Chapter 1 Sheep of the

Kyra's POV

"Kyra!" my elder sister, Lisa, shouted from downstairs. I was up in my bedroom reading some magazine I had found on the couch downstairs.

I didn't have the power to answer because it was obviously one of her tantrums. It was always the torture Kyra game in this house.

"Kyra London Casella!" she shouted. She was probably trudging upstairs now. My family members calling me by my full name meant fire. I had asked for it anyway but was it really necessary to answer a scolding call?

In two minutes my door burst open revealing Lisa. She glared at me with her you-have-not-seen-the-last-of-me eye.

"I've been calling you for ages yet you've been here all along pretending you couldn't hear me, Kyra and what on earth are you doing with my magazine. I thought I warned you not to touch my things without my permission," she hissed snatching the magazine away from me leaving marks on my hand with her long expensive nails.

As if the drama wasn't enough, my mother, Flavia Casella, made her entry with her other son aka Lisa's twin brother, Layton, right behind her. Save me, Lord.

"Can we ever get peace in this house? What's the ruckus about now?" Mom asked.

I remained silent looking at them. I didn't want any trouble.

"I think it's high time you got rid of Kyra, Mother. I just can't stand her anymore. You have to take action," Lisa flared folding her arms.

"Kyra, what have you done this time?" Mom asked shooting me daggers.

Of course, in terms of picking sides, my mom always favored her eldest two.

"Does it always have to be my fault or something I did Mom?" I said softly looking straight into her eyes.

If someone was to come up with a theory that she wasn't my biological mother and they weren't my biological siblings I'd believe them without a second thought.

"Show some respect to your mother, Kyra," Layton warned typing something on his phone. He was just like the rest.

"Does she ever respect me? It's like she has two children and I'm just a nobody in this house."

"Yes, that's what you are! You thought you were some princess? You disgust me. You resemble nothing Casella worthy. You are a disgrace to our family," Lisa spat at me venomously.

It hurt. It hurt a lot. Yes, I knew that was the case but they didn't have to rub it in my face. My eyes had already welled up tears threatening to spill.

"Why? What did I do wrong? What did I do to deserve all this hatred from you?"

My eyes were filled to the brim with tears but it didn't faze them even one bit.

"Dad died because of you, Kyra. It was purely your fault. I just wish it had been you who died in that accident not him. We will never forgive you for snatching away the best man from this planet," Layton spat at me.

If I had been close to him he'd have slapped me hard.

"How was I supposed to know we'd crash that day?" I defended myself.

"You were stubborn to go out, Kyra. Your childish tantrums cost me my husband, Kyra."

"But..."

"Has anyone ever told you how irritating your voice is? Your voice is so low and scratching. Maybe you should try and speak less because I'm sure no one would be interested in hearing your voice," Lisa advised and walked out without waiting for my reply.

Mom and Layton followed suit banging the door.

I felt an inexplicable lump lodge in my throat. I fell into a disheveled heap on the floor and my tears involuntarily spilled down my cheeks.

I was bleeding inwardly. Maybe they were right. Maybe it was my fault but I'd never hurt my best friend and superman on this entire planet.

Gerald Casella was my everything. I remembered his death every day as if it were yesterday. Everything had happened so fast that I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye or try to save him.

He saved me but couldn't save himself. The guilt I felt was intense.

Before his death everything was perfect. We were the perfect family. I was a daddy's girl and everyone's favorite. I used to smile too, laugh, and be the life of the party.

His death was a wind of change. I lost everything that day. I lost my family, my inner self, hope itself, and my voice too.

I couldn't raise my voice anymore because when the car burst into flames I screamed so loud that I damaged myself. I didn't have the confidence to do so anyway.

Sometimes I wished I had died in his place. We couldn't live without each other. I was dying from the inside.

It had already been five years now and I still missed him every day.

I wiped away my tears and hugged my trembling knees reminiscing on all the memories.

If only I could turn back time.

