THE CEO'S; BEAUTIFUL DEMON

"Life is full of surprises." Sapphire read the caption of her photo that was uploaded in her social media account. She has so many followers that awaits her everyday updates. Women in the city, in rural areas are all looking up to her coz according to them she's beautiful and nice, above all she is rich.

"apphy look at the likes and comments, just a seconds since you posted your photo and see, it already flooded." said tianna happily.

Sapphire smiled at her and said "It really is, that life is full of surprises."

"you know you're more than a celebrity, they're more interested in you than the new bloomer now."

"But it's tiring you know, I don't know what they sees in me. I want to be out of their sight." said sapphire.

Tiana laughed. "Then do you want them to be blind? Who doesn't want to be looked up? Its hard not to notice you, for your sparkle are too glowy my dear.

"Then, maybe it's time to be a villain for them to disgust me." apphy rationalized.

Tiana laughed again and said "What kind of thinking you have right now? Seems like you're being starved for days and your brain couldn't function properly."

Sapphire didn't talk further and tianna said goodbye. They've no idea that I'm a villain, If I'm being provoked. She continue to read and signed some documents. Not long after, she fetch her bag and left. She told her secretary that if anyone called and ask about her, just tell them that she's out for a client meeting. But in truth she's going to her hideout and practice in firing more. She arrived at her restricted hideout and the men greeted her. She walked inside the building and enter to her room, changed her clothes into sports attire and out. She saw Alano bringing her firing gear.

"Are you done with the set-up? Apphy asked.

He nodded and they proceed to the firing spot. Apphy instructed Alano to get her pistol and rifle. Not too long, Alano back with the guns she requested. She started to fire until tired and content. It lasts for three hours. The boys watched at the side and couldn't hide their admiration to the lady boss. Too good, never misses her aim. After a long and tiring practice, they go back inside the house. Her phone rang and saw the caller then answer.

"Hey mum! What's up? Apphy said cheerfully.

"Where are you now honey? I know you're not meeting with client. I'm here in your office now, your secretary said so but I don't believe it." Mom asked doubtedly.

"What are you up to mom? sapphire asked instead of answering.

"Well, I'm here to fetch you. I want you to meet someone, he's the son of....'

"I'm not interested mom!" sapphire cut what her mother suppose to tell her.

"Then what are your interests then? You're not getting younger anymore apphy. Don't embarrased me. You're not even going home once after you moved out. We didn't see you anymore. Are you still my daughter?" Mom said in one goal.

"Okay mom! Stop being dramatic. I'll visit you over the weekend. Bye mum, I'm in a hurry." She hang the call immediately without waiting her mom's another none sense word and go to her room and shower. She doesn't like the set-up thing, mum playing cupid for her. It seems like she's for an auction that needed to be sold before the rate went down. Not now mum, men are stressful to handle, and sometimes its hard to chew or digest them, she thought.

Apphy finished taking a shower, get dressed, then made some instructions to her men.

"Be ready next week, we have some agenda to do, make some preparations." She instructed them.

All her men nodded and then she left the hideout.

Sapphire sat in her bed while drying her hair with a towel. Although she's alone in her home with no relatives, she doesn't feel lonely at all because there are some helpers whose with her since moving out. Sometimes she's thingking, what would be her life if his father still around? Maybe she is a happy go lucky girl now as they. A girl whose spoiled and enjoying the riches of her parents. No problem to think of, only wandering around happily does matter.

But her situation now taught her so many lesson about life because at early age, she manage to function and lead herself the best way she could.Still, feeling free and stress free despite managing several branches of her company. After her father died, she took care the company immediately because her mother doesn't want to get involve with it. Atfirst her frustration cause her nearly of giving up, but eventualy, her mother always reminding her that she's a fighter and not a loser. Fortunately, her dad trained her how to manage at the age of six, for the reason, incase he's away someday, her daughter can take his place all the way and this is what happened.

At the age of twenty-two, she handled the company. Then problem after problem begun, all kinds of greedy people came out. They wanted her to get eliminated in her own business, the company that came and built by her father's hardwork, blood and sweat. Sometimes she's thinking that what if there's a foul play happened in her dad's death?! But let go that thought for a moment. Then she realized that it's better to be firm and steel. When she started recieving some threat, she secretly trained herself to be strong and tough.

A knocked on the door awaken her wandering mind.

"Who's that?. She inquired.

"Ma'am there's a delivery parcel outside and they wanted your signature." the helper said.

"You can just signed it and bring the package over."

After awhile, the helper brought the delivered item and give it to sapphire. She closed the door and open the package.

"Again, another threat." Apphy mumbled. I know who you are, just wait and you'll see what you're looking for. She ignore the said threat and go to sleep.

