Chapter 1

Saturday morning

9:00am

NICK'S POV

"Commander ! General Kick would like to speak to you .Parth my second in command barged into my office and said, stretching out the telecom to me .

I took it immediately and answered.

"General you could have called my phone ," I said flatly, not wanting to waste my time in greetings .

"Sorry Nick ,but I need a favor from you ,it's very private and urgent ," he replied in a hasty tone and I knew for a fact that it was serious .

I waved my hand in a gesture for Parth to leave ,"what is it this time ? I ask to take my focus back to General kick.

"Can we meet today Nick ,I want to speak to you in person ," he said and I thought for a while .

I had a really tight schedule here in the firm and now Kick .How stressful can this get .

"Sure come over ,I am at the firm ,be sure to get here as soon as possible ,I don't have much time to waste ," I informed him and hung up .

I tapped the intercom on my desk and called Parth.

"Yes commander ," he says walking in .

"Cancel my schedule for today and tell Amanda to reschedule another for me ," I instructed and he nodded and left .

I returned back to the freakin paper work started In Front of me , who knew running a firm could be so tiring .

*Tiring but worth it*

Mom's the best , maybe I should check on her tomorrow .

Two hours later ....

Finally done with the paperwork ,I stood up for a stretch but a knock interrupted me.

General Kick is here already ? ,"Come in, " I simply said and sat back on my chair.

"Nick ,so good to see you ,long time no see ," he said with a warm smile on his face .

"What was so urgent ,that you had to come all the way from New York ? I asked, ignoring his greetings.

"Same old Nick ,less talking, more action ,that is by the way ,let me get straight to the point ," he said, taking a seat in front of me.

"What deal ? I ask with a bit of haste ,I know Kick really well ,I mean he made me what I am today , and for him to be freaking speechless at something like this ,it's going to be bad .

"The deal is ,Mr Addams wants my very best man for a three year contract as his daughter's bodyguard .He dropped the bombshell and shock was an understatement of what I felt .

"Is this what's urgent or is there something else ? I asked to be sure of his words .

"Listen Nick ,this isn't some ordinary job or assignment you have done before , it's highly different and maybe worse .

"Worse ,what's that supposed to mean ?

"The thing is Mr. Addams daughter is no normal lady , she's ...

"She's what ? I ask impatiently.

"She's beyond words description ,here is her file with her picture ,he gestured towards his phone and I stared at the screen and saw the most disgusting creature I have ever seen in my life .

"What the Fuck is that ? I asked not to hide the fact that I felt disgusted .

"She's Mr Addams daughter , she's known as the ruthless one or the coldest Ice .

I took the phone from him and went through her record, taking her horrible view off my mind.

"This is why I need you Nick ,the problem here is none of my men agreed to the Job ,I was hoping you-

"No ,it's the biggest No for me , General I can't not in this life , and you don't expect me to leave my firm for something like this ,Do you ?

"Please Nick ,I understand you pretty well ,but I am in a really tight spot ,my hands are tied , and you are my last hope.I can take it upon myself to oversee the firm for you , please help me out here . He pleaded and it felt so weird and awkward ,the General doesn't plead ,but for something like this ,it's got to be darm serious.

"General I am retired ,I can't go back to being a babysitter for rich spoiled brats , especially not one who looks like an animal. All my life I have wanted something challenging ,not this I am sorry but it's a no from me ,I stated with finality .

"Urm Nick ,I think this particular mission is going to be that big challenge you have always wanted ,the lady in question has a criminal record of drug smuggling , isn't that challenging already .

"Geez!! I sigh amused ,how can a 20 year old lady have such a record ,with such a wealthy father .

"Nick please you have got to take this job , this is going to be the last mission I want to grant you ,as one of my ever best students , and frankly speaking ,you really don't miss the good old days ,are you really happy stuffed in a chair all day dealing with papers , you are sure going to lose those if you continue ,he said pointing to my chest ,I smirked knowing exactly what he was talking about.

He was right about that fact.I might have the biggest and most successful firm in Florida ,but I do miss the good old days .

