CRYSTAL'S POV
A human, born to werewolves? Yeah, that's me!!
My name is Crystal Lennox. I work at a large restaurant close to my home, serving as a waitress, and I live with my Foster parents .
They were not blood-related, but you already knew that, and neither were we bound by marriage. My parents entrusted me to them because my Foster Parents loved me so much.
That year I had turned seventeen, although I looked nineteen- perhaps I had the wolf genes anyway.
My parents were leaders of a wolf clan somewhere in Pasadena, but unlike them, I was not born with a wolf. I was an ordinary human. Maybe that was why they sent me away, but I did not regret their decision.
I live well in California with humans, and my step-parents love me. What more can I ask for?
It was late afternoon, and I had to go to work for my shift. I opened the closet and sighed. There were so many clothes in there. I finally selected a red T-shirt and jeans.
While dressing up, the thought of the young man who lived in the castle right across the street from the restaurant crossed my mind again. He usually came in the evening to buy food.
Something strange about him kept me bothered for the last few weeks, or maybe longer. I did not understand why, but seeing him gives me goosebumps.
Whenever he was around, my heart raced and my body shuddered. I find it difficult to take my eyes off him. My mind goes blank, and I feel intoxicated every time I spot him. Something about him did strange things to my body; especially to my heart- It fluttered uncontrollably, and I got butterflies in my stomach.
Not only that, his presence makes me feel dizzy. My legs wobble, unable to support my body. Seeing him made something crawl under my skin, an itching sensation I could not describe.
I needed to know why my body reacts the way it does around him? Why does warmth envelop my body from the inside yet give me goosebumps on the outside?
His eyes were intimidating, and the way he moved made my heart stop beating. He was handsome, but he was not the first handsome guy I had ever met. So why did his presence make me feel that way?
Curiosity to get answers to those questions made me approach him whenever I got the chance, but I never dared to confront him. The thought of that abnormality kept me bothered for the past few weeks.
When I finished dressing, I grabbed my black bag and hurried downstairs.
I ran into mommy and daddy, as I affectionately called them. They were sitting at the dining room table when I arrived. The maid had already served breakfast.
"Good afternoon, everyone!" I greeted them cheerfully.
I walked over to mommy and gave her a peck on her right cheek.
"Why are you in a hurry, Crystal? Aren't you having lunch with us today?" She asked, frowning.
"No, I'm running late, but I promise I'll eat at work," I said.
She did not seem convinced by my answer, so I gave her a reassuring smile.
"Well, if you say so. Be careful out there."
"I promise, okay? Bye. Take care." I waved and hurried out of the door.
My step-parents as I like to call them were very charming. Sometimes I felt like they were kinder than my actual parents. I mean, who throws out their children for not having a wolf?
I arrived at McMahon's Food Palace, where I worked. The back door was open, and I hurried in as I did not want to draw attention to myself.
I walked into the kitchen and the first person I met was Margaret. She was one of the oldest cooks in the restaurant, and she was also very nice.
She was already old, with a twisted waist and gray hair. Her face was full of wrinkles. She looked like a faded shadow of her former self.
Something far more hideous than a wooden mask had permanently replaced her face, which was once so attractive. All-around and along her neck was a network of crisscrossed veins.
"Hello, Margaret." I smiled as usual.
My mother often told me that the best way to live your life was with a smile on your face.
"Hi, you're finally here. Grab an apron and get out there as fast as possible," she instructed me.
"Well, what's wrong, Mrs. Maggie?" I asked.
"Your partner Rosie is sick today, and she's taken sick leave from the boss. It's up to you and Grace to take over."
"Oh!" I groaned. So it was going to be a stressful day, got it.
I quickly grabbed an apron and headed to the local eatery. There were a lot of customers there.
Suddenly, my heart started beating fast, and I could not understand why.
"Crystal, don't stand by and do nothing. Check what that man wants." Grace instructed as she walked by with an empty tray in her hand.
I nodded my head. She seemed to be in a bad mood today. I turned towards the direction she had pointed and froze. It was him; the guy from the castle.
