Chapter 1 VILE OF VENGANCE

Inside the building stood a throne, positioned right in the center of the vast living room, devoid of chairs. The room, fittingly called the "living room," was bustling with numerous vampires, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the most formidable one - Alexander Red, the great king of the vampire race, known for his heartlessness.

A fierce wind blew through the place, causing bells to clang and the very earth to tremble. All present, in reverence and fear, knelt with their gazes fixed upon the floor, avoiding direct eye contact with the almighty king.

The king's voice, echoing through the room, carried an unmistakable danger that struck fear into even the most courageous. Known as Lucifer, he was a powerful creature, feared even by the devil himself.

As the vampires rose from their kneeling positions, their eyes remained cast down in respect and apprehension. Lucifer, seemingly young, concealed his face under a large black hoodie. However, when he revealed his countenance, the contrast between his appearance and his monstrous reputation was striking.

Exuding an air of perfection, he possessed a mesmerizing handsomeness - from his perfect height and captivating pink lips to his red eyes, which oddly held a mesmerizing allure. His long blonde hair cascaded over one eye, adding to his intriguing charm.

Though his features were flawless, his emotions were evident, even in a frown. His ageless appearance raised questions about his existence. How could someone so heavenly be a monster?

Sitting down with his eyes lost in contemplation, Lucifer's aura commanded submission. Reveling in the power he held over humans, he took pleasure in their suffering and was treated as a deity by his followers.

Addressing a vampire named Magnus in a cold voice, Lucifer's chilling presence sent shivers down their spines. As Magnus responded, fear overcame him, and a single mistake led to his fall into a dark hole leading to the furnace room.

Lucifer then called upon Miguel, demanding information from the prisoners. With force in his voice, he intended to extract the necessary details and make decisions accordingly.

In a haze of mist, a figure emerged before the king, emanating the scent of a vampire. This striking vampire, with red eyes and black hair tied neatly in a ponytail, was an epitome of elegance. The female vampires couldn't help but be captivated by his presence.

Yet, despite his composure, the stranger's sudden appearance incited Lucifer's fury. In a display of anger and thirst for blood, Lucifer was ready to strike, but he hesitated as he sensed that the stranger held valuable information.

Upon Lucifer's command, the stranger expressed the desire for a private audience, a request rarely made of the messenger of death. The den fell into an awkward silence, curiosity and anxiety mingling in the air.

Finally, after minutes of anticipation, Lucifer granted the request, and the stranger knelt before him, ready to face the consequences of his actions. He sought revenge for his beloved mother's death, which Lucifer had caused, and was determined to end the tyranny once and for all.

As the confrontation escalated, a powerful force pushed the stranger back, injuring him severely. Lucifer approached with a lethal aura, but the stranger held his ground, filled with pain, vengeance, and anger.

Refusing to die in his first encounter with the king, the stranger managed to sit up, still seething with the desire for retribution. He cursed Lucifer weakly and confronted him fearlessly. However, Lucifer spared his life, warning him never to cross paths again, disappearing soon after.

The minions, taken aback by this unexpected mercy, stared in awe as the injured stranger staggered out of the building. A strange and suspenseful turn of events left them questioning the actions of their heartless king.

The injured stranger staggered out of the building, his mind filled with conflicting emotions. He had faced the feared king and lived to tell the tale, but the encounter had left him shaken to the core.

As he limped away from the den, he couldn't shake the feeling of determination that burned within him. He had sworn to avenge his mother's death, and this near-death experience only fueled his resolve.

Back in the vampire den, Lucifer's minions exchanged perplexed glances, unsure of what to make of their king's uncharacteristic leniency. They had grown accustomed to witnessing ruthless displays of power, but this encounter had shown them a different side of their leader.

Lucifer himself retreated to a private chamber, deep in thought. The stranger's words had struck a chord within him, awakening memories he had long suppressed. He had become the heartless creature everyone feared, but deep down, remnants of his humanity remained.

As he pondered the stranger's quest for revenge, a sense of unease settled upon Lucifer. He knew that his actions had consequences, and perhaps it was time to confront his past, to come to terms with the choices he had made.