"Fine I will do it , and not to worry,the firm has a lot of good hands , and I sure miss the good old days ," I said and smirked .

"Oh thank you Nick ,I will forever be grateful ,you won't regret this I promise ,he said cheerfully while I sigh .

"I sure hope so ," I muttered.

Sunday evening

7:30pm

MIGUEL'S POV

"What do you mean by that ,you told me the drugs would be available . I yelled at the incompetent fool I called my friend over the phone .

"I am sorry but Draco didn't deliver as promised ,I will get them myself I promise .

"You promise ,how much of a promise is going to save me now ,you idiot ,fuck the hell off my phone .

I hung up and tossed my phone against the queen sized bed .

I rubbed my itching drooly nose in anger as I paced about ,I needed my daily dose and now it isn't available ,all thanks to that fool .

How do I escape the pain now ,how do I feel numb ,how do I get rid of my senses before he comes ,no he can't win tonight ,he shouldn't ,he must not .

My whole body felt itchy, especially my neck and nose ,side effects of the drugs ,but it's worth it ,it does so much for me , sometimes I just want to thank it .

I scratched my itchy neck and reached for my phone , to place a call across Steevo ,one of my gang members.

"What's up V ,you got some stuff I ask continuously rubbing my red drooly nose .

"Hey MG you don't sound good , haven't taken today or what ?

"You just had to ask such a dumb question , didn't ya ! Of course I haven't and I need em ,you got some to spare .I sniffed and cleaned off the drool that escaped my nose .

"Oops sorry MG ,but I don't gat any spare ,what about Lax ,he promised to get it ,what changed .

"He messed up , that's what changed ,I am in fucking need V ,I really need em ,I grumbled .

"I will try to get you some tomorrow , how's that ?

"Not helpful V! It's not helpful I-

"Ma'am are you in there ,your dad seeks your presence," a guard's voice interrupted me .

"He's not my father you nitwit ," I yelled at the fool that uttered those words .

"Is everything okay ? V asked to bring me back to the phone call .

"Yeah ,I will see you tomorrow ," I said and hung up .

"Go away I am busy , and tell your boss ,to fuck off ,I informed and went into the bathroom .

I undressed and stood under the drizzling shower.I had no pain reliever , and it wasn't going really well for me ,the cold water dropping on my body was a little bit of relief .

The door to my room opened with a loud bang making me roll my eyes ,as always he's here again to take what never belonged to him.

I turned off the shower and wrapped myself with a towel , stepping out of the bathroom.An unexpected slap landed on my face sending me to the ground .

I glared up at the maniac that slapped me .

"Starting to grow wings right ? He asked ,I just smirked and stood up , cleaning off the blood that left my itchy nose .

"I am starting to think you are getting blind ,or maybe you are just dumb , because I know ,no I mean everyone knows ,humans don't grow wings ," I said nonchalantly , completely ignoring the fact that he was standing there.

I walked into my closet and picked out my night clothes ,a black baggy shot and a large black Dior shirt .

I returned back to the room and I would say I was quite surprised to see him sitting on my bed .

"You hit your head on your way here or what ? I asked with a side smirk ,as I tried to my nightstand and picked up my cigarette pack .

"Watch your mouth princess ,or I shut it up myself ," he groaned while I just shrugged ,like I care .

I took out a straw of my cigarettes and light it up, taking a really long drag and breathing a sigh of relief ,"Get your fucking self off my bed ,I warned and he shot me a death glare .

"How many times have I told you to stop smoking ? He gritted out, gradually getting off the bed .

I paid no fucking attention to him and continued smoking ,ignoring him is my best key , sometimes.

"You lousy witch ,you think all this is going to save you ,no it's not ,the sooner you get that into your head the better for you .

"I didn't come here to exchange words with you ,I am pretty busy at the moment ,but be sure to expect me ,oh and congratulations ,you are getting a bodyguard .

"What the Fuck did you say ? I sharply turned to face him .

"I am getting you a bodyguard, someone who will oversee your actions , follow you each and every where you go , and protect you as it is , isn't that good ?