That explained why my heartbeat increased when I walked in here. But why?
"Crystal! Don't tell me you've finally gone deaf!" Grace almost shouted as she passed by me again, but she had two takeout plates in her hands.
"Sorry," I muttered and headed toward the man.
I reached for his table and swallowed hard. He concentrated his gaze on reading the menu.
His blond hair caught my eye. It was a messy blond, which was rare in that part of the country.
"Sir," I said and swallowed hard. Even speaking in his presence was difficult. I felt like my legs were going to give up on me at any moment.
"What would you like to have?" I finally found my voice.
"Pasta and grilled chicken wings with a bottle of coke," he replied without looking up.
"Okay," I replied, and walked away to bring his order.
The cooks arranged everything on a tray, and I carried it to his table. I arrived at the table and served him. Then, picking up the tray, I was about to leave when he said something and I stopped.
"Open the bottle!" he ordered me in a stern voice. He still did not look up at me, as he was busy on his phone.
I picked up the bottle opener and fixed it on the bottle cap. My hands were shaking and before I could realize what was happening, I accidentally knocked the bottle over and the drink spilled on his shirt.
"What the fuck!" he grunted and immediately got up.
That was when he looked at me, and I froze. Those blue eyes were intimidating. They made my body shudder even more than before.
That was not fear. That was something else that I could not explain, but it had taken over my entire body, and I was barely in control.
"Are you dumb or what? You just spilled a drink on me," he yelled and I subconsciously shuddered.
However, I could not move or speak a word. Nor could I leave the place. Those blue eyes had trapped me. An invisible force sealed my lips and shackled my legs.
"Crystal! What have you done?" Grace screamed.
"Get out, right now!" she ordered me.
It was then that I found the courage to move. I heard her apologizing to the man as I hurried away. The boss was definitely going to be mad at me if he heard about that.
What was wrong with me?
I went to the kitchen and dropped the tray with a sad face. Just then, Grace walked in. She was not only older than me in age but also at work.
"Why are you so clumsy today, Crystal? You almost lost us a valued customer . Forget it; someone said the tissue in the customer restroom has run out. Go replace it," she instructed me.
I nodded and grabbed a large tissue roll from the shelf, heading for the restaurant restroom. This wasn't even in my job description!!
All I had wanted for the last few weeks was to know him better so he could help me understand my strange body reactions around him. But I kept screwing up.
I got to the restroom and pushed the door unconsciously. I was lost in my thoughts and did not even care to knock on the door.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I heard someone yelling and looked up.
I was stunned to see his bare-chest. He was cleaning his shirt that I had spilled the coke on.
Oh no, not again!
"I... I'm... I'm sorry! I... I didn't know you... were here." My words came out jumbled and I was stammering nervously.
I spun on my heels and was about to leave when he grabbed my hand, pulled me back, and then closed the door behind him.

LOGAN'S POV
I pushed her against the wall, and her back crashed hard. Then, closing the door behind me, I turned to look at her.
"What are you up to? You've been harassing me for the past few weeks, and today you spilled a drink on me. Now you've followed me into the restroom. How shameless can you be?" I growled at her, and she flinched.
"No! I swear, I didn't even know you were here," she said with pleading eyes.
"Liar! You've been following me everywhere. You think I didn't notice?" I yelled at her.
"Yes, we meet everywhere, but it's all a coincidence. I never planned for those meetings to happen! For some strange reason, we just happen to be in the same place at the same time!" She tried to escape.
"But it can't keep on happening all the time! You think I'm a fool that I'll believe your silly lies?" I shouted as I closed in on her.
She tried to move but her back was against the wall and she had nowhere to go. I trapped her between my body and the wall, placing a hand over her head.
"I'm not lying. I haven't been following you," she protested.
"Quiet! I know girls like you and what they want from me. You better stop stalking me or you'll soon be in big trouble," I growled as my hands clenched into a fist.
"You're getting it all wrong. I didn't mean to harass you. We just bump into each other all the time," she said as she looked away from me.
