TRIO LOVE STORY

CHAPTER 1 - COMEBACK

Life is full of surprises. One only knows what happened yesterday because tomorrow is a brand new day that already waited for us to walk through them.

An alluring young girl walked toward the B country airport VIP arrival entrance. Her pale snow-white long leg was exposed as she was wearing summer hot denim short pants, ignoring the chilly breeze in January.

Matched with her black three-inch high heel knee boot, make her 160 cm height look taller. Her choker style white gold necklace and an off-shoulder floral ruffle crop top make her shoulder look wide and seductive.

Plus her ash grey, dyed shoulder-length hair, nordic nose, almond shape, light brown eyes, and thin lips completed her perfect angelic look. Her backpack is swinging as she walks. Judging by her appearance, people easily know she comes from a well-bred family and that is Kalen Si.

"Oh my god, she looks so beautiful"

"Gosh, she's so sexy"

"Look at those perfect bodies and legs"

"Her skin is so fair and looks smooth"

There is a small crowd along the hallway to the exit. Even people around her said those with their low voices. She still can hear them, but she ignores them, just politely smiling and nodding her head back to them.

As soon as she smiled, people exclaimed again.

"Look at those long dimples!"

"God is so unfair!"

"She is so perfect"

She maintained her sweet, dimple smile at them. Continue walking toward the VIP arrival exit of the airport. She used to be called beautiful, attractive, pretty, sweet, and all kinds of praises that a female loves to hear.

That's why she is not easily shaken by those murmurs. She stood still right by the road as she was actually waiting for someone. She keeps looking at her watch on her wrist. Checking her phone from time to time.

'Humph... When will she become punctual?!' she thought angrily. A few moments later, her phone rang. She smirked and picked up the phone.

'Speaking of the devil!' she thought.

"Kalen, where are you? I'm waiting right here in front of the VVIP arrival entrance!"

A female voice echoed from the phone. She was no other than her best friend, Angel Ling.

"What a liar!" Kalen shouted in her low voice. She knew Angel must be late. Even though Angel is always late pretty much every time, she still couldn't help but get angry. Her flight was delayed, and yet she still has to wait for Angel.

"Hahahaha.." Angel burst out laughing. Angel knew her friend very well. She must have already waited for her. Even though Kalen herself is not a punctual person, Angel is worse than her.

"Angel! I've been standing and waiting for 10 minutes! Other than the black sedan, I did not see any of your cars before me!" Kalen replied, shouted again, gritted her teeth.

Angel giggled and said, "Hehehe. Don't be angry, my dear friend. I'll be right there in a few minutes!" Angel hangs up the call before Kalen could say something.

"Ugh... I hate you.." Kalen groaned. But who is just kidding? She loves her friends because to her, they are family, so precious. She treasured their friendship because she only got two of them in her life.

'I would be in the car right now if I asked my brother to pick me up!'. Kalen's thoughts and regretted her decision to make a surprise comeback for her family because she had to wait for her beloved best friend to pick her up. Things would be better because if she called her brother, no matter how busy he was, he still definitely had time for her.

Meanwhile, in the black sedan, while Kalen was regretting her decision, in Roll Royce Phantom to be exact, a pair of black deep eyes locked to Kalen's figure as she passed through the VIP entrance door.

"She is so beautiful!" He praised when he caught sight of a pretty, petite young girl walking out from the VIP door before she stood by the road. She looks annoyed and that makes her adorable.

'Wait, why do I have these thoughts?!... No! No!...' His logical thinking is trying to kick the train of thought of the beautiful lady before his eyes. But his eyes don't seem to be agreed as they budge a little since the very beginning.

As the car was tinted in thick black bulletproof glass, of course, Kalen did not notice a man who kept staring at her in the back seat car. From the moment she walks through the exit door, his eyes never leave her little figure. He happened to turn his head to the exit entrance right when Kalen stepped out from the door.

A few minutes later, Kalen, who had attached her phone, raised her head as she heard the Maserati engine roar and became closer to her. She flipped her hair with her right hand and smiled. Adam's apple of a man, who sits in the car, moves up and down as he swallows his dry saliva when he sees her action that arouses his sexual desire that he had securely controlled.

'Damn it!' he cursed himself in his mind. He kept on taking a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, lowering the heat rising within his body, adjusting his sitting posture to comfort the groin area that was getting tighter in his pants.

'She is just another beautiful girl,' he reminds himself. He keeps on calming himself while he keeps looking at Kalen.

