Episode 1

Chrystal's POV

I woke up in the morning to the terrible pain in my head.. I breathed out in pain and held my head.. It was awful!

"Christine!" I called lowly and shook her a little because she's a deep sleeper.

"Hmm!" She grumbled from inside her sleep.

"Wake up" I said with little energy.

she woke up and scratched her eye balls to the root.

"Chrystal what's it?" She finally said as she watched how I held my head.

She sat up in a hurry and touched my skin.

"Oh My God!" She exclaimed.

" You're running a very high temperature" She said shocked.

She laid me back on the bed and rushed downstairs .

She probably went to alert the others. I was really weak... It felt like I was carrying a mountain on my head. Oh! why did I have to fall sick now? We don't even have enough money!.

I heard few steps and then the door flung open.

"Chrystal!" Amelia called and sat next to me. "What happened to her?" She asked.

"She's complaining of a headache and her temperature is really high" Christine explained.

"Oh dear!... She has a fever. We need to take her to the hospital" Amelia suggested.

"Hospital?! We don't have enough money to do that and it's just a fever right? We have a nurse neighbor so just go call her" Prisca said pointing her finger in the direction of the door.

"How sure are you that it's fever?... We both know this isn't the first time she's having such problems" Ivan added with all seriousness.

"Pls we have to do something" Christine said with heavy eyes.

Prsica ran out of the room ... she's definitely going to find the nurse. I couldn't think well nor say anything.. I just watched as they were all worried.

Christine's POV

" A little rest will do the trick after this medicine" The nurse said all dressed in her attire.. She was preparing for work before we called.

She handed over the medicines to Amelia who was standing right next to her.

"She's really weak . If after the medicine all these symptoms still persist, you have to take her to see a doctor" She marked.

"Okay" I replied.

"Pls Arnold see her to the door"

I can't believe this, Why now?? Oh Chrystal... pls wake up.

I stared at her ... She was fast asleep. The nurse also connected a drip to her hand.

"She'll be fine" Amelia assured and gave me a side hug.

I wiped the tears from my eyes and nodded, gulping down the saliva in my mouth.

We all left the room for Chrystal to rest and settled in the parlour.

We sat down to discuss how we're gonna get money... and if there are any favourable job opportunities out there.

Intro- I'm Christine Raymond and that was my twin sister Chrystal. We are fraternal twins, yeah! Non identical. We lost our parents years back and they left this house for us.

We couldn't live her alone so we invited out street friends with no one to care for them to come join us and it has been remarkable.

We have lived together for too long that we are now like family.. Arnold ,Jerome, Prisca , Amelia , Ivan , I and my sister.

I switched on the TV and to my greatest surprise, a job advertisement was going on.

Thank goodness we didn't miss it!!

"Walter's Enterprise" I said out.

"What do you think?" Amelia asked and a big smile crept on my face.

No one in their right sense would reject this offer for anything.

"I'll take it... well I'll try" I said not so sure of myself.

"Oh.. don't worry, you'll do great" Ivan assured and I smiled.

"Thanks" I appreciated.

Royce's POV

The night was long, I thought as I woke up to the sound of the cool music still playing in my room. It helps me to sleep.

"Stop music" I said and the music stopped. I jumped out of bed with high hopes believing that it's just gonna be another boring day.

I freshened up and went downstairs for breakfast. I skedaddled down the stairs and I noticed that the table hasn't been set yet , so I walked straight to the kitchen and I met our head chef- Lisa.

"Hey Lisa! What's popping?" I said with a flirty smile and stylishly picked an apple from the fruit tray.

"Look how handsome you look" Lisa complimented with a blush.

"I still don't understand why women aren't falling for you" She added with a quick frown.

"Huh?"

"Well soon you won't be allowed to eat in this house until you bring home a bride" She said and shot me a stare.

"You've started talking like mom" I said disgusted as I took a bit from the apple.

"So no has caught your attention before?" She asked surprised.

Why does it have to be me all the time?! A day don't pass without this question.

"I don't know, but....."

"There is always a but" Someone obviously my mom said from behind. I rolled my eyes and turned.

"Good morning mother" I greeted with force.

"Pls tell what's good about the morning?" She asked huskily.

"Really mom!, not now" I said disturbed heading out of the kitchen not ready for another story.

She followed me out of the kitchen and kept throwing words at me buh I didn't even listen... just focused on my phone.

