she woke up shocked by what she just saw, she couldn't believe it, no matter how hard she try to put the pieces together, she just doesn't understand what is happening. ' why is this happening now, No this can't be, the world they ancestors spent years building and the peace they were maintaining with so much sacrifices, can't just be coming to an end now. she has to do something immediately, lest the peaceful days will be gone.

shehurried down the stairs and rushed into the car and zoomed off to the Alpha's palace, she couldn't afford to waste one more minute here on a serious issue like this, she just hope the king will listen to her and take her words seriously despite what happened between them last night. When she got to the palace walls, she could already feel the presence of the elders in the throne room without even seeing them because of her spiritual power. She rushed into the throne room and met the elders in an heated argument with the king ( alpha). They all bowed to her when they noticed her presence as sign of respect for the high priestess, while the king just glared icilily, she bowed to the king who has a dark expression on his face that could scare and chase people away from him, but definitely not her, he turned away from her when he noticed her bow, she didn't wait for him to reply nor say anything, she went straight to the point,

" your majesty".

The king finally looked at her direction with a gaze that could make someone melt in fear, he frowned when he noticed the seriousness in her voice.

" we are about to be attacked by the vampires and rogues, they are preparing to stage a war on us, they are planning to destroy this kingdom and they are also planning to form an alliance with the witches, though I doubt they would agree".

She knew telling him this now is not a good idea, but she has no choice but to say it, because there is no time, what she saw in her vision is rather troublesome, its a given that they are more powerful but if those forces join together, then, they wouldn't be so sure of their victory. And as expected, the king anger intestified when he heard her say they will be destroyed, but she continued nevertheless.

" I saw a very disturbing vision, in my vision, the rogues formed and alliance with the vampires and now the vampires are planning to go to the witches to form an alliance with them so that they can eliminate us and take over this kingdom".

After speaking, she looked straight into the king eyes to gauge his expression and as expected, his face changed after hearing what he said, the aura surrounding him suddenly felt suffocating.

" What do you mean"

he asked her angrily, when she was about speaking her interrupted her.

" If they want to attack my kingdom, they should first check if they have the ability, why do you keep emphasizing on the part of being destroyed, do you think they can destroy my kingdom easily or did you think am stupid or that am not powerful enough."

he barrated.

" your majesty, what are you saying, I can never doubt your authority, you...."

" Really, so what are you doing now"

He interrupted me halfway, clearly irritated.

"Cough ... Cough..., Your majesty, I think we should focus on this matter, I know you are powerful, but we need to come up with a plan, with the combined attack of the vampires and rogues, I don't think it is a small matter, we have to start planning before they sneak an attack on us, when we are not prepared."

Elder Zeus, the prime minister spoke.

" That is impossible, they don't have the guts to do this, I don't believe those rogues will dare go against His majesty, unless they are being backed by a more powerful source and other than us I don't think anyone is more powerful than us, unless the Munezine Monsters, and that's more impossible because they swore an oath with heaven not to intervene in our matters unless necessary."

Elder Wiyot rebuked him.

" I also Don' t think the rogues have the guts to do this, I think its the new king of the vampires, Clearly he is a very manipulative man and love to use people , so I won't put it past him, he must have gone to meet the rogues to form a foolish alliance."

Elder Brian replied him.

"The new king of vampires ? When did the vampires have a new king, where is the former king."

Elder Zeus asked surprised by the news.

" The previous Vampire king was killed by his brother who is now the new king and also he was the former prime minister of the kingdom, he had Always had his eye on the throne and when he got the opportunity, he staged a revolt and dethroned the former king, the very next day was his coronation, he was crowned the king of vampires and that was the day he killed his brother and family publicly."

Elder Brian replied .

"What ruthlessness, his brother that had always trusted him to the extent of placing him in that position, yet he is not satisfied and killed him. that's the highest form of ruthlessness i have ever heard."

Elder Zeus said, I saw that another elder wanted to say something again concerning the death of the vampire king and I immediately interrupted him, before he could say anything.

"I don't think now is the time to be discussing about the death of the vampire king, they are the ones attacking us, we can save our story for later, right now what we should be doing is to be coming up with a plan for the upcoming war."