I crushed the cigarette in my hand and glared hard at him ,"I don't want a bodyguard ,I don't want anything from you ,I yelled angrily veins popped out of my head .

"Oh my dear child ,your words don't matter ,only mine and mine alone ,be sure to look great tomorrow ,he will be arriving by morning. Good night my love ,I will see you tomorrow .He said with a stupid smile and blew stupid kisses at my face before leaving my room .

No ! this cannot be happening ,not a bodyguard ,No ! I can't let this happen , No!!!! I held my banging head , another migraine it was worse than any I ever had ,my eyes grew heavy and I dropped to the ground blacking out instantly.

Chapter 2

Monday morning

7:30am

Miguel's pov

"Miguel get up ,it's getting late "the familiar voice made my eyes open .

"Danielle, what the hell are you doing in my room without my permission ," I said with sleepy eyes , stretching off the bed quilt from my body.

Wait I don't remember getting into bed last night , everything that happened last night came rushing into my head ,I felt my legs with my hand but there was no ache , Danielle noticed and sighed sadly.

"He didn't come, Miguel , and I am the one who placed you on the bed. You passed out on the floor ,figured out it might have been another migraine ,so I brought you this ,She said, showing forth some pain killers .

"Thanks ," I said coldly and took it from her. She handed me a glass of water and I used it to gulp the pills down .

"So come on, it's a new day for the fresh week , and it's also time to get up from that bed and hurry into the bathroom. You are running late for your classes,she said authoritatively and I frowned .

"Don't talk to me like that ,I don't care if you are old enough to be my grandmother ,just fuck off already ,I said in a harsh tone and got out of bed , ignoring the bright smile on her face .

That's Danielle for you ,an old woman in her late 60's ,too annoyingly sweet ,she just doesn't get offended in the least , especially when it's me ,but who cares ,I don't give a fuck about anyone in this world and I never will.

I walked into the bathroom and the bathtub had already been set ,but I never used it, instead I used the shower and ran a really cold bath for myself .

I stepped out in my robe and saw ,already set clothes for me on the bed .

A white baggy hood , and a baggy boyfriend jeans , Danielle that old fucking timer ,she just knows the right things to do and it's fucking annoying.

I changed into my clothes immediately and picked up my face cap and backpack .

I stared at myself in the mirror and smirked , ugly as always ,I dashed a little bit of cologne on my shirt and finally left .

Heading down the stairs of the boring mansion .

I hurried to the door to avoid seeing that monster but- "Miguel you forgot your lunch again , Danielle comes from nowhere and stopps me on my track.

"I don't fucking need it ,I said wanting to walk past her ,but she stops me again .

"I will just place this in you bag ,oh and a guest arrived this morning ,he's in Garry's study , don't you want to see him ,she said and I remember that bastards and the shit he was talking about last night ,the fucking bodyguard Is here already ,Fuck !!!

Anger filled my veins instantly "Miguel don't you want to see him ?

"Bitch can you just fuck off ,I don't have time for your gossips ,I snapped and stormed out of the sitting room ,I tried to rush out of this freaking room ,but no!!! Thanks to the monster ,the room just had to be as wide as the parking space in my school.

"Lovelyn !!! I stopped gritting my teeths together in annoyance ,most of all I hate that fucking name .

"Good morning Mr Addams, Good morning sir , Danielle greeted .

I reluctantly turned back to see the fool with someone else ,a really big guy ,way bigger than Garry ,he had really smooth skin and a well structured face ,the rest of his body was covered with a black shirt,jacket and trouser , overall he looked like someone I could call FINE .

"Rushing off to college so early , that's weird ,last time I checked ,you hated that place ,did you hit your head last night princess ," he said in a fake and useless sweet voice ,of course why wouldn't he ,we have a visitor.

"Cut that stupid crap Garry ,I am late for classes ," I said and turned to leave ,but he stopped me.

"Lovelyn !!! He yelled, making me groan angrily.

"It's Miguel you old bastard ,get that into your damaged skull.

"Lovelyn !!! Manners !

