Tale of Moonlight (The Game in Arena)

"Let's go Moon." Shadow said and looked at me. I smiled and nodded. A nice limousine is now in front of us, I thought the bus would take us to the arena. It's really different when you're rich.

"I'll take it." Shadow said and snatched the bag I was holding. I smiled.

"Can you? The amount you can carry." I said, he laughed.

"Don't be rude. I'm showing you my elegance." He said making me laugh more.

"You know, that's mine. You might be overwhelmed by the bag with too much you're carrying." I said and snatched the bag he took from me and then a bag he was dragging.

"But I don't want you to get tired." He said.

"Eh there all." We looked behind us and saw Star staring at us.

"I hope everyone has Shadow." Star said making me laugh.

"I hope everyone doesn't get tired, I hope everyone is sweet." Star added, making us laugh.

"Oh here, you want to show off your elegance to Moon, don't you. Oh bring that." Red stretched and placed her luggage in front of Shadow.

"Are you Moon? Are you Moon? Hey Cloud, what's that red you're eating apple again oh." Rain complained to Cloud. Cloud just stared at Rain and then grabbed Red's bag that was placed in front of Shadow.

"Red is just jealous." Cloud whispered to us then winked at us.

After we put the things in the car, we smiled and got into the beautiful car.

This is the first time I have ridden in such a beautiful car. I looked at Shadow next to me with a question in my mind.

"Shadow." I called. He turned to me with a smile.

"Does Zero is in this car too?" I asked him in a whisper.

Immediately the smile disappeared from his lips, something I silenced. He just looked at me and slowly shook then took a deep breath.

"No." he answered sparingly. I forced a smile and averted my eyes. I think Zero is with his parents, it's impossible for him to be with us. Eh almost all our actions with him are separate.

I took a deep breath and focused myself on watching the scene we were passing through.

"Moon, wake up." I opened my eyes when I heard Shadow's voice. I looked around and saw what was left of us in the car.

"They've been down before. I didn't want to wake you up before but it looks like you slept well, now I just woke you up because it's dark." He said so I looked out the window and he was right, it was already dark.

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize I fell asleep on your shoulder." I said and smiled, he laughed.

"It's nothing, come on. They've already entered our belongings." He said. I nodded and we got out of the car together.

My jaw almost dropped when I saw the beauty of the arena. The vastness of the place where it is located, I am just here outside I am amazed. What if we were already inside.

"Our room is in the west wing, but Ice said earlier. They said they were sending us to the south wing of the Arena." Shadow said and looked at me.

He held out his hand in front of me then smiled.

"Come on?" He asked. I looked at his hand in front of me then smiled and accepted it.

We walked towards the South wing together as Shadow said as we held hands.

"I think we'll be introduced to the players we can compete against." He said.

"I am-" I couldn't keep up with what I was going to say when i collided with someone. We looked at the man I had bumped into who was obviously irritated by what had happened.

"Sorry i--"

"Don't you have eyes?" He asked irritably and looked at the hands we were holding.

He turned his gaze back to us.

"I'm sorry." I said and bowed. Shadow immediately pulled me behind him so I looked up.

"Look, I can really see you here Shadow. Long time no see." The man I bumped smiled. I looked at Shadow with his forehead wrinkled.

"I also saw the traitor again. Long time no see .... Dark." Shadow said emphatically something I swallowed.

"What? You saw Dark?" Red asked Shadow in shock. We are now in the South wing of the Arena, where we sleep in one of the rooms here. I don't know what these rooms are for but this is where the Admiral sends us.

"Yeah, Moon and I bumped into him earlier." Shadow said seriously so I looked at them.

"Isn't it forbidden for a former player to play?" Star asked. Why are they serious? Who is that Dark?

"That's what I'm going to ask. He's wearing the uniform of the other school." Said Shadow.

"Castro High, wasn't that the one he sided with before?" Ice asked.

"But Leviticus University is engraved on the uniform he's wearing." Shadow said. I looked at Cloud's behavior to see how he reacted but like me, he just seemed confused.

"Who is that Dark?" Cloud asked. Everyone looked at him at once looking at me.

"They don't know yet." Rain said.

"He was a former Moonlight student, who moved to Castro High. And now he's at Leviticus University." Said Shadow.

"So? What's wrong with him if he moves? Are you gossips?" Cloud asked.

"Moon, let's go outside first." Rain is with me. They looked at each other so I just nodded and stood up. I went out first in the room where we are now. They seem to be talking privately.

"So, where do you want to go?" Rain asked me. I just looked at her and smiled.

"Won't Zero come with us?" I asked. She stared at me.

"Have they arrived yet?" I asked.

"Come on, we're right inside the Arena. I'll show you the extent of the arena where our fight will be held." She deviated from the conversation. I quietly followed her, as we headed to the arena she said we were just quiet. We can only hear the footsteps of our feet.

"Rain!" We were both stopped by someone calling her name. We once turned to call her and saw a woman wearing a different school uniform. Not from MoonLight.

"Akira." Rain said with a smile then looked at me.

"Just a moment Moon ah." She said. I nodded and watched her go in front of the woman. I won't wonder why she knows so many people. Rain is very Friendly. Something that can add more to her beauty.

