The Alpha's Beloved Human Mate

"You burned my hand!" Alexia, Letitia's younger sister yelled and then slap her cheeks so hard making her fall to the ground. She was stunned after her sister slaps her cheek, she stared at the emptiness but when she heard her father's voice she immediately stands up and tried to explain everything that happened.

"What did you do to Alexia!" She was startled and shaken when she heard her father's voice. She was afraid that her father might hit her once more, the bruises that she had now is enough for her. She doesn't want her father will hit her again.

"It was an accident, dad. I didn't mean it, really," Letitia explained to him but all she received was a hard slap came from her father making her eyes widen and close it trying not to cry in front of him.

"What happened?" Letitia's mother appeared in front of them and looks at Alexia crying while holding her hand. Letitia's mother was shocked at what she saw. "Darling! What happened? Who did this to you!?" Her mother shouted and turn her gaze to Letitia.

"Mom, it was all an accident, please believe me," Letitia begs but her mother just yelled and throw the pillows from the couch at her.

"You did this intentionally! How dare you hurt my daughter!" Her mother yelled and walk closer to her and pulled her hair, driving her out of the living room making her moan in pain.

"Mom, it hurts," Letitia cried while holding her mom's hand from pulling out her hair but her mother didn't even have a little bit of sympathy for her. She throw her outside of their house making her fall to the ground and got another bruise on her knees and elbow. They lock her and didn't let her inside.

"You're not allowed to head inside of this house until morning!" Her mother shouts making Letitia cry even more. She run around the house trying to find a door to open but all of them were close. She bangs the door many times and shouts.

"Mom, Dad, let me in, please!" Letitia shouts and still trying to open the door. Their maids close the window and one of them looks at her with pity but still decided to close the door and didn't talk to her.

Letitia was feel hopeless. She was used to this kind of scene but she knew to herself that she had enough. She can't take what her parents and sister did to her even though she did not make any mistake even once. She misses her grandparents, the only people who loved her and treated her as their grandchild. But sadly, both of them were passed away.

She just plunked down beside the door. A strong wind touches Letitia's skin making her shiver because of the cold. The rain started to fall as if the sky were crying with her. She cried in silence for her parents not to hear her. She cried and cried and every time she cried, the rain became stronger until her eyes told her to sleep.

In the morning, her sister kicks her making her roll on the ground. There was a scratch on her face once again and saw Alexia looking at her grinning. She stands up while looking at the ground and touches her arms.

"Pack all of your things right now, you will be having a vacation, isn't that fun?" Alexia said while giggling. Letitia's eyes widen after she heard what her sister saying. For her, having a vacation away from her family is great. She won't receive any hard slap coming from her father.

"Hey! What are you doing!? Head inside and take a bath! I am excited to see you off in this house!" Alexia shouted and walks away saying 'hmp'. One of their maids appeared in front of her and bowed at her. Letitia didn't expect that there is still one maid who treats her as a Salvatore.

"Madam Letitia, I already prepared your bath," the maid said. Letitia slowly takes a step to head inside but she can't keep her balance. She was exhausted. She feels so empty. The maid accompanies her in walking making her smile bitterly.

After she takes a bath, she chooses black pants and a gray shirt to wear. She tied up her hair into a ponytail and bring all the things she had, even the things that her grandfather gave her. While she was walking downstairs, the maid who accompany her earlier appeared in front of her once again.

"Madam Letitia, your parents wanted to see you in the living room," the maid said and Letitia nods shortly. She bring down the things and walk to the living room and saw her parents talking seriously. When they notice her existence, their eyes were staring at her making Letitia feel uncomfortable.

"We will bring you to the hometown where your grandparents once live," her mother said. Letitia just looks at the ground and didn't say anything.

"We will give you a 5,000 allowance and that allowance will be enough for you in four months," her father said looking at her but still Letitia didn't speak. "Quickly drive her away from me, get her in the car and tell Tonio to bring her to that house!" her father shouts and Letitia just walks away from them.

