THE COUNTRY'S HOT SHOT IS MY BOYFRIEND

"Damian, have you heard that the company has been bought by a new owner"

"Of cause I have heard, we are in the same company Jenny"

Damian had been working at his dream job for over a year. This job didn't just come easy he had to fight to get there. It was through his blood sweat and tears but just like that it would all be gone in one day. Due to the change in ownership the new boss wanted everyone to interview again to prove they got there based on skills and not any type of connections.

Damian wasn't at all scared because he had to strain himself to get where he was but the catch was, there was a chance that a person wouldn't go back to the position or the work area they were before. It was like starting from the bottom again.

"Damian, what do you think the interview will be like, will we not have work tomorrow?I can't loose this job"

Damian just stared at the creature beside him panicking. But what could he do, he wasn't sure himself that after the interview would be a success. What if the new boss was one of those, bad tempered rational rich people...

"It's going to be fine, and if it's not, we could cry and move on. You know the saying'there is still more fish in the sea' right"

"But I don't think that works in this situation"

Damian just smiled looking at his best friend in the whole world. He couldn't help but remember the first day they met, they both had come for the interview and it was same as it is now. Jenny was all panicky as she was waiting and she unknowingly held Damian's hand and kept repeating

"It's going to be ok, and if it's not, we can try again. Fighting"

Damian remembered just smiling at the figure besides him, not knowing how to respond but allowed her to hold his hand without annoyance. Damian remembered how embarrassed she was when she noticed she was holding her hand. But the words she said would forever remain in him

"You let me hold your hand today, you shared your calm energy with me and for that if I get in this company you will too and if you don't then I won't either"

Damian untill this day never knew what those words ment. As he walked into the interview room all he could wish for was that they both got in. She had to continue her job.

After the interview,everyone returned to their work station hoping and wishing that that wouldn't be their last day working

Damian happened to be passing through when he has a very shocking conversation

"I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time, isn't this Jennifer the girl you asked to go on a date with you but rejected you" One voice said.

"You are right, look who got no choice but to agree to sleep with me or no work for her"

They were talking about jenny, his best friend Jenny. Damian couldn't hold his anger anymore and bust the door open starling the two men inside

"Damian! What is the meaning of this,"

"Damian if you don't let him go,you will lose your job"

By this time whole office gathered around to see what the commotion was about, and some of them tried to separate Damian who was all over punching the hell out of the manager.

"Damian what are you doing, that's the manager you might loss your job"

"Let me lose it, this bastard wanted to use this opportunity to manipulate you into sleeping with him to keep your job"

Jenny's eyes watered as she saw the anger in Damian's eye.

"Please stop being angry, it's scary and I would never sleep with anyone just to keep my job" Jenny said hold Damian's face, tears dripping down her already red cheeks and seeing this side of Jenny hurt Damian so bad

"Don't worry Jenny, we might lose our jobs today, but we are going to go home get drunk, cry, wake up with a hang over but we are going to be ok,I promise" Damian reassured Jenny and just as they were about to live the atmosphere turned groomy and an unfamiliar yet familiar figure walked into the room

"What's all the commotion all about," With an authoritarian deep and cold voice he asked

"Sir it's all his fault, he came out of no where and started a fight," Manager explained pinning the whole situation on Damian.

"Sir it's true it's all his fault," The assistant manager confirmed...And everyone shifted their gaze to Damian who was holding Jenny assuring her that he would protect her no matter what...

"That's not a correct answer to my question, don't make me repeat myself, what's with all the commotion?is this how this company usually operates," Suddenly a cold breeze could be felt across the room as everyone was so quiet you could hear ants chewing

"Well it's about time we shake things up, my name is Li Chu, and I'm the new owner of the Stardom entertainment company,"

Everyone just hesitantly, probably intimidated by the cold figure Infront of them. He was very tall had a cold personality and had an alpha aura. He was the definition of ruler with an iron fist. His face so emotionless that it added his already intimidating self. This was either going to be really bad or really really bad. There was no escaping this

"What's your name, and who do you think you are causing such a commotion in my company (emphasis on the 'my company part').

"Sir it's not what you think Damian was just..." Jenny tried to stand up and defend Damian but he didn't let her

"I'm Damian and am a nobody, just a friend who is ready to do anything to keep the dignity of someone more important than this job to me"

Lu was suddenly interested, wherever he went he struck fear into everyone. Who the hell was this being standing in front of me showing no fear at all to me. Protecting a Friend, huh what a stupid thing to say in my face.

"So you are ready to be fired for this 'friend', right" Lu asked trying to intimidate Damian who stood his ground.

"A hundred percent,"

This was just getting funny for Lu and he could not help but admire the courage of this boy. But no one ever stood on top of his ego and he was ready to keep it that way. He had to find a way to make this boy fear him.

"Well fine then, manager whatever your name is, your fired, I don't tolerate nonsense and I'm not stupid this place has CCTV cameras everywhere. Guards show them out"

Damian was taken aback at what had happened. Maybe this new boss wasn't that bad. But what was the catch.