For someone who is blessed with a handsome face, sexy well built tall body, and comes with enormous wealth and power, he used to see all kinds of women who threw themselves at him. But none of them got even a single glance from him. He is in a more conservative style.

He doesn't like the idea of fooling around. That kind of unhealthy lifestyle. He never bothered to have one.

Well, unlike his friend, Daniel Gu, who is always bragging before him and his other friend, Nathan Luo.

He and Nathan shared the same ideas of being traditional, while Daniel never hesitated to try every single lady that caught his attention.

But now, the sight of beautiful Kalen seemed to shake him a little, so he couldn't understand why. He rejected the ideas of the little Kalen successfully casting a spell on him.

I mean, who wouldn't be? Look at how beautiful she is. No imperfections can be found on her. Beautiful face, snow-white skin, petite body.

Even though she was 22 years old, one hardly guessed because her petite and tiny frame made her look like a teenager. He was disappointed when he saw a red Maserati approaching her and she smiled as she knew who was in the car.

Without realizing it, his hand formed a fist. Frustration, disappointment, anger, and all kinds of negative feelings build up in his mind. Not only is he a traditional man, but he is also indeed a possessive man. He does not like the idea of sharing.

Angel's car, Maserati, was tinted in black, so no one could see who was driving the car. Since it was a sports car, so natural in one head, the car belongs to a man. Little that he knows, the one who is behind the wheel is a little beauty who had a passion for such a car.

She is Angel Ling. The only daughter of Vern Ling. The Ling family is mainly involved in the tech business.

While the Kalen family is more on the hotel and real estate business. Both Ling and Si families are one of the top ten wealthiest families in the B country. Another friend of theirs is Farah Lu and also another daughter from a wealthy family and her family conquered the medical business as they owned the most well-known hospital and hundreds of its branches scattered in the country.

Kalen didn't have the slightest idea of her beauty that stirred up trouble for the most handsome, wealthy bachelor in B country, Jackson Mu.

CHAPTER 2 - MY LITTLE GIRL

"Jackson?"

"Jackson?"

Louis Mu is Jackson Mu's assistant. They are not related by blood, but Louis was raised by a Mu family when his parents died. Jackson's parents treated him as their own, so they changed his last name.

When he did not get a response from his boss in the back seat, he turned around and saw his boss's eyes look out the window. So immersed in the thing he saw. He followed his boss's gaze and saw a beautiful young girl standing in front of the entrance, then he raised his right corner lips.

'No wonder.' He thought.

He then took a deep breath and asked again, "Jackson, I received a call from Nathan's assistant. Something came up, and he canceled his flight."

Jackson's mind snaps back to reality when he hears the voice. He hates waiting for the most. If not because of his best friend, he wouldn't even bother to pick him up from the airport. He was angry about the fact that he already waited for half an hour, but now he had just been told that the brat canceled his flight.

But then something comes into his mind that if not because of him waiting for Nathan, he wouldn't have a chance to meet his little girl.

'Wait what?! My little girl?!'

He couldn't believe that his mind already marked that beautiful girl. He smiles at his thoughts.

Louis watched Jackson in silence through the rear mirror. He was expected to explode as usual when that kind of thing happened because he knew him very well since they shared their childhood to adulthood together. But instead of wrath and anger he expected, Jackson is fucking smile.

'What the hell?! What is going on?! What day is today? Am I dreaming? Is the world going to an end soon?....' He wondered.

Louis got every nonsense thing wandering in his mind. Because a miracle could only create Jackson's smile. Jackson had always been cold, serious-faced, and intimidating. So, it is not Louis's fault when he loses his mind when he sees Jackson's smile.

Jackson felt the weird silence in the car. He saw Louis's face, lost in his thoughts. He knew Louis must have his ridiculous thoughts right at the moment.

He quickly composed himself and said, "Stop with your nonsense! Go back to the company!"

Louis jumped a little when he heard Jackson's cold and stern voice.

Out of reflex, he immediately replied, "Yes Sir!"

Well, that is Jackson that he knows.

On their way back to the company, the image of the beautiful girl he just saw kept appearing in Jackson's mind. He closed her eyes, tried to calm himself, and shoved the image away. And yet there she goes, she appears again and again.

'No. No. No.' He keeps denying it in his mind. In the end, he decided to review a few documents on his iPad to keep his mind and thoughts busy from projecting the images of Kalen.

A red Maserati parked right before Kalen. A young girl dressed in midi white long sleeve v neck dress with her messy bun rushed toward Kalen. Her ivory skin tone, high bridge nose, hooded eyes, and bow-shaped lip make her beautiful as Kalen. But of course, they have their charm that makes people see their beauty differently.

