"I understand karma don't worry my father will arrive in a few days time and everything will become official."

He assured her resting her head on his chest smoothly stroking her hair as they looked into the dark night.

The sun shone brightly to karma's room as she opened her eyes bit by bit yawning widely yesterday's exercise with Antonio drained her energy up she blushed remembering it all she quickly looked at the side but couldn't find Antonio she looked into the blanket she covered herself with and realized she is still naked she quickly ran to the bathroom and freshened up then went down and met Antonio and her little sister discussing.

Catherine is 23 years old while karma will be 25 in three days time Catherine has a lovely feminine look her hair is fair and short just at her shoulders unlike karma's whose hair is at the bottom of her buttocks. "Antonio I'm happy you came I know karma will be delighted to see you!"Catherine said smiling as a maid turned tea for them both.

"Of course I am delighted to see you all too visiting this palace again has given me great joy" he replied.

"I'm really sorry I wasn't around to wait for your arrival I went to attend to some things!"She apologized.

"Yes! Karma said so you were busy with your teacher he smiled and Catherine returned the smile too."

"Antonio!"Karma called patting his shoulders.

"I see you already feel at home she said"

"Sure! This has always been a home he replied kissing the back of her palm"

"I beg to take my leave with karma my lady! He said"

"Alright please be careful"

Said Catherine to Antonio though she is the younger but always looks after karma.

Few minutes after they left lady Misa came to met Catherine.

"Why are you not at the dinning table?"She asked sitting down.

"I was only welcoming karma's fiance I'm not ready for breakfast."She answered

"And what is the little princess doing today?"Lady Misa asked concerned

"Going for classes she replied trying to leave."

Honestly the presence of her step mother anonys her a lot after her parents died something keeps telling her that lady Misa is in for no good.

"Not so soon dear!"Lady misa said holding Catherine's wrist

"I have come to discuss something important with you please sit down."

She said taking her seat as well.

Catherine Looked at her and sat down eager to hear what she wants to say.

"I'm certain you are aware karma will soon get married? She asked not expecting an answer I was wondering, isn't it time you get a suitor?"She said and Catherine Looked in surprise.

"Getting a suitor? She asked surprised I'm not ready for that.she said plainly".

"I'm not asking for your opinion I'm only telling you because I will get you a suitor soon and that person is Antonio she said evily."

"What? Catherine asked in doubts."

" Look around and see you both are compatible I know Antonio prefers you to your sister" remember I'm older than you and I'm your mother as well.

Catherine looked at her speechless she couldn't utter any word and just looked in disbelief.

"I will give you time to think about it three days time is your sister's birthday you can request a gift from her I know she will Grant your request ask for Antonio"

She said smiling like the devil herself.

Catherine watched as she walked out of her presence and wondered what an human she is. she quickly left to get her lessons considering no word of lady Misa.

Karma and Antonio went out of the palace touring the woods karma haven't been to this part before though she is so good at breaking rules but didn't dare to come this far as she heard of witches.

"Antonio where are you going? She asked a bit scared"

"I'm taking you on a tour and also you are going to fight me"He replied

"Fight you? She asked not understanding anything he is saying."

"You are going to show me how talented you are with swords"He said and karma smiled proudly.

She is very good in using swords she is a demigod in it non of the soliders are equal to her expect the army commander.

"Well I don't have to show you as I will slain you alive"She teased.

"I love your confident"Antonio replied with a smirk.

Quickly Antonio threw her a sword and she caught it in the air swinging it around it really long since she held a sword after the death of her parents,she haven't gone for training.

Antonio positioned his swords and swinged it with less energy yet faster like a lighting seeing this karma marvelled but she won't let down her guard she swinged hers as their swords colliding keeping the wood alive with it's sound.

"What? Antonio asked you have to fight me like an enemy" he said to her.

Karma held back her stamina and quickly attacked Antonio at the heart.

"Give up she said"

"Never! Antonio replied quickly jumping up"

He swinged his sword with seriousness and focus seeing karma really has skills he flipped it in the air and caught it again now without hestitation,he quickly attacked her smashing her swords out of her hand,he hand placed his swords at the back of her heart.

Karma stood frozed as she didn't see that coming she stared at him as he lend his hands she took it after sometime

"How did you do that? She asked"

"Never turn to pick a sword he said ignoring her questions."