Meanwhile, the injured stranger sought out allies to aid him in his mission. He knew he couldn't face Lucifer alone, and he needed to gather information and resources to stand a chance against the powerful king.

His path led him to an underground resistance, a group of vampires who had grown tired of Lucifer's tyrannical rule. They had secretly plotted against him, waiting for the right moment to strike and overthrow their oppressive leader.

The injured stranger shared his story with the resistance, and his determination inspired them to take action. Together, they formed a plan to challenge Lucifer's reign and bring justice to the countless lives he had harmed.

As days turned into weeks, the resistance trained rigorously, honing their skills and strategizing their approach. The injured stranger proved to be a valuable asset, and his quest for vengeance became intertwined with the resistance's mission.

Finally, the time came for their confrontation with Lucifer. The den was filled with tension as the resistance members gathered, their hearts pounding in anticipation.

Lucifer, still grappling with his inner turmoil, sensed the approaching storm. He knew he couldn't escape the consequences of his actions forever, and he braced himself for what lay ahead.

The showdown began, and the resistance unleashed their full force against the king. With courage and determination, they fought for the freedom they believed in, no longer willing to live under the shadow of fear.

In a climactic battle, the injured stranger faced Lucifer once more. Their eyes locked, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. The stranger saw the remnants of humanity in Lucifer's eyes, and the king glimpsed the pain and suffering he had caused.

As their weapons clashed, the truth dawned upon both of them. The injured stranger realized that vengeance alone wouldn't heal his wounds or bring back his mother. And Lucifer, burdened by centuries of darkness, yearned for redemption.

In a surprising turn of events, the injured stranger spared Lucifer's life, choosing compassion over revenge. He knew that breaking the cycle of violence was the only way to truly honor his mother's memory.

Lucifer, humbled by the stranger's act of mercy, began a journey of self-reflection and redemption. He acknowledged the pain he had inflicted upon others and sought to make amends, vowing to use his power for good.

The resistance members, witnessing this unexpected act of humanity, were filled with hope. The war against Lucifer had ended not in bloodshed, but in a transformative moment that changed the course of their lives forever.

In the days that followed, Lucifer worked alongside the resistance to dismantle the oppressive structures he had built. Together, they forged a new era of coexistence, where vampires and humans lived in harmony.

As the den was transformed into a place of unity and healing, the once feared king became a symbol of redemption and hope. His reign of terror was replaced with compassion and a commitment to protect the innocent.

The injured stranger, now free from the shackles of vengeance, found solace in his newfound purpose. He had not only avenged his mother but had also helped pave the way for a better world.

In this unexpected tale of redemption and forgiveness, the vampire den became a beacon of change, proving that even the most heartless creatures could find their way back to the light. And thus, the legacy of Alexander Red, the once feared king, was forever transformed into that of a compassionate leader.

Chapter 2 SECRET'S UNVILE

Students were sitting in the very big classroom, listening intently to the young man standing before them. A picture of a building hung on the chalkboard, suspended by a nail.

"According to history, this house has been in existence for over one hundred years, and it is said to possess magical powers. There's a creature who has lived there for more than a thousand years, but no one knows what he looks like. He never comes out in the daylight," the young male teacher said, and the students gasped in awe.

Ashley, a female student, raised her hand. "Yes, Ashley," the teacher acknowledged, and she stood up.

"What is so special about the building, sir? And what's the proof that there's a creature in there?" Ashley asked, her curiosity piqued.

"Well, there's no concrete proof yet, as all the scientists who went there for research in the past never returned. Everyone who has ever entered the building never made it out alive, creating fear among people, keeping them away from the place," he replied, and Ashley nodded, absorbing the eerie tale.

"What creature lives there, sir?" she inquired again, eager for more details. The man smiled before responding.

"A vampire!" he declared, causing the students to gasp once again.

"A vampire? Do they exist?" Ashley asked, her curiosity growing.

"Yes, they do. Vampires exist, but no one has ever set eyes on them. No one knows what they look like," the teacher explained, and Ashley nodded slowly.

Memories of her dad's death came rushing back to her. When she was just 11, they believed an animal had killed him, but now everything made sense. Her dad was killed by a vampire.

