Extract From The Book

I continue running without turning back passing through many tall tress trapping my legs on the bushes as it creat path for me, the grasses slapping against my skin. I was scared I and I don't know where I was going to but I know I am far away from home. My school bag that my mom gave to me was on my back with my med inside it as I continue running panting heavily. I run like mad, from the mysterious men chasing after me my breath are sharp and frantic, my eyes are filed with tears.

Fear washes over me when I think of the possibility of my life being cut short. The ground blurred before me when sundelly my legs hit a stone on the floor making me to miss some steps as I fall flat on the floor and within few seconds the men are already close to me standing at my front grinning dangerously.

"Please don't kill me" the word came out of my mouth in fear as I stare at the hefty man standing before me.

**Prologue**

Will human ever believe that werewolves exist? When they have never seen any before except reading it from fictional stories, it all an imagination of someone thought that was brought to life. Aria is among those that never believe that werewolves exist. But she was forced to believe all this when she saw Darian an Alpha who she thought was a normal being transforming into a wolf before her.

Jet Wolf Gunner is the Alpha of silver pack he lived many years looking for his mate non stop. Most of his age mate find their mate before 17or even 18 but finding his own mate was very difficult for him not until one day when he met her but she was a human and it won't be easy to claim because no human believe that werewolves exist.

He was able to convinced her and they both fall imlove with each other and she started living with him in his pack as the Luna.

The cry of a baby filed the room followed by the loud scream of the mother as she cry in pain and agony. Finally she is giving birth to her child after 11 months of carrying the pregnancy.

"It a girl" the midwife announced and immediately they were thunderous noise and strange lighting in the sky and the hair color of the baby changed from black to glowing white giving more lighting to the thunder and her eyes shine very brightly.

Fear gripped the midwife as she clutch the baby tightly to her chest it is not raining season yet but the sky started dropping water from heaven just on a particular spot not all over the pack which is strange and it means bad luck.

"This is strange she is a cursed child" one of the midwives cry when sundelly an unknown hand choked her as she drop dead to the floor.

The first child of the Alpha of Silver pack was said to be a cursed child and the penalty is for her to be killed and her body thrown out of the pack.

But the question still remains that was she a cursed child? or there is something behind her birth. Was she really killed? find out in this interesting story.

*CHAPTER 1*

"Kill her" he heard the command of the doctor as he stand before the woman that gave birth to him a knife on his hand the only thing that his body reacts to is their command the only thing that he thirst for is blood and he must surely obey his master command.

"I said kill her now" came the bold voice in a command again and without warning he took a slow step closer to the woman who was tied before him.

"No this is not you he is controlling your senses he is controlling your mind" the woman cried in a loud voice still kneeling before him.

His eyes color change from green to yellow then to red as he stand before her without pity and with a blood sucking eyes. He scream in a loud voice as he raise the knife up and he Peirce it directly into her stomach. Immediately the knife was deep inside her he pause as his red eyes stare into her face tears dropping down his face a tears of agony, pity and regret for killing her he can never forgive himself for it even if he was been controlled the fact still remain that he killed her.

Darian woke up with a jerk from his sleep sweating profusely this have been the nightmares that have been hunting him for years a guilty that his heart won't stop feeling a day that changed his life forever changing him into a cold hearted person.

Aria POV

I am Aria and I am 17 years old and will be clocking 18 in the next three months. I lived with my parents and we are one happy family not until one night that very sad night when my perfect beautiful life became upside down the night I lost my parents. The night that starts the journey of my life with so many complicated things and many secret behind my existence in life that night I start my journey of knowing about my past and future, a night that leads to a sweet bitterd life when I met my true mate.

Grayyyyyyyy the loud sound of my alarm woke me up from my beautiful sleep. Gosh I was having a sweet dream which was disturbed by this

annoying alarm, with my eyes still closed I hit my hand on the alarm furiously making it to stop ringing as I cover my head back with my devout I buried myself inside the cloth and rapped my hand around my body to catch up with my sleep again hoping I can continue from where I stopped in my sweet dream.

I haven't slept for long when I started hearing a knock on my door "Not now" I mumbled under my breath knowing who it is. The knock came again but I didn't bother to answer as I turn to the other side turning my back away from the door pretending to be asleep. Can't I have a sweet morning sleep for once.?

Without warning the door to my room flung open as my mum enterered I Know she is definitely the one if my alarm didn't wake me up from my sleep my mum is always my second alarm to wake me.

"Young lady get your ass off that bed else you will be late for school today" my mom voice came making me to hold tight to my body below the blanket not ready to answer her still pretending to be asleep.

I heard her footsteps as she walks towards my window and she raised the curtain up making the ray of light to shine directly into my room as everywhere becomes bright the breeze of nature blowing inside.