The king stared at me for a long time, after I finished talking and suddenly said.

" I need to speak with you privately."

I was taken aback by his request to speak with me in private.

" am sorry your majesty, but you can say whatever you want to say here, we should decide on this together, we have to come up with a solution befall the full moon, because that is when they are attacking us. Else, it will be too late.

I answered him.

" you dare defile my order, do you think I don't know what am doing, or do you think I don't care about my people what is wrong with you all, do you all take me for granted."

Everybody was shocked, when the king suddenly said that, including me, I was shocked to my bones. ' did he just say, he have a solution to this.'

The elders exchanged looks of douth, even she was surprised by his response, she didn't expect him to suddenly say that, is he being serious right now cause she is beginning to douth his sanity, what on earth is he thinking of doing right now, she decided to follow him to talk privately as he said before he spouts out more unexplainable things from his mouth.

" your majesty, we can go now, please".

" good, I thought you were too busy to go out, is good that you reconsidered".

He replied sarcastically, and turned to the elder.

" the meeting is over, I will let you know what my decision is after the chat with the witch."

My face darkened after I heard what he said, he knows I hate being called a witch, but he always does that just to see my annoyed expression. I glared at him angrily, and he smirks enjoying or should I say happy at my annoyed expression.

" yes your majesty, we shall depart and wait for your decision, we are in no rush".

The elders responded reluctantly, they wanted to be part of the discussion so badly but they have no choice but to leave, when they were still contemplating whether to keep pursading his majesty to let them stay, a royal guard suddenly bartender in.

" hail to the great king."

The royal guard called max saluted and informed the king.

" Your majesty, Princess Brianna request an audience".

"Not now, am in no mood to respond to her, Tell her to leave, I will come to her chamber to see her later after am done here, we are in the center of a very important discussion regarding the welfare of this kingdom and wouldn't do any good if she just barged in like that."

......the elders were dumfounded, the king has never outrightly reject granting his younger sister an audience no matter the kind of heated discussion they were discussing, he always leaves whatever his is doing whenever his sister is looking for him. They couldn't help but wonder what came over the king, they were so sure it is not about the news the priestess brought this morning because they have had worst cases, so what's happening, not only that the king has been acting strange since the beginning of the meeting, the way he talks suddenly changed overnight, they didn't know what made him this way, now they thought about it, it should be last night when he went outside the kingdom together with the high priestess, at the thought of it, they all turned towards the high priestess for explanation for his majesty sudden change of attitude since she was the last person that was with him.

She rolled her eye inwardly, she wasn't affected by their curious gaze, she ignored them and stared straight into his eyes, she knew what made him like this, but she is not gonna spill it now, not until they discussed it properly, she wondered why he can't just accept it, is she that irritating. At the thought of it, she signed inwardly.' I really need to get this out of my Head'. She was still lost in thought, when the king authoritative, yet charming voice broke her out of her trance state.

"What are you still doing here, didn't you hear what I just said, or do you want me to say it in another way".

The alpha glared dangerously at the guard who was already trembling on the floor.

He stammered out of fear for what the alpha just said, nobody wants to be at the receiving end of his rage.

The alpha asked with threat laced with his voice,

I saw that the guard was lost for words and I decided to intervene.

" Your majesty, I don't think we have the time for this, I suggest you calm down, please"

"Calm down? Okay. After calming down, what do you suggest I do, dear witch, since you are so intelligent".

He replied back at me, I stared at him furiously, unable to refute.

"Have it gotten to the point where you no longer take me serious again, am the f**king alpha, not you, whatever I say stands."

After venting out at me, he turned to the max (the guard) who was already trembling on the floor under his furious gaze.

"Leave now before I separate your neck from your body".

After speaking, the royal guard left hurriedly, thanking the moon goddess for saving him from the angry wolf king, before he remembered something, then he turned back and kept on the floor. She understood him, he was the princess personal guard so the princess must have threatened him not to come back without the king accepting to see her, but what she couldn't understand is why the alpha was this angry, his words just now shocked both her and the elders, what came over him, her thoughts lingered on what transpired between them last night last night and she frowned, she decided not to think about it before she succumbs to the sadness that is about covering her, she thought of it and said,

Came his resounding, but short reply. No, 'did he just say no to her in the presence of the elders, she was utterly speechless, she eyed him, giving him a signal, 'are we doing this now....' She don't know what to do anymore, As she just watched him.