"I left them in my room ,why don't you tell that dumbass behind you to go get it ," I said and smirked at the expression they both threw at me , Danielle scurried off immediately ,yeah she better.

"Lovelyn ! He shouted in a loud voice.

"It's Miguel !!! I yelled back.

"Pardon me ,agent Nicklaus ,this is my lovely daughter Lovelyn ,she's the one you will be guarding ,he said with an innocent smile ,one would think he actually is ,but definitely not me .

The big guy only nodded to the fools words ,he turned to me and outstretched his hand for what the Fuck do I think it is ,a handshake in what year was this dummy born.

I ignored it and turned to leave again ,"You know mannerless brats are pretty easy for me to handle ,A really deep manly voice said ,"I figured out ,it's the dummy's voice.

I turned to face him with a smirk ,"well go find them , because there's clearly none here ,I said and this time I stormed off ignoring the calls .

I opened the big door and finally walked out of the house. My driver was already waiting for me ,so I hopped into the sports car and watched him drive off .

Nick's pov

"I am so sorry Agent Nicklaus ,my daughter can be a handful sometimes.Mr Addams apologized and I nodded.I wasn't offended ,but I wouldn't say I wasn't shocked at this lady's audacity.

"Danielle !!!

"Yes sir !

"Please take Agent Nicklaus to the duplex ,he will be staying there from now on .

"Yes sir , please sir come with me ," the old lady gestured and I followed suit .

We got out of the mansion and began to take another route to the left ,where a blue painted duplex stood in all glory.I must say this man is really wealthy ,there were two other buildings on the left, another duplex and a bungalow ,the mansion happens to be the biggest .

"Please don't mind ma'am Miguel , she's just having a rough morning ," the old lady spoke up after a while.

"Sorry ma'am ,but I actually don't care ," I replied and she nodded .

We got to the duplex and she ushered me in and took me around . It was quite spacious ,a sitting room filled with electronics ,a kitchen and four bedrooms up the stairs .

Just for me , strange but who am I to complain?I already agreed on this darned mission , maybe I should have done an interview first , because this is going to be the longest mission of my life and I am starting to regret it.

"I hope you like the short tour ?

"Yeah I simply replied

"Okay ,so If you need anything sir , there are several intercoms in the house ,one in the bedroom ,the kitchen and of course here in the sitting room ,feel free to use them ,the maids will attend to you immediately ,I will take my leave now ,she said with a charming smile that reminded me of my mother.

I closed the door after she left , and pulled out my phone from my back pocket.

I placed a call across my mom immediately .

"Nick my dear ,how are you , finally you called your mother ,she ranted not even giving me a chance to speak.

"I missed you too mom , and I am sorry ,I got caught up with work ,I replied and I heard her sigh.

"Work work work ,it's just you and work , son when are you going to give me grandchildren,your dad and I are not getting any younger and so are you -

"Mom, I called to check up on you , and I can see that you are very fine ,so I will hang up now ,I got some work to do ," I said, hunging up before she would say any other thing .

Typical Mom,this is why I never go home ,I have no business with marriage ,nor children ,poor woman she's only going to hope in vain ,I returned my phone back into my pocket and headed out of the house .

"Oh Agent Nicklaus good think you are here ,I was about to send for you ,if you don't mind , I would like you to start as soon as possible , meaning Now ,this is Lovelyn's college address ,I want you to pick her up from college and make sure ,she's by your side at all times ,Mr Addams said and I nodded .

I took the address from him and left for my car ,I got in and typed in the address to my car's map , following the direction it brought out ,I drove out of the house on my way to that brat's college.

Chapter 3

Miguel's college ....

3:50 pm

Miguel's pov

"Ahh V ,where the hell have you been ,I have been searching everywhere for you ,hand me the stuff , " I said to Steevo after taking him into a secluded place.

"I sent them home ,I thought you wouldn't be making it to classes today ," He answered and I felt like hitting his head against the wall .

"Why the Fuck did you do that huh ,who the did you deliver it to ? I asked silently wishing it wasn't Danielle.