The teacher continued his lecture, explaining the three types of vampires - sanguinarians, who suck human blood; psychic vampires, who drain energy from their sources to gain strength, with humans being their primary source; and hybrid vampires, who have the blood of more than one creature running through their veins. Ashley sank deeper into her seat, connecting the dots about her father's demise. He was once a strong warrior, but the vampire must have drained his energy, leaving him defenseless.

As the teacher delved into the various ways vampires kill - with their fangs, usually biting the neck, draining blood, and using their claws - tears streamed down Ashley's face. Her father had two marks on his neck, which she thought were from an animal attack. The truth was now painfully clear. Did her mom know about this and still lied to her, claiming her dad died due to an animal attack?

The teacher's voice broke her chain of thoughts, and she flinched. Unable to bear the pain of uncertainty any longer, Ashley decided she had to get to the root of everything. She deserved to know the truth - the whole truth.

While the lecture continued, a young man of about twenty-five years old walked into the classroom, capturing everyone's attention. He was incredibly attractive, and the students couldn't help but admire him. However, Ashley recognized him as the man who attacked Lucifer. Her mind raced with questions. Why was a vampire attending college, and wasn't it dangerous?

"Hi teacher, I'm Jasmin Reyes, a newly transferred student," he introduced himself with a charming smile that enthralled everyone present.

"You're welcome to our school. Please take a seat beside her," the teacher gestured toward Ashley, who was still lost in thought.

Jasmin walked towards the seat but halted abruptly as something caught his attention. He sensed the scent of a vampire in the class. Who else could it be - Alex or another vampire?

"Please sit, Jasmin. We need to continue the class," the teacher's voice brought him back to reality.

"Sure," Jasmin replied and took his seat beside the unconscious Ashley. However, instead of focusing on the lecture, he couldn't help but stare at her mesmerizing appearance. Her long, black, shiny hair tied in a ponytail, her pretty eyelashes, and her perfectly pointed nose all captivated him. He found himself lost in admiration of her beauty, wondering if she was a human or an angel, and why everything about her seemed so perfect. The sight of tears in her eyes concerned him deeply. What had hurt this ethereal being, this beauty goddess?

"Please concentrate, Jasmin," the teacher's reminder snapped him out of his trance, and his gaze returned to the class.

"Ashley, are you okay?" the teacher asked again, but before anyone could grasp what was happening, Ashley gathered her bag and walked out of the class, tears still streaming down her face.

She sought solace in the garden, unable to return home until school dismissed. Sitting on a bench, she cupped her face in her hands and cried. The truth about her father's death weighed heavily on her heart. What if it was true? What if her dad was indeed killed by a vampire?

When Jasmin's presence interrupted her solitude, she looked up to find him standing there. He offered her a handkerchief, but she scoffed and turned away, feeling a mix of anger and vulnerability.

Undeterred, Jasmin sat beside her with his legs crossed. "I'm Jasmin... Jasmin Reyes. And you?" he introduced himself, trying to connect with her.

Ignoring him, Ashley stood up, picked up her bag, and tried to walk away. However, he grabbed her wrist, preventing her from leaving.

She glared at him, her anger evident as she yanked her hand away. "Are you out of your mind? Do you touch anybody you meet on the road? Don't try that with me ever again, or you'll regret it!" she warned fiercely.

Ashley then turned and added, "And one more thing, I don't want to cross paths with you again. If you do, you'll regret it. Rubbish!" With that, she stormed off, leaving Jasmin in awe of her fiery spirit.

As he watched her leave, he couldn't help but admire her strength. No woman had ever talked to him like that, but Ashley was different. Her rude personality intrigued him.

Intriguingly, as Jasmin was about to leave the garden, he noticed a familiar presence - a vampire. Not just any vampire, but the same one he had seen back in the den - Miguel!

"Hi, it's been a while," Miguel greeted.

Jasmin scanned Miguel from head to toe, anger building up within him. He remembered the vampire's black leather attire and sunglasses.

"I'll advise you not to mess around with me. You won't like what I'll do to you. Excuse me," Jasmin said coldly, about to walk away, but Miguel's words held him back.