"Aria I believe you won't want to be late to Mr Frank class this morning and remember, you have to submit the assignment he gave to you yesterday" she said making me to pull the blanket off my body in a rush jumping down from the bed immediately I am definitely not ready to receive any punishment today from Mr Frank my Math teacher and to make it worst he he gave us an assignment which my mum was able to help me solve yesterday because I hate math so much and am not even ready to learn it.

"Good morning mum" I muttered as I quickly rushed into the bathroom to take my bath and prepare for the new day ahead of me. My mom only smile as she watch me enterered the bathroom in a rush she knows the best way to get me being late to Mr Frank class is the last thing that any student in Springfield Academy will want to do he will not only punish you he will embarrass you also in front of the class.

I quickly brush my teeth and enter the shower allowing the worm water to do wonders to my smooth skin as the dream I had earlier today came rushing through my thought. I saw him and he told me we are Meant to be together forever but there was this word he use "Mate" and it sound strange to me the way he said the word makes it look strong having a lot of unknown meaning to me.

After spending about two minutes in the bathroom I came out with a blue towel tied around my waist then my phone started ringing I rushed towards it as I picked it on my bed.

"Hello Aria where are you?" Alice voice echo from the other side.

"Getting ready for school."

"What!! you are still at home, have you forgotten that are we having Mr Frank lecture this morning?" she yelled making me to roll my eyes.

"I know Alice and am almost done" I muttered using one hand to start massaging cream on my body using my shoulder to hold the phone in position.

"please try to be fast Aria, you know I am waiting for you or should I start going?" She asked but I know she won't leave me we don't go to school separately we are both stuck with each other I knew that was just a mare threat.

"I will be right there" I mumble under my breath.

"And make sure you........" Before she could complete her statement I quickly cut the call not ready to hear her complain again even if she continue nagging from now till tomorrow she will still wait for me until I am done besides, what are we best friends for.

After I was done rubbing cream on my body I search through my wardrobe looking for clothes to wear then my eyes caught my blue baggy treasure and I wore a black hood on it. Well I have a special love for big dress I prefer wearing a baggy clothes instead of a skimming one because I really felt comfortable inside it.

I quickly packed my long dark-brown hair into a ponytail before carrying my blue pack bag. Which is my favorite color I complete my dressing with a black canvas before rushing out of my room closing the door behind me.

I piped through the kitchen door and I saw my mum being busy inside the kitchen making breakfast "Mummy I am off to school" I yelled standing at the entrance of the door.

"Come back here young lady" I heard my mom yelled calling me back before I could even take two steps away.

What did she want now?

"Yes you have to take it for your health" she mumble as she walk inside the kitchen and she came back with a green substance which was inside a glass cup.

"Mum you know I hate it why do you always force me to take this shit" I mumbled squeezing my face in disgust.

"It for your own good this is the only way to keep you healthy" I have been living all my life taking this med since I was a little girl. She started feeding me with it as I close my eyes in disgust I hate this med so much I don't really know what it is made of but I know it is made by my mom she is a scientist.

"Mum I am okay" I withdraw my mouth from the cup as my mouth curved into a frown.

"No you have to finish this" she said and forced it back into my mouth. When it comes to me taking the med my mom always make sure she force me into taking it all and she always won.

"Good girl" she threw me a sweet smile after I was done drinking all the content.

"Mum I hate this shit and it very sour with a bad smell" I complained bitterly.

"Yes I know you hate it but don't worry I have find a better way to make it easy for you so won't stop taking it" she use her thumb to play with my cheeks as she find her way back towards what she was doing.

"But mom to be serious when will I have to stop taking this? Or will I live the rest of my life based on drugs?"

I saw my mom pause for awhile as silent descend on the both of us "No my princess you won't have to take it forever once you are better then you can stop taking it" she walk towards the sink washing the dirty dish on it. Okay this is the time she always act busy whenever I am complaing about the stupid drugs she always force me to take every morning.

"But mom I am okay now I am feeling better" I turn around trying to make her understand my point.

"Aria please can we not argue about this now? it too early" my mom cut me off.

"Fine, I am off to school" I yelled rushing out of the house I am already late I don't have enough time to lay my complain down maybe next time.

"Aria won't you eat before going....."

I have already rush out of the kitchen before she realized that I am no longer inside with her.

Immediately I ran out of the house my driver is already outside waiting for me. My parents her rich giving me the best life I deserve my dad who is a doctor is not always around he usually comes back home during weekends so I spend most of my time with my mum who was a scientist although she is not always around too but she spend much time with me than my dad.

After driving for few minutes I saw Alicia at the road side waiting for me my driver stop while she hop inside the car she always wait for me at this junction so we can go to school together.