"That kid is crazy." Letitia was thorn into pieces after she heard what her mother said to her. She just shook her head and take her things and ready to walk to their garage. There she saw Tonio, their driver.

Tonio just smiled at her and gestured that she can get in the car. Letitia get in and Tonio started the engine and drive. It will take 2 hours before Letitia will arrived at her grandparent's house.

The car halted when they finally reached the house. Letitia gets out of the car and looks at Tonio when he suddenly speaks.

"Take care of yourself there, Don Cail told me before that there are monsters lurking in the forest. Make sure not to go there, remember what I said," Tonio warned her and Letitia just smiled bitterly. Tonio then drive away and left her.

Letitia walks slowly and reminisces the past when she was three years old when her grandparents are still alive. She used to play with her grandmother and bake some cookies with her. Letitia breathed heavily and smiled shortly. She open the door and saw the house dirty.

She put the box with her things on the couch. She decided to clean the house and re-arrange the things. Letitia took eight hours just by cleaning the whole house and re-arranged the things that her grandparents had left.

After cleaning, she decided to shop for food to eat for the whole month. She spent the one thousand of her allowance and immediately walk to go back home. While she was walking, she turn her gaze at the forest beside her. She remembered what Tonio has said to her, but as she gazed at the forest it feels like there is something in her that she needed to go there but she controlled herself not to go. She remembered what Tonio had told her earlier.

When she finally came back home, he take a deep breath again and look around the house.

"The house is clean and quiet. I hope I can stay here forever," she murmured to herself and placed the foods in the cabinet and the refrigerator.

Letitia was living peacefully for days in her grandparent's house. Her parents didn't even contact her about how she was doing, Letitia decided not to think about her parents anymore. She wanted to become independent and forget about the past that she had with her parents. She decided to find work to sustain her everyday needs and wants. Since her grandparent's house was near the city, she can just walk there and find something to work.

A few days had passed, and Letitia was lucky to find herself a job. A simple job but enough for her to buy food and to pay her bills. While walking on a quiet road, she was astounded when a man suddenly blocks her way making her perplexed. The man was keeping on staring at her face, he had this handsome face, tanned skin, raging deep purple eyes, and black hair. Letitia just shook her head and continued walking.

The man kept on staring at her trying to keep his mouth shut but the scent is stronger and wanted him to shout. He cannot believe that his mate is a mere human, a pure human. He waited for years and the moon goddess just gave him a human mate? For him, it is really absurd. A dangerous and strong alpha that will only be mated to a weak human with not even a little bit of werewolf blood.

Even though Letitia was a distance away from him, he can still smell the scent that Letitia had. He cannot hold it any longer and finally let out the word that he was keeping in his mouth. "Mate."

Letitia stops after what she heard and turned around to face him. He can see Letitia's confused face, her eyes were sparkling and for the alpha, it was the most beautiful eyes that he had ever seen. He has been staring at her for a while but this time he felt different. As if there is something was trying to tell him to take her.

Unfortunately, Letitia just slowly walks backward and then walks faster away from him. Letitia was thinking that he might be some of the people here who kill people without reason. That's what she heard while working in her workplace.

After finishing her work, Letitia went home early, fearing that the man who had been staring at her a few days before would appear in front of her again. When she got home, she immediately locked the door and sighed deeply.

She went to her kitchen to cook her dinner and open the television. Right after she open the T. V., she suddenly heard the new news about her family that they said their eldest daughter has died because of the accident. The plate that she was holding dropped down and broke because of shock. That means her family will no longer send her money and just let her die.

Her tears drop down to her cheeks, she immediately wipes them with her hands and laughs softly. "Let them be, Letitia. They don't care about you anymore, you only have yourself so be strong! " she said to herself and immediately pick the broken plate and put it in the trash can.