Maybe it was a curse to be a young and sexy Alpha of a powerful pack. Girls never left me alone and this one, in particular, seemed to irritate me the most, especially considering she was a human.
Did she really think of becoming my Luna? She was not even a werewolf, yet she was trying so hard. Such behavior disgusted me.
I brought my lips near her left ear, making her flinch again.
"Stay within your boundaries. I won't be so merciful the next time you cross my path. You could even end up losing your job. So be very careful. You'll never get what you want from me, so you should stop trying," I warned in a low whisper.
I heard her heart thudding in her chest. That was enough for me to know that I had scared her. Maybe then she would go away from me.
I finally let go of her and headed for the bathroom mirror. I still had not cleaned the brown stain on my white shirt that had been formed because of the spilled drink. She might have spilled it intentionally, so we would meet there in the bathroom.
Besides, How did she have the nerve to blame it on chance? What a clever plan?
She could fool others with her innocent face, but I knew how cunning she was.
"So, since we always bump into each other, can I at least know your name?" she asked as she fidgeted with her fingers.
At first, I thought I heard it wrong. I meant, I just warned that girl, but there she was, still trying to get close to me.
I looked at her through the mirror, and I saw how she had her eyes fixed on my clothless body.
"You are really shameless. You just denied harassing me, and here you are now, trying to start a conversation with a half-naked man." I smirked at her shamelessness.
"Leave. Now!" I spoke calmly, trying hard not to lose my cool.
"No, it's not like that. I just want to know your name because..."
"I said leave!" I shouted before she could say her words, as her nasty attitude irritated me.
I could not believe her guts.
"Okay, I'm sorry. I'll go now," she said with a hint of sadness and headed for the door.
I sighed in relief as she left the bathroom and closed the door. I decided not to visit that restaurant from then on, so she would not have an excuse to approach me.
I heard the door open with a screeching sound and turned to see who it was again. It looked like no one knew to knock anymore.
I turned around and it surprised me to see her again. I gritted my teeth angrily. The girl was really something else!
"Sorry, I forgot to place this here," she said, holding up a large tissue roll.
I nodded my head and sighed softly, then turned back to the mirror. If I was not in a good mood that day, she would have lost her job.
I watched her through the mirror as she replaced the finished tissue roll, then strolled toward the door.
"It wouldn't hurt to tell me your name." She asked again, softly.
"Get out!" I shouted angrily, and she scurried away.
Why would a restaurant hire such a person? She had no shame.
She was so desperate to approach me just because I was Alpha. She was not the first one I knew who was like that, but she was the most persistent of them all. She was really brave.

CRYSTAL'S POV
"Okay, thanks for the discount," I smiled at the woman, who was selling vegetables as she had been so kind to me.
I picked up the bag of vegetables and hurried out of her store. I walked out as I checked the bag to make sure I did not forget anything Mrs. Maggie had asked me to buy.
As I walked with my face in the bag, I ran into a wall. Wait, that was not exactly a wall.
I looked up to see what it was I bumped into and was blocking my path. The first thing that registered in my eyes was a broad chest. My hands had an urge to touch the chest of their own accord, and I felt strange sparks shooting up my arm and up my body. Those sparks made me feel dizzy.
I looked up, and my heart skipped a beat at that moment. It was him again. Why did we keep running into each other?
His white T-shirt was tight against his body and highlighted his manly chest and muscles. His dreamy blue eyes made me think of clouds. Only that they contained an invisible fire.
My mind clouded over, and my mouth closed. I tried to speak, but no words came out of my mouth.
His smell filled my nose, like one of the spices Mrs. Maggie used for making cakes. Suddenly, the air became hot and heavy. I backed up a few steps to get away from his intoxicating presence. I needed to regain my ability to think clearly.
"Hello." I finally found my tongue, but I was not sure it was the right word.
He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth as he turned red with anger.
"Sorry, it was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going," I quickly added.
"I don't care if you have eyes or not! Why can't you just leave me alone? I thought I had strictly warned you not to stalk me again, but you still followed me here!" he shot back.