"Bye mom" I finally said and walked out of the mansion.

"Hey I'm not done yet" She yelled from behind but I didn't bother to react.

A car drove into the compound as I stepped out...

Whoever it was,winded down and I chuckled.

Friends! Maya and Sammy

"You coming?" Maya asked.

I walked straight up to the car, opened the door and we zoomed off.

I guess today isn't work day....

Christine's POV

I sat next to Chrystal in the room waiting patiently for her to regain consciousness. I couldn't hold the news to myself anymore.. I wanted her to know that I have a job in mind I wanna apply for.

I watched as she slept calmly that I didn't notice her fingers move. Her eyes shook and mine beamed.

"Chrystal!" I called with joy resounding in my voice.

"Christine" She called lowly and finally opened her eyes..

She's awake!!

Episode 2

Christine's POV

Oh thank God!!. My sister has finally woken up .

"Chrystal!" I beamed with a small laugh. She smiled back and I helped her sit up.

"How are you?" I asked with beaming smiles on my face.

I helped her sit properly and sat next to her.

"I'm fine" She replied feebly.

"Oh Chrystal.. it seems the medicine actually worked" I said and caressed her hair . That means we won't have to take her to the hospital.

The door opened and Amelia walked in.

"Chrystal!" She shouted and ran to hug her on the bed. Everyone would be happy because hospital is of limits now.

"Are you okay?" Amelia asked and she nodded with a smile.

"Why are you both worried? . I'm fine.. I'm okay" She said loudly.

Huh?? Such speedy recovery. I and Amelia glanced at each other. She just woke up and already gathered enough strength to talk.

Well I guess the power house is back!

"Chrystal shut up! The more you talk, the more you burn energy and that's something you don't have" I said and she looked at me .

"What?" I asked.

She jumped down from the bed and I gasped.

"Chrystal!" I called shocked.

"I'm fine okay?" She said with a frown.

"So much energy!" Amelia remarked.

"Chrystal... you need to stop with this carefree attitude. It's not helping anyone" Christine said with authority.

"Ok ma'am" Chrystal replied mockingly.

She looked at us and walked out of the room.

"Chry...." I almost called.

"Just let her be. We all understand" Amelia said and walked out of the room... I sighed as I stood akimbo.

She didn't even give me a chance to tell her that I was going for a job interview tomorrow.

"Why is she so arrogant... This morning has been hectic!" I said to myself and started cleaning up the bedroom.

we were all seated in the parlour and everyone looked moody.

"C'mon guys" I said sadly.

"I'm so hungry!" Prisca moaned with a cry.

"You guys.. where's Jerome?" I asked.

"Oh... he's been out" Amelia answered.

The door opened with force and we all jumped from our seats in fright.

"Hey guys!" He sang as he displayed some dance moves.

"I'll forget about my heart attack and think about this news" Prisca said excited and flaunted some dance moves.

She's really a case ... she was hungry a few minutes ago.

"What's the occasion? Did we miss something?" Chrystal asked surprised.

"Well.. I just got a job!!!" He said joyously and we all screamed.

"Really?"

"Congrats" I wished him.

"So how do we celebrate?" Amelia asked .

"You all get ready.. you know that restaurant that just opened about four streets from here. I'll take you all there" He said and that was the happiest thing I heard since morning.

"Finally!!... Food!!" Prisca yawned.

"Red Chillies" I shouted!

That was the name of the restaurant.

Everyone moved into their rooms to change into something fancy only Chrystal didn't move.

"Hey sis" I said sitting next to her on the couch.

"Aren't you coming?" I asked in a very mild tone.

"Yeah sure, Let me go get ready" She replied not really interested in the idea.

Time flew like the wind and we finally got there.

Royce's POV

"Really guys! Red Chillies?!" I said out of disappointment.

"Out of all other restaurants" I added under my breath.

"C'mon dude! Why behave high class all the time?" Sammy asked.

"Yeah! I mean, this restaurant is also famous for it's good and delicious recipes" Maya added.

We alighted from the car and walked straight pass the door . We took our seats on a table for three.

The waiter came with the menu card and he took our orders. we were waiting for our food when heard a girl screamed.

All attention was drawn to her and her friends. We didn't seat too far from their table so I watched all the drama perfectly well. It just happened that a waiter spilled juice on her.

"Can't you do your job properly without any mistakes?" She barked at the waiter who was already drowned in fear.

