The Alpha King Unwanted Mate

Author: : Vicky Perry
Genre: Werewolf
"She didn't transform! Everyone was transforming, except her!" "She's a Stealer, and she doesn't have a wolf!" My destiny took a dark turn on the night of the awakening. I was an adopted daughter and have always been maltreated by my parents and elder sister, Maya. All I wanted was to turn 18 and live an independent life with my dear soon-to-be mate, Arthur, far from the clutches of my family. However, on my 18th birthday, I discovered my despicable nature as a 'Stealer,' a scent luring widowed and lone werewolves to mate with me. What's more, there was no wolf appeared in me. Knowing this, Arthur swiftly renounced our bond, selling me to the formidable Alpha Wolfe in exchange for something valuable. But when Wolfe first met me in the dungeon and perceived my scent, he could feel his wolf panicking and howling. It was the scent of his fated mate! But why did Maya also have the same scent? Sisters may share the same scent, but we were just adoptive sisters. Something was amiss. Despite the potential bond, Alpha Wolfe had ulterior motives, refusing to acknowledge me as his mate, regardless of our shared destiny."

Chapter 1 Luna To Be

Julia POV

I slumped on my bed lazily and yawned loudly due to hunger and tiredness. I have been very busy since the beginning of today doing all the work in the house alone like a slave.

My father is the Beta of our pack, and I'm his second daughter, but he always treated me like an outcast, as if I was not part of the family. Well, that is how life has been since I was a little girl.

Turning to my right, I saw my food on the table and my stomach made a rumbling sound, a sign that I was hungry.

I quickly stood up from my little bed and I sat down on the floor. I opened the plate of food and my face turned into a deep frown when I saw what was inside. It is leftover food from all the members of my family.

But anyway, I am too hungry to reject it. That is how they always gave me leftover food.

I feast on the food hungrily, taking a spoonful at a go. I can only join my family at the dining table whenever we're having visitors. But on a normal day, I was always given food like a slave here in my tiny room.

A few minutes later, I was done eating. I needed to take a bath and have some rest after a long, stressful day of cleaning and washing.

I took off my shirt and was about to remove my boy's shorts when suddenly I heard a loud banging noise at my door.

I wanted to scream and insult the person for disturbing my only leisure time, when suddenly it dawned on me that it could either be my parents or my crazy sister.

"Who is there?" I asked, turning my head towards the door.

Silence settled over the room as I clutched the edge of my shorts, waiting in fearful anticipation as I remained still. Then, I heard the unmistakable rattle of the doorknob, as if someone were attempting to force their way into my room. A surge of panic overtook me as I recognized the manner of the shaking - it was my sister, Maya. She was the only one who ever barged into my room as if she owned the place.

"Open this dam f*cking door!" She yelled from outside, still hitting the door loudly.

"Did you have no courtesy in you?" I yelled at her, wearing back my top as I hissed loudly.

I walked towards the door angrily, and I flung it open, revealing my sister, who was glaring hard at me.

My eyes traveled down her body, and a grin crept to my face when I noticed the body-exposed clothes she was putting on. That's what she always does, dressing like a slut.

"What did you want?" I snapped angrily at her, still standing at the entrance of my door, one of my hands relaxing on the door blocking her from coming in.

"Take this and wash." She threw some of her clothes at my face, glaring hard at me.

"I am not washing this.'' I threw the clothes back at her, but it landed on the floor. How could she be this wicked? I just finished doing the laundry for all the family members. My body was aching due to the stress I went through and here she was giving me another set of clothes after I was done washing all her clothes earlier.

"Are you disobeying the order of your elder sister, a Luna-to-be?" She yelled at me furiously, throwing me a dagger stare.

I was about to say something to her when I saw my mom walking towards our direction.

Great, just great, things are about to get complicated now.

"Maya, what is going on here?" My mom asked, walking closer to Maya, who was foaming in anger.

"This b*tch over here is the problem, Mom." She pointed an accusing finger at me, while my mother narrowed her eyes towards me, giving me a killer look.

"What has she done this time?" My Mom asked, facing her precious daughter.

"I gave my clothes to wash, and she threw it on the floor."

"Is that so, Julia?" My mom narrowed her eyes back to my direction. This time, she was staring at me like I had done something forbidden. Yes, I just disobeyed the stupid order of their so-called princess.

