Kira's ears twitched at the sound of rustling leaves in the dead of night and a faint noise. Laying down in her little spot in her cave, her eyes snapped open. She quickly got some water which she kept aside for thirst and quenched the fire in the cage that was lit to keep her warm.
Her heart pounded as she concentrated and strained to hear over the thudding in her chest and to know if someone was truly out there, lurking around. Finally she heard it.
Someone was coming!
And they were getting closer. Who were they? What did they want?
Kira tried to hide herself and it was already too late for her to leave the cave. Whoever it was, was already so close. She held her breath, hoping that they would pass and leave, but the sounds of footsteps and the sound of twigs breaking grew louder.
"Did you find her?", she heard a voice ask. It seemed like they were looking for her
"Not yet, but I am sure she is here, I can smell her. I recognize her scent", The other voice answered.
"Werewolves but Rogues", Kira whispered to herself as it finally dawned on her who they were.
She did not think they would actually look for her.
"Ummm...", she started thinking, her brain running wild.
Suddenly a thought came to her. She always gathered pine needles leaves and slept on them. It was not bad but turned out to be nice and had a lovely scent. Quickly Kira took those leaves and started rubbing them all over her body, wanting to cover up her scent.
They were already so close to the cave. As soon as she was done, she went to the furthest corner in the cave, slid down to the ground, her knee at her chest as she closed her eyes praying she wouldn't get found.
"Someone was here", Another totally different voice said, observing the quenched firewoods.
"She should not be so far gone", The first voice she heard said.
Kira's heart was beating as she listened to them talk and when she looked up from her knee, her eyes met with one of them.
She just froze, not even blinking.
He smiled at her and said, "Peek-a-boo."
Before Kira could react, he grabbed her from her hair, dragging her out of the cave. Kira struggled, punching his arm, clawing and kicking, but he was way stronger than her and her attackers were many.
"You thought you could steal from us and then disappear?", The man dragging her asked while chuckling, "We will teach you a good lesson not to take what does not belong to you."
"I did not steal, I was only hungry, I needed some food", She tried to defend herself, trying to fight him off but to no avail.
She then thought about screaming and as if he knew, she barely managed a scream before his hand clamped over her mouth, silencing her cries for help.
As if anyone would save her from this.
"No, no no no", Kira screamed in her head, "I was so careful, so cautious", she was so scared, "they might kill me, torture me...", tears started rolling down her face, terror surging through her veins as her screams were muffled.
The faces around her were covered and shadowed, their eyes glinting with range. She had confirmed that it was them.
She tried to plead for mercy but with her mouth covered, she could not get a word out. They tied her hands roughly behind her back, the ropes cutting into her skin as Kira pleaded her eyes, trying so hard to get at least an eye contact with one of them. Maybe they would have pity on her and let her go.
"Mmmm...pwmmmsemm", Kira kept on begging but as soon as they were done with the ropes, with a sharp tug, they pulled her to her feet and began moving through the forest.
As they dragged her through the forest, she kept stumbling on rocks, stones, barefooted. They did not even care and suddenly a searing pain shot through her foot as a rusty nail had pierced her skin.
Tears sprang to her eyes as she forgot everything else, a wave of nausea washing over her from the excruciating pain from her foot.
"Not this, not now, please...", she said in her mind while stumbling.
Their roughness with her just made it worse and she could feel bruises forming, her body aching. Kira had to bite down on her lip to try and suppress the pain as much as she could.
"If I am going to die, well I am not going down without a fight", Kira said to herself. It was like the anger from the pain she was feeling and the way they were treating her just fueled her with so much anger that she started fighting.
"Stay in one place like the good girl you were before, unless you want me to slam your head on one of those big strong trees", The man holding her whispered in her ears, only for her to turn and nod him on the head so hard, he let go of her and stumbled backwards.