"What? No, that's not true," I gasped.
I could not believe he thought I had followed him. For God's sake, I went there to shop! I had no intention of stalking him.
"Shut up! We both know that's not true. You're always lurking around me, and I know exactly why you do it, but I'm telling you for the last time that you can't get it, so stop trying!" he shouted angrily.
People had already begun to stop and look at us. They did not mind their own fucking business. And him? Why did he enjoy embarrassing me? What did he think I wanted from him?
"I don't know what you think I want from you, but you're wrong and I'm not following you. I am here to buy some vegetables. Isn't it obvious?" I asked, holding up the bag containing the vegetables in front of his eyes.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him. My body shuddered with fear and my heart pounded unceasingly.
"Vegetables, huh? This is a well-thought-out plan. I'm sure you're smart, but I'm smarter. Now I'll repeat myself for the last time. Stop harassing me!" he growled angrily.
He let go of my arm and turned back in the direction he came from. Then he walked away.
I ran after him immediately, and he stopped. He looked at me with an unhinged face.
He really needed to blow off some steam, but he could do that after we meet.
"Do I have to appease you before you leave me?" he yelled, and I flinched as I took a step back from him.
"Please, I just want to know your name. Is that too much to ask?" I begged him.
"Why? We're not friends, and I don't like you being around me, so why should I tell you my name?" he retorted.
"I'm just asking because...."
"Logan! Over here!" a voice interrupted me as I was about to explain to him and we both looked to the left.
He was a young man of about my age, standing next to a car.
"Finally," he muttered and crossed to the other side of the road.
I stood in place, watching him. So his name was Logan. I did not think I knew him, but that still did not explain why I felt so strange around him.
"Who was that girl?" I heard the other man ask him.
"Shut up, Blake, just take me home," he muttered and got into the car.
He looked in my direction once before the car moved. I sighed and walked away. I was already running late.

CRYSTAL'S POV
It was supposed to be my birthday, not like it mattered, but yeah. I paced around my room, feeling uncomfortable. I had just come home from work and was feeling grumpy.
Maybe it was because mom and dad had not bothered to see me for the past two years, which made me feel unwanted.
Mommy and daddy had gone off to one of those late-night parties at a country club, I mean my foster parents, so it was just me at home.
The boredom and the eerie silence added to my discomfort. I hurried into the bathroom and took a quick shower, but I still felt uneasy. I had a strange feeling that I could not explain, a feeling of unease and sickness that was not going away somehow.
When I could not take it anymore, I dressed nicely and went out into the cold street with only my bag in my hand.
I thought about where to go since I had no friends. Going back to the restaurant even though my shift was over for the day was not a good idea as I knew my boss would not be happy if he saw there after my work hours. He was a strange man.
Then I heard a voice whisper something in my head. I should go to the club. Well. I had never tried it, maybe because I was not of age then, but I guess there was always a first time. I could drink myself into a stupor.
It might just make me feel better. Maybe it might help me get rid of those strange feelings I had. The next day was a holiday, so I had nothing to worry about. I could sleep all day.
I flagged down a cab and hopped in.
"The nearest club, please," I told the driver and leaned my head on the seat foam.
The driver looked at me and shook his head as he smiled mischievously. He might have thought I was an irresponsible teenager who was going to waste her life in a club that night, but that did not bother me at all.
I looked out of the window and admired the stars as they twinkled in the sky. It was a full moon, and that reminded me of my home.
The night of the full moon was something special to werewolves. It meant a lot to them, but I was a human, so I paid little attention to their customs and beliefs.
The car stopped, and I jerked out of my thoughts. I looked out the window to see a club full of life and fun.
"Here we are," the cab driver informed me with a smile plastered on his face.
For the first time in a long time, I did not return a smile of my own. I just paid the cab fare and got out.
There were many flashy cars parked in the club's parking lot. One of them caught my eye. It looked somehow familiar. But I ignored the thought.
The chance of running into someone familiar at that place was very thin because the few people I knew were not the party type.
