CHAPTER 1: SEMPER FIDELIS.
Hateful eyes trolled the galant Corporal of the United States Marine Corp, Ray Lee. Everyone disliked him, even his superiors disliked him. He was an asset to the Corp, and there was no denying it.
Ray Lee's feats and achievements in the Corp were known by all, and even across the other branches of service. He had been awarded a medal of honor by the former president of the United States, for his selfless bravery on a mission in Afghanistan, a couple of years ago.
As such, his court martial was one that made news on major news channels all around the country.
Ray Lee sat on a chair situated outside the military court room, as they were on recess, with his head bowed down, and in dismay, when he heard a voice beside him.
"Hey buddy." A voice spoke, as a hand was placed on his shoulder. Ray looked up, slowly, and sighted a familiar face. It was Scott. As a matter of fact, that was the only face he wanted to see at that moment. Scott went ahead to sit beside Ray.
"It's time." Ray declared, as he looked at his wrist watch. "Let's get this over with." Ray said, as he stood up from his seated position, going back into the court room.
Scott sat in his seat, as Ray also sat in his, further away from Scott's. The military jury had confered and made a decision. Ray had pled guilty, without remorse, and was ready for whatever punishment.
"Corporal Ray Lee, stand up." The officer presiding over the court martial, Colonel Sanders, ordered. Ray stood up swiftly. His brown evening dress uniform was fitting on him. His muscular physique could be seen bulging from within the uniform.
Ray looked intimidating to most of the soldiers, and was intimidated by no one. Yet, he respected all who were worthy of respect, be you his superior, or junior. Ray's medals accounting for his achievements and heroic deeds hung on his uniform.
Colonel Sanders had hoped for a different outcome, but Ray wanted out, for good. Colonel Sanders knew for good that the Marine Corp would lose a valuable asset.
"Based on the evidences, and testimony from credible witnesses, and your own testimony, which didn't deny any of the charges laid against you, which includes dereliction of duty, a direct and willful disobedience of an order given by a superior, and assaulting a superior, you have been found guilty, as charged."
Colonel Sanders declared, as his heart broke from within, but he didn't express it outwardly. "You are hereby stripped of your rank as a Corporal of the United States Marine Corp, and discharged." Colonel Sanders continued.
As he spoke, two officers marched forward and began stripping Ray of his insignia and medals. Although Ray had been acting all tough, tears welled up in his eyes. What he lived and was willing to give his life for was being taken away from him.
Ray held back his tears from rolling down his cheek, as he sniffed in. He has learned to keep his emotions in check.
"For your years of dedicated and sacrificial service, you will not be jailed for any of these charges. You are to immediately hand over every valuable item that belongs to the Marine Corp before you vacate barracks. Thank you for your service."
Colonel Sanders ended reading out the verdict, as he slammed the mace on a wood, ending the trial of Corporal Ray Lee.
Ray saluted Colonel Sanders, as Colonel Sanders stood up to leave. The Colonel saluted back, and was escorted out of the court room. Everyone else in the room stood up to leave, staring at Ray. Some, in pity, while some found joy in his downfall. Chief of which was 1st Lieutenant Glover.
Scott walked up to Ray, and firmly grabbed his shoulders, consoling Ray. Just then, they were interrupted by a voice that Ray sure didn't want to hear. "Look what we have here. If it ain't the disgraced soldier." 1st Lieutenant Glover mocked Ray.
Ray closed his eyes as though he winced in pain, clenching his fists, and slowly turning around. Ray looked Glover right straight into the eye, as wicked thoughts ran through his head.
The duo, Ray and Glover, stood facing each other as though they were about to have a stand off in a kick boxing ring. Glover smirked scornfully at Ray, with disdain in his eyes. Ray stood seething with rage, but held himself back from punching Glover.
"So, how does it feel to be disgraced and lose everything, Corporal? Oh! I'm sorry, you're not a Corporal anymore." Glover scoffed, mockingly. The degree of punishment meted to Ray Lee wasn't exactly what he had hoped for, but then, Ray still got punished, so he relished in that fact, as a consolation.
"You've got what you wanted. Haven't you?" Ray asked, with a blank expression. "I always get what I want." Glover replied, still wearing that scornful smirk. "Yeah, you do. As long as daddy is the one pulling the strings from up there. Little Glover is nothing without his daddy, you spoiled little brat." Ray said, purposely provoking Glover.
"Knock it off, you two." Colonel Sanders stepped in. "But sir, he wanted to-"
"Enough! I don't want to hear a word from your mouth." Colonel Sanders yelled, ordering Lieutenant Glover, interrupting him. "Ray, my office. Now." Colonel Sanders instructed Ray.