"Let's go! He said and karma stood in disappointment."

"I will certainly win you in the palace it's because I'm not used to the woods she said sadly"

"Hahaha Antonio laughed a warrior is used and familiar to everywhere did you see, you haven't mastered your skills"

He said teasely. Of a Truth karma is really an expert he only used his powers on her and karma,she got carried away by watching his cool moves.

They drove silently to the palace.

"Catherine!"Lady Misa called

" Yes! " She answered standing at her front.

"I just want to ask you have you considered what I told you about?"

"My lady! I can't consider such a thing as a matter of fact it can't be possible prince Antonio is karma betrothed and everyone is aware of that!"

She said calmly hoping she will forget the Matter.

"Well, if you say so but then do you know one can change their fate?"

She asked and Catherine looked in surprise.

"I mean it's true prince Antonio is karma's betrothed but I tell you prince Antonio loves you a great deal you can change this fate by getting married to Antonio and....."

"What? " Catherine asked annoyed.

"Calm down Princess, "I'm only telling you what I saw"

"Permit me to tell you that prince Antonio only loves me as a sister in-law and nothing more."

"Well I'm afraid but know that the kingdom of OME needs a heir and in due time" She said trying to walk away while karma entered in immediately.

"And that is why I am here because in three days time I will take over the throne of my father's the kingdom of OME I will be her queen!"

"That's absolutely great!"

Lady Misa answered in an evil manner.

"That's why father had got her betrothed."

Catherine stated.

"How is Antonio?"Asked Catherine

"Oh! He is in the room attending to some things". She answered.

"Karma I want to have a word with you"

Lady Misa said after sometime

"Shall I come along? "Asked Catherine.

"There won't be any need for you to."

Lady Misa answered.

They walked out leaving Catherine standing there alone she looked for awhile and left retiring to her room.

While lady Misa was walking with karma she thought of the threat this children will be to her if any of them ascends the throne she thought of a better way to get rid of royalty from them especially when the kingdom has a lot of treasures.

"Seems you have forgotten where you started from?"

She asked karma while they continued walking.

"How my lady?"She asked confused.

"Do you forget such favours easily?"

She asked again not looking at her.

"Come in!"

She said to her as she used her magic to open a secret door in the palace.

"Wow! "

Karma exclaimed seeing the magnificent of the the room that doesn't look like a room it looked like a mansion built into the palace it's so colourful to behold.

"Remembered something?"

Asked lady Misa and karma shook her head.

"Well I have brought you here for a special reason!"

She said looking at her from the corner of her eyes while sipping the tea she made.

"What did you say to your sister back there in the palace?"

She asked not smiling anymore.

"Oh! Karma remembered what is this woman trying to do? "

She thought in her heart faking a smile.

"Well in three days time is my birthday and that day, I will be officially crowned the queen of OME kingdom everyone knows that."

"Of course everyone knows."She said laughing.

"Haven't I told you to leave the throne to me?"

Lady karma asked irritated.

"Never! That is my right! It's mine the goddess choosed me."

She said standing up.

"Hahahaha!!!" Little child!!! Hrrh!!

"Listen my dear it's obvious you can't ascend the throne" She said and karma hissed.

"Ohh! She thinks I'm joking listen a crime above all crime have you committed and...."

"You can't fool me any more!!"

Karma interrupted her in anger

"I'm no longer your puppet you want to have me back? Never!!"

Hahahaha!!!! Lady Misa laughed loudly.

"You are my puppet and you will always be listen now I have fooled you before like you said and I will fool you again.but this time, I'm ain't fooling you I will control you. Hahaha!!"

"You are saying nonsense."Karma stated sitting down.

"Well princess,now you are sitted can I say something sensible?"

She asked without waiting for an answer she continued.

"Leave the throne for your sister! She said to her."

"Why? "Asked karma confused.

To lady Misa she knows Catherine can't rule she isn't the heir she will tell the people that karma isn't ready to rule that Catherine should and Catherine on the other hand, won't want to rule she will consider it a sin converting her sister's right.then she lady Misa will rule after all she was the kings wife and she is...even though she has remarried.

"Well, I meant don't you see the way your sister looks at your betrothed?"

"Don't try to confuse me what are you up to?"

Karma asked annoyed.