Kira winced, because as much as that felt satisfying, her head started hurting a lot. Before she could register, she was grabbed from behind. Kira managed to turn around while struggling to get whoever it was off her and kneed him in his little baby boy, making him let go of her, hands on his crotch as his face was filled with pain mixed with anger.
"Get her", he shouted at the rest, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!"
"Such a shame", Someone said out of nowhere, "How many men against one female, it is a shame."
Kira turned around quickly, her heart and head pounding at the same rhythm to see who it was but could not get a clear picture of who the voice belonged to.
"Why don't you take someone your own size or bigger? Someone like us?", a second new voice said with a chuckle.
Kira could feel the confidence from their tones, while wondering who these men who had come to her rescue were.
Meanwhile the rogues around Kira tensed, their focus now on their new threats. A low growl escaped one of the men, the leader of the rogue group actually, "If you can really take up, why don't you show yourself?!"
"Tsk tsk, silly rogues", one of the new voices said and within seconds, there was a thud on the ground.
One of the rogues laid dead, his neck snapped in an unusual direction.
The other rogues quickly turned around, bringing out their weapons, knives, spares, getting ready to fight, their hearts beating as they kept looking for these threats.
Soon another body dropped, followed by another.
"WHO ARE YOU???! SHOW YOURSELF!", The leader of the rogue group yelled angrily as his men kept falling to the ground lifeless, "I WILL RIP YOUR INSIDES APART, FACE ME!", he challenged.
The rogue's leader with his knife in his hand, spun around widely, his eyes moving through the dark forest, his breathing quick as he panicked a little.
"WHERE ARE YOU?", he hissed, turning around in a circle, slashing at the air.
Suddenly a cold and calm voice whispered from behind him.
"I'm right here."
Before the rogue's leader could turn around or even react, a hand shot forward, plunging through his back with a sickening crunch.
Slow and steady the rogue's leader felt a hand wrapped around his heart, squeezing it. The pain was immediate and excruciating. He gasped, eyes wide from shock.
With a brutal yank, the stranger pulled his hand back, bloodied and clutching the rogue's still-beating heart, while the rogue's knee buckled, blood gushing from his mouth as he crumpled to the ground, his knife slipping from his grasp.
"You didn't have to be so brutal brother", The other stranger chuckled.
"He was asking for it, I just had to give him what he wanted", the stranger answered and let go of the rogue's heart, letting it drop to the ground.
As their leader was now dead, the other rogues quickly disappeared, running away, knowing that they would have no chance of winning this fight.
While the stranger who killed the rogue leader wiped his hand with his handkerchief and disposed of it right after, the first stranger walked up to Kira who was checking on her foot and had just pulled out the nail she stepped on earlier,
"Are you alright?", he asked her, his voice low and calm.
Kira nodded, not looking up, still trying to catch her breath, "Just some nail", her voice trembled slightly.
Kira got up from the floor, putting her whole weight on her good foot as she turned to see the strangers who had saved her, "Who are y-"
Her words were cut short as she immediately moved away from them.
"Kira? Kira Valen?", the stranger called out, just as surprised as she was.
"Mate", the two strangers said at the same time.
Kira also felt her eyes flash and bit her tongue to stop herself from uttering that mate word.
"Stay away from me!", she said right after, her face scrunched up in irritation as she moved backwards.
The strangers were the Alpha Twins Bryan And Aiden, the Tyrell brothers. She knew them very well because once upon a time, she was a member of the Crescent Pack and they were her Alphas, that was before she was wrongfully accused and exiled.
"You are coming with us", Bryan the first born twin said with no room for argument to Kira.
"I am not going anywhere with both of you", Kira snarled at them.
"You are going to come with us Mate, when we get back to the pack, then we can talk about everything else", Aiden said to her.