I swallowed hard, trying to find the best way to make her understand me. "I was trying to..." Before I could complete my statement, a hard slap landed on my face and my Mom was standing close to me, her eyes staring at me in disgust and anger.

"How dare you go against the order of your Luna-to-be!" My mother yelled, her face contorted in rage. "You are supposed to do whatever she asks of you without questioning, you're supposed to worship her!" My mom yelled at me, glaring at me with such malice that it felt like a knife in my heart.

She keeps bragging about being the Luna of the Black Moon Pack when she is yet to be mated to the Alpha King.

"Now, pick those clothes and go wash them," Maya commanded, her tone harsh and commanding. I felt her gaze upon me, sharp as knives, and I knew I had lost to her.

I remained silent as I watched them. A part of me wanted to yell at both of them and disobey their order, but another part of me calmed down when I remembered the punishment I would have to face if my father should get involved in this.

Without saying any more words, I pick up the scattered clothes on the floor and dash out of their presence in anger. It is better that I avoid trouble today. I have gone through enough stress already.

A few minutes after I was done washing Maya's clothes, I went back to my room, looking very tired and exhausted. The only thing I needed right now was enough rest.

I lay on my bed, my head facing the ceiling, as my mind drifted about my life.

I have been having a tough time with my family. All I want now is to clock eighteen and leave an independent life away from my family.

I was about to close my eyes slowly for sleep to take over me when suddenly I heard a loud scream from outside, that was the voice of my sister, Maya. I quickly stood up from my bed when I heard the sound of her footsteps coming nearer from afar.

Suddenly, the door to my room flung open. I quickly raised my head up and my eyes landed on Maya who was standing at the entrance of my door looking very angry.

"What do you want from me now?" I asked, standing up from my bed in annoyance as I walked towards her. I won't permit anyone to disturb my peace again. I have taken enough of her ill-treatment.

"My necklace, you stole it," she yelled at my face, giving me a stern look, her wicked look burning deep into my skin.

At first, I was quiet and confused.

What did she mean that I stole her necklace? I have been working and busy since the beginning of today and haven't entered her room.

"Maya I know you are always picking at me, please I am too tired for this," I mumbled under my breath walking back to my bed, but before I could take a few steps away from her, she was already at my front foaming in anger, her two hands on her waist one of her legs was stepped forward tapping on the floor continuously.

"You're not going to rest until you bring back my necklace." She snapped, blocking my way.

I hissed and tried to follow another direction, but she pushed me on my chest preventing me from going further and the next thing that followed was a hard slap on my face.

Maya just slapped me! How dare she?

The sound of the slap was very loud, making it seem like time stopped for a while as everywhere went silent. I was furious, I received a slap from my mom because of this bitch, and now she got the gut to slap me.

In a blur of fury, I grabbed her by her hair and dragged her across the room. She fought and struggled against me, but I was relentless, fueled by a whirlwind of rage. I landed several blows on her face, followed by a hard slap that sent her reeling backward. She fell to the floor with a thud, clutching her face and whimpering in pain.

"I am not your slave Maya, don't ever dare to hit me again, ever in your life!" I warned her, my face contorted with rage, my red eyes pinned on her.

"Father is going to hear about this." She threatened me and dashed out of my room, her hand holding her bleeding nose. That serves her right for treating me badly.

Maya is my sister but I dislike her right since when we were kids she always liked getting on my nerves. She always behaved like the perfect one and always made me feel worthless but I am too strong for her to make me feel weak because of her stupid attitude.

I have just a few days to live here. Once I clock eighteen I will start my own life and live away from them.

I looked through my door and I felt like my father would walk in here any moment from now maybe with a whip in his hand.

I needed some fresh air. I needed to clear my mind of today's stress. I turned away from the door and I jumped outside through my window. If I should follow the front door they're going to catch me.

Chapter 2 The persecution

Julia POV

I leaped out of the window, escaping into the shadows of the woods. As I ran, I let my feet carry me away from the scene of the fight, through the dark woods that were my haven. Whenever I felt overwhelmed or upset, I would run, losing myself in the wind and the trees, my feet pounding the ground until my mind could finally rest. The forest was my refuge, my escape from the turmoil of life.