"Oh it was an old woman ,she said her name is Danielle and that she would deliver - ."Shut the hell up V .I yelled angrily and stormed off .

Why the hell did he have to give her , anyone but her , Danielle is such a pest ,now she's going to force me into having that darned medication ,all thanks to Steevo .

Arg ,it's this ugly peacock again .

I know right ,a real psycho ,I wonder why she's being so free to walk amongst us .

Why wonder ,she has a really wealthy and influential father .

I walked my way out the stupid college crowd, filled with dumb heads , gossiping about things that don't concern them .

I slowly moved backwards ready to rush out the door ,but no some bitch just had to be standing there .

I landed flat on my butt and winced ,my rage shot up and I snapped at the lady .

"The Hell ,why where you in my fucking way . She stared at me with teary eyes and a shocked expression. In a quick pace she stood up , muttered sorry and ran off.I scoffed in annoyance as I got up from the stinking tile .

Great now everyone had diverted their not needed attention to me , oh and much wonderful ,the dummy spotted me .

"Miss Lovelyn ,he called, walking elegantly towards me .

"Miguel ,I replied back rubbing my itchy nose .

"Miss Lovelyn ,he said again, making me scratch my itchy neck in annoyance ,my blood was boiling hot ,I had another disobedient dog to handle again.

"It's Miguel , and the next time I remind you ,it's not going to be pleasant,I warned through gritted teeths

"I am here to take you home ," he said while I just ignored him and tended to walk out ,but then the strong grip on my hand made me pause .

What the hell ,who gave him the right to touch me?I hate men's touch .

"Get your fucking hand off me ,I yelled at him , snatching my hand from his grip .

"And where do you think you are going ? He asked while I laughed .

"Okay first ,you are not the boss of me ,you are just a wandering pest so know your place , secondly ,mind your business,I coed Icily and turned to leave , and like a flash he was In front of me .

"What the ?

"Hey dummy ,who the hell do you think you are ,get off my path ,this instant ,I said pointing my finger really close to his face .

"Now listen miss Lovelyn ,I don't care if you have any inconveniences with me ,sort that out with you father ,but do not try to stop me from doing my job ,I am your personal bodyguard and I am to be wherever you are , starting now , and I am here to take you home ,so let's go ,he ranted like a stupid mouse and grabbed my hand again pulling me out of the building .

Every fucking body was staring ,this is an insult to my dignity and he's going to pay for it .

"Let go of me ,get your hands off me , I know you are not deaf ,so you better listen to me ,let go this instant ,let go now ,let go ,let go ,I struggled hard trying to get away from his strong grip ,they were bringing back memories , memories I don't want to remember , memories that I so wish could vanish ,the helplessness ,no ,no ,no ,no ,not now ,not anymore.

"Let go of me ," I yelled with rage and kicked him really hard on his stomach .

He let go instantly and threw me a death glare.I knew that hurt really bad ,but the way he sealed it off was quite professional.

"Don't you ever in your miserable life ,touch me like that again ," I warned and then realized we were standing close to a Black BMW sports car .

This must be his baby ,I smirked as an idea popped into my head , revenge.

"Get in ,he simply said but I didn't move an inch .

"Get in the car miss Lovelyn ,he said with a slight haste .

" I warned you about that name, didn't I? Now you are really going to know who Miguel Salvador is ,I tell him and rush off to find something really heavy ,there wasn't much of a choice ,but I did find a large iron rod .

"What are you doing Miss lovel- I hit the glass windows of the car with the rod and that shut him up immediately ,but I didn't stop ,I hit it continuously until it all shattered ,I attacked the rest of the car and ruined every bit of beauty it had .

I threw the rod on the ground and dusted my hands ,by now there was an unwanted outside the building , poke nosing in shits that don't concern any of them .

Mr Mick was quite shocked ,his gaze wasn't leaving the damaged car , and it made me smirk victoriously .

"WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT ,he yelled so loudly ,that the earth would have shaken , and old me would have crawled up a corner,but not anymore .

"So When Are We Leaving ? I asked innocently .