She ate dinner first and took a half bath before deciding to sleep in her grandparents' room and crying in silence because of the pain she was experiencing. She promised herself that this would be her last cry about her family and that she would concentrate solely on her life and not on theirs. Letitia's eyes closed and she fell asleep after a few hours.

A stranger entered her room while she was sleeping. Because she was tired and crying, Letitia forgot to shut the window. The stranger pointed the gun at her, but her senses were sharp, and she immediately stood up and threw the lamp at the stranger then kick his stomach, causing him to groan in pain. She rushed outside and shut the door behind her.

She ran outside without even putting on her slippers, only to be met by another person brandishing a gun at her. She raises her hand, and the sound of her heartbeat can be heard. Letitia is at a loss as to what to do; she can no longer escape to the city to request help. She may be capable of self-defense, but she was terrified of the gun and its loud noise. Her father's treatment of her in the past comes to mind.

"W-who told you to come here?" "Letitia stammered, but the man in front of him did not respond to her question. She heard footsteps behind her back, and when she turned around, she saw the stranger who had entered her room.

She looks around and sees no way out; if she runs towards the city, the two people can chase her down with their car. She has no choice but to run and hide among the forest's trees and bushes. She dashed into the woods, where she heard the two men yelling at her to come back.

Letitia just kept running until she stepped on a stone, which caused her to lose her balance and fall to the ground. She quickly picked herself up and continued to run, but one man hit her two legs, causing her to groan in pain.

"Don't move so we can kill you," one man says seriously to her pointing a gun on her head. Letitia saw a branch near her and throws a it at the two people, but they both just laugh at her. She was crawling behind to escape the two, she cannot help herself up cause by her two legs.

She did her very best to escape but one man steps her legs making her cry even more. Then one man began to shoot his gun, but before the bullet could hit her head, another stranger took her quickly and took her out of the place.

He bring down her on the ground carefully and let out a scythe and throw to two men holding guns making their heads to cut. Letitia's eyes widen and covered her mouth. The stranger man covered his face with a mask and turn around to face Letitia. She wanted to thank him for saving her life but the man's stare were cold as ice. She choose to shut her mouth until the man was now standing in front of her.

In a blink of an eye, the man smack her in the neck making Letitia unconscious and lay on the ground. The stranger carry her body to the middle of the forest without speaking looking in front of him seriously.

Letitia wake up in an unfamiliar room. She tried to recall what happened to her and remembered that there were two men trying to kill her. She suspecting that it might be her parents hiring two assassins to kill her. She clenches her fist and wanted to scream but she chooses not to.

She tried to stand and suddenly remembered that her two legs were hit by a gun. She take a look and the wounds leave another scar on her legs, she looks at the mirror beside the door and look at her face. The scar she had in her face is not that big but it really ruined her face in her parents eyes.

She take a step back when she hear someone was coming and suddenly opened the door. Showing two men looking at her, her eyes widened when she saw the man again who had been staring at her few days ago.

"A-are you the one who help me?" Letitia ask the man but he just walk closer to her. He then smell her neck and shoulders making her uncomfortable. She slaps his cheeks making the man behind him quickly interjected and growl, Letitia step back again.

"No, Scott. Stop it," the man speaks and touches his face and looks at Letitia once again. Letitia's face was confused looking at him. "What's your name?" he added.

"How dare you to ask me that when you didn't even say sorry to what you did to me," Letitia speaks with her brows met. "Step back, I needed to get out," she added but the two men eyes were scaring her. It was as if for her they won't hesitate to kill her.

"Who are you? What is your name?" Letitia keep on asking him but Scott was the one who replied to her question.

"He is Alpha Arther, be careful of your words, darling. You just can't speak to him casually," Scott said.

"Alpha? What alpha?" Letitia's face was even more confused after she heard that word.

"You need to rest," Alpha Arther said and take a step to leave her in the room but she wanted to get out as well. Alpha Arther immediately block her way from getting out the door using his one hand which made her eyebrow raise.