Scott went along with Ray but stopped at the entrance of Colonel Sanders office, since he wasn't asked in, as Ray went in. Colonel Sanders sat down in his reclining chair and sighed, removing his cap, as he stared intently at Ray.
"So what now? What will you do as you return back to civilian life?" Colonel Sanders asked. Ray sighed, honestly not knowing what to answer.
Ray looked down, cracking his head to think, but nothing was forthcoming. "Well, all I know is, I'll survive. There's no doubt about that." Ray said optimistically. "That, I know for sure." Colonel Sanders affirmed.
"Thank you for your years diligent service to the Corp. I wish you all the best. Semper Fi." Colonel Sanders stood and saluted. "Semper Fi, sir." Ray saluted back. Both men showed respect for each other.
As Ray turned to leave, Colonel Sanders spoke out. "Soldier? Whatever you need, you let me know. Okay?"
"Duly noted, sir." Ray replied, cracking up a mild smile, and he continued outside the office of the Colonel. He truly was unhappy, and unsure of what laid ahead of him, but something more awaited him outside the Marine Corp.
_____
"So, this is it huh?" Scott, said sadly, as he stood with his friend Ray, at the bus station, as Ray was about boarding the vehicle to head home. Ray spent the previous night in a motel, as he wasn't expected to remain in the barracks for more than three hours after his court martial sentence.
"I guess my friend. Well, don't cry for me when am gone." Ray replied. "Thanks for everything man. Thank you." Ray appreciated, as they both hugged each other. "We'll be in touch." Scott said, as they broke their hug, and Ray walked into the bus. Ray nodded, with a smile, as he walked in and took his seat.
The bus began it's transit from Paris Island, Pennsylvania, to Miami, as Ray waved at Scott from the window. Ray sat back relaxing, as he went to his playlist and played some music. He wondered what awaited him at Miami, a home he hadn't been to for years.
CHAPTER 2: HOME SWEET HOME.
The bus halted at a bus stop, causing the vehicle to slightly sway forward and backward, as it gained balance. This caused Ray to snap out of his slumber. He had been drifting in and out of sleep in the last couple of hours.
"Oh! Goodness. We're here." Ray said, realizing they had arrived their destination.
Ray grabbed his backpack and got off the bus. He got his second bag from the luggage compartment at the lower exterior region of the vehicle. Then he waved the bus driver goodbye, with a friendly smile.
Ray stood, holding his backpack across one side of his shoulder, and his other bag, he held it in his right hand. Ray closed his eyes, breathiy in deeply and exhaling.
"Home sweet home." Ray said, as he shook his head, somehow disagreeing with himself? To anyone who cared to look at him, it seemed as though he soliloquized. Ray stopped a taxi and headed home.
It was a fifteen minutes transit, from the bus stop to Ray's destination, Marina bay. Ray instructed the driver to drive down four more blocks down the third street at Marina bay. When they arrived, he paid the taxi driver before stepping out of the car.
Ray looked around the neighborhood and saw that the place hadn't changed for the past five years that he hadn't come home. He looked at the house that he stood in front of, and hesitated approaching the house. The funny thing is, he owned the house. But why did he hesitate?
Anyway, Ray manned up and walked towards the house, stepping on the front porch. He sighed, and hesitating for a bit, as he bit his lower lip, and rang the door bell. "Just a minute." A voice that he was way too familiar with responding from within.
Ray gulped, and braced himself for whatever he may encounter when the door swings open. A few seconds later, Ray heard footsteps approaching the door as the person walked upon the wooden floor.
The door swung open, and there was an awkward silence between the duo. "As I live and breath!" The person who opened the door said, seemingly disappointed with a frown on her face. "Hey Lin." Ray greeted his cousin, pursing his lips.
"Raymond Lee." Lin said, leaning against the door frame, as though she was refusing Ray access into the house. "Is this the welcome a soldier gets these days from family?" Ray tried joking to ease things off.
"No. You don't deserve a welcome. But it's your house, so come on in." Lin said, as she rolled her eyes and turned, walking back in.
"I see you've been doing a pretty good job with the house." Ray complimented. Lin leaned against a sofa, as she glared almost hatefully at Ray.
"Three years Ray. Three whole years! You hardly call, except when I call. Heck, I wasn't even aware you were on your way after all these while. Is this how things are done?" Lin scolded Ray. Even though Ray was way older, Lin's anger was justifiable.
"Lin, I have no excuses whatsoever for everything you've mentioned that I did wrong. I acknowledge my errors. And I am sorry. I truly am little sis. Forgive me." Ray apologized, as he childishly made puppy dog eyes.