I made my way to the door of the club and suddenly froze. My heartbeat became louder and faster as a strange scent wafted into my nose. My uneasiness increased, awakening strange emotions in me.
Maybe coming here was not such a good idea, but as I was already here, I decided to go in.
I entered the club and realized that the stench of alcohol wafted everywhere and filled the air. Half-naked women were dancing to appease rich, drunken old men. Some couples were kissing, both straight and gay. The music was loud and the light bulbs emitted different colors of light.
'So that was what the clubs were like? Hmm.'
A few men looked at me with a smirk. I made my way to the bar, ignoring all the eyes on me, and encountered a half-drunk bartender.
Strange that even the staff were drunk. How would they be drunk and work?
"Hello, pretty lady, what can I get you?" he asked with a coy smile. His breath smelled of whiskey.
"Um, anything strong enough to clear my head." I knew little about alcohol, so I let the bartender choose.
It was the stupidest decision I had made in my life.
The bartender pulled out a small glass and gave me a shot of a colorless drink. I was sure it was alcohol, but I thought it was too small to have such a big effect on me?
I raised my eyebrows meaningfully at him as I scrutinized the glass. He gave me a nod of approval as if he understood my question. What did he take me for, a baby?
I confidently drank it all in one gulp and was about to order one more, but suddenly I felt a burning sensation in my chest. I coughed out loud, with my face scrunched up.
Great. I thought it was supposed to make me feel less groggy and stop the discomfort I was feeling, but that strange feeling did not go away. Instead, I started coughing.
I turned around and my burning heart froze the moment I saw those dreamy blue eyes.
He was sitting not far away, on a long couch. They probably reserved it for VIP clients.
He looked dapper and hot in a black suit with a red shirt inside. He looked drunk as I noticed there were three empty vodka bottles on his table, which were made of short glasses with delicate designs, looking different from the rest in the club.
It had been several weeks since I had seen him because, although I fought the urge not to approach him, he always seemed to be irritated by my presence.
I walked over to him and sat down next to him, feeling nervous. I hoped he would not make a scene there. Since I did not know anyone else around, I needed his company. Maybe a little chatting and alcohol would make the uncomfortable feeling go away.
"Logan," I called him, and he looked in my direction.
As soon as his gaze met mine, that strange feeling became more apparent. Then my whole body felt restless. Something itched in my head as I felt confused about what was happening to me.
"You?" he muttered in a half-sober tone. It was obvious that he was drunk.
"Um, can I sit here with you, please? I feel like talking to someone and I don't know anyone else here except you. I promise I won't bother you," I asked.
He grunted as he looked at me. He seemed to be contemplating his answer.
"Hmm. So why did you come here?" he asked.
"Um, I wanted to clear my head and thought this would be the right place. How about you?" I replied to him.
"Same," he replied with his usual poker face.
How was I supposed to know if he was happy or sad? His face was always devoid of emotions. Wait, why did I care about his feelings? I should have gotten drunk and gone back to my cozy bed.
We had a brief discussion about each other, and then, at one point, I found myself staring at him endlessly. His long, erect nose, his blond hair tousled, as well as his little sideburns. I think he had not shaved in a while because his cheeks were usually bald, but not that day.
Then he was staring at me. My hand was trembling, fighting the urge to touch him.
Slowly, I moved over and sat next to him, as he had his gaze fixed on my face, saying nothing. Our shoulders touched as I turned to him.
Unconsciously, my hands wanted to caress his cheeks. I felt my body acting of its own volition. I could not fight the impulse to touch him anymore.
My hand came into contact with his face, and at that very moment, my discomfort disappeared.
That strange sensation bothering me was no more there, but soon a new feeling replaced it. I felt my body enveloped in warmth and my breathing quickened.
I stroked his impressive cheekbones and, unable to help myself, I moved closer to him.
I could not control myself, and he was too drunk to stop me.
As I caressed his face, I suddenly felt a strong desire for... sex? My thoughts and desire surprised me.
