I listened to his normal rants and motivational quotes to make me feel better which only worsen it, I just want to leave this hell of a place and rest my head on the bed to blubber, Sob and cry as usual.

Life has been so unfair to me, My mom who was my only hope remarried and abandoned me four months ago, I had to apply for a scholarship and eventually got transferred here to continue my study since I couldn't sponsor myself anymore.

This is the time I needed Dad the most but I only had the chance to spend ten years with him, He died twelve years ago the day after my birthday party.

I found myself becoming better, Crawling out of my lonely world few months ago, Finally getting out of that fu*cked up lonely shell, I started going to house parties, Drink alcohols responsibly, Go out on a few dates not until mom announced to the whole family that she's getting married.

I became so lonely, Broken, Financially handicapped,I don't have any money on me, No financial support since my mom got married to the mysterious man,I fell into depression weeks ago, I had no other choice than to spend my savings on buying antidepressants and book an appointment with one of the best counselor.

That's the only last thing I could do, But I guessed a therapy session doesn't work for everyone, I think I'm part of the unfortunate ones.

"Miss. Alessia, Can you listen to me?"He tapped the table softly,I nodded before letting out a fake smile, The frequent fake smiles I do give him.

He sighs softly and dropped his glasses, I was able to check his features well.

He should be in his late forties, His brown orbs rolled dramatically as he counsels me, He looked more of like an American than Italian.

I nodded at intervals trying to assimilate whatever he's saying, I wished I could stop him but that will be too rude.

"Why can't things work out the way we want?,why does it have to be so?"I asked and he let out a nervous laugh.

"We can't have all what hoped for,Life gets uninteresting"

"Uninteresting?, It's tiring now"I grumbled, He placed his elbow on the table and stared at me keenly.

"Stop bottling all the emotions,you should let it out,It's okay for you to cry,Stop trying to act like you're strong, You're just two years above twenty but you've faced some shits you shouldn't have went through,Don't you think it will be too cruel for you to bottle them up again?, When you can actually let all your emotions out"He said softly, I felt my eyes glittered, Holding whatever I can get hold off to stop me from crying, Fu*ck!, This won't end good.

"I got tired of crying,It doesn't work anymore"I cracked, My voice came out with tiny sobs, The tear slipped down my face again.

Damn!

"You're resuming school tomorrow, Make new friends, Try to be more outspoken, Get outta that shell, Look for part time jobs to keep yourself busy, It surely helps"He pressed a little further, I nodded slowly, I honestly don't want to press this more further, This will be the last time I will be coming to his office for counselling, My session expired already.

"I will do that, Thank you"I mumbled before walking out of the office after handing me the new drugs prescribed for me.

INSERT TWO

I took the elevator since I don't have any strength to walk,Once it landed, I stepped out of the company.

I waited for another thirty minutes waiting to the public bus.

Few minutes later, I was finally home,Curled up on the bed.

Aunty Melissa will soon be back with her kids, I need to get some rest before I could be able to deal with her yells.

I started staying here with my uncle four months ago after my mom remarried, He's working at a big hotel down the street, He's not actually a problem to me but his wife is a bone in my throat.

She's aggressive, Sophisticated and use every opportunity to lash at me, Blaming me for the misfortunes happening in the family ever since I started staying with them.

It' the bitter truth, Aunty Melissa lost her lucrative job a week I relocated and things hasn't been that rosy at home.

I'm so tired.

A HOUR LATER

A loud bang on my door woke me up, This is the longest nap I've ever had. I rose from the bed lazily to attend to the door.

I guessed Aunty Melissa is back.

I opened the door to meet an angry face of her glaring at me.

"Did you have clog in your ears?,I've been banging the door repeatedly"She talked with fury laced in her voice.

"I was sleeping, Welcome back"I greeted politely, She scoffed.

"Have you done the laundry?"

"Yes"

"The car?"

"It has been washed"

"Cleaning?"

" I did it already"

"Kayla's..."

" I did everything you instructed me to do"I cut her off tiredly, She straightened her dress and that was when I noticed that she's dressed up already.

Only God knows where's going to again.

"I'm going to Ma'am Clara's house, She hosted a dinner for her birthday party, Once your uncle is back from the shift, Prepare a good meal for him and tuck Kayla to the bed, Make sure she doesn't cry"She emphasized on the word cry, Kayla's her four year old daughter, An angel unlike her mom.

She's more smarter than her age and give me less issues, I found it surprising that Aunty Melissa cared more about outing than her daughter and husband, But she's perfect in showing the normal fake love, Fake smiles to her daughter everytime although Kayla isn't buying it.