"Why are you late today? I think you need flogging from Mr Frank" she said seating on the seat next to me.

"For the first time Alice I was having a good dream not those scaring one's so I don't want to wake up" I said smiling at myself as I remember the dream my heart beat racing heavily like it happened in reality. Well, how I wish it real.

"Really?" Alice turn facing me. "For the first time, Aria, for the first time you are having a nice dream" she said in disbelief because most of the dreams I told her about is either I am being chased or I was being tied up.

"I wish I can be having such sweet dream everyday" I smiled to myself.

"Then you will be coming to school late everyday because you wouldn't want to wake up" she tease giving me a deadly stare. "So what is the dream all about?"

"I am not telling you" I mumble because I know she will laughed at me it all about love and Alice never believe there is true love because of the heart break she have passed through from the guy she truly loved well that is a story for another day.

"Why won't you tell me? We never keep things away from each other" She asked giving me a frowning face.

"It nothing serious but I am just happy that there is someone out there that loved me and he is waiting for me" I said looking through the window a smile on my face as the morning breeze touch my skin.

"Okay fine I will tell you" I mumble giving up Finally I can't let her kill me with her eyes. "In my dream I saw a very....."

"Miss Aria we are here" I heard the voice of the driver interupting me. We were both busy talking that we didn't realize we are already inside the school compound. Alice was looking very angry for the interruption while I was very happy about it within me, at least he have saved me from Alice mockery for now because I know Alice too well she will still remind me about this topic she won't let it slide.

We both came down from the car and I could see that disappointing look on her face she hate hearing half story.

"Hey, Alice over there" I yelled pointing at the Math teacher Mr Frank who was heading to our class then I remembered his number one rule he must not enter the class room before any student else you will receive punishment. Without warning I and Alice quickly pick to our hells and ran inside our class room before him.

After a long period with the Math teacher I checked my timetable and realized I was having different lecture with Alice so we went our separate ways.

Few minutes later the lecture was over I came out of the class and was waiting for Alice so we can go to the school canteen together since it time for break. I Haven't waited for long when I saw her coming out of her class she was looking around in search of me because she knew I will definitely be outside somewhere waiting for her.

"Hey, Alice" I called waving my hand at her running towards her direction when sundelly I found myself hitting someone, no he just hit me so hard making all my books to came falling on the floor I raise my head up and I realized it was Andy the school most handsome guy which every girl has a crush on.

"Hey, watch it dude" he yelled giving me a deadly glare.

Oh God this is not how I planned my day today

I could see his hand tighten into a fist his eyes glaring hard at me in anger like he is going to eat me up.

"I need to teach you a lesson" he yelled angrily as he raised his hand up to slap me the slap was coming unexpectedly but I was saved by my best friend Alice before it landed on me she is already standing before me.

"Andy plea.....seee....." I heard Alice scream as she rushed right in my front and the slap landed on her face making her to staggered back a little and I hold her with my hands from behind preventing her from falling down.

"Get out of my way" Andy yelled glaring hard at Alice with anger as he push her to the side and he move closer to me like an angry lion making me to take a step backwards but I have no where to run to and I don't have the power to face him and fight him.

He raised his hand to slap me again as I close my eyes shut ready to receive the slap so everything can die off I wouldn't want Alice receiving another slap for my sake because it affect me emotionally even if it doesn't touch me.

But before the slap could land on my face again I heard Alice voice again. "Please Andy forgive her" Alice pleaded going on her knees for the bastard. Immediately he hang his hand on the air as he stare at Alice who was below him begging him already in tears I looked at his face then a smirk curved on his lip as he watch her.

He turn facing the crowd who are already enjoying the scene some were hidding their face because of fear he chuckled for awhile turning back to Alice "I will let your friend go on one condition, are you ready to face the condition?" He asked with a wicked smile.

I don't know what is really going through his mind or what he is planning but I know the devil doesn't have a good plans.

"Whatever condition you have I am ready to face it" Alice said still kneeling below him while I just remain quite waiting to hear what the devil's condition might be.

"Good girl" he smirk. "You will have to bend down low and lick my feet using your hair to clean it dry" he commanded with a wicked grin his voice holding so much authority.

"Wooooooooo" I heard the loud scream from the student as they were anticipating to see what we happen next they are all enjoying the view.

"No she is not doing that" I protest nodding my head in disagreement and immediately his face turn dark and furrious. How can she lick his feet not even kissing it he is definitely a bastard for saying such thing.

Immediately all the students change their face into a disgusting look as she lick his feet while I remain still tears already gathered on my eyes this guy is surely the devil's incanate. If I know this is how it will end up putting my best friend in such mess then I wouldn't have speak back at him.

After licking his feet for some time she used her dark long hair to start cleaning his feet until all her saliva on his leg was dried off.