"What are you doing? Let me out!" she exclaimed but Alpha Arther just keep on staring at her eyes. He don't know why but for him, Letitia's eyes were so beautiful. He can't take his eyes off on her, he immediately shook his head and closes his eyes for a moment and speaks.

"I am not letting you out of this room, it will be dangerous for you. I heard the news about your family, I know all about you," Alpha Arther said which made Letitia's eyes widen. She looks away and turn her gaze at the window, she was thinking how could Arther know about her. That she is the daughter of both famous actor and model. "Stay in my territory for a while," Arther added making Letitia looks at him once more.

"I don't have even one penny to pay you, I cannot stay here," she replied.

Arther replied immediately. "You don't have to pay me." Letitia's eyes widen for a moment and her face started ro wrinkled because of annoyance.

"I don't know what are you planning to do, you want me? A stranger to live in this room?" she ask him while pointing herself and then look on her legs. She wanted to ask question regarding the scar she had in her legs but she chooses not to. She just bit her lower up and raises her head when Scott interjected.

"You ask too many questions," Scott speaks while looking at her with his intimidating eyes. She suddenly remember the man who saved her yesterday and killed the two assassins by cutting off their heads. Letitia just shut her mouth and didn't ask another questions anymore.

"Just stay here and don't leave. I will ask another maid to gave you a tray of food. There are things I still need to do," Arther said and leave her alone in the room. Before could Scott leave and follow the Alpha, he looks at Letitia again and closes the door.

Letitia plunked down after she talks with the two men. She don't know what will happen to her life anymore, she touches her forehead and stared on the ground. She was thinking that maybe the two men are simply planning to do something bad to her sooner or later.

She wanted to leave but she was too scared to move out in the room because of Scott and the Alpha's intimidating eyes. And, even though she can escape here, there's no place she can go. The moment her parents knew that she's still alive, they will bring more assassins to her house to kill her.

She then recall the word Alpha in her mind, when her grandparents were alive they used to mention that word to her. She didn't think that her grandpa's stories were all true, that werewolves live with them. And there, she met an Alpha for the first time of her life.

Two weeks have passed, Letitia has been thinking whether she will escape or not from Arther. She heard rumors about him that he is the most dangerous wolf among wolves in the forest, hearing on what the maid has said to her is very alarming for her.

She knew that the forest she's staying was protected by the moon goddess and that whoever will try to enter the forest can't escape, unless a werewolf will help them. The forest was covered by a magical mist for the werewolves be protected by humans. It is a very large forest that ruled by King Alpha with three noble packs that are loyal to the King Alpha. One is the King Alpha's sword, one is King Alpha's shield and one is his guardians.

Letitia just deeply sigh and sit on the chair. "My life is getting harder everyday," she murmured to herself and touches her forehead.

"Why you say so, miss Letitia?" a woman the same age as her suddenly appeared from the window smiling at her. Letitia was startled after she appeared behind her.

"Noelle!" Letitia shouts making Noelle giggled. She is the maid that Arther give to her to help her from anything. Only her, Scott and Arther knows that she was staying at the Cruel Claws pack territory. In just a day, Noelle started to like Letitia because of her characteristics as well as her beautiful face.

"I miss you, miss Letitia!" Noelle exclaimed and hug Letitia in the neck which made her eyes widen.

"I already told you to just call me by my name," Letitia said glancing on Noelle behind her. Noelle free her from her hug and head inside the room from the window. Letitia has been staying in a small house made of wood away from the village where Arther's people has staying.

Arther's pack was belong to the forest of Rasleton where in the whole forest there live three strongest packs. The currently King Alpha of Rasleton forest was Daelous Rasleton, a former crown prince but since his father died he took the crown and the throne. He live with his mate, Queen Tiana but they not bore any child. All people in the Rasleton knew that King Alpha doesn't have any affection towards his queen.