"I said, NO", Kira yelled at them, "I will never go back to that pack, I will never go anywhere with you two, I don't even want to be mated to both of you", she told them and started laughing while cleaning off the tears that rolled down from her eyes, "Do you know what?", she raised her brow at them,
"I reje-"
But before she could complete that sentence, the Alpha twins quickly grabbed her, each on one side, their fangs elongated and bit down on her neck, marking her forcefully.
The initial puncture was like a needle jab on her neck, quickly followed by an agonizing pain.
Kira could almost hear the sickening squelch as their fangs tore through her skin. Her heart pounded violently against her rib cage as her breaths became short and ragged. Gasps from her mouth as her eyes shot wide upon the sudden intrusion.
Her hands clawed at the air and at their backs as she tried to push the Alpha twins away, but they were much stronger and at this point all her trails were just weak and clumsy.
"No! Please, no!", her voice cracked at so much screaming while thrashing against their hold.
Kira's screams were swallowed by the Alpha twins' intense growls as they held her tightly in place.
She whimpered and clawed at their arms some more, her nails cutting their skin, but it was nothing to them.
"Just stop! It hurts! Please stop!", she pleaded with them weakly, tears streaming down her face mixing with the sweat that dripped from her eyebrows.
"Mmm...", Alpha Bryan and Alpha Aiden made a sound.
But her vision was just getting blurry as the pain intensified, she could feel their fangs sinking deeper, marking her. She buckled her legs, but the Alpha twins held her upright, forcing her to stay still.
"Please", Kira sobbed, her voice growing hoarse from screaming and barely above a whisper, "Please, don't do this, I don't want this."
Her body trembled violently as she started struggling to stay conscious. Her strength was waning, and she could feel the energy from her body drain away.
Kira's hand trembled as she beat weakly against their chest, "I'm begging you, both of you please...", she cried, her voice breaking.
Just one Alpha doing this was too much, talk less of the both of them marking her at the same time, especially against her will was just extra, "I c-can't take it. Please let me go."
But the Alpha twins were relentless, not listening to her, their fangs still buried in her neck, marking her as theirs.
At some point, Kira's vision darkened, and she felt herself slipping away.
"Please...stop...", her voice faded to a faint whisper and right after her body went limp.
The last thing she saw before everything went black was the cold gaze of the Alpha twins above her.
Few minutes after she went unconscious, they removed their fangs from her neck, finally done with marking her.
The marks on her neck were raw and inflamed. Both bite marks oozing a mix of blood and saliva. They both gave their mark a lick on each side to help make it heal faster and soothe the pain.
"Carry her," Bryan said to his brother, "Let's go."
Aiden picked up Kira's unconscious body and sat comfortably at his shoulder, "Does she even eat? Look how light she is."
Bryan chuckled and shook his head, "We should be more worried about what will happen when she wakes up."
"She is going to hate what we have done to her, but she is ours, she belongs with us," Aiden said as he and his brother walked to where they had parked their car.
"Well, it was the only way to keep her safe with us and within the pack. We can't lose her again, with our marks and the bond we have together, it will be difficult for her to leave. She won't be able to reject us or break the bond. We did the right thing!", Bryan told his brother, letting out a soft sigh as he agreed with Aiden.
Kira was theirs, and they would do everything to make sure they don't lose her again, not after the mistake they had made before.
The drive back to the Crescent Pack was a long one. They were actually coming back from a business trip, and needed to relieve themselves in the woods before they heard some sounds. They almost ignored it, but something pulled them to the extent where they just decided to follow their instincts and thank the moon goddess they did.
"Welcome back Alphas", A guard rushed up to them as soon as they drove in, parked their car and got down.
"Thank you, get the bags," Aiden ordered as Bryan opened the back seat door and carefully carried Kira out. She was still knocked out hmm.
The guard bowed and did as he was told while Bryan and Aiden walked into their home.
It was pretty late, so everyone should probably be asleep, unless they still insisted on waiting for them to return and welcome them.
"My babies!!", their mom suddenly came out from nowhere, "you both have been gone for two months", she smiled and went for a hug, "oh...", she stopped, "who is that young lady and why?"