Kalen stretches her hand when she sees Angel run toward her. They hugged each other tightly as they had been separated for 4 years, as Kalen chose to further her study in finance management in the US. Which is, of course, against her will. She never wanted to be involved in the family business, but again, since she was born in Si's family, her destiny was already set ahead and that was taking over the company one day in the future.

"Kalen, I miss you so much," said Angel in her soft voice.

"I miss you too Angel," said Kalen in her loving voice.

Angel then broke the embrace and grabbed Kalen's hand and said, "Let's go, I'll treat you to delicious French cuisine for lunch". Kalen was about to say something, but then she just followed Angel to her car. Kalen sighed as she saw Angel's excited face when they got in the car.

She had planned to see her father and brother at the Lux Empire company building. Lux Empire, the empire that was built by generations of her family, is now managed by her father as the President and her brother as CEO.

She wanted to see her father and brother right after she arrived. But she couldn't say that because she was afraid that Angel might be disappointed. Thinking about her cheerful face when she invited her for French lunch, she decided to get to Lux Empire right after having lunch with Angel.

Angel started the engine and drove away. The two girls chatted nonstop, as they had a lot of things to share. Both of them have lively personalities, so they get along very well chatting, laughing over their conversation.

Well, God is on Kalen's side this time when Angel's phone rang. Angel frowned when she saw the incoming call and tapped slightly on the screen on her car dashboard to answer the car.

"Hello, dad" Angel greeted her father.

The happy and lively Angel now turns to the sad one. Angel now lives alone with her father after her mother passed away. They used to be a happy family, and she was blessed with unconditional love from both of her parents. But somehow her father changed after her mother died. He spent more time in the company.

Meanwhile, Angel left at home, growing up and being an independent girl while silently grieving for losing her beloved mother. Again, lucky for her, her bestie is always by her side. Especially Kalen's mother, Marie, somehow brings warmth to Angel's heart, just like her mother always did.

"Ang, can you help Daddy fetch documents on the table in the study room at the house?". Asked a man in his polite tone. He was Angel's father, Vern Ling. Angel glanced at Kalen when she heard her father's request as if she was asking if she was okay with it, and Kalen nodded her head at her.

"Alright daddy. Okay bye" She hung up the call then looked at Kalen with her disappointed face and said with her sad voice, "I'm so sorry Kalen" Kalen heard Angel and her father's conversation.

Kalen smiles and comforts her. "That's alright Angel. You can send me to the Lux Empire first. Hey.. tonight we will have dinner together and have some fun at the bar!"

Much as she wants to see her family, she also didn't want her bestie to be sad. So, she practically said to hang out in the bar to divert Angel's attention and dismissed her disappointment.

Angel's disappointed face was immediately gone when she heard Kalen mention the bar. She doesn't even hear any word before "the bar" word!

She then bumps slightly her fist on Kalen's shoulder and exclaims delightfully, "You naughty girl! Then we will meet at Old Place. Alright?!"

Kalen nodded her head at her.

"I will make a reservation," Angel happily said.

Little that those two beautiful girls know, their life is going to take a 360-degree spin later that night.

CHAPTER 3 - PRINCESS OF SI FAMILY

Fifteen minutes later, Angel's car arrived at the lobby entrance of Lux Empire. Kalen bids goodbye to Angel and kisses her cheek.

When Kalen exited the car door, people stared at her with different expressions on their faces.

Kalen ignored their indifferent gaze.

Walk past the automatic sliding door, then continue toward the receptionist's desk. As she was walking toward the receptionist's desk, she noticed that the receptionist's face looked at her with a disgusted look.

"What a bold fashion sense!" said the receptionist, with Sara on the nametag pinned on her right chest.

"Is she someone's mistress?" asked another receptionist. It is Sara's best friend, Mia.

"She looks familiar. Is she some new actress or model?" asked the receptionist with the name Shelly.

Those three receptionists considered themselves as beautiful women. Well, they are beautiful but typically.

They discussed among themselves with their low voice but still can be heard by others as they intended Kalen to hear them. Kalen took a deep breath. She knows her clothes are provocative somehow. She clenched her fist then smiled and politely asked Mia, "Is the CEO in the office?"

Mia rolled her eyes and said indifferently, checking her manicure nail, "Do you have an appointment?"

Mia didn't intend to entertain her as she was supposed to do. It was almost lunch break hour when Kalen arrived and there were a lot of eyes that keep looking at her.

