THREE MONTHS DEAL WITH MY ALPHA

"Come here, my little whore" The handmaiden assigned to Alcide's father's mistress said while lying flatly on the bed.

Alcide found his legs moving beyond his control as he stepped towards his bed. This was his room and he was not surprised as this was a regular occurrence. Ever since his mother ran away from shame after his father rejected both of them, this woman has always assaulted him.

She did what she wanted to do to him. After that, he ran to the bathroom to vomit.

Seeing him rush to the bathroom, the woman smirked and said while standing up to leave the room.

" Your hands and body are so divine, I can't wait to do this with you again, my whore Alcide".

That was the last thing young Alcide heard before he fainted.

Alcide woke up with sweat all over his body. He was not surprised as the nightmares still haunted him even in his sleep. He looked around and was relieved to find out that he was all alone and no one saw him in this state. He went to the bathroom to freshen up. Ever since his mother's death, he figured out that he had been traumatized by all the harassment he faced when he was still a child, and he could not bear the touch of a woman as it would remind him of that beast.

A knock echoed on his door.

"Alpha, the elders are awaiting your presence concerning the war against Pack Brawl", the person behind the door spoke and immediately everywhere went quiet again.

Alcide watched as the water flowed from his head down to his toes and he could not help but sigh. He fought internal battles as well as external battles. He laughed at his situation, finished his bath quickly, got dressed, and headed downstairs for his meeting with the elders.

" War would surely wage between both packs, I can sense it", one of the elders spoke amidst the tense situation. Their pack was in a very delicate state right now as most of their soldiers had gone searching for food that could last the pack through the winter.

"Then we could just avoid it" another elder spoke after a moment.

"How? " Our rival pack must not even know that we are in a delicate position right now". The first elder who spoke added

Just as they were all pondering what they could do, a messenger entered. Bowing to the alpha, he stood up and added

" I am not a rogue, neither am I a spy. I am an ordinary messenger who was sent on behalf of the Brawl pack to this pack. " I am here to deliver this letter". He stretched his hand forward, showing the letter to all those present, including the alpha.

"Drop the letter and leave at this instant. " I must not see you roaming around my pack, or else, you will be thrown into the dungeon and my wolves will feast on you for dinner", Alpha Alcide added, after which the messenger dropped the letter and left immediately. The aura emanating from Alpha Alcide was a dangerous one that promised hellfire to its victims.

" With your permission, Alpha, may I take the letter and read it to everyone's hearing?" one of the elders spoke while looking at the Alpha.

Alpha Alcide nodded, and the elder stood up, picked up the letter, and started reading it.

" Dear Alpha Alcide, I am writing this letter not only on behalf of myself but also on behalf of my entire pack. I want both packs to come to the understanding that a war would only create more chaos and destruction. Also, it would only waste time and might even be futile in the future. So, I would love us to draw a truce, but, of course, we would love to compensate your pack as we took the first attack. On this note, we would like to drop one of our pack members, my daughter, to be your wife. You can decide if you want to make her your Luna or not. The choice is all yours. In addition to this, this union would not only create a bond between the two packs but would also strengthen it and pave the way for future opportunities between the two packs. " I would love it if you could consider this offer and get back to us soon. Thank you." The elder sat down after reading the letter.

For a moment, the nonchalant look on Alpha Alcide's face wavered a bit when he heard the word 'wife' from the letter. He looked around and when he saw no one watching, he composed himself and emitted an even darker aura.

"Wow, this is so good, our problem got solved even before it could even escalate", another Elder spoke with a look of joy on his face.

"Yes, yes, all we have to do now is to write back to them that we acknowledge and accept their condition," the elder who read the letter said.

"We are doing no such thing", Alpha Alcide spoke commandingly.

"But Alpha, this is good news and also the best way we can prevent war from occurring"

"I do not agree to any marriage, nor do I want a wife," Alpha Alcide said, as disgust was evident on his face at the thought of having a wife.

" This is another way to prove to everyone that the rumors about you are false. If we do not use this method, the rumors might increase that you are indeed gay", one of the elders spoke with a defiant look.

"What did you just say, Elder Leus?" Alpha Alcide asked with a dangerous look on his face. He stood up, slammed the table, and was about to leave the meeting room when another elder stood up to stop him with his words.

" We are not saying that you are gay, Alpha Alcide. OK, how about we do it this way? You take the girl as your wife for just three months? By then, our soldiers would be back, and we would frame something against the girl they would bring, thereby eliciting another war which we could win."

" What if he falls in love with the girl, huh?" Another Elder spoke before Alcide could say anything.