"I don't wanna," Noelle replied and leaned her back from the wall. "Anyway, I am still confused why Alpha Arther wanted to stay you here. Your beautiful face and heart is not a valid reason for letting you to stay here, I wonder?" Noelle added and crossed her arms.

"I-I don't know either," Letitia replied and looks at the ground. She suddenly shivers and speaks. "I am kinda afraid to your Alpha. His eyes were scary and also that Scott person, brr."

Noelle just laugh at her which made Letitia looks at her annoyingly. "The Alpha won't kill you, seeing you in a whole body and even giving you a maid is a sign that you're important to him," Noelle said. Letitia just let out a heavy sigh.

"Anyways, are you hungry? I'll bring your lunch here," Noelle added and ready to get out again through the window when she suddenly felt someone was coming towards the small house.

"Why?" Letitia ask her confusedly and walk closer to Noelle but Noelle grabs her hand to escape from the small house which made Letitia's forehead knitted in confusion.

"Ride on my back quickly, miss Letitia," Noelle said and immediately transform herself into a wolf which made Letitia surprised. Noelle move her head giving a sign to Letitia to ride on her back that Letitia followed her immediately.

They are now running at the forest to go to Alpha Arther to ask for help. Noelle alone cannot defeat the five wolves that were following them especially that she's only a mere maid, she knew that the wolves who followed them belong to the other pack in the Rasleton forest. They might knew that a human was staying in their forest which is forbidden.

Letitia turned around and saw the five wolves staring at her. Their eyes scared her, so she just looked in their path and shook her head. Noelle just kept running until a wolf appeared in front of them and quickly transformed into a human. He kicks Noelle, causing them to fall to the ground.

"Ughh," Letitia moaned in pain and touched her head when it collided with a tree. She was surprised to see blood on her hand after touching her head. The man in front of them was holding Noelle's neck, making it difficult for her to breathe. "Noelle!" Letitia exclaims.

Alpha Arther, on the other hand, he was looking at the papers in frong of him when he suddenly heard Letitia's voice and turned around. "What happened, Alpha?" Scott asked when he noticed his Alpha was not looking at the papers in front of him. He dashed to the location where he heard Letitia's voice and left Scott alone.

The man threw Noelle to the ground with strong force and dashed towards Letitia, holding her neck and making it difficult for her to breathe. "What are you doing here, human?" his thick and frightening voice made Letitia shiver. She noticed his eyes locked on her. She wanted to say something, but she couldn't because the man was clutching her neck tightly.

Noelle had already noticed Letitia's body slowly turning violet. She wanted to stand up, but she didn't have any energy left in her body, and she noticed Letitia's tears dripping down her cheeks. Fortunately, Arther quickly kicks the guy after noticing Letitia's body floating. The man was pushed away from the area, and Arther moved quickly toward Letitia when he saw her fainted and fell to the ground. He also saw the blood on her head which made her furious but still controling his anger.

He carried her in his arms. When someone suddenly claps his hand, he moves his gaze to his back. It was Beta Arson from the other pack, the Imperial Howlers, whose pack was King Alpha Daelous' shield. Their pack was full of powerful werewolves, but no one could match the members of the Cruel Claws pack, which was led by Alpha Arther.

"I wonder why you keep that tiny human here, Alpha Arther?" Beta Arson asks, looking at the unconscious Letitia. "You know it's forbidden to bring humans here at Rasleton–," Beta Arson was about to say again when Alpha Arther cut him off.

"She's my mate, and if you dare to touch her again, I won't hesitate to k*ll all of you! Even you dare to step foot on my territory!" The entire place could hear Arther's terrifying voice. When he became enraged, their body hair rose as they sensed its scary and dark aura. Her dark purple eyes terrified them, and none of them dared to move for fear of having their heads severed in an instant.

All werewolf in that place was surprise after they learn that one of the werewolves, a ferocious and strong werewolf has mated with a human, a mere human.