"Okay"I replied simply before going back to the bed.

"Kayla's sleeping, Tell her mommy will be back soon"She yelled after me, I didn't reply, I slumped on the bed back again.

After preparing dinner, Uncle John arrived few minutes later, I prepared his food and fed Kayla hers, I was straddling her on my laps when he asked of his wife.

"You just noticed her absence?"I joked and he roll his eyes.

"You know that I don't care much about her whereabouts, I just want to know, She's a party woman, I shouldn't be worried about her"He rolls his eyes again.

I nodded before replying. "She told me Mrs. Clara is hosting a dinner for her birthday"

"She talked about it once but I didn't reply"

"Ohhh"I mouthed but he didn't reply with anything, Kayla made a slight movement in my arms, I pet her back to sleep, After a little while, I heard her soft snores.

Uncle came back to the living room minutes later, He sat in front of me playing with the remote.

"You're leaving tomorrow"He said softly, It isn't a question but I still have to answer anyways.

"Yes"I mumbled, He sighed again.

"Will you be fine?"He asked, A little bit worried and I drooped.

Honestly, I don't know maybe I will be fine in the new school, Since I'm a student on scholarship, I won't be able to have opportunities like other students will, It's a university for the elites, I'm resuming as a final year student, I only have the opportunity to work twenty hours weekly which made things quite difficult.

Before I will be able to cover up my personal expenses and everything,I will be in debts already.

"I don't know"I said truthfully. I don't know maybe I will be fine.

"You just finished a session with one of the best councelor in the town, But I can't see any changes, I knew everything going on with you, The midnight whimpers and cries, Trying to bottle everything, My wife being harsh on you, I knew everything, Your anxiety and social issues, I know everything, Your mom failed you as a mother, I failed you as your uncle, I'm sorry I wasn't able to do anything for you, I'm sorry, I'm deeply sorry"

"No,you don't have to be sorry for my misfortunes, I'm sorry for causing you troubles, I hope I will be able to make it up to you"I sobbed.

He walked up to me and collected Kayla from me, He laid her on the other couch and returned to me, I hugged him immediately and burst into tears.

"I'm sorry"He whispered again.

After some minutes, I raised my head up to him, He smiled sadly.

"I will miss you"He cooed.

"Me too"

"Your mom called"He said softly, I frowned and moved away from him.

"Really?,after four months?"I rolled my eyes and he sighed.

Ever since she got married to the mysterious man, She hasn't called nor text.

My mom's a carefree woman, Even when Dad's alive, She cared less about me, I'm not surprised when she came with a ring on her finger that she's married again.

"She asked of you, And how you're coping with the new environment,I told her you're doing well"

Of course, I'm doing well indeed.

"I don't want to talk about her"I snapped, He nodded immediately.

"You should go take some rest, I will drive you to the school myself, Make sure you don't forget anything"

"Sure Uncle, Thank you"I smiled at him before scooping Kayla in my arms, I tucked her to the bed.

I returned to my room to grab some sleep.

INSERT THREE

THE NEXT MORNING

I was unable to close my eyes for up to two hours last night which really affected me this morning.

I don't get to sleep anymore these days, I hope changing of environment will help.

I'm so stressed out.

After washing Kayla's up in the bathroom, I carried her to the bedroom to dress her up for school.

Aunty Melissa arrived late last night, She was unable to get up quick to take care of Kayla.

I hope she will be able to cope once I leave for school.

"Mom told me you're leaving today"She said softly and I nodded without looking at her.

This is the conversation I've been avoiding to have with her, No matter how I tried to bring myself to tell her about my admission, I fumbled.

I don't want to hurt her, I got attached to her through these four months I spent with them, She lightens up my mood anytime she's around.

I will definitely miss Kayla.

I slided her legs into the pants and wore it for her properly.

"Will you come back?"She whines and I nodded.

"Of course,I won't live in the school forever"I chuckled.

"Mom doesn't care about me, Can you take me along with you?"She pouted, I took a deep breath before facing her.

"Hey, you will be fine without me, I will talk to your mom to take care of you well, Don't worry, I will come home frequently"I assured her even though it's a lie.

I'm never coming back here again, I will make sure to look for a part time job and be able to take care of my expenses without my uncle's help.

Aunty Melissa frustrated me well enough for the past four months, I don't think I will be able to endure it anymore.

"I will miss you"

"I will miss you too,Kayla"I said softly before styling her hair.