"Emm...., your majesty, we have to leave now, we still haven't done our discussion, of course that will be if you don't mind."

She glared at him telling him to follow her, but the king looked past her to the guard who was trembling non stop on the floor,he frowned, thinking how a weakling got to be his sister personal guard, he Will have to change him.

"Guild the princess in , let's hear what she have to say ."

"Yes your majesty"

The guard hurriedly left before the king decides to change his mind. Not long after he left to inform the princess of the King's order, the princess walked in, she is an epitome of beauty, she was like a character found in fairytale, wherever she goes, she managed to attract attention of everybody there. Some of the elders were gawking at her with an unnatural way in a rather trance state, and she seem to be uncomfortable with their stares.

On noticing her discomfort, the king gowled, angry at them for looking at her that way.

"Get your old perverted eyes off my sister before I plug them out myself".

He warned angrily. On getting to the throne, Princess Brianna bowed to the king, who in turn was looking at her with fondness and love in his eyes, he different from the person who spoke earlier, it was as if it wasn't him, that's not surprising because the whole kingdom knows how the king cherishes and love his sister, she is his only surviving family afterall, he is always over protective of her, he doesn't take it likely with anybody that makes her unhappy.

" What is the matter with you Jewel"

Even the tone he uses to addresses her is so affectionate and full of fondness,

"I want to go outside the palace, I have been locked in here for too long, I want to go outside"

Princess Brianna said and started sobbing immediately, and that's one thing the king can't bear, seeing her cry, its like his worst nightmares, she knew that why the princess decided to use this tactics and as expected he agreed, ruluctantly though.

"Alright you can go, but if the incident that happened last time repeat itself again....., you won't be going out again until you turn eighteen."

"Yes your majesty, naturally I know what to do"

She replied happily and walked out of the throne room.

"Don't make a fuss about the guards following you or you can forget about going out."

The king told her, as she was about to step of the throne room. She poured and nodded her head.

"Alright, I promise."

She replied happily and ran out before the king qould call her again and give her another condition. I laghed at her naughtiness and then I saw a flash of light and the surrounding changed, I was in the middle of a beautiful rose garden, it was a sight to behold and then again the surrounding changed, she was now near the dark forest at the back of the palace, I didn't panick because this is not the first time this is happening. I turned around searching for anything or a clue as you why I was brought here, I didn't see anything so I began thinking if this is a divination, i was about closing my eyes to chant some incantation to return to the current time I was in the palace, it was then I saw something that sent chills over my body, I saw a munezine monster smiling happily at someone, a rare smile indeed, they never smile at anybody, this is my first time seeing a monster smile, I turned to see who he is smiling happily at and I saw the princess waving and smiling widely till her eyes couldnt be seen at him, I was shocked to the core and my expression turned grave, what is happening, what is the princess doing with a munezine monster, i wanted to go grab her but the environment suddenly changed and I was in front of the throne again.

"High priestess, High Priestess,high priestess,".

The voice of the elders calling my name repeatedly brought me out of my trance state. I looked at them who were looking at me with a worried expression on their faces, I turned to look at the king who just stared back at me.

" are you okay, Catori"

Mato (the alpha beta) asked with concern.

"She is seeing them".

He looked back at me confused by my choice of words.

"Who is seeing whom"

"The princess"

"Who is she seeing"

This time it was the king that asked at the mention of the princess.

" The princess is seeing a munezime monster"

"What"

"What"

Both the king and the elders shouted at the same time with voices that is laced with shock and panic.

"What do you mean"

Beta Mato asked.

"Just now, I wanted an illusional vision, I saw the princess with a munezine monster, she was smiling at him happily, they seem like they are in love".

"That's impossible, the princess can't possibly have contact with them"

Before I could say anything, Elder Wiyot agitated voice sounded, he was one of the elders who were head over heels in love with the princess and hoping to marry her.
