Taken and Caged (Finale of Broken and Pregnant)

Lucy POV

I woke up early to prepare my husband's breakfast. Cassandra was assigned to everything when it comes to our son Austin. I agreed to our arrangement since her daughter passed away five years from now.

I steamed a tuna fish with a pair of macaroni soup, his favorite. It's seven in the morning and I climbed upstairs to check Kent if he's already up.

I entered the room and my face brightened to see my husband laying on the mattress still sleeping soundly and peacefully. It's been five years when our lives turned upside down with all the dramas and heartaches we've been through together. I walked closer and sat beside him. I took a deep breath and caress his face when he quickly pulled me against him. I fell on his hard chest and I blush when he showered me with soft kisses on my face.

"Hmmm, why you're up so early, honey? How can you leave your handsome husband alone in our room?", he teases me and he climbed above me.

We were like young teenagers who loves teasing each other. I bit my lower lip to tease him too.

" Why are you mad? Is last night not too good for you?", I said and he nods his head and smashed his lips to mine.

I just close my eyes to imagine how Kent has become a good kisser until now. He nibbled my lips like ice cream where his tongue traveled inside and took mine to suck it like a lollipop.

"Hmmm", I moaned when he started to suck my tongue. I can't tell what kind of pleasures it's offering me but I am going crazy.

He stops and stared at me for a while. He smiled and looks so happy.

" What?", I asked him while I felt a sudden growth of his thing above my thighs.

"I just can't believe that you're now my wife and Austin were with us. I promise to never leave you and hurt you again, Lucy!", he told me and I was glad to hear it. I giggled and I was the one who pulled his head closer to kiss him again.

Our kisses were full of love and passion. My back bent forward when his lips wandered down my chest. I moaned in pleasure when his lips nibbled on my nipples. I feel like electricity runs through my veins and stops my wetness.

Kent slowly spread my legs and slid his hardness in between my thighs to my core. At first, his movement was gentle until he started to grind his thing inside me deeper and faster.

"Faster, Austin might come and see us!", I told him while staring at our door.

I went downstairs and saw Austin in the kitchen eating his breakfast but he's not alone.

" E-Eloisa? Gale? Is that you?", I asked them while making my way towards them.

They stood up together to greet me.

"Hi, Lucy, it's been five years! We're so glad to see you and Austin!", Eloisa said while smiling at my son and me.

Although many terrible things happened between us, I already forgive Eloisa and Gale with all my heart. I don't seek revenge anymore and I am so happy that they're now free and happy too.

I was shocked when she hugs me.

" I'm so sorry about the past but I hope we can start as good friends Lucy?", she said and I accepted it wholeheartedly.

My eyes shifted at Gale and he set a smile on me and I smiled back.

I didn't notice that Kent was there standing behind me. I heard him cleared his throat.

"I didn't know we have a visitor! How are you, my brother? I'm happy to see both of you get out of prison." He mumbled and went near Gale to embrace him.

I am happy that Kent finally forgives his brother for what he did in the past. Past is past so we decided to move on and focus on our family's future.

I saw Gale hug back and they started to get emotional. Eloisa and I wink at each other.

"Thank you for welcoming us here, Kent." He said and he took a white envelope from his pocket.

I don't know what is it.

"We came here to deliver you our wedding invitation! I know it's shocking but we wanted to make our secret affair from the past official!", Gale informed us while staring at Eloisa with a wide smile on his face.

Eloisa smiled back and giggled.

" Yeah, during our time inside the prison, our feelings get stronger and we decided to reborn again as good persons, not as a murderer!", she shrugged her shoulders.

" Wow, we're happy to both of you. Don't worry, we will be there. Let's sit first and have breakfast together!", I invited them and we are happy for the first time.

Dad wasn't with us because he visits his doctor for his legs. I am grateful that my family and friends reunited. I wish that no more drama this year 2021 because 2019 wasn't the best year for me and us.

While we were eating at the dining table, Eloisa asks me about Cassandra.