" Then let us leave it at this: If the Alpha does not fall in love with the supposed girl after three months, we will wage war against Pack Brawl, but if he does, then we will accept it as fate and both packs will live in peace. How about that Alpha?"

"Fine" Alpha Alcide spoke as he left the meeting room.

" If you refuse to marry the alpha of Pack Lucid, then you will leave our pack now and become a rogue. You have nothing to lose as no one loves you in this pack. You are a curse who brings bad luck wherever you go. That was why you killed your mother and twin brother" The Alpha of Pack Brawl, a middle-aged man said as he stared at his daughter with hate in his eyes.

The nonchalant look on the girl's face changed to one of guilt as she heard the last words of the man who claimed to be her father.

The young girl packed her bags to go to pack Lucid. She had no choice. Being a rogue is the worst thing that can ever happen to a werewolf, as one would be prone to all dangers, including being killed by a hunter, and she was not going to die that easily. Her twin brother and mother had done that for her and now she must survive. Yes, she must.

" Oh finally, this house and pack will be freed from this awful smell. " I can't wait to give this room to my pet wolf" Serafine's step-sister said while standing at the door, looking at Serafine with a look of contempt.

Serafine ignored her, picked up her bag, and set to leave the room when the other girl stretched her leg in front of her, making Serafine fall. Serafine stood up, dusted her skirt, and left, ignoring what her step-sister had done. She was done complaining as, in the end, she would be the one who would end up beaten by her father. She has learned to shut her mouth no matter the pain she is going through.

It's good that you made the right choice. Now, one more thing, we got news today that war might still break out in the future if the alpha fails to fall in love with you after three months. " So, do all you can to make him fall for you, earn his affection, or else" Serafine's dad said as his eyes landed on the puppy lying on the floor beside the door. He walked towards the door and picked the puppy up.

" Give him back please", Serafine pleaded as her father grabbed the puppy by its neck, strangling it a little.

Ignoring her plea, her father said " Else, say bye-bye to your precious puppy". His hold on the puppy tightened a little.

"OK, I agree, I promise, I will make him fall in love with me," Serafine said while shedding tears. She was not aware that she had started crying. Her puppy is the only thing that has given her solace these days, the only thing keeping her sane.

Serafine got to the Lucid pack with the help of the wolves sent from the pack to pick her up. On getting there, she marveled at the sight she was seeing. The members of the pack did not even behave like wolves at all and if not for the fact that she was aware that this was a pack, she would have thought the people she was seeing were humans. And to add to this, the technology in this pack is impressive and almost on par with human technology.

When she got to the Alpha's house, she was surprised at what she was seeing. There were only a few female workers there.

'I thought most workers were female' Serafine thought to herself

"Welcome Serafine, I will call you by your name for now, because you are not yet our Luna. " I will be the one to attend to your needs today, so please follow me while I lead you to your room," an older lady dressed in a maid's uniform said as she turned her back at Serafine leading the way, not turning back to even check if she was following her.

Serafine could see from the look on the lady's face that she did not like her, and she was not surprised, as someone liking her right now was not her priority. Initially, after her father told her about the three-month deal, she had it in mind to make the alpha of the lucid pack hate her instead of liking her, as she did not even care if any war should break out. But after using her precious puppy against her, she would do all in her power to get this done so she could go back to save her puppy.

"This will be your room for the meantime. I would start going, and please let me know if you need any help," the maid said, not even hiding the bad look on her face for Serafine.

"Thank you so much," Serafine said with a small smile on her face.

The lady was about to take her leave when Serafine suddenly asked

" When can I meet the Alpha?"

" It is not a question I can answer as of now. " I am not even in the right position to answer that, Serafine, so, you will meet our Alpha when he wants to see you," the maid said, giving Serafine a fake smile.

Serafine sat down on the mattress feeling tired from the journey. Unlike others, Serafine has not gotten her wolf yet. For a reason, her wolf does not want to manifest itself yet, even though she is already 18 years of age. Her father once told her that it was because of her wrongdoings, which is why the moon did not give her a wolf. So, without her wolf, she was no different from human beings as her abilities are slow, and she heals slower compared to other wolves.

She stood up to go to the bathroom, then she saw two identical doors and did not know which one was the bathroom. She pushed one of them and suddenly, she found herself in another room different from hers. The room belonged to a male. She was sure of that because the interior gave a dark, shady, and dangerous feeling. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she felt the presence of someone behind her. Just as she was about to turn, she heard a cold and menacing voice.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?"