Lisa and Layton were twenty-six-year-olds, Lisa being a top model with beauty and brains. She had everything a lady needed. She was currently the top paid model in the state.

Layton had taken over the company. He was the new CEO. He was very popular, successful, and drop-dead gorgeous. He was popular among ladies especially models of the same class and businesswomen.

Flavia Casella, my mom, was a board member at the company and she ran a successful boutique in town. She was filthy rich and it was all purely from hard work. She had the typical Casella looks and appeared younger than her age.

Then me. Kyra London Casella. Call me the black sheep. The unpopular one. At the age of twenty-five, I had nothing and sadly no one. I was educated but had to find myself a job. I never went out in public to avoid embarrassing my picture-perfect family.

I took a deep breath and got up. For five years I had been waiting for that light at the end of the tunnel. Where was it?

Three hours later around two in the afternoon Lisa burst into my bedroom a bright smile plastered on her gorgeous face.

Awkward. She was holding a big box which she put down and rushed over to embrace me. She hugged me so tight that I almost thought my Lisa was back but a thought struck my mind. She was Lisa Casella. A package full of surprises.

"Guess what London?" she exclaimed excitedly.

They all used to call me London when my dad was alive. This was a first in five years.

"What?" I tried to sound excited.

"Guess who's getting married tonight?" she exclaimed thrilled.

My eyes lit up for the first time in years. I held her back in excitement.

"What?! No way. You are getting married? I didn't know you were in a serious relationship."

Seriously I didn't know. She was my sister. I had to be thrilled for her despite everything. I always wished the best for her.

"Oh please! Do you always have to be so stupid. I'd never get married now," she said rolling her eyes.

"So who's getting married?"

Seriously who would Lisa be so thrilled for? One of her friends? How would that concern me though?

"You silly. Tonight you'll finally be out of our lives. No offense honey."

Me? My smile dropped and I felt my heart sink. But I wasn't seeing anyone. I looked puzzled.

"Don't give me that face. Get ready for the ceremony. It's a small and simple thing but the reception soon will be grand. Everything a bride needs is in that box. At 5 pm sharp Layton will come and get you. If you need my help I'm more than available."

"I don't understand."

"Of course, you wouldn't understand. You are getting married to famous heartthrob and billionaire Jayden Montero. You'd be living under a rock to not know him. You are so lucky, honey. Finally, you get the spotlight."

"I'm still lost."

For the record, she was patient with me but she was beginning to lose it.

"It's an arranged marriage. A one-year contract between the Casellas and the Monteros. You are the bride. You guys ain't engaged of course but to the world, you guys have been engaged for three months and now you'll tie the knot. So basically it was a secret affair. It's a contract for business stuff you wouldn't understand."

Lisa explained the situation. Of course, to her, I had no idea how anything worked except being useless. I swallowed hard.

"I won't get married to a stranger. I have the right to choose my partner," I told her trying my best to appear confident and unwavering.

Lisa scoffed and scanned my body.

"As if anyone would want to be chosen by you. There is no discussion on this one. Don't waste our time."

"I won't get married," I spoke firmly balling my fists.

I was tired of being controlled.

Out of the blue, I felt a hard sting on my cheek. It stung so much I had to put my hand on it.

Lisa had given me a resounding slap. One of her best. She left a red welt behind and her ring had cut me just below my eye. I was bleeding.

"Anything more to say?" she inquired looking sharply at me.

I shook my head no. She'd murder me if I said anything more.

"Perfect. Suit yourself," she replied and left swinging her fancy ponytail.

I felt a warm liquid run down my nose and I wiped using my hand. I was bleeding. I quickly went to the bathroom and cleaned up myself.

Fifteen minutes later I was on my bed scanning my gown. It was gorgeous but I didn't want to be in it. Why me?

Who was this Jayden person? So I was like living under a rock because I like knew nothing about him. I pretty much knew no one.

I quickly took out my laptop and looked him up on Google.

There were multiple articles about him and the recent trending one about his secret engagement.