"I heard you hired her to be Austin's nanny? How is she here? Is she taking care of Austin?", she asked me but before I could utter a word, Cassandra appeared behind us.

" Yes, Austin is like a son for me! Right, Lucy?", she said and I told Eloisa how lucky I am to have her in our lives.

"Yeah. That's why we're giving our full trust to her. Come, let's eat!", I invited her to join us but she declined.

" I'm good. I just eat my breakfast before feeding Austin." She replied.

She told me that she will check our botanical garden. Kent built it himself and surprised me as his gift on my thirtieth birthday. He knew how I adore flowers and nature and I am so delighted to accept it.

"Okay, just watered them for me, Cas!", I ordered her and she nodded.

I saw Eloisa raising her eyebrows at Cassandra.

" I don't like her. She looks weird to me. I don't know but I just feel strange about her." She informed me but I just laughed at Eloisa and Gale and Kent heard her.

They reacted too.

" Why bother her babe? Just focus on our wedding, okay!", Gale said but Eloisa just rolled her eyes at us.

She took a sigh.

"Okay." She answered lightly and we finish our breakfast together but Austin excuse himself to follow his Yaya Cassandra.

Eloisa POV

This Lucy's friend Cassandra seems familiar to me. I can't recall where I saw her but I think I saw her somewhere when I and dad traveled together a lot.

She's not okay for me. The way she stared at me seems weird and creepy. I don't care if she was Lucy's friend and Austin's nanny because for me she's still a stranger and a murderer.

I don't like her and I don't always trust strangers.

Cassandra was running in the darkness. She's calling for help because she saw a man wearing a black raincoat with a Freddy mask on his face. His right hand was holding a sharp knife and ready to slash her throat once he catches her.

"Help! Help! Someone wanted to kill me!", Her throat cracks and almost dry from a never-ending marathon from the killer.

She looked back but the unknown man wasn't there anymore. Droplets of sweat rolled down her face and her tension subsided when the guy vanished. She feels relieved and slows down her speed.

" Where is he?", she said while checking her behind.

The empty road was quiet and only the barking of dogs can be heard in the empty lot she was at right now. Her eyes roamed around and she saw no traces of her abductor but she's wrong.

A sharp thing hit on my neck. Blood started to drop endlessly. My eyes widened when he took off his mask and I know her. Yes, she's someone I know.

"Ahhhhh!", I screamed when I felt someone is shaking my shoulders.

" Cassandra, wake up! You're having a nightmare!", she slowly opened her eyes and she saw Lucy.

She quickly got up and she felt the dryness in her throat. She's still shaking and her dreams seem so real. She quickly wrapped her arms around her friend's body.

"I'm scared, Lucy. He's here! He's going to kill me!", Cassandra looks paranoid.

Her eyes won't stop blinking like she saws a ghost.

" Hey, no one will hurt you. I'm here beside me. He's not real, okay! It's just a bad dream. Calm down." She is trying her best to comfort her friend.

It's been three days when Cassandra always dreaming of a guy wearing a black raincoat. She can't explain why this kind of dream always visiting her every night.

Her eyes were glaring while Lucy caressed her back.

"You're the killer to my dream." She said to herself.

Lucy left when she finally came back to her senses. She ambled to the kitchen to drink one glass of water. She's trying to erase all the memories she had left when her parents were alive. They are only part of her past and she promised herself that they won't haunt her forever.

Cassandra POV

When my daughter died, my whole world falls into pieces. She was five years older than Austin if she was still alive. I still long for Tanya because she never experienced having a mother since she went to prison when Tanya was only five years old.

I thought I can be reunited with my daughter after I was discharged from prison but she got sick and I came late. She died without my presence. The most painful part is she keeps calling my name while catching her breath. I wasn't there for only ten seconds I step inside her room, she said goodbye to the world.

"Why it still hurts? I should be smiling because I have Austin with me but why this feeling of emptiness still haunting me?", I said to myself while drying my tears from my face with the tissue I have in my hands.