It was beyond my control as I felt my body was doing things on its own, things my mind did not approve of.
"What are you doing?" he stammered in his half-drunk state.
Although I did not know what I was doing, I still did it.
Suddenly, I leaned forward for his lips. I found myself stuck to his body as I savaged him with my lips. It was a brutal, hungry desire for his lips and his whole body.
At first, he tried to resist me and my kiss, but I could not stop. The more he moved back, the more I leaned my body on him.
My hands were exploring his body as I struggled with his shirt buttons.
Unable to resist me any longer, he too responded to my kisses. His hands went behind me and massaged my back. Then his broad hands supported my spine and pulled me closer to him.
I did not understand what his touch did to me. I felt sparkles of electricity run through me and the heat increasing with each kiss he planted on my neck.
Soon we were both in a dark room. I did not even remember how and when we got there. I just found us there.
I helped him take off his clothes while he took off mine. Even though the room was dark, I could still see the lust in his eyes, but it was nothing compared to the desire in my eyes.
I made him sit on the bed, then pushed him down gently and got on top of him.
I massaged his broad, manly chest and kissed his nipples.
I did not know what happened to me, but whatever it was, I had become a monster. A horny monster and I could not help it.
I moved my right hand down to his manhood and caressed it as I kissed him. He moaned like an animal.
His lips made my body ache so much between my legs, and I wanted him inside me immediately. I could not wait any longer.
Slowly, I got up and sat on his already erect cock. I felt something snap inside me and a painful moan escaped my lips.
It was huge, and it was my first time. Soon the feeling of pain dissipated, and I felt like I was on cloud nine. I let my body adjust to him before I began to move my hips slowly, then gently bobbed my body up and down, riding him as if my life depended on it.
Our moans filled the air. I felt as if a strange spirit had possessed me, but I had never felt better.
He rolled me over and took control, thrusting hard into me as I moaned. After what seemed like hours, I felt him release his seed inside me as I also had my orgasm, and then he climbed off me.

LOGAN'S POV
I woke up with a terrible headache. As I opened my eyes, it surprised me to see Crystal sleeping peacefully on my chest. We were both covered by a white blanket.
What the fuck!!!
I pushed her off of me but she did not wake up. I jumped out of the bed and grabbed my pants.
At that moment, some scenes from the night before flashed in front of my eyes. No! No! No! No! It cannot be true!
"Crystal!" I shouted angrily, as I wore my suit pants.
My loud voice startled her, and she woke up immediately. As soon as she woke up, she grabbed the sheet and wrapped her body in it, then got out of bed.
"Why did you do this?" I yelled at her.
"Do? Do what?"
Was she still sleeping, or was she blind?
"Don't play innocent. You seduced me last night so you could finally achieve your goal, didn't you?" I yelled at her.
I could not believe she went that far just to become my Luna.
"No! No, I..."
"You what? That's the reason you've been stalking me all these months? You've been waiting for an opportunity like this so you could come into my life?"
"That's not true, Logan, I-"
"Don't say my name!" I spat at her.
Tears formed in her eyes, but those crocodile tears of a cheap lady who had no morals could not fool me.
"You saw last night that I was drunk and vulnerable. So you seduced me. Are you this shameless?" I was furious.
I could not believe I had mated with a human, something I had been avoiding for years. She might have used some kind of special potion on me or I would never have consented to that!
"Logan. I know what happened between us isn't right, but you're getting it all wrong. I didn't seduce you. It... It just happened." She protested.
I felt irritated at the sight of her. How could she stoop so low?
I ignored her pleas and put on my clothes and threw cash at her from my wallet.
"I don't care what happened between us last night. Use this money to pay for the room and keep the rest as pay. I don't want to see your filthy face again, you shameless cunt." I spat and left as she cried behind.
I cursed the day I met that girl. I always knew she would be trouble in my life. If anyone in my clan found out about that one-night stand, it would not be good for me.
I thought of leaving the country. I had the Asian branch of my company to concentrate on and expand. California had brought me nothing but trouble.