I didn't have time for all that nonsense right now. I had to see his face at least so I rushed to images and there was an entire gallery of him.

Okay, so I was speechless. My heart instantly skipped a beat. An alien color invaded my cheeks and I felt a smile form on my lips.

I never believed in the love at first sight drama but this masterpiece I was looking at had made me feel stuff I had never felt before. How could he be so perfect?

I read about three articles on him and I was convinced he had quite a good reputation with ladies in terms of respect.

So this Jayden guy was going to be my better half? The thought itself made me feel unexplainable stuff.

Was it a good thing that I was suddenly thrilled to get married?

My instincts quickly told me to put effort into my looks immediately. I had to impress him. My first impression had to be perfect.

One year my foot. I'd make sure it worked by hook or crook.

Finally light at the end of the tunnel. Finally, my prince charming was here.

Yes, I was excited but that nagging thought bugged me.

Chapter 2 Unwelcome

Jayden's POV

"You are kidding me right Dad?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

This was obviously some sick joke he was playing on me. No need to get worked up.

Dad took the newspaper from my hands and read the headline on the front page. A smile immediately formed on his gracefully aging face. He looked somewhat satisfied.

"Well at least the media did everything right this time around," he commented before tossing it away on his desk.

My dad then leaned against his desk and put all his focus on me. I was fuming. He motioned for me to sit down and I did so reluctantly. I just needed a simple and straightforward explanation but my dad seemed to have a different plan.

"Jay my son, you have to get married," he spoke softly in his convincing voice.

I raked my hair with my hand trying my best to look calm. I failed terribly at it. I lowered my tie and unbuttoned the neck button. I poured myself a glass of water and gulped it down then looked straight into his eyes.

"What on earth is this drama? Have you finally decided to ruin my life Dad?"

"I'd never ruin your life on purpose son. Trust me when I say this was harder for me than you can ever imagine."

"You look damn proud of yourself and pretty calm about this whole nonsense Dad!"

"This has to happen. Both companies need each other for the future success of the companies. For this to happen there has to be some sort of strong connection plus in the past this has been a tradition of collaborating in projects and lending a hand. Our company will get shares in their successful business and so will their company," he explained swinging a pen.

"The other major reason is to close off opponents. We will be collaborating on multiple projects this year. We are stronger this way as we can get access to Casella family benefits and so can they to ours. No one will question us as we will be family. You know how some board members react to non family members receiving private benefits. I am building your future son."

"I can't get married. You know I can't. I don't mean to disrespect your decision or anything but I will not get married. You could have at least told me before spilling it to the media," I explained to him my thoughts running wild.

"It's not a life commitment Jayden. One year only."

"One year can screw up my entire life, Dad."

"It won't. You have to go and get ready, son. We have a few hours left," he was avoiding eye contact. He looked calm but his eyes were much of a ruckus than mine.

Julius Montero was my everything. My dad. He had been part of every moment of my life and held my hand through the darkest phases ever.

Losing my mom five years ago to cancer when I was just twenty one was a blow to me because she was my everything. She was Dad's everything.

My mom had the solution to almost every problem in the world. She loved us both unconditionally. It was quite a hard blow for the two of us.

He always did what was best for me and I always tried my best to obey him at all times. This time it was different. This was not just a matter of my heart. Kylie's heart was at stake too.

"You know I love Kylie, Dad. We've been together for two years and I want to be with only her. She'll be my wife. She'll be the mother of my children. Your daughter-in-law, Dad. You already approved of our relationship."

I could feel my heart bleed and beat wildly. Kylie was too perfect and fragile to handle the idea of me marrying another woman. I had promised that I'd marry her come hail come thunder.

"Kylie Facer is the love of your life, that I know perfectly well and I have no objection to your relationship. You can marry her a year later. I made this decision after getting her consent."

"What? You talked to her about this?" I asked clearly shocked. I couldn't even imagine what she was going through.