He kept on ranting and ranting and all the poor waiter could do was to apologize. Even her friends tried to calm her down but all to no avail.

"Where's the restroom?" She asked.

"It's right there madam" The waiter replied sadly.

I looked away as what happened didn't seem to interest me anymore.

"Poor waiter" Sammy said.

I looked there again and saw her walking towards our direction.. I looked away but I just couldn't stop myself from looking back.

She was extraordinarily beautiful. Her face, hair, eyes .. everything drew my attention.

I stared at her as she walked pass us.

Maya snapped her fingers and I came out of it.

"What are you looking at?" She asked.

"Excuse me!"

Chrystal's POV

I can't believe that stupid waiter .I am not in a good mood today and he just had to add to my problems. I took a towel and used it to clean my dress.

I could see everywhere in the toilet through the mirror and immediately I sighted a guy staring at me from the door ,I turned and didn't see him there again.

Royce's POV

"Oh my God! She saw me!" I thought to myself heading for my table.

I got there and our food had being served. I took my seat and started eating.

I looked towards the restroom and immediately our eyes met from afar. She walked gracefully like a God to my table.

"Yes how many we help you" Sammy asked.

"Why were you staring at me in the restroom?" She asked facing me directly. She totally snubbed Sammy.

I stood up and scoffed.

"And why will I be staring at you?" I retorted.

"Do not answer my question with a question" She immediately replied.

"Why?" I asked.

She ranted and ranted.. I got lost staring into her big black eyes and I took the opportunity to stare at her. I got to her tummy.. she had a tattoo next to her belly button which could be clearly seen because of the triangular shape cut on her dress around her tummy.

"Hey!" She snapped and I came back from my wild thoughts.

I brought out my phone and payed all attention to it as she continued ranting. She snatched it from my palms ... I took out another phone from my pocket and she snatched it again... Then I took out another phone from pocket .. and she had this crazy confused look on.

Yeah!! She's not the only one that's stubborn. If you live with my mom, you gotta learn tricks!

"How many phones do you have?" She asked agape.

"More than I can count" I said as I signalled Maya to stand up.

"My phones pls or would you like to have them?" I asked and she returned them in a flash.

"You can have it.. I don't take things that aren't mine" She replied and I smiled

"Okay"

I signalled Sammy to pay for the food.. held Maya by the waist .. I turned to leave but I stopped. I stood in opposite direction to her and whispered in her ear "You look cute when you're angry DD"

I walked away... then stopped and looked back again when I got to the door . She gave a fuck you sign.

I guess that's her reply!!.. Ha!

Episode 3

Christine's POV

I was getting ready to go for the job interview. I was dressing up when Chrystal woke up.

"Where are you going?" She asked with a yawn and a little stretch.

"For an interview" I said as I applied oil to my hair.

"Interview?" She asked surprised

"You never told me of any interview" She said and I chuckled.

"Well yes. I wanted to tell you yesterday but you didn't seem interested in anything so I didn't bother" I replied and picked up my bag.

"You're going corporate?" She asked.

"Walter's Enterprise!" I replied.

"Huh? Where's that?"

Are you kidding me??

"You don't know?.. Of course you don't know" I said and laughed.

"I have to go now okay?!. when I come back I'll tell you" I said and shaked my head.

"Well okay" She shouted from behind.

I stopped and turned to face her.

"And.. least I forget. Go and find a job!" I said and finally walked out.

"Thanks. I'll keep that in mind!!"

I walked into the big office building and I could barely see more than one feet in every direction.

I walked straight to the receptionist.

"Excuse me" I said.

"How may I help you?" She asked politely.

"I saw your job advertisement on the TV and I'm here to apply for it" I replied and she nodded.

"Ok pls hold no" she said.

She made a call and ended it not too long after.

"Take the lift to the 19th floor. The last office on the left is the CEO's office" She said with a smile.

"Oh thanks" I appreciated.

Hmm.. I think she's nice.

I followed all directions given to me, I got to the office and met his secretary sitting in her own office.

She saw me and gave me a go ahead nod.

I opened the door slowly and with nervousness.

And to my greatest surprise... From the office you could see the entire city.. I believe. The walls were all glass. It was an amazing view.. This place at night would look like heaven.

"Good morning Sir" I greeted.

"Welcome" He replied.

He was working on his laptop.. pretty focused on it. It took a while before he finally lifted his head.

"Take a seat" He offered.