I went back to my room. I was like this when I am alone in the mansion. Lucy and Kent brought Austin with them to the Museum. They were invited to attend the auction for Eloisa's painting collections.

I decided to wear something beautiful today. Let me guess, what if I will be a doctor so I can save everyone's lives especially those in need.

I have my secret cabinet inside my room. Lucy wasn't aware of it, since, I covered it with curtains.

I have different costumes since I wanted to be a cosplayer when I was in high school.

I took one pair of white blouses and a skirt for my doctor's thing. I wear them and check myself in front of the mirror. The dress looks perfect on me. A wide smile was painted on my face.

" Tanya, do I look great? Mommy is going to treat your malady!", I said to my daughter.

I know Tanya will be okay soon and we will be together. I just need some time to prepare our home and her things before I decided to take her with me.

I turned around to see the full view of my outfit when someone rings the bell downstairs. I immediately take off my doctor's uniform and ran downstairs. I thought it was them but my excitement faded when it was Eloisa.

"What is she doing here?", I whispered to myself.

I don't like her attitude. She's so spoiled and antagonistic.

I set a fake smile on my face.

" Hi, everyone is not here. Do you have an appointment with them?", I asked her while trying to be modest in front of her.

She raised her brows and set a half-smile on her face.

"I came here for you. I want to ask you something." She uttered and I look puzzled.

"She came because of me? Did I do something wrong to her?", these are the questions inside my mind.

" Can I come in, first? I think I have the rights since I am part of the family." She said and rolled her eyes towards me.

I wanted to slap her but I hold my breath and calm myself. This isn't me anymore. I have control over my emotions especially when I am mad.

"Yeah, I know that. Come and I'll make you a tea", I said and let her in.

I was about to go to the kitchen when she called me by another name.

" Carmen, right? I know it's you even you changed your name a million times but the murder you did was---", Eloisa stop and was surprised when her right palm hit her face.

"I'm not a murderer! I am not Carmen! I am not a --", I was surprised again when I saw Eloisa shaking my shoulders.

" Hey, are you okay? I thought you saw a ghost since you look pale!", she said.

What just happened? Am I delusional again?

"Did you said anything? Did something happen?", I wanted to clarify if what I heard and witnessed are true or just my daydreaming again.

Eloisa looks puzzled.

" I told you, I will wait for your tea but you froze like a statue without responding to me." She replied and I feel relieved.

I thought, she said that I am a murderer and Carmen was my name. I just went to the kitchen and offered Eloisa a tea while waiting for them.

As I am stirring the tea, the tea itself started to turn red like blood. I screamed and I saw Eloisa rushing towards me.

"Cassandra, what's happening to you? You seem not right!", She sympathized with me and I hate that. I pushed her away from me.

" I'm okay so can you just stay there and wait. Maybe I am just tired. Can you please excuse me?", I told her, and I went back to my room to rest.

Eloisa just left and told me that she just came to tell Lucy that she's inviting them to a family dinner tonight.

I can't explain this feeling inside me but this is not normal. I am trying to live as Cassandra and nothing else.

I have Austin and a loving family of Lucy. What else I ask for?

Lucy POV

I set my alarm clock at six in the morning because tomorrow is the special day for Eloisa and Gale. These two once wrecked my life and future but everything came to terms and it's all in the past.

I rose from my bed as I heard my alarm clock ring. It's exactly six in the morning. I check my husband beside me and as usual, he's sleeping like the dead.

"Honey, wake up! Let's prepare for Eloisa and Gale's wedding!", I am shaking Kent's shoulders and finally he woke up too.

He stretches his arms and gently opens his eyes.

" Oh, honey, it's too early to go. I thought their wedding will starts at eight." Kent told me while he keeps yawning like he didn't have a good night's sleep.

I frowned and pouted my lips. I hate being late and besides Eloisa needs my help since her dad bestowed her Nd he migrated to another country.

"Come on. You take a shower first and I'll call Cassandra and Austin to prepare their things too. " I told him and I jump off the bed and went to wake up them.