Kalen, however, still shows her smiles, trying hard to suppress her anger. She knew her clothes were a bit too much, but that doesn't mean they can treat her like that. And she now really regrets not informing her family regarding her return.

'Just you wait!' she thought while gritting her teeth. The other two receptionists, Sara and Shelly, watched Kalen with an intense gaze, seizing her up and down. Trying to find her imperfections unfortunately they couldn't!. That makes their eyes filled with envy and jealousy.

However, when Kalen was about to say something, she heard people say it repeatedly.

"Good afternoon Sir"

"Good afternoon Sir"

Kalen noticed the three rude receptionists straightened their clothes, fixed their hair, and adjusted their postures.

She turned her body to the voice and saw a man with a handsome and cold face plus the domineering aura around him make him so attractive, but not approachable.

He was her beloved brother, Kevin Si! He just passed the entrance and was about to walk toward the VIP elevator.

Kevin paused his pace when he saw people in the lobby murmuring something, pointed at the receptionist's desk. He squirmed half of his eyes and met Kalen's eyes, and he was immediately shocked.

"Isn't she supposed to be in the US?." Kevin asked himself.

"He is so handsome," Said Mia

"He looks at me"

Now Sara excitedly uttered those words. The other two squirmed, their eyes at her.

Those receptionists thought their CEO was finally looking at them. They completely forgot about a beautiful young lady who stood before them.

Kalen giggled when she saw her brother's expression. She knew exactly what's in his mind. She then runs excitedly toward her brother.

The receptionist was shocked and stood still as their mind went blank and did not know what to do. They wanted to stop her but too late as Kalen jumped and threw herself to her brother with her both hands, grabbing and locking behind Kevin's neck tightly and resting her head on his shoulder. Kevin's firm stand swayed one step back because of her sudden jump.

Now, Kevin also holds her by her waist and closes his eyes, and softly, lovingly patted her back. Embraced by her brother suddenly makes Kalen sad and overwhelmed with emotion.

How time passed, and she missed her family so badly. Since she was studying in the US, she only got time to return to B country during her semester breaks. But her family also never missed a chance and visited her in the US regularly from time to time.

With her tears and sobbing voice, she said, "Brother, I miss you so much!"

Even in her low voice, people could hear every single word she said.

"What?!"

"What?!"

"Brother?!"

That word keeps being repeated by people in the lobby. The receptionist, who was so arrogant just now, immediately kept their head low as their face went pale. Well, well. Their ignorance now backfired.

"There, there. I missed you too." Kevin slowly rubbed Kalen's back. His soft and tender voice showed how much his sister means to him. His employees were shocked because they never heard and saw that kind of side of him.

Now they know the little girl in his arms is so precious to him. All the people in B country knew about the Si family daughter but for safety reasons, only a little information of her can be found, let alone seeing her face!

Suddenly, Kevin realized they were in the middle of the lobby, where everyone was looking at them.

'This is dangerous,' He said in his mind. He then turned his head. His eyes met his assistant, and he nodded his head.

Years of working with Kevin, Jared knew everything that he wanted, even just by a single glance. Sparing no single second, he started taking action.

"Everyone, get back to your work and business," said Jared with his firm and stern voice.

Everyone in the lobby immediately dispersed and got back to their business.

Kalen, who was still holding Kevin with her feet hanging a few centimeters from the floor, also gradually broke the embrace and stood in front of her brother.

Kevin wiped her tears with both of his hands and said, "Alright. Let's go to Daddy's office". He grabbed her hand and walked toward the elevator.

As they passed the receptionist's desk, she halted her track, and Kevin wondered why.

"What's wrong?" He asked. Kalen spared a glance and smirked at the receptionist. By now, they knew who she was. It must frighten them as their job is on the line. They knew Lux Empire is one of the most elite companies and offered high salaries together with significant benefits.

They couldn't afford to lose their job because of their careless attitudes. They immediately lowered their heads. They knew their faults and even offended their boss's sister.

"Nothing. I just think that our receptionist is really beautiful with great manners." Kalen said with obvious sarcasm. She purposely emphasized the word GREAT MANNER.

Kevin seemed to understand something and threw his typical disdainful glance at them. Even with their heads lowered, they could feel the intense glance of their CEO. Kevin said nothing, he just nodded at Jared, and he knew how to handle the rest.

Just like that, they fired the three receptionists. The Lux Empire had a great reputation to maintain, and they might taint it with their poor attitude and behavior. One should entertain their customers no matter who they are and what they wear. The Si family itself always treated everyone equally. The wealth didn't make them hold their head up and belittle others.