"Quit making those eyes at me. It's not going to work this time." Lin resisted his childish plea. "Fuck it!" Lin cursed, and grabbed Ray tightly in an embrace, as she sobbed lightly. She really missed him. He was the closest family she had.
"Welcome home soldier." Lin said, as she laughed in the midst of the sob. "You've grown." Ray said. "I know." Lin replied simply.
"So, what brings you home? You're on leave?" Lin asked, ignorant of what happened to Ray. "Well, let's just say I have nothing to do with the Marine Corp anymore.
"Come again?" Lin asked, as she narrowed her eyes at Ray. "I was discharged. I no longer serve in the Marine Corp. "Why? What happened?" Lin was shocked. Ray went ahead to explain to Lin in detail.
"Assholes! It's their loss." Lin hissed. "So, what are you going to do?" Lin asked. "Well, I'll figure something out. Don't worry." Ray assured.
_____
Ray walked into his house, looking all frustrated, with his tie let loose around his neck. He flung his duffle bag on a sofa and sat on the three seater couch, sighing deeply, as Lin was seated on the other side of the couch, snacking on some home made nacho balls and fruit juice.
"That bad huh?" Lin asked. "Tell me about it." Ray snorted. "It's been three weeks, and still nothing. I keep getting rejected." Ray grumbled.
"Excellent!" Lin exclaimed, causing Ray to turn towards Lin involuntarily. "What is it?" Ray asked. "I just had the perfect idea. Why don't we go grab some drinks tonight, huh? It's the weekend, and I'll be meeting up with my girlfriends. I could introduce you to a couple of them, and who knows..."
Lin shrugged, wearing a cunning smile, like she was up to no good. "Mmm. That's not a bad idea, but you know I'm not a fan of crowds." Ray said. "You've lived your life with a crowd all your days in the Marine Corp. How can a group of harmless folks around you be bad?" Lin frowned.
"Alright then. Let's go out tonight." Ray concurred to Lin's delight.
______
"It's time Ray. Let's get going." Lin shouted from way downstairs. Ray heard her but kept quiet. "Come on bro, are you a lady? Hurry up. The girls are already on their way, and it's a fifteen minutes drive to the location.
Ray intentionally delayed. He didn't want to go, but he had committed himself to going. "Ray, I'll leave you behind. Let's get going!" Lin stamped her feet frustratedly. Ray gently emerged from the stairs, walking down.
"Hmmm. Now that's what am talking about. Them girls are gonna go crazy. That's for sure! Lin praised. Ray wore an all black attire. He wore a fitted pair of black jean pants, a fitted black t-shirt that sat just above his butt, and a pair of black Chelsea boots.
He accessorized with his silver dog tag necklace. The t-shirt sure did bring out his muscular features real nice. And to crown it all up, he smelled good.
"Ray, I wouldn't be surprised if those girls tear you apart right there, not being able to wait for you to bring them home, or go to their place." Lin said smiling, as she walked to towards the door.
Ray simply smiled and followed after her. He didn't know what to expect, but he sure knew the night was going to be interesting.
CHAPTER 3: NIGHT OUT.
Lin drove to a pub fifteen minutes away from her and Ray's residence. It was the most popular pub where most folks, of all ages usually hang out to have a good time. College students especially.
"Dani's pub! Hmmm... The last time I was here was when I was nineteen years old, faking to be twenty one years old, so I could meet hot girls." Ray smiled, reminiscing. "It seemed like a lifetime ago." Ray added.
"Well, get ready to relive those days of old big brother. Because, things have become even more exciting since you were last here. Trust me. The girls here now, are way more hotter than the ones you knew or met here then." Lin said, as she pulled over and parked, unfastening her seatbelt.
"They are already here." Lin said. "Who?" Ray asked. "The white house." Lin was irked at Ray's question. "My girlfriends, stupid." Lin shook her head. Ray knew she wasn't cursing at him per say. He knew she was just irked, that's all.
They got out the car, and made sure it was locked. As they approached the entrance of the pub, Lin abruptly turned, making Ray stop as well. "What is it?" Ray asked with a note of concern. "Whoever you take home, make sure she doesn't get pregnant." Lin said, and walked in.
Ray stood stupefied, with his mouth gaped as he wondered in perplexity. 'Is this the Lin I took in? Nah...' Ray nodded his head in disagreement, following after Lin. It still hadn't settled in him that Lin had changed. But was it for good, or for bad?
Ray walked in to the sight of Lin and her girlfriends making the usual girl like shout of excitement, as they hugged each other swaying side to side. That sight warmed Ray's heart, in a way.