"Sir?" I asked.. not that I didn't hear what he said we'll .. I just wanted to be sure.

"Take - a - seat" He picked the words.

"Thank you sir" I replied and sat down.

I passed him my CV which had all the information.

"So miss Raymond.. You have no experience " He said coldly.

"Yes sir, but I'll try to do my best" I said hopefully.

He asked some other questions and I replied them truthfully.

"Ok then. I'll give you one well to prove yourself" He said and dropped the CV on his desk.

He's really handsome and quite muscular . He had a parting on his hair quite similar to that of a footballer and he's voice coming out cold.

"Thank you sir , I promise to try my best" I replied.

"You can start as from next week" He said now staring at his phone.

I stood up and took my leave. I got outside and screamed with excitement.

O.M.G Royce Walter!! . What a privilege!. I don't even understand.. I feel like the luckiest person in the world. I'll be working with New York's most eligible bachelor.

He's just like my Mr Perfect!.

Royce's POV

After work hours, I got home and freshened up . Left the house immediately because I don't want any issues with my mom.

I took the car out myself with no guards. Just me Myself and I . I drove round the city listening to some cool music.

Chrystal's POV

The house was boring. Just Jerome and Prisca and my sis had returned from work. So I decided to come out to take a stroll.

I walked a distance away from home and I came across a child sitting alone crying by the side of a lonely road.

"Hey!" I said and rushed to him.

"Where are your parents?" I asked but he still didn't reply, I tried asking a few people around but no one knows him. Then I decided to take him to the police station.

I stopped a cab , We were about to enter but two people came running along.. shouting!

"Where are you taking my son to?" She asked furiously.

"Oh! So they are his parents" I thought.

"To the police station" I retorted.

"How could you take a child to the police station?" The man who I believed is his father asked.

"He was sitting there alone..crying!. He didn't even know where his parents had gone" I said

"Take him and take good care of him" I half yelled.

"You can't tell us how to take care of our son" His mom remarked.

"Oh really?!. Ok then. Maybe if a kidnapper had seen him first then you'll know how to care for him"

"If I ever find out that you made him cry, I will file a case of parent misbehaviour and you will go to court and then to jail" I said with confidence.

I turned and walked away angrily but deep down i was very happy.

As I was walking and smiling.. happy about the threat .. I bumped into someone.

"Can't you watch where you are going?" We asked simultaneously.

"You?! again?" We said in unison in disbelieve.

How on earth can I bump into him again?

"Rude!" He said coldly.

"Excuse me"

"Why did you bump into me?" He asked.

I scoffed " That's a lie. We bumped into each other" I corrected.

"Oh really!! Is that so?" I asked with a smile that didn't last two seconds on his face.

"Pls move aside!" He said and I pushed my head.

"You know what?.. I won't shout or argue with you in anyway" I said and he clapped with a laugh.

"Oh wow!! Thanks to God!" He said and laughed hard.

"Sorry, if I may ask.. but why?" He asked with a smile.

hmm!! FOOL!

"I'm in a good mood today" I said and he laughed hard again.

"Good mood!!.. You?" He laughed.

"Yes!. What's wrong with that? You can't just judge me by what happened yesterday" I said and folder my arms.

"Hmm yeah you're right" He said.

"May I know your name?" He asked.

"Why would I tell my name to a complete stranger?" I asked in bewilderment.

He chuckled " You have a tattoo right next to your belly button. He complete stranger wouldn't know that right?" He asked and I smiled.

"How do you know that?" I asked surprised.

"I won't tell" He replied and I rolled my eyes.

"So you aren't a stranger then?" I said and nodded slowly.

"Well maybe I am... but not completely" He said and I laughed.

"Oh ok!"

"Chrystal" I said and he stretched forth his hand for a handshake.

"My name is enough.. no handshakes" I said and looked away.

"You are really a case!" He said and scoffed.

"Well I have to go now.. it's getting late" He said and turned to leave.

"Why? Your girlfriend will spank your ass?" I asked and he turned to face me.

"No!.. my mom will" He replied and walked towards his car.

He's really cool.

"Good bye!!" I yelled with a wave and he waved back and zoomed off.

That car looks like the one I watch in movies . He looks pretty rich or maybe he just dresses to impress like those playboys. Oh well!! He's really handsome.

I started counting my steps back home.. when I realized that I didn't ask him for his name!

Oh MY God! Am I not the most foolish person?