"Jayden, you don't have to develop feelings for the Casella bride you'll marry. You just have to be her husband publicly. In private you guys can maybe settle for friendship and live your lives peacefully. This should be easy for you son."

"I'm disappointed in you, Dad. This is not the life I wanted to live," I admitted.

I didn't want to prolong this discussion. Dad had done a lot for me and right now he needed something from me desperately. I could tell he was hurting. I was hurting too. A hell lot. I had to leave his office immediately. I didn't want to say stuff I'd regret.

"I'll be there. I don't want a grand wedding."

"It's a small ceremony so don't worry. Jay I'm proud of you and I know you'll respect your wife. I'll let you calm down then we'll talk. Kyle has the details. He will fill you in."

I had nothing to say so I simply stood up and marched out. I was currently in an emotional rollercoaster. I needed to breathe. I needed to see my baby. I needed to know she was okay. Only she could give me strength to pull through.

I collapsed into my office chair and closed my eyes. I was frustrated. I left the door open. I had to think of the perfect words to tell Kylie. I needed to see her urgently and hold her tight in my arms.

"Hey hey. Guess who's getting married tonight," Kyle humoured walking in with his perfect smile plastered on. He had always been the carefree and bubbly type.

I had found more than a best friend in him. He was my brother. My day one.

"Drop it Kyle. I surely don't need your nagging right now," I told him as he sat across me and crossed his legs. He looked like he had been busy.

"What's up my man? You look worked up."

"Seriously Kyle. Is that a question to be asking me right now? I'm about to get married to a stranger here."

"Oh please. Don't stress about your future bride."

"I'm not worried about her obviously. It's just that I-I I....."

"Jayden you know I have your back bro. I know Kylie is your major concern right now. I already did the job for you."

I shot my head back up and opened my eyes.

"You did? How so? Did you see her? Is she okay? Was she crying?"

"Woah woah bro. Damn you are so freaked out right now. Don't worry your bestie is right here. So, your dad came to her apartment last night," he began playing with the ring on his finger.

"What were you doing there?"

"I drove her home from her shoot. You weren't answering your phone so she called me and I saved the day," he looked proud of himself. He just had to make me feel it with his dreamy tone.

"When will you get into the details?"

"Right. Your dad came around 8 and laid out the issue at hand. I won't lie to you Jay. Kylie was shattered but she was strong enough to pull through the conversation."

"She cried a lot right?" I asked the obvious. I could see her beautiful face in my head, tearstained.

"Yup buddie but after your dad left. He's really a nice man you know. He was good with her and assured her you'd always love her. After he left she broke down and cried her eyeballs out. Man she loves you a lot. I held her hand through it all, comforted her and told her words I knew you'd say. I then ordered her favourite pizza, ate some ice cream, watched a movie then she fell asleep comfortably in her bed. She was good this morning and left for another shoot out of town. She said she'd call you and made me promise I would see to it that you were okay and coping well. Confirm I'm doing a great job."

What would I ever do without this psycho.

I took a deep breath as Kyle poured a glass of wine. He handed me one and poured one for himself.

"You are amazing Kyle. Thanks. For everything," I really meant it.

"Don't embarrass me like this, Jayden. What are friends for anyway."

"Yeah right."

"But hey you still have to pay me back for all the times I've covered up for you plus writing your homework in high school."

"Well hello. Who helped you get through all your break ups back then and survive through your nightmares. Not to mention holding your hand in the dark in case there was a monster somewhere out there?"

"Going back to kindergarten now are we?Should I start."

"Save me please. Some memories are way too embarrassing," I chuckled thinking of our crazy memories. We had come a long way.

"Now that you are in a better mood let's address the elephant in the room."

"Right. Let's get it over and done with. Who is this Casella bride?Tell me you did some research."

"Ummm yup. I spent my entire night looking into the Casella family. You know Flavia, Layton and Lisa right?"

Of course I knew them all especially Layton. We had worked on some projects together plus we were in the same class in high school.