"Hey girls. I'd like you to meet someone." Lin said excitedly, as the rest sat down, but she remained standing. Lin gestured Ray and he walked forward. He had already caught the eyes of everyone who beheld him when he walked into the pub in his all black attire, looking so handsome and tough at the same time.
He stood confidently examining the place as Lin had been exchanging pleasantries with her girlfriends. True to Lin's words, the place had changed. And he also saw a lot of hot young girls. He was impressed with what he saw, but he never gave visible expression to it, making him look mysterious.
Lin walked over to Ray and took a hold of his hand and dragged him towards her friends. "Girls, I'd like you to meet Ray. And Ray, these are my friends." Lin said, as she went ahead to mention their names one after the other.
Lin's friend couldn't believe what was before their eyes. The situation at the moment was breath taking for them. One could visibly see the lust in their eyes, as they individually fantasized about Ray and them. They wondered when Lin had gotten a boyfriend of which they were unaware of.
"Lin, don't tell me this is your boyfriend?" A friend of Lin, Nickie, asked, laughing hysterically, with eyes peering at Ray as she bit her lips, sending subtle suggestive intentions.
Lin laughed at the question. "He's my brother. Well, cousin." Lin said as she winked at them. They all scampered to have a handshake with Ray. He courteously smiled and greeted them back. But Nickie was the last to greet.
"Hey. I'm Nickie." Nickie said seductively, stretching her hand out to Ray, as her eyes were fixated on Ray. "Nice to meet you, Nickie." Ray smiled. "You might not remember me, but I've been friends with Lin since highschool. I was the one who had your tape recorder broken." Nickie revealed.
"Oh! That little girl is you? Oh my. You've grown. I remember Lin was taller than you, and now, you're all grown up." Ray said, amazed at the change. "Well, we must all grow someday huh?" Nickie said, flirtatiously fondling her hair.
"Okay. Why don't you two catch up, since you've already hit it off." Lin said rolling her eyes, and facing the rest of the girls. "Good idea." Nickie accepted quickly, clinging to Ray by the hand.
"Let's sit over there." Nickie pointed at an empty table. The former occupants, a bunch of college sophomores, had just stood exited the pub, drunk and noisy.
"It seems like the military did little to affect how handsome you are." Nickie flirted. "A lot of girls here got their eyes on you. I guess am the lucky one to have your attention." Nickie smiled. "I guess." Ray said, but not out of pride.
Ray noticed how beautiful Nickie was. Her physique denoted one who was a regular at the gym. Her short slim black dress brought out her well shaped butt, and c - cup breasts. She had a beautiful smile with perfect dentition. Her long blonde hair was always the highlight of her beauty.
"You know what? Why don't we get out of here, and find somewhat more quiet, like my place? Huh?" Nickie suggested boldly. "Hmmm... You're not the patient type. Are you?" Ray smirked.
"Not at all. Especially when it has to do with things I want." Nickie said. Ray could begin discerning the kind of person she was, just by her words, but he didn't mind. It seemed like ages ago since he had last been with a woman. So, he obliged.
Nickie stood up leading the way, making little effort to shake her butt, but it did, giving Ray a vivid idea of what awaited him in the next few moments.
Lin and the other girls looked as they walked out. Most of them were infuriated, fueled by their jealousy, since it was Nickie who ended up having the handsome Ray to himself. "I wouldn't mind if it's a threesome." One of the girls said. "Neither would I." Another acknowledged. Lin rolled her eyes shaking her head at how her friends had fallen head over heels for her cousin.
Outside the pub, Ray and Nickie got to her car. She unlocked the car and Ray got in, fastening the seatbelt. Nickie turned on the ignition, turning on the air conditioner of the car and turned on the radio as well.
Nickie unfastened Ray's seatbelt, and sat on Ray's thighs. "Okay..." Ray Raised his eye brow. He wasn't expecting this move. "Surprised huh? Well, why wait when we can have what we want, here and now?" Nickie said, as she but her lower lip touching Ray's firm chest.
"God. Look at how you're firm." Nickie said excitedly, as she bent her head in an attempt to kiss Ray, but pulled back with a cunning smirk on her face. She teased Ray, trying to make him want her. She then kissed Ray.
They kissed intensely, as Ray fondled her breasts. She had no bra on. They were a perfect fit in the palm of his hands. She loved every second of the pleasure it gave her as Ray worked his erotic skills with his hands.
Nickie began unzipping his pants. She reached down and felt his penis. She gave an excited look. What she felt in her hands was exactly how she had hoped it would be.
Nickie then pulled down her underwear as her dress was already raised up, and and was trying to pull down Ray's pants when he caught sight of a couple of folks, walking past the parking lot to a dark spot.
