I was lying on my bed with headphones on listening to a music named "cry" by rihanna a popular musician when i reflect on my happy memories with James my ex who broke my heart.. I was not always lucky when it comes to relationships and it sucks badly... sometimes i do cry myself to sleep and it has made me coldhearted towards all the guys around me. I see them all as decievers and heartbreakers. i was'nt always like this something happened that bruise my heart forever...

Arianna wanted to surprise James by visiting him in his apartment without his knowledge instead she got the shocker of her life

I removed my headphones drop it on the table and undress tieing a towel to my body to take a shower...

Minute later i was done and came out of the bathroom drying my hair with a hair dryer and applying a face cream on my face, doing my daily body treatment..

i went to the wardrobe to put on my nighties and I plumbed on the bed yearning tiredly.. tomorrow is going to be a long day, i had so many scheduled meeting appointment to attend

"grrrrrrrrrrrh" the phone rang repeatedly jerking me up from sleep.. still with sleepy eyes and eyes closed i reach out for my phone grunning

"Who the f*ck is this" i murmured answering the call

📞 "sir it's me steven your PA" came a voice from the phone i half opened my eyes and gazed at the phone rolling my eyes when i saw it was my personal assistant.. he continued speaking " the meeting for the contract is scheduled today and we are a hour late sir 📞

📞 OK i will be there in a minute📞 i yelled at him and ended the call quickly not wanting to hear what he has to say

not like i cared anyway it's part of my personality

the driver was already by the car waiting and when he sighted me

he greeted and quickly rushed to open one of my latest lobogini car door for me to enter and went to the driver seat to ignite the car engine starting it .

my bodyguards followed afterwards in my other cars .

and we set off to the venue of the meeting

it took us 2 hours to reach our destination cos of the heavy traffic we met on the way

and it was pissing me off like badly

Just the thought of losing the contract worth millions of dollars is driving me nuts

"can't you drive more faster" I yelled at austin the driver Who put more speed to it and in a jiffy

We arrived at CGN Limited where the meeting was to hold

Austin parked the car at the car space and opened his car door and rushed to open mine

I got down in a haste heading to the building with my body guards trailing behind and we took a lift to Floor 13 where the meeting was holding

Austin was by door with his phone on his ears pacing to and fro

I guess he was calling me all along trying to reach me

When he looked up and sighted me his face was knitted in relief

the meeting is almost over

I tryed calling your line severally to tell you but you are'nt answering

I sign in frustration and looked at him without saying a word and opened the door

to discover the meeting was over and the board of directors were already heading out when i stepped in

they looked at my direction

"Who the hell got the contract" i shouted to no one in particular in annoyance

"I did" came a feminine voice

"huh" i thought

and stared towards the direction the Voice came from to see a very pretty lady standing up and walking towards me elegantly

the fact that she's got a Killer shape and the red gown she's putting on just makes her more enticing and irresistable

I felt something melted in my heart, which has never happened before it was just like Love at first sight

I was a player who doesn't show any feeling at all

but why now there is something about this lady i thought

"hey you" she yelled snapping her fingers against each other at my face and jerking me out of my thought

"are you done drooling" she asked with a smirk playing around her lips

I got the contract and they is nothing you can do about it

I scoffed trying to hide my feelings by putting on a composure

"well you won't be this lucky next time" i said to her

"we will see about that" she said coming close to me acting like she wanted to kiss me but she redrawed smirking liking the effect she has on me

Like damn her coledge was driving me nuts

it was just like i was on drugs

i felt like drawing her close to me and crushing my lips on hers, having a taste of those her juicy lips

With that she left me hanging, slamming the door hard

leaving me looking stupid and dumpfolded..

"like seriously who the hell did she think she is, i cursed in anger".

"did she even know who i am what a gust she has".

Mr kevin opened the door and came out of the board room with a dead pan look on his face

"Who the hell is she"

he asked gesturing to me

S... Sir Who? I stuttered looking confused

are you blind? he asked getting more annoyed

the lady in the red dress, who came out minute ago.

"now tell me.." who the hell is she! ? "he yelled

"oh Ok sir" i said swallowing the lump in my throat

"errrm"... her name is arianna richardson, she was the lady who kept takleling me as i try to make our presentation for the contract sir.. she didn't even spare me a chance to speak" i explained to him

"what a nerve, she got huh" he said with a scoff

" and.. have you met her before, like seen her anywhere before now" he questioned more further with his hands touching his brows in frustration

"n... not really sir" i stuttered getting really nervous

she must have really pissed him off for him to be this upset.. i thought in my mind

he stared at me for a moment to be assured am not hiding something

and with that he turned towards the exit leading to the lift and the body guards trail behind him

I quickly rushed after them not wanting to get on the bad side of mr Kevin cos anytime he's angry

there is always trouble ahead

I Wouldn't want to get fired from my job,

I still had so many responsibilities to take care of..

We got to the car space and mr Kevin car first took the lead.. followed by the body guards and i got into my car following their lead, with that we all drive out of the building heading to the office.

AT THE OFFICE ( Kevin groups of company)

"you can come in". I gestured to the knock at the door. the secretary already called minute ago telling mr benson... my private detective was looking for me.

"good day sir...". he greeted me smiling while i just nodded with a blank expression telling him to take a seat and which he did.

"now sir... how may i be of help to you today". he told me clearing his throat and adjusting his sunglasses on his face.

"yeah let get straight to business.. there's this lady i want you to uncover her identity for me.. her name is arianna richardson and well though i don't have her pictures but you can find out easily cos she's the winner of CGN contract.. and i want it to be find out as soon as possible". so do i make myself clear?.i asked him in a frown.

"definitely sir... trust me it will be done". he told me with an uneasiness on his eyes when he saw me frowning.

" so i will take my leave now sir... and will get back to you as soon as possible". he gestured stuttering and stood up heading to the door and closing it behind him.

I signed and rest my head back on the office chair and almost immediately my phone rang and i picked it up and swap the screen answering the call.

It was anthony one of my best buddy.. he called to remind me of our clubbing tonight and i was relief to hear that cos at least i will get to cool my nerves after this stressful and annoying day.