After running a long distance away from the pack, I stopped under a big tree to catch my breath. I was panting heavily with the evening breeze blowing on my skin. If my father knew that I was outside the pack I would definitely be in trouble, but right now, I needed to get away from home, most especially away from Maya. I didn't care what was going to happen to me because I was already in trouble for beating Maya up.

Suddenly, I paused when I felt a footstep

walking towards my direction I looked around me, but there was no one coming and the footsteps and heartbeat were becoming louder and closer. Slowly I picked up a stick from the floor, holding it firmly with my hands wrapped around it to attack whoever was coming my way.

Coming outside the pack alone is often dangerous, but I love how everything around here takes my mind off the things bothering me, so I don't care about the danger now.

I turn around looking left and right at alert, waiting to strike whatever is coming in my direction when suddenly a hand covers my face from behind, holding me tight with his hand as his scent fills my nostrils.

I was supposed to scream and struggle with him, but his familiar scent that caught my nostril made me calm under his hold.

"Guess who is here." He leaned closer and whispered in my ear, his hand still blocking me from seeing a thing.

A smile crept on my face hearing his voice as he leaned closer down to my neck, his hot breath hitting me on my bare neck. "The Alpha of Double Moon Pack," I muttered and in a swift movement he turned me around making me face him, his hand placed on my waist as he pulled me closer to himself.

"Hmmm, what are you doing all alone here?" He asked, looking deep into my blue eyes, holding me tight possessively.

"I wanted to get my mind off some things." I gave him a light, assuring smile.

"You're beautiful, and I can't wait to take you,'' he mumbled, pulling me even closer to himself as my hand rested on his broad, hardened chest.

"I will be clocking eighteen soon, and once I do, I am all yours." I smiled at him.

"You will be the Luna of Double Moon Pack." He bent down to my neck and gave me a wet kiss on it, making a sweet sensation spread down my body.

Arthur is the Alpha of my pack, Double Moon he's the only person I have who always makes me feel special and happy, he knows everything about me and most importantly he loves me.

In three days, I would turn eighteen, and I prayed that the Moon Goddess would unite us as fated mates. I knew, deep in my heart, that our love was real and pure. The thought of him claiming me brought a warm glow to my heart, despite the lingering doubts that sometimes plagued me. I felt safe with him, secure in the knowledge that he would never hurt me.

After spending some time with Arthur, I made my way back to the house. I climbed back on my window and jumped down. But immediately I turned around, I saw a figure seated on my bed.

"Father! What are you doing here?" I scream with fear, my back hitting the wall like a frightened kitten with my eyes fixed on him.

"Where have you been?" He asked calmly, his attention directed to me, with no traces of a smile on his face.

"I... I... was..." I tried to speak, but my voice caught in my throat as I noticed the frown on his face getting even worse, like he already knew the truth.

"You've broken two rules today," he said, his voice hard and cold. "And you'll be punished accordingly. I'll be waiting for you outside." With that, he turned and left my room, leaving me alone with my fear and trepidation.

"Father..." I called, and he turned around watching me, his face covered with resentment. I wanted to plead with him to spare me but looking at his angry face I knew he wouldn't listen to me.

"I give you two minutes to meet me outside," he warned before walking away.

A few minutes later, I walked to the sitting room where all the family members were waiting for me.

"You bitch!" Maya rushed to me the moment she saw me, but my Dad was quick to stop her from slapping me.

"Julia, look at what you did to your sister." My father faced me and my eyes drifted to Maya's broken nose. They are making it seem like I have done something bad to defend myself.

Should I have waited until Maya broke my nose?

"She attacked me first." I tried to defend myself.

"You're a liar, you attacked me first!" Maya cried out.

"Pull off your shirt, Julia." My father commanded the words that feared me the most.

"Father, you can't do this to me," I yelled, facing him. I never wish to be punished this way by my father again because the last time he did that I almost lost it. I can't remember the last time he beat Maya for any reason, but I remember vividly the last time he beat me when I was also accused by Maya for stealing what I knew nothing about.

"Julia, don't make me repeat myself," my father warned, standing up from his seat.

Fear gripped me as he walked closer to me, standing an inch away from me. One part of me wanted to run away, but I tried to fight those feelings off. I have nowhere to go, and I believe that all this will end just in the next three days until I turn eighteen.