I went to the other side of the room, my son's room where Cassandra sleeps too. I decided to let her sleep with Austin because I am scared that something bad will happen to him. I lost him once when Eloisa and Kent ran with him to the states without my permission. Now that he's back in my arms, I won't let any harm came close to him.

I knocked two times but no one answered.

"I thought Cassandra loves getting up early like me so why she's not awake yet? ", I mumbled.

I am about to knock again when Cassandra suddenly opened the door. She looks like she just woke up with messy hair and crumpled sleeping wear while rubbing her eyes towards me.

" Lucy, what time is it? I thought the wedding starts at eight?", she and Kent had the same question.

I took a sigh and put my arms beside my waist.

"We need to come early to help Eloisa. I know she's not someone to have special treatment but I guess we have to since she's alone and no loved ones beside her, right?", I said.

Cassandra looks dismayed at my behavior but she agreed just to accept my request.

" Okay, I'll wake up Austin now." She told me even I know she dislikes Eloisa so much.

"Let's see downstairs in thirty minutes, okay?", I informed her and she nodded.

I didn't have time to say hello to my son since he was sleeping so peacefully.

I went back to our room and Kent was talking to someone on the phone.

" Okay, bye. See you soon!", he said and cut off their call.

I cleared my throat to let him know that I am back.

"Oh, honey, how long you stand there?", he asked me like he's surprised.

" I just got here. I heard you're talking to someone. Who was it?", I said while walking to the bathroom.

He looks calm and I am hoping that it's not any random girls because I know how my husband close to girls. He laughed at me and I started to get irritated.

"Why? Do you think I am flirting with anybody?", he teased me.

I glared and rolled my eyes at him.

" Don't worry honey, you're the only girl in my heart and our son Austin. It's my brother Gale. He called me because he's nervous on his wedding day." He said while wrapping his arms around my body.

He planted a light kiss on my forehead.

"Really?", I said acting like a baby.

" Promise! Come on, I'm done showering. Eloisa is waiting." He told me and I went to the bathroom to take a quick bath too.

We arrived at the Zeus Palace at seven. Kent headed to Gale's room while I left Cassandra and Austin in the lobby to check Eloisa in her room.

I walked inside and I saw her sitting in front of the mirror.

"Hi, you look stunning in your dress, Eloisa!", I complimented her.

She looks back and saw me. Her face brightened to see me. She gets up from her chair and hugs me tightly.

" I'm glad you came! I don't know what to do when dad wasn't here." Eloisa said and cries on my shoulders.

I tap her back to comfort her. I know how hard it was to be alone just like me. Dad vanished for many years and I lived alone with fear and anger to him.

"Of course. It's okay, maybe your dad wasn't ready to forgive you yet but I know he's happy to see you in your wedding dress on your real wedding day." I wanted her to feel that she's not alone and I am not angry at her.

" Thank you, Lucy. I am lucky to have you as my friend even though I did terrible things to you." She sniffs.

I hold and wipe the tears from her face.

"Today is your wedding day. Smile and be happy, okay. " I advise her and Eloisa smiled back.

She nods her head.

"Yeah, I know. Let's go. I think it's time." Her smile is now reached her ears.

"Sure!", I said and I escorted her to her car.

Kent POV

I walked inside Gale's room and the black suits on him fit his body.

" Hey, you look great and a real man in your suit, bro!", I praise my stepbrother after giving him a sibling hug.

He was surprised to see me.

"Kent, you're here. Are you sure I look good on this? I don't know if dad will attend since he loathed me as his son after what I did in the past." There's gloom on Gale's face.

I know it's hard to accept him in our family but since Lucy forgave them both, I did what is right too. He was still my brother anyway.

"I texted him yesterday. I know dad will attend. Let's see. " I said and Gale just shrugged his shoulders at me.

Everyone looks excited especially the groom to see the bride marching on the altar but only one person was not delighted.

"She don't deserve to be happy! A criminal will never change. I will make it possible!", Cassandra murmured while cursing Eloisa.