After I'm done with the dressing, I carried her carefully to the living room and met Uncle there dressing up for work already.

"Good Morning Uncle"I beamed at him, He flashes his white teeth at me and hugged his daughter.

"Good Morning Sia,You good?"He asked and I nodded gently.

"I will take Kayla along with me so you will be able to grab some sleep, I'm travelling to the next town for some official duties so I won't be able to take you along, I transferred some money into your PayPal, You should use it for the meantime, Please take care of yourself, Sia"He pacified me gently, I nodded before hugging him again.

He chuckled and patted my back.

"I will miss you but you need to study first, Make sure you do the right things at the right time "He continues, I nodded before pulling away from the hug.

"Thank you,I promise to make you proud"

"Of course, you have no choice"He joked, He bade me goodbye before leaving the house.

After he left with Kayla, I cleaned up the kitchen, I was eating already by the time Aunty Melissa stepped out of her room.

She look so horrible with her rough hair and swollen lips, Guess she got laid at Mrs. Clara house last night.

I don't know why my uncle doesn't care about her wayward lifestyle or maybe he got tired of complaining already.

Aunty Melissa is such a handful to handle.

"Good Morning Aunty Melissa"I greeted softly and focused on my food.

"Where's my husband?"She asked in a cracked voice.

"He left for work already, I prepared breakfast"I mumbled and she scoffed before walking past me to the kitchen.

She stopped suddenly and walk back to me.

"Wait, You're leaving today right?"she asked and I nodded.

"How are you going to cope?"

"Not like you care"I sneer before taking a big bite from my drumstick.

"I didn't care of course,I just don't want you to tarnish our image there in your school"

"How will I tarnish your image?, Not like you cared about me and my behaviors"

"You mustn't tell my husband you caught me cheating on him, I shouldn't hear this from anyone"She said in an intimidating voice but I don't care about her cheating on another man.

My brother knew about it, Who am I to report to him?

"Why doing it when it's obvious already?"I asked and she suddenly pull my full hair, Grabbing a handful from it.

I whimpered slowly trying to free myself from her, It hurts.

"Stop"I cried, she yanked it more harder, I bit my lips to stop me from crying.

"I gave you a warning, You must stick to it whether you like it or not you a*sshole"She yelled, I nodded immediately.

"Ye.. yes, Let go of my hair now"I sobbed, She pushed me away roughly, My head hit the hard wall violently, I burst into tears as the pains drove through my body.

I hold my head in pains, She walked past me not minding the damage she caused.

"Don't prove to be hard, You're just a coward stuck with nightmares, Depression and overthinking, You're nothing but a waste you daughter of a bit*ch"She spat on me before leaving the room.

Oh, God!, When will this end?

ENEA POV

"Do you think this is a good solution?, Going to Australia?, Because of this fu*cked up man?"Tyler asked angrily.

"Shut the fu*ck up dude, You know I have no other choice than to do this?"

"You can bring him down within the twinkle of an eye, You have spies surrounding his vicnity, Even his right hand man is working for you?, Tell me, What else do you need to bring him down? "

"He has lots of Allies, Even if I bring him down, His Allies won't be at bay until they end me"

"En..."

"You're going or not?, You promised to follow me anywhere I go"I asked jokingly and he rolled his eyes.

"Fu*cking idiot"He sneers, I chuckled.

Liliana walked into the room looking hot as usual, Cladded in a straight black gown with an expensive jacked on it, Her long tanned legs walked in prettily. She bows slightly at Tyler and the latter waved his hand at her.

That's one thing about Tyler, He doesn't fancy girls, They are weakness according to him, He fu*ck who*res for fun.

Nothing more.

Liliana's one of my seductress, She's been with me for the past five years after I relocated to UK, She's one my best workers who stayed with me through thick and thin, She has never showed a liking for me which I deeply respects her for it.

"Any update?"I asked putting on my clothes and she nodded.

"Cole is back in town"She reported, My muscles tensed up immediately, That sni*tch dare show himself in my territory?

"That damned Rus*sian"Tyler seethed angrily.

"How did you know?"I asked not minding Tyler outburst and she smiled.

"I have my ways boss, He just got a stripper's club down the street, One of our spies told me he will be there tonight"

"I will update you about it before Night reaches, Send a message to Kenny, She should be here too"

"Sure boss"

"What are you going to do?"Tyler questions immediately she's out of the room.

"Get my deal back and clear him, You have a plan?"

"That's exactly my plan"He grins.