As for Lisa she happened to be friends with Kylie. We were together in high school plus now they were both signed under the same modelling agency. We'd met a couple of times before .

One awkward thing would be having Kylie's best friend as my wife.

"Allow me to read your thoughts. It'd be awkward marrying your girlfriend's bestie."

"Bingo," I replied snapping my fingers.

"Awkward is fortunately out of the picture although in your case I'd prefer the awkward."

"Enlighten me."

"It's not Lisa you'll marry. It's the youngest Casella. Kyra London Casella," he filled me in refilling his glass.

"Who's that? I've never heard of any other Casella apart from Layton and Lisa."

"Right. I was shocked too. Well she exists and she'll be your bride."

"Well since she is a Casella at least I won't get stuck with some socially awkward freak who has to be taught how this world works."

At least right?

"Eh, I wouldn't be so sure. She's the unpopular one. According to some sources she barely speaks."

"That's a good thing for me."

"She has no social life. She's been described as boring, plain, Casella unworthy etcetera etcetera. Some sources give positive remarks too."

"Don't tell me I'm about to get stuck in some boring marriage. She doesn't sound like my type at all. I bet we can't even pass for friendship."

"Wait until you meet her then judge later."

"Is she cute?" I asked making us both laugh. It was like our cliché phrase from high school.

"See for yourself, Jayden. Personally I think she's fine."

Kyle said handing me his cellphone. If she was just fine then it meant she wasn't anything close to Kylie.

The girl in the photo was sad. She looked young and innocent. She wasn't my type. I had no hopes of us ever getting along.

Everything came crashing back. All the stress and depression of this unwanted marriage. My mood changed.

"That's an old photo Jayden so don't judge using that one. There isn't much about her on the internet. Maybe she is better in person. Give her a chance."

"We just can't be."

"If that's what you want fine. You can always change your mind. Time's ticking buddy. Let's go."

I hated this. I hated her. Why did she have to come into my life. She was an unwelcome change in my life.

Chapter 3 Billionaire's girlfriend

Kyra's POV

"Smile, London. This is your moment," Layton whispered into my ear as he walked me down the aisle.

Nervous is an underestimation of how I was feeling. My palms were sweaty,my knees were trembling and my face was burning.

I wore a gorgeous mermaid gown that was obviously a designer gown. It must have been Lisa who picked it out because everything was her taste.

I had put a lot of effort into my looks for the first time in forever. I hoped it was at least fine.

I dreaded this moment. I had always dreamt of my dad walking me down the aisle but fate had had other plans. At least Layton was there. I knew deep down he still had a soft spot for his younger sibling.

We finally made it to the altar and there I was standing next to my would-be husband.

Maybe I missed the moment but he hadn't looked at me even once. His face was glued at the priest and he didn't look that happy. Heck, he didn't look happy at all.

Despite all that, I was still amazed by how effortlessly handsome he was. He looked even better in person.

He was smoking hot tall; taller than me with a body any woman would die for. His hair was dirty blond and his eyes emerald ice. They looked cold but surprisingly that was his best feature in my opinion. They held a mystery I was yet to discover.

They were like a forest. One I'd get lost in. I had never fancied the idea of getting lost before but if I could get lost in his forest then I'd volunteer happily.

We exchanged wedding vows and all the necessary stuff. Even his voice made me shiver. It wasn't a normal shiver. It was something intense, something intimate and something I had never experienced before.

When it was the kiss part, my cheeks were flushed. In my mind I imagined some dramatic kiss from the movies. A kiss that'd give me the so called butterflies.

Once again reality made a complete joke out of my imagination. It was a simple peck at the corner of the lips. That didn't count as a kiss!

I had thought of it as funny that I'd get my first kiss on my wedding day but now it was even funnier. I still had virgin lips even after my wedding reception.

Everything happened so fast that in a short space of time I was trapped in the billionaire's car. Pardon me, my husband's car which was now officially mine as well right?