"Don't you think there's more to Lucifer letting you go unharmed?" Miguel taunted, referring to their past encounter.

Jasmin scoffed but remained facing away from Miguel. "Unfortunately, that's the biggest mistake he ever made," he retorted, taking a step, but Miguel's voice persisted.

"Do you think you'll ever be able to fight Lucifer, even if he gives you the chance? Do you think you can ever challenge him? I'll advise you to stay far away from him and never let your paths cross again like he told you. Because you might regret trying anything in your grave," Miguel warned before vanishing, leaving Jasmin seething with anger.

His whole body boiled with fury as Miguel's words echoed in his head. How dare that vampire belittle him? Did Miguel think he was a weakling?

Jasmin's eyes turned black, overcome by his thirst for blood. He needed to quench it, but there were no humans around. In a blink of an eye, he disappeared into the quiet woods, hoping to find a source of sustenance.

His search led him to the secluded road where he detected the presence of fresh blood. He sniffed the air, following the scent until he found a woman waiting for a vehicle. Without hesitation, he pounced, plunging his fangs into her neck, draining her of her life force. The woman fell lifeless to the ground.

After satisfying his thirst, Jasmin's fangs slowly disappeared as he licked the bloodstains from his mouth. He vanished into a hazy mist, leaving behind the consequences of his actions.

Chapter 3 SECRETS UNVILE 2

Ashley continued packing her clothes from the wardrobe, tears streaming down her face. She couldn't understand why her mom had kept the truth hidden for so long. If she knew her dad was killed by a vampire, why didn't she share the truth with her? Ashley felt she deserved to know what happened to her father.

Rosalie Evans, her best friend, and roommate, entered the room and tried to talk to Ashley, but she remained silent, focused on packing her belongings.

"Ashley, I'm talking to you," Rose said again, concerned by her friend's state.

Ignoring the question about her exams, Ashley declared that she was leaving to take care of something at home. Rose was worried about the danger of leaving the school, but Ashley reassured her that she would be fine.

Rose tried to be open with her friend, but she pressed Ashley to talk about what was bothering her. Ashley struggled to find the words to explain her feelings about her father's death, afraid of how Rose would react.

After some prodding, Ashley revealed a vague explanation, attributing her emotional state to the imagination. She didn't want to burden Rose with the truth she was unsure of.

Rose sensed something deeper was going on but didn't want to push Ashley too hard. She assured Ashley that she was there for her and would support her in any way she could.

As the conversation shifted, Rose brought up Jasmin, Ashley's new seatmate in class. Ashley dismissed him, claiming he was annoying and not as handsome as others in Beverly Hills. Rose playfully teased Ashley about the possibility of a love story with Jasmin, but Ashley vehemently denied any such notion.

Ashley prepared for her exams the next day and encountered Jasmin outside her dorm. He offered her a ride to school, which she refused, irritated by his presence. Jasmin was persistent, but Ashley walked away, leaving him in awe.

Meanwhile, Jasmin's encounter with the seductive lady piqued his interest, and he arranged a meeting with her for the following day.

Ashley struggled with her exams in class, while Jasmin finished quickly and left. As he exited, he heard Miguel's voice in his head, taunting him about being the talk of the school.

Miguel, sitting in the corner of the class, was annoyed by Jasmin's attitude and actions.

Ashley was packing her clothes from the wardrobe, tears streaming down her cheeks. The revelation about her dad's death haunted her, and she couldn't bear the weight of the truth alone. Why had her mom kept this secret from her for so long? Didn't she deserve to know what happened to her dad?

"Ashley," her best friend and roommate, Rosalie Evans, cooed as she walked in, looking surprised by Ashley's distressed state. However, Ashley couldn't bring herself to talk to her, and she continued packing her clothes.

"Ashley, I'm talking to you," Rose tried again, but Ashley remained silent.

After finishing her packing, Ashley zipped up her bag and hung it on her shoulders before turning to Rose.

"I'm leaving, Rose. I need to take care of something back at home," Ashley said with a trembling voice.

"What's wrong with you, Ashley? Why can't you talk to me? You have exams tomorrow, for crying out loud!" Rose's frustration and concern were evident in her voice.