Andy pushed Alice away with his leg making her to hit her butt on the floor as he move closer to me and whisper in my ear "Next time you won't cross paths with the wolf" he whisper close to my ear his hot breath fanning my neck causing me to feel a moving sensation on my body before he walks away.

"Alice" I called rushing towards my friend as I help her to stand on her feet I pull her into a hug crying my heart out I feel really bad for putting her in to such mess. I hold her on her shoulder as we find out our way out of the crowd who wouldn't stop staring at us. I felt really sorry for her.

I hold Alice on her waist as I lead her to an empty class and we both sat down.

"Alice I am sorry for causing you suh embarrassemet and pain" I apologized feeling really sorry for my best friend it all my fault.

"It okay Aria, it not your fault" she smiled at me one hand on her stomach.

"If I know this is what it will result to I would have let him go instead of speaking back at him" I mumble.

"I know that Andy is a bad boy and a bully but I never believe he could go to that extent of asking me to lick his feet and I feel something different about him" Alice muttered.

"Well one thing you should know is that bad boys always get worst each day" I said using my hands to arrange her already scattered hair.

"I hate him so much" Alice cried. "How could he betrayed me and break up with me in less than a month and now he humiliate me in front of everyone to show how happy he is for ending the relationship" Alice cried as I pulled her into a hug and she rest her head on my shoulder crying her heart out.

Andy is a fool and he will pay for this someday breaking up with my friend in the most stupid way and now humiliating her he won't go free I believe that someday I will be in position to deal with him.

"It okay Alice, Andy doesn't deserve your love one day you will meet someone better" I assured her. "Take this" I said bringing out a bottle of water from my bag and I hand it over to her.

I heard my phone peep inside my bag as I hurriedly pick it up I opened the screen and I was shocked at what I saw. Oh my God how did this happen someone just send the video of Alicia licking Aiden feet to every student God this is bad and a total embarrassemet.

*Look at the bitch he was licking her ex feet in apology isn't that lame* I read the headline of the message and I felt tears gathering at the corner of my eyes but I was quick to blink it off I am not gonna cry.

The only person that can do this stupid thing should be Sophia Andy's current girlfriend she is always looking for way to get into Alice.

I quickly put my phone back inside my bag I am not going to let Alice see this it will worsen how bad she is feeling now.

We spend all out break hours inside the empty class room without eating as I try my best to help calm Alice down making her to stop crying and convincing to forget about Andy. Long story cut short rest of our day in school was very sad and boring but deep down me it not over between I and Andy he will pay for everything.

After closing hour in school I and Alice walk out of the class as we find our way outside. All eyes was on us, some was staring at us others were pointing at us each having something to say about us as we move among the crowd. This is all Andy's fault I was a quiet and unpopular student in this school but now the stupid a**hole has announced me.

All thanks to God my driver is already outside waiting for me saving us from the eyes staring at us and the fingers pointing at us immediately we entered the car he drive off as I heaved a deep sigh of relief today's school was bad. I and Alice didn't talk to each other until we drop Alice at her house and I waved her goodbye.

**Author POV*

Darian sat at a coner as he watch her enter her car her can predict how sexy she look if only she wasn't wearing that baggy blue trouser that covered her shape. His mate wasn't ugly after all but she is not the he is looking for in his mate. He needs a female who will be very strong to lead his pack with him because of the problem his pack members are passing through, he needs someone that can help them get over their painful past not some weak human like her.

His wolf was angry at him after he humiliate their mate and her friend in front of the students asking her to lick his feet but he doesn't care about that and he don't give a f*ck about it besides she can never be his mate he is not going to accept her because she is not the type of person he was expecting to be his mate, a human after waiting for this long only for him to be mated to the species he has so much hatred for the people that caused all the problems his pack are passing through the same people that caused the death of his mother. He was only here to find out the place his father and some of his pack are kept by those that came to attack his pack several years ago and he have been restless searching for them. He is not Andy he only turned himself into the bad boy identity that is one of his super natural power has the Alpha.

Darian walk towards the class where he had locked the real Andy after changing into his identity. He opened the and remove the white handkerchief from his mouth and untied him.

"You are free to I am done with you" he said to Andy who was trembling in fear a fake smile on his face.

Immediately he untie him Andy quickly rush past him but he was fast to grab him on his shoulder as he drag him back.

"Good boy" Darian smirk. "And.....never you lay a hand on Aria or even go close to her I am watching you" he said pointing a finger at him before he let him go and immediately Andy ran ofg in fear.

How Darian manage to tie him down was a big surprise to him.

Darian walk deep into the wood as he change into his wolf form a big black-brown wolf.he howled in a loud voice as he run with a fast speed back to his pack, his home which was behind the closed door and far away from the human world.