"If you won't leave the throne for me then leave it for your sister after all when she finally seduce Antonio to her side she will be able to rule also, don't forget Antonio is also the reason you will ascend that throne because notwithstanding you are the rightful heir the people can still pull you down if you don't have a husband no one wants a flirting queen an immature one."

She said to her harshly.

"And that is why I have Antonio but my sister can still have another man why Antonio. Well, lady Misa I know my sister too well she can't do that."

Karma said getting fed up by the discussion.

"Little girl! Forget who you think your sister is she is nothing like that meanwhile it's you and I here are you leaving the throne for me or what? "

"Never! "Karma said with authority.

"How will you ascend the throne then my Princess,? ". I have watched over the throne for you forty years back and now, you won't let me get the necessary reward I deserve? "

"Your reward is to rot in hell."

"Hahaha I and hell are compatible my Princess well until you make up your mind just be aware that I have your secrets with me."And you can't escape judgement"

Speaking of secret karma became weak to her marrows she knows lady Misa knows it all and haven committed such sin, she won't be able to rule what now should she leave the throne for lady karma or to her sister?

"I want to leave please!"She said weakly

She unlocked the door with her magic and karma walked out while she was out,she turned to see if lady Misa was coming but there weren't any door there just walls with caved images just the way it has been. She stood raising her hands up and towards the door but nothing happened she tried again but nothing happened.

"Ohhh! Want to do something? You mean this?"

Lady Misa asked doing the exact same thing karma was doing and the door appeared.karma looked in shock.

"Lesson number one you have to follow my orders from now on and Don't argue with me and oh! Yes your Powers hahahaha."

She laughed like a witch and karma can hear and feel the effect of the life as it echoed and vibrated everywhere.

"Your Powers are gone!" She said in a pitiful tone.

"No! She said calmly then loudly"

"No!! Noooo!!!!! Tell me it's a joke."

"Hahaha ohh was it a lie then how could you not have been able to deafeat Antonio in the woods and used your powers on him when you tried oh poor princess. Your Powers are now mine hahaha."

"Maybe it's true lady Misa now does things she does with her powers being invincible detecting when there is a hidden source ability to see through far and hear people's conversation from afar."

She asked wailing.

"But before she could say anything lady Misa have left."

"No! Tell me this is a joke no!!."

🏵️Lady Misa in her Chambers with lord Zin 🏵️.

"I am worried!" Zin said sitting up from the bed.

"About what?"Asked lady Misa

"How will you be able to take the throne from her it's three days to her birthday you have to find a way so we can ascend the throne and free from this curse."

Lord Zin explained

"Don't worry I have talked to the girl though she is proving strong but trust me I always have my way on doing things"

She said looking outside into the forest

"I assure you the party won't hold!"

"How do you mean!"

"Your questions irritate me Zin, you act as though you are a mere human."

"But I was am half human"

"And me? Listen Zin I have acquired many powers I have gone through hell I have seen the devil and I have returned to this world only because of this curse to break or become free from it."

"We can only be free but can't break the curse so we just pass it on to king Jasper Children."

"Exactly what I'm doing!"Said lady Misa with wide eyes.

"I know but dealing with karma is very difficult you know is powerful."

"Hahaha! Not anymore she isn't equal to me though and you know,when one has been deeply rooted in sin they can't anymore have control over their good fortunes hahahaha leave her to me."

She laughed wickedly romancing Lord zin's chest.

"Very soon we will be free and live together forever!"Hahahaha".

Karma walked lazily to her room crying seriously

"that can't be true no!!".

She kept saying to herself Rolling on the bed with tears in her eyes she sobbed on the pillow weting it.

"Karma!! Sis! "

Catherine called peeping through as she opened the door when no one answered her.

"Hey sister! She called again but karma didn't move."

Catherine stood wondering why karma is laying like that without saying any word she heard her sob and confirmed something was definitely wrong.

"Karma! Did she say anything to you? She asked worried"

"I...well.. I'm fine! I'm fine nothing happened."

She said cleaning her tears.

"Are you sure? Then why crying?"

"Well, I was just.. you know it's my birthday week and dad and mom aren't here I was just missing them that's why!"

"Ohh! It's true sister but I'm always here for you! Don't worry I know that they will be very proud of you wherever they are."

She said wiping karma's tears while stroking her hair gently.