She turned back to receive the shock of her life.

As soon as Serafine turned her back, she saw a very tall man built like a god with strong muscles and abs and, to top it up, he was half-naked with only a towel wrapped loosely around his waist. Just as she looked at his face, she gasped. His facial features were unbelievable. He looked like he was specially created and favored by the moon when it comes to looks.

"I...I" Serafine stammered as she looked at him. For a reason, she felt like she had just forgotten how to speak, as she was still mesmerized by his looks and the same thing was happening to Alcide.

He was so stunned by the beauty standing before him as his eyes raked her from her toes up to her head as he lingered a little bit on her boobs.

Serafine got shy when she felt his gaze on her boobs and she tried to cover them a little with her hands.

Alcide snapped out of his gaze as he looked back at her and said "Have you lost your tongue? Or do you think I am joking here?"

" I am Serafine", Serafine said while looking down at her shoes nervously.

Alcide raised one of his eyebrows as he gave Serafine a look while he thought 'How does she expect me to know her by just telling me her name, and what is a woman doing in my room?' He stepped back a little bit, fully conscious of the fact that the person standing in front of him was a woman

Serafine rephrased her statement: " I am Serafine, the wolf sent by pack Brawl to be the wife of the Alpha of this pack"

'Oh so, this is my supposed wife. Not bad' Alcide thought to himself as he scanned her body again, after which he circled her while saying

" And what are you doing in my room? What if the Alpha catches you with me here? Hmm, what would you do then?"

Serafine finally became conscious of the fact that what the handsome man was saying was true. If she got caught, all her plans would be ruined before she could even start and her precious puppy would...

'No' she shouted in her mind.

" I wanted to use the bathroom, then I saw two doors and I opened one. It led me to this place. Please, this was not intentional. " Can you take me back to where I came from, please?" Serafine said this with honesty in her eyes as she continued staring at the young man who was still scanning her.

Before Alcide could say anything, a knock echoed from the door.

"Alpha, the conference is about to start, and we all await your presence. " Jenna is in the pack also, and she asks of you", the voice behind the door said, while Serafine's eyes widened when she heard the person behind the door call her handsome Prince Alpha.

'So, he is the Alpha' Serafine thought to herself as she felt a waft of breeze on her back. She turned around to find out that her handsome prince had already left her back. Just as her eyes were about to search for him, she heard his cold and menacing voice.

" Leave this instant, but you can stay unless you want to see me get dressed," Alcide said as he threw the clothes he was to wear on the bed. Just as he was about to take off his towel, Serafine ran towards the door she came from, and soon enough, she found herself back in her room.

She held her chest as she felt her heart beating erratically.

'What just happened?' she thought to herself as she pinched her wrist just to confirm that she was not dreaming.

"Oww" she screamed from the pain, and she realized that everything that just happened was real. She ran to the other door and when she confirmed that it was a bathroom, she shut it with a bang out of frustration.

After the conference, Alcide went to his lounge to meet Jenna. Jenna is his childhood friend, as their parents were friends before her father and mother's death. Ever since then, although she was restricted from touching him, he gave her all the power he could within his pack as a token of appreciation, as she helped him a lot after his mother's death.

"Alcide" Jenna shouted his name when she saw him out of excitement. She felt so happy seeing him again as they barely saw each other due to his busy schedule.

"Jenna, hope you're good?" Alcide said with a small smile as he sat down beside her. He has always seen Jenna as a baby sister and that is why he does all he can to keep her happy.

" Yes, I'm fine, just that I miss you. " Have you forgotten about me, Alcide?" Jenna said with fake tears in her eyes as she looked up at him with puppy eyes.

"No, you certainly know that I can not forget about you, right?" Alcide said while smiling at her.

"Then, what is it with these rumors that I've been hearing all around your house?" Jenna said more to herself than Alcide

Alcide looked at her with curiosity. " What rumors?"

" They say that you have a wife now, that the girl is from one of our rival packs. More so, they say she is cursed," Jenna said, reducing the tone of her voice when she said 'cursed'.

'Cursed?' Alcide wondered within him before he said.

"I don't know about the cursed part, but yeah, I have a wife now. " I guess you now have a sister-in-law", Alcide said with a small laugh as he got distracted a little bit.

Suddenly, Jenna moved to hug him when she said he was not looking, feeling her temper rising at the fact that Alcide has a wife now.

The smile on Alcide's face quickly faded as his eyes turned blood-red. He quickly stood up and held Jenna by her neck, trying to suffocate her. His hold on her tightened as he lost control of himself.