"Pull off your shirt." came my father's commanding voice again. I felt hot tears gathered at the side of my eyes as my hand held the firm of my clothes tightly. Right now, I feel like crying and letting out all my pains, but I am very good at hiding them. I wouldn't want Maya to make me feel like a loser.

"Julia, did you want me to call someone to come help you pull it off?" Father warned me.

Slowly I hold the hem of my clothes, pulling off my shirt, leaving only my bra on.

"Turn your back." He commanded again as shame washed over me when I remembered the ugly scars that marred my back which were caused by flogging. The scars didn't heal on their own since I hadn't welcomed my wolf.

I raised my head up and my eyes landed on Maya, whose face was clouded with a smile.

Sluggishly, I turned around and tears threatened to drop down my face as their eyes landed on my bare back.

"Eww, you look horrible." Maya cried out, I could feel her disgusting look on my back.

"Maya get me the water and whip." my father instructed her, and immediately she dashed off with happiness, not less than a minute she was back with everything.

"You have committed two offenses today, going out of the pack and fighting your sister." He collected the water from her.

"Father, please, she accused me wrongly of stealing her necklace." I tried begging my father, but he didn't look like he was ready to listen to my pleading.

"Then why is it found inside your room?" Maya walked to my front, showing me her stupid necklace.

"No, it can't be true, I have nothing to do with it." I protest.

"You are now calling her a liar? I'm supposed to give you ten strokes, but now I am increasing it to twenty." my father said.

"What!" I screamed, trying to move away from him, but he was quick to hold me still.

He pinned me strongly to the table as he made me lay on it with some guards holding my legs and hands in place, and he started sprinkling the water on my body. I felt something different about this particular water. It contains pepper.

I shut my eyes tightly as he positioned the whip well and unexpectedly the first whip landed on my body, and it felt like my back just peeled off and the pepperish water was making the pain go deep down into my skin.

The next one landed on my back again followed by another and another as I held tight onto the table, my loud scream filled the whole room.

I am like a sheep who is being slaughtered without mercy.

*****

A few hours later I remained inside my bathroom as I cleaned up the blood stain from my body.

Even if the pain goes away, the scars on my body will forever remind me of the pain I went through but everything will end soon in the next three days.

I lay down on my bed facing the ceiling after I am done cleaning up until sleep comes to take over me. Finally, I am getting a rest.

Chapter 3 The Alpha King

Third-Person POV

Black Moon Pack

Inside the very large room were golds of different types and many beautiful decorations surrounding a golden throne standing just at the end of the room. Sitting on the throne is a man in his twenties, looking as handsome as ever.

His flawless and spotless light skin is what can drive anyone crazy, his eyes are the rarest and the most dangerous anyone could ever behold, they're green color mixed with gold, his pointed nose is the most perfect one which anyone would ever behold, his small heart-shaped lips are the most perfect one that every lady will love to have a test of, his thick black hair was so long cascading down his shoulders shining beautifully matching his dark aura, he could kill anyone faster than anything.

He is Alpha Wolfe, the Alpha of the Black Moon Pack, the most dangerous man that ever existed, his type is rare, he is the devil himself. With him, he has made his pack the strongest and most successful pack among others. His name alone can make even a strong man fall down and worship him; he is like a god feared by all.

But he has a weakness.

Aiden Wolfe heard the loud scream of his brother from his room; he quickly rushed out of the throne room to his brother's room in fear.

He knows what that noise is, his brother is at it again, and he has begun to lose his sanity. He barged inside his room, and he met him, scattering and throwing everything away.

The moment his brother Jeff saw him enter his room, he stopped what he was doing as his breath was frantic and all his attention was now on Wolfe.

Wolfe took a deep breath as he watched his insane brother closely. "I am not going to hurt you." He whispered, walking closer to him carefully.

Jeffrey roared angrily, not recognizing the intruder. Everything and everyone around here seemed like a threat to him, and suddenly, he changed into his wolf form, ready to attack.

He ran towards Wolfe ready to attack him, but he was quick to move away, causing Jeffrey to hit his head on the wall. He didn't mean to hurt his brother, but he needed to chain him down.