It was a limousine and his scent flooded the car. It completely filled my nostrils and intoxicated my mind. Soon I would get to smell his scent at a closer angle and run my hands through his oh-so-sexy hair.

One thing bothered me though. He had neither spoken to me nor looked at me. He was furiously typing on his cellphone with his eyebrows knitted. He seemed distracted.

I had no idea on how this entire wifey thing worked out but I had to give it a shot hey. I cleared my throat softly for attention which I didn't get.

Okay, maybe I was too soft. I tried again.

"Do you need something?" he asked me coldly all his attention still on his phone.

His voice was like music to my ears despite the coldness it held.

"Umm, I was thinking that since we don't know each other we could maybe start by introductions," I started trying my best to raise my voice a little.

He didn't reply. I was beginning to feel odd.

"So, I'm Kyra Casella..Well Mont...."

"I know who you are. I wouldn't marry someone whose name I don't know."

Well that was a shocker. Okay maybe I was just being silly and immature. I had no idea how this worked and he wasn't helping either. Was this how all newly weds behaved or was it just in my case?

"How about you tell me more about yourself or maybe I'll go first?" I more of asked than stated.

"There's nothing to tell."

"Well so I'll tell you about me instead. Firstly, I like..."

"Can I get some peace please and is your voice always like that? If so then I'm sorry but it's really irritatingly low."

My heart suddenly stopped. His eyes were now on me and I suddenly felt self conscious.

His eyes held that intense stare that Layton always gave me milliseconds before beating me up black and blue.

I would never fail to recognise that intense look that warned me that a volcano was about to erupt.

"Jay, I don't understand w.."

"Do not call me Jay. You can never call me Jay. Only my friends and family can call me that," he spat at me venomously.

My heart was now acting like a caged bird throwing itself against my ribcage.

"But I am your wife."

"Don't you dare throw that bullshit in my face. To the world you are now my wife but the actual thing is this is all just an arrangement."

His voice was raising and threatening to break. His face was red with fury and his knuckles had turned white.

"I-I don't understand. Yes this is arranged but I thought you agreed to this."

Tears were imminent. I was holding them back but any point would be a breaking point soon enough.

"In case no one told you,I never wanted this marriage. It's all against my will. We can't be husband and wife."

"Don't say that please. I promise to try and be a good wife to you. If it's my voice you don't like I'll change it. I'll try and be louder."

"And what if I tell you I hate everything about you then what?"

"I'll change myself for you."

My father had always told me never to change myself for someone to love me because someone would love me for who I was but this was different. My heart was adamant. I was ready to do anything to make us work.

"Then that tells me how cheap and undignified you are."

My tears finally gave in. He was hammering my heart. This was nerve wrecking.

"What-what is going on? I've never met you before but you seem to have something strong against me."

"You just had to come into my life the moment when everything was beautiful. You actually seem happy with this arrangement."

"Did I ruin something precious to you?"

"Yes. Yes you did!I can't be with the love of my life right now because of you. She is my everything. My world. I wanted her to be at the altar with me. I wanted to say wedding vows to her."

"You have a..."

"Yes I have a girlfriend and I'm not ending things with her. If anyone has the right to be my wife then that's her."

Adrenaline flooded my veins. He was in love with another woman?! By the looks of it this wasn't just some ordinary love. He was head over heels in love with this woman.

His eyes were now sad. I could see the intense pain and sadness in his gorgeous eyes. The fact that I was the cause of this pain stabbed my pounding heart ruthlessly.

He was at the brink of tears. I don't know why but it hurt me miserably seeing him in this terrible condition.

"She is beautiful. She has everything I have ever wanted in a woman. I love her. I am madly in love with her," he confessed looking at his trembling hands as if she was right there.

Hearing Jayden confess his love for another woman destroyed me to the core. It was crystal clear that I stood no chance with him.

"What about me?" I suddenly croaked immediately regretting saying those words.

I was clearly inviting criticism. He had already called me cheap and undignified. What more did I want?