The Alpha twins mother asked confused while looking at her sons with a questioning look.
"Our mate, we found her. I must say we got really lucky today", Aiden cleared the room of any confusion, adding a mischievous smile to it.
"But...then why is she that way? Knocked out...is she even breathing?", Their mom glared at them, "Did you two kidnap your mate?", she asked loudly, quickly going to check on Kira. Immediately she saw the marks on Kira's neck, she just knew that something was off.
"Mother please, we will explain everything tomorrow," Bryan said softly to his mom, pecking her cheeks as Aiden did the same, "And we missed you too. Just do us a favor and clean her up, we will lay her down in her new room. I already called before we got here for a room to be prepared."
Their mother still had a suspicious look on her face but agreed.
"Where is father?", Aiden asked, while looking around, "Will he not come to welcome his sons?"
Bryan chuckled and started walking, going up the stairs as his mom and brother did the same, "He is probably upset because we disappeared for two months and did not call him. He will soften up later."
Aiden shook his head and chuckled too, "How could I forget that."
"You boys have to understand your father", Their mom laughed, "Always sulking even when he was the Alpha, the man is something else."
The night ended a little too soon, and the next thing it was morning.
The room got brighter and birds chirped. She groaned and rubbed her eyes, turning in bed.
They watched her wake up, enjoying every moment of cuteness.
"Good morning", Kira heard someone say. She opened her eyes, trying to adjust to the light as she saw the person to whom the voice belonged to.
Memories of what had happened last night flooded back in. Her eyes quickly shot open as she sat up straight, glaring at them.
"Kira", Bryan tried to reach for her, but she moved away.
"Where am I?", she asked them carefully, looking around and then at her body, "where are my clothes? These are not my clothes."
"First you need to calm down", Aiden attempted to make her relax, "To answer your questions, we are back home, and we got you cleaned up."
"Home?", Kira asked, her voice laced with incredulity as she rubbed her face, raising her head right after. Her eyes darted between the twins as her gaze sharpened with each passing moment, they were starting to give her so much headache, "You... y-you changed m-my clothes?"
The only answers she got from the twins was one with a mischievous smile and the other with a smirk.
They just knew how to get her worked up.
"Why would you change my clothes, why would you do anything at all??", she raised her voice at them, "I remember saying I wanted nothing to do with BOTH OF YOU!!!!"
"KIRA." Bryan shouted angrily, making Kira's body jerk violently, as if electrified.
He shut his eyes, his jaw clenching while Aiden had already gotten up, a low growl coming out from his throat.
Her eyes snapped towards them, wide with shock and fear, her heart raced and was pounding in her chest. For a moment, she was frozen, unable to move or speak. Her skin was getting pale, and her breath immediately caught in her throat.
"Are we being too nice to you? Is that why you take us for granted and think you can speak as you like?", Aiden asked her calmly, his voice deadly cold as he looked out the window.
Bryan, who was trying so hard to hold himself back from lashing out, opened his eyes, turned and looked at her closely, "Should we help you remember your place, Omega?"
Kira was literally shaking, her head downcast, "I-i", she tried to speak but was unable to form any word.
"Answer the question Omega", Aiden growled, "Would you like to be taught about your place, perhaps reminded? We can actually help you remember if you keep this behavior up."
"We are your Alphas", Bryan reached out to her and raised her face up with his hand under her chin, "You should be grateful we accepted an Omega as our mate, you should be honored at this privilege you have because many would kill for it."
It broke her, the way they spoke to her, broke her, "This...I n-never asked for it, you can m-mate with the many," Kira said softly, her voice breaking.
Bryan growled, getting more upset, he took her face in his hands and squeezed it.
Her eyes widened as Bryan's fingers closed around her jaw, his grip like a vice. Fear shot through her, making her heart stutter.