"You, Damian right what was your position in the company,"

"I was the team leader of group C" Damian boldly said but had this bad feeling in his chest.

"You must be very skilled, that's why I would like to appoint you as my new personal assistant," Lu just couldn't wait to inflict fear into this boy and crush his spirit.

"I'd rather not,"

What was that? Did someone seriously turn him down. Who the hell did this person think he was. Nobody said no to Him.

"What did you just say to me," Lu in a cold voice that sent chills to everyone asked and now Jenny tried to signal Damian that it wasn't the perfect time to show his dominant side.

"I said no, I didn't go to the university to just one day become someone's assistant, well not until I tried"

"What if I made sure no one gave you a job"

"Then I'm going to go to the countryside and I'm going to start farming, you can't command the crops not to grow now can you sir"

No one had ever talked to Lu this way. He needed to find his weak point

"Well you can do that, what about," shifting his gaze to Jenny, "your ' friend', will you take her to the farm with you and farm away Mr farmer"

"This has nothing to do with her, live he out of this,"

So that was his weakness. A weakness that Lu was ready to exploit till his hearts content

"It has everything to do with her, if she wasn't beautiful, the manager wouldn't have taken interest in her, gotten rejected, planned to use his power to get her and got his ass kicked by you and started all this,"

Damian couldn't let anything happen to Jenny, she was his best friend even if it ment working for this high mighty jerk

"You don't have to," Jenny said holding on to Damian. This act triggered Lu's interest. Was he ready to do anything for this 'friend' of his.

"I'll do it, when should I start" This were enough for Lu.

"Now," He said staring right into Damian's eyes. This was going to be a fun ride.

"Well, Mr Damian, you don't seem very excited to be here,"

"Well, Mr Lu, I was forced to be here,"

Lu thought that having many companies and being the most desired and loved person in the country was all he ever wanted. Lu had been voted most handsome face each year after being nominated. Won best actor in every film he was in. He was the most paid model in the industry and won the hearts of both men and women. And looking at this figure Infront of him with no expression of fear nor admiration just made him frustrated.

"Good to hear that, for your first job, I'm giving you a chance to fire anyone you would like from the company"

Damian had thought he had experienced all types of ridiculous things the world had to throw at him but this was a whole new level of crazy

Upon seeing the expression on Damian's face. This felt like victory. He was going to have as much fun as he could with Damian until he acknowledged him.

"Sure sir, it would be an honor to do so," Damian couldn't just let this man get what he wanted. And if it was this he wanted, well two could play that game

"When do you want the names, I can hand them to you now if you were in a hurry...Sir,"

Was this boy challenging him? Did he not know the power he held? He was just an ant to him and he was a tiger. This boy needed to learn his place.

"Not yet, we still had other companies to visit, so put your big boy pants on, it's going to be a very long day,"

Damian could sense that this man was upto no good, but his mother raised no coward. He was determined to show Mr Lu that not everyone was breakable.

"Ready when you are,"

Lu smirked and was more interested to find out what this boy could do. How far his ego could hold on.

"Great, prepare my next outfit, I'll be going to inspect a shooting happening in the other company, I was thinking of something chick but elegant, you can find something that meets that description, right Mr farmer,"

So this was how he wanted to play it. Well he wouldn't know what hit him.

"According to my job description I'm only allowed to approve office related work, you have your glam team wherever you go, it would be bad if I did their job, or are you trying to abuse your power sir, no no that can't be it, you don't seem that idle, right Mr Lu"

By this point Lu just couldn't have it. Who did he think he was talking to. Fine let's see how much longer the both of us could do this.

Damian had been working in an entertainment company for a while but it always involved office work. This was a new kind of experience seeing very famous faces in photoshoot.

"OMG you are so beautiful, are you a new model Lu has brought"

"No sizzy, this is my new personal assistant,"

"Can I have him? Just look at those crestal blue eyes, masculine but still in touch with his feminine side, handsome yet beautiful, you have to let me shoot him, in my new collection 'Feminine Men's,"

Lu had not noticed this but if Damian stayed still and not talk too much, he was very attractive

"I'm so I'm not a model,"

"But this falls under your job description, this is my line of work and I do need assistance to review the new collection. That and I trust sizzy in this type of things.

Damian could feel this was just another plot to show his dominance. In this case he was right be cause it did fit into the job description. How hard could it be.

Sizzy smile when Damian accepted to be his model could show it all, dragging Damian to makeup. Damian didn't usually put on such make up but he did take care of his skill and the ladies who were putting makeup on him couldn't help but admire

"Sir, most of your personal assistant didn't do this type of things, aren't you being to hard on him" Secretary Kim had been close to Lu from the start of his career. And somehow wished he would be less cold and be more open find a date or something.

This was the first time he had seen his boss this interested in someone. Just because he didn't fear him? He didn't think that was why, but this boy was bringing Lu to act differently, he had to make sure this boy stuck around for a very, very long time. That's if they don't kill each other first.