"Ms. Moon, is that right." I turned to the speaker beside me. It's Dark. I was devastated to see him smile.

"Nice to see you again." He said with a smile.

"A-are you Dark right?" I asked. He laughed.

"Looks like my name is very famous in your group ah." He joked. I did not silence him, instead I just looked at him.

"Fly told me that earlier." Suddenly he said. "So how was your first day in Moonlight?" He asked and laughed.

"Is your dignity still intact?" He asked. I was about to turn my back when he suddenly spoke.

"You can only wonder because there are things you can see that other creatures can't see." he said so I really look of him.

"What do you need?" I asked, he suddenly laughed.

"Me? I don't need anything. Why don't you ask your friends if they need anything?" He asked, frowning at me.

"Poor Moon, no one knows what's going on." He said and approached me then touched my cheek.

"Three eyes are open to you, but why can't you see who is true and who is not true Moon? Are you so weak as not to know the things around you?" He asked, I immediately took his hand away from my cheek.

"If you're here to poison my brain please just stay away from me because I don't have time to talk to you." I said that made him laugh more.

"You're really very innocent Moon, I won't wonder why it's so easy for them to spin you."

"Moon!" I heard Rain running towards me, she immediately pulled me away from Dark.

"What are you doing here?" She asked Dark.

"Getting acquainted with Moon? Why do you seem so scared of Rain?" Dark asked Rain so I looked at her, she looked very serious while looking at Dark.

"I'm not doing anything bad to her ah, I'm just talking--"

"Stay away from my friend." Dark suddenly laughed and applauded, he looked at me.

"Let's applaud your FRIEND Moon." He said while laughing.

"Let's go." Rain said and pulled me back to Dark.

"Moon." Rain stopped us at once and turned to Dark.

"Good luck." He smiled and crossed his arms.

"Hopefully, you're not the one I'll be honest with on game day." She said with a sly smile on his lips.

"What are we doing here?" I asked Shadow. Suddenly the lights around the stage where we were all standing turned on. I looked around, from where I was standing I could see and see the crowd of people in front of us, sitting and clapping while looking at us. I looked to the other side of the stage and saw Dark's group and the other group.

"We're live broadcast. We'll be introduced to the world for the upcoming game." Shadow replied, I looked around again and looked for a creature.

"Won't Zero be included in the introduction?" I ask. Shadow looked at me then held my hand. He shook his head slowly in response, I was immediately disappointed with his answer.

"Good evening Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to 159th Moon Light Association." A man began to introduce himself, in front of the camera there was what he had said.

"In the 159th game of MLA, we welcome all of you players from three prestigious schools around the world. We proudly introduced them to all of you." The man said I think there is foreign blood. I watched the behavior of the Dark group as the spotlight focused on them and behind them someone was waving their flag.

"LE-VI-TI-CUS. LEVITICUS! LEVITICIO! EL LEVITICUS! PODER Y FUERZA! LEVITICUS!" They shouted at the same time while jumping.

"From the third most influential and most powerful school in the world, let us all welcome their players. Leviticus University!" When he said that, seven of his players walked to the center, one of whom was Dark.

Someone popped up a picture on the screen and put their names. Below Dark's name is a Captain. That is, he was the captain of Leviticus.

I looked at Shadow who was looking intently at Dark's behavior.

"Traitor."

That's what I read in his mind as he turned to look at Dark's behavior, I turned my gaze back to the front.

They lost the spotlight and went to the group next to us.

'Marchesa Aegona' That's the name of their Captain.

I was suddenly dazzled when the spotlight suddenly fell on us. Are we going to cheer like the previous ones?

"Are we going to do something ---" I didn't finish what I was about to say when the spectators in front of us suddenly applauded.

"Light of the moon! The MoonLight Academy!" Simultaneous shouts of the spectators in front of us.

Smiling Shadow looked at me.

"We don't have to do what they did before. They will do it for us." He says. I rolled my eyes as we headed to the middle of the stage. The spectators are holding small flags of our school, On the screen there is a picture of our flag.

I feel We are very VIP at these times.

Our school has a different way of introducing itself to its predecessors.

"From the most influential and Most powerful, famous and house of intelligent students, Let us all welcome the Luna players of Luz de la luna. MoonLight Academy!" A loud roar from the spectators could be heard inside the arena.

Shout out the name of Moonlight, Moonlight is really a powerful school. I smiled but I also immediately lost my smile when I noticed our pictures on the screen.

Why is Zero not on the screen? Another thing that surprised me was that I was the captain of our group.

I looked at Shadow.

"Why me?" I asked, he looked at me and smiled. I was surprised when he took my hand and whispered to me.

"We talked about making you our captain, because we believe in your ability Moon. You can't just read mind." He said then looked at me.

"You control everything." He said things I didn't understand.

I lost my attention to him as we lined up the two rival schools. I caught Dark's gaze on me, he turned to smile while staring intently at me. I swallowed and looked away.

I need an answer to all my questions.

Why is Zero not on the screen? Where is he now and what does Dark mean by what he told me yesterday? What also does Shadow mean by what he says now that I control everything?

I'm confused, I think something is wrong right now.

Whatever it is. I will know that, by myself.