Kira tried to pull away, but her struggles were feeble as Bryan's grip increased painfully.
"B-Bryan", Kira stuttered, her voice soft, her body trembling as she panicked.
"Alpha, you will refer to us as that until you learn your place, and maybe we will let you call us by our names," Bryan told her as his grip on her face tightened for a moment before he shoved her away.
Kira's back slammed against the headboard, not too hard, though. Her eyes were downcast as she gasped with shaky breaths.
Her eyes were already watering up a bit as a stung of hurt flashed across her face, followed by a wave of fear. She reached up to her cheeks slowly, her fingers massaging her cheeks gently, trying to soothe it.
Bryan exhaled sharply, got up and left the room.
"Breakfast will be ready in twenty minutes, I suggest you get up, freshen up and get there fast, do not keep us waiting," Aiden informed her, his voice still cold, it was no longer soft as before, "There are clothes in the wardrobe."
And with that said, he left too.
As the door slammed shut, Kira's heart slammed at the same time. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, before letting it out slowly, trying to calm herself.
Her eyes were filled with so much anger and fear, but one thing was for sure, she would find a way out of this place.
Kira got up and went to the wardrobe, the room she slept in was quite spacious and looked really nice. She opened the wardrobe and saw different types of clothes, checked the drawers and also saw a set of underwear.
She tilted her head and picked up the set of underwear and checked it. They looked to be her size. Kira quickly clutched it to her chest she gasped, "H-how did t-they...", she asked herself, quickly putting it back in.
"This is so crazy, I can't stay here", She groaned and just slid to the ground, hitting her head softly on the drawer.
After some minutes of replaying how her life had just drastically changed in the space of one night, she remembered what the Alpha Twins had said. She could be stubborn, but she knew very well they would keep to their words and no matter how much she acted strong, they scared the hell out of her.
Kira sighed and got up, taking out a black trouser and brown shirt, with her underwear, "I won't stand a chance with them, I just have to do as they say until I get myself out of here," she told herself while nodding.
Going into the bathroom, everything she needed was already there.
"Hmm", she hummed and checked for some hot water.
She filled up the bathtub with some hot water and relaxed herself in it, "Oh wow, it's been so long", she moaned out, feeling so relaxed.
Her life after what had happened was very hard with her having no home, being a loner as always even as a rogue, living in the woods/forest, stealing foods, just finding whatever and a way to survive, a lot happened.
Kira could have stayed in the bathtub for like half the day but washed up quickly, cleaning herself and coming out. When she was done, she dressed up quickly, did what was necessary and let her black long hair down, flowing down her back as she brushed it.
They had provided her with everything she would need, but it still did not change how she felt about them.
"I might as well enjoy everything, make them think I want to be here and then find a way out", Kira kept thinking.
She looked at herself in the mirror when she was done and tried to force a smile, it was hard, but she managed to get a little one out, loving her brown eyes.
She got up and decided to just leave her hair up in a messy bun, which she did and then left the room.
Closing the door and turning around, she slammed into someone's chest. Blinking, she slowly looked up and saw that it was Bryan.
"You had to make me come up here to drag you down?", Bryan asked her while she was still glued to his chest, she could hear his calm heart beat.
Immediately she pushed herself away from him and gulped, thinking of what to say, "I'm sorry Alpha, I just g-got carried away by the hot bath, I haven't had one in a-a long time."
Bryan peered at her and hummed. Something in him softened.
He raised his hand and Kira flinched a bit, thinking he was going to hit her, but he just went to her hair and released her bun, letting her hair fall freely, "You look beautiful either way, but."
He ended the sentence there and turned to leave, "Let's go."
Kira felt a tingle as she stood there in shock, watching him leave.
"What was with that act and compliment?", she asked herself, "What was with everything???!"
Bryan, who was already leaving, noticed that a certain omega was not following him.
He stopped and spoke over his shoulder,
"Are you not coming?"