"The exams can go to hell for all I care, Rose. Right now, I'm leaving, and there's nothing you or anyone else can do about it," Ashley retorted, tears welling up in her eyes.

Rose tried to reason with Ashley, fearing the danger of her leaving the school without notice. But Ashley was adamant about taking care of her inner turmoil first. She couldn't keep this burden to herself any longer.

"Promise me you'll be fine," Rose pleaded.

"I will be fine, that's a promise," Ashley assured, trying her best to push her worries away.

Rose hugged her tightly, understanding that Ashley needed some space to process her emotions. "Take your time, Ashley. I'll be here for you whenever you're ready to talk," Rose whispered.

Ashley went to the bathroom to wash her tear-streaked face. As she looked at herself in the mirror, she realized that she couldn't hide the truth from Rose forever. She had to confide in her best friend and share the heavy burden she carried.

When she returned to the room, Rose was waiting for her, concern etched on her face. Ashley took a deep breath, ready to open up to her friend.

"Rose, have you ever been lied to by the person you trust the most?" Ashley began tentatively.

Rose's eyes widened with surprise at the unexpected confession. "Ashley, what do you mean?"

With a shaky voice, Ashley recounted the memories of her dad's death and her growing suspicion that he might have been killed by a vampire. She hesitated while revealing the part about vampires and their existence but decided to trust Rose completely.

Rose listened intently, absorbing every word Ashley shared. "Oh, Ashley, I can't even imagine what you must be going through. But you know I'm here for you, right? We'll face this together," Rose said, offering her support and understanding.

Over the next few hours, Ashley shared everything with Rose, from her suspicions to the strange encounters with Jasmin, the newly transferred student. Rose listened, hugged her, and assured her that they would find a way to uncover the truth together.

The next day, as Ashley sat in the exam hall, her mind was still preoccupied with thoughts about her dad and the vampires. She struggled to focus on the exam questions, her hands shaking as she tried to write. When Jasmin completed his exam early and left, Ashley felt a mix of annoyance and curiosity.

Her heart raced as she thought about the events of the previous day. Was Jasmin just an annoying classmate, or did he have some connection to the supernatural world she had learned about? She couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to him than met the eye.

After the exam, Ashley decided to confront Jasmin about his strange behavior. She found him outside the classroom, and before he could speak, she mustered her courage and asked, "Why are you so interested in me? Is there something you're hiding?"

Jasmin's smirk vanished, and he looked taken aback by her question. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I just thought we could be friends, that's all," he said, trying to sound innocent.

Ashley narrowed her eyes, not fully convinced by his response. "I can't trust anyone easily, especially after everything I've learned recently. If you're hiding something, I suggest you stay away from me."

As Jasmin walked away, Ashley couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and suspicion. Could Jasmin be involved with the creatures her dad encountered? She knew she needed to investigate further, but she also understood the potential dangers.

The days that followed were filled with inner turmoil for Ashley. She tried her best to focus on her studies, but the mysteries surrounding her dad's death and the enigmatic Jasmin kept distracting her.

One evening, while sitting in the college library, Ashley came across an old book on supernatural creatures. She began reading about vampires and the signs of their presence. Her heart raced as she learned more about the creatures that had haunted her thoughts.

As she delved deeper into the book, she felt a sense of determination. She needed to know the truth about her dad's death, even if it meant facing dangerous adversaries.

Over the next few weeks, Ashley and Rose began investigating the legends surrounding the mysterious building mentioned by the teacher. They researched vampire lore and consulted ancient texts to uncover the truth.

Their investigation led them to an old historian, who shared chilling tales of supernatural occurrences in the town over the centuries. As Ashley listened to the stories, she couldn't help but wonder if her dad's death was somehow connected to these ancient legends.

With each revelation, Ashley's thirst for the truth grew stronger, and she vowed to confront the darkness that had taken her father from her.

Meanwhile, Jasmin's true intentions remained concealed. He had his reasons for being at the college and was determined to keep his secrets hidden.

As the days turned into weeks and the college year progressed, the paths of Ashley and Jasmin would intersect more than once. Little did they know that their destinies were intertwined in ways they couldn't yet fathom.