"Calm down, big man," Wolfe said as he turned, facing him, ready to get him.

Jeffrey rushed to him again ready to tear him with his claws, but Wolfe was able to catch him by the head as he pinned it tightly with his hand. Even in his human form, he is stronger than Jeffrey, who is in his wolf form the more reason why he is feared by all, he has never lost a battle.

The loud cry and howl of Jeffrey filled the room as Wolfe held his head firmly and dragged him to where he was going to tie him up.

Zack, who was outside, heard the loud scream from Jeffrey's room, and he already knew what was going on. Upon entering the room, he saw Wolfe holding his brother very tight.

"Go get me the chains!" Wolfe yelled while Jeffrey struggled to free himself.

Not quite long Zack came back with the chain, and together he helped the Alpha to chain Jeffrey down. Since he was not in his right senses, this was the best thing that could be done for him.

Jeffrey had been suffering from mania for the past three years, ever since the death of his beloved mate. Her absence had left him with a profound sense of loss, and he often struggled to keep his mental faculties in check. He would sometimes lose himself in his grief, becoming so consumed by his sorrow that he would forget who he was and where he was. His condition made him erratic and unpredictable, and it was hard to know when he would have a good day and when he would be lost in the grips of his mania.

"What are we going to do about Jeff?" Zack, the Beta, asked the Alpha, his voice heavy with concern. They both stood in the corridor outside Jeffrey's room, the door still closed. The silence was deafening, and the question hung in the air, unanswered. The Alpha sighed, his eyes downcast. He knew that this was not an easy situation to navigate, and he had no easy solution. But he had to do something, for the sake of his pack and for Jeffrey himself.

Wolfe didn't say a word, he was silent, fighting with his inner mind on what he needed to do to help his brother. This is not the happy and healthy brother he had known three years back, but now his condition is becoming worse each day.

He stops and faces Zack, "Go call me the pack doctor first." He informed him with a cracked voice the only weakness he had was his brother.

"On it." Zack bowed before he walked out to carry his order.

The doctor came and checked Jeffery's pulse, and then he ministered some drugs to him, which helped him to transform back to his human form.

"Doctor, what is now the condition of my brother?" Wolfe turned to face the doctor the moment he was done checking him.

"His condition is getting worse..." The doctor pauses watching the Alpha, he is scared of giving him the news that will make him angry.

"Go on, doctor." Wolfe urged him.

"Something has to be done to his condition else if his mental health worsens he will become a Rogue because once he changes to his wolf form in his maniac state he won't be able to shift back to his human form, thus making him a Rogue and the medication might not work for him again." The doctor explained to the Alpha, whose expression was now turning to a frown, his brew clenched in anger as he tried to control himself not to break down.

"So you mean the possibility of my brother going feral is high?" He asked, his eyes diverting back to Jeffrey, who is now calm but his eyes color is still red instead of its normal gray color.

"Yes, we need to find a solution to his condition." The Doctor explained.

"Okay, you can go but don't let any of the pack members hear about this, if I should hear it from anyone else I am going to end your existence and that of your children," Wolfe warned the doctor, who was already scared of him, as he made his way outside the room and Zack followed him behind.

"Aiden, what are we going to do now things are getting dangerous," Zack asked, following him behind, he's the only one who called the Alpha by his first name.

"Jeffrey has a mania because he lost his mate, right?" He said, facing Zack with his two hands inside his pocket as he took each step majestically.

"Yes." Zack nods.

"Then we are going to find him another mate who will take the place of his lost mate." He breaks his plan to Zack, who was taken aback by his suggestion. How did he come up with such a great idea, but is it possible for someone to be mated twice?

"Did you think it would work?"

"Yes, so long as he finds another female who is yet to have a mate."

"So how are we going to do that?" Zack asked, still following him behind.

"The awakening festival is coming up in the next two days, and it will be held in Double Moon Pack." Wolfe smiled when he thought of the possibility that his brother could become sane again by being mated to another.

"And there is a possibility that Jeff can find another mate among the upcoming werewolves who are still unmated."

"Exactly, so send a message to Double Moon Pack that we are attending the ceremony," Wolfe informed his beta before walking away from him.

"I hope everything will work out for good," Zack muttered under his breath as he watched the Alpha walk away.