"You are a nobody to me. You are far from my taste. We can never be even friends. Just stay away from me and don't try anything that will make me forget I'm a human."

His words held a lot of command and authority. They made me shiver. The car came to a sudden halt. Guess we were 'home'.

Jayden left the car slamming the door in my tearstained face. The chauffer was kind enough to open the door for me and I trotted behind Jayden who was already by the entrance of 'the mansion'.

He banged the doors open and stormed in. I looked like a lost puppy running after him except only that puppies are cute. I looked horrible and the tears cascading down my cheeks just added to the horror.

I was finally in after a long struggle with my painfully long heels. Jayden was already trudging upstairs furiously.

"Jay," a soft nectarine sweet voice called.

That voice seemed to stop him dead in his tracks. My curiosity kicked in and I turned to to luxurious living room where the angelic voice had come from.

Shock held me immobile. I was dumb stricken by the sight before me. A lady stood there. Not just some ordinary plain Jane like me but a mesmerizing drop dead gorgeous woman.

She wore a sexy long sleeve crisscross bandage dress that flounced and complemented her supple curves perfectly well.

She was taller than me by inches. Her face was angelic with warm chocolate eyes and mascara accentuated her batting eyelashes. Her features were arranged on her face to maximum perfection.

Her hair was a rich shade of chestnut and well maintained. Why did she look so familiar?

Jayden seemed to take a deep breath and his chest started heaving again. I saw a different version of my husband trudge down the stairs quickly.

He was different from the man I had interacted with in the car. He appeared soft, tender and loving. He stood at a distance from the lady who I now thought of as his lover.

He seemed to not think of himself as worthy to get close to her. He looked distraught.

"Kylie, I'm sorry. This is all my fault. I should have fought for us. I should have ....."

Kylie. Now I knew who she was. She was Lisa's best friend. This was obviously a losing game for me.

"Jay, it's not your fault. I still love you all the same and more if that is even possible because I'm saturated with love for you."

Even Kylie had been crying. Her eyes were red and puffy and it looked like she'd break down again soon.

"I love you, Kylie. Always have and always will. No one will come in between us. Not even this marriage," he assured her.

Her tears disturbed him. That I could tell. Mine seemed to not faze him even one bit.

"All I need from you is one thing right now. I need assurance that I still have you. I need to feel you close to me honey."

Oh. She just called my husband honey.

"Anything baby. Just say the word and I'll do anything for you."

"Kiss me."

Simple and straightforward. She had just asked my husband to kiss her. I felt completely invisible.

My heart broke into a million pieces when he strode towards her on impulse completely closing the gap between them.

His delicious looking lips immediately crashed down onto Kylie's. My world fell apart.

So I happened to be the other woman in my own marriage. The kiss wasn't some dirty hungry and demanding kiss. It was slow, passionate and perfect. Their lips were locked moving in perfect sync.

Kylie's hands were snaked around Jayden's neck professionally and he had her firmly ensconced in his arms by her decanter shaped waist.

They were passionate lovers. They had experience and the technique. I was inexperienced. I was just a common person in matters of the heart.

What was I even thinking. He'd never be enticed by someone like me. He was completely out of my league.

Kylie wrapped her tanned legs around Jayden's torso as the kiss became heated. It wasn't some normal ordinary kiss. It was extraordinary. Everything about this billionaire was extraordinary.

He led the both of them upstairs probably to his bedroom. Allow me to say to 'enjoy their wedding night.'

He was too busy for me. He would never care for me. I would never get the love I longed for.

I was left behind throwing myself a self pity party. My eyes hurt from crying. My constant sniffing had probably been background music to the lovebirds.

I was exhausted so I stumbled upstairs to find my bedroom where my luggage had been put. It took me a long struggle but I finally made it.

I collapsed onto the bed and sleep immediately seized me. I didn't have the power to change or shower. I just hoped the next morning I'd wake up from this nightmare laughing at how silly and unreal it all had been.