Meanwhile at the company, a man were entering the office, seems looking for something. When couldn't find what he's looking after a long time of searching, he left the building with a frowned and irritated face. It is very important to him to get the document he's been eyeing for awhile now because their success was depending on it. No one matters now except that document that his father intrusted him to find.

Apphy woke at four AM and do some morning exercises. This is her everyday routine for almost six years. She felt relaxed and relived when doing so, her body really got used to it. When finished after half an hour of exercise, she take a shower and get dressed. She then ate her breakfast and go. Usually she is not always an early bird to work but some days are exempted. While driving, listening a news in the radio is a habit. Morning drive is much refreshing to her. She could gather different ideas in her mind and process all possibilities that might be on her advantage. Though it is stressful but she's a person whose very driven in accomplishing her goal in life. She wanted to prove to all the people doubting her ability and supremacy. Everything she does, hardwork, effort, and patience is something her father would be proud of. That's why, now that the people around her inside the company, especially the board, is intimidating her, she definitely wouldn't let them win and showed to everyone that she's not easily get bullied.

After some time, she arrived at her destination. Sapphire get out in the car and went into the building.

"Good morning boss." A bulky man greeted. These people are her source of strength now, that she will rely on something that needs an underground movement. Cliche it may sound but she need to do this for her succeed in infiltrating the bad people who wanted her to fall down. By gathering these men and buying their loyalty atleast it helped her step up and advanced.

"What's the update.? She asked.

"Good boss, a little practice makes their voices tuned melodiously and synchronized." Which means, a little torture makes them confessed immediately.! He laughed being proud to himself.

"Who is it then?" Though she had someone in her mind but hoping that it wouldn't be them for they are her alliances. It hurts to know that the people whose been associated with her everyday plotting an ill decision about her.

"Mr. Rodolfo Austin boss, he is trying to bribe them but they refused and so he threatened them. Their family is in his hands right now.! he said.

"Good! I didn't know this old man is secretly cunning. When faced with me, he's like a scurvy pup that's begging for some food. But behind the curtain, he is busy making some plot. Stupid of me to show him my respect hoping that he'll do the same. This kind of old people deserves no better treatment. Showing them good, for them it means opposite. Soon they'll get the karma they've been playing for. I'd rather show kindness to an animal than to these people whose attitude is much worse than animal. Hmmm, let see how far he can go.! Sapphire narrate who slightly brokenhearted after finding out about the people trying to pull her down.p

"Then what are we going to do boss? These two pleaded us to help their family and promised us to help expose Mr. Austin.

"Get the family and put them into a secured place, then drag that old man in a trap we're gonna prepared for him." Apphy smirked like somethings amusing played in her mind. But let's do it slowly, a little intertainment will do. Let's see how the oldhag coping his failure for trying to fight against me.

"Noted boss." the bulky man salute.

Sapphire left and went to her sub-rural office building. Nobody knows this place except her trusted confidant Alano, Bruno and their men. She built this building in a rural area for some reasons that the enemy would not suspect her that she has the capability to beat and play with them. That is why making her image of such a delicate lady that everyone concluded, that she couldn't even break a glass is her way of watching the enemy works. For that, apphy knew who the real enemy and who is not. By making herself looked vulnerable, its believable for them that they can probably outdo her. It's sad that she need to stoop so low on their level but reality of life is always a survival mode. You need to play your own game very carefully in order to reached success. It took her so long to realize that in this kind of environment is always a competition. Only two option to choose, either playhard or lose. The men guarded the building greeted her. Everyone despersed when she got in but before she could step inside her office, a ringing phone interrupt...

"Hello Bruno.! She answered.

"Boss an intruder entered your office last night and we have here the footage." Bruno informed.

"Okay, I'll be there right away. We'll see who is this dog sneaking." She confirmed.

SKY group and company is one of the topnotch businesses in the country and attachment to it, is the tight security to ensure the building safe from the bad people. Whoever have the guts invading her office is someone who works inside the building. Seems they totally test her patience and desrespect her position. These people wanted to be relevant without thinking the outcome. Are they really that idiot to just set foot inside her office and believe that no one would noticed. She went to her company straight away after.

Sapphire arrived at the main office building immediately. She composed herself instantly into one refined lady, after all people think that she really is a modest person. Always reminding herself to focus her goal and grasp all the best achievement she can. Going in her lift, sapphire conciously listen her sorrounding. Her employee probably idolize her but not the shareholder. Get in her office and saw bruno browsing the computer. Bruno bowed and greeted her then sat again after she nod.

What've you got?"apphy asked. Her curiousity is beyond expectation. For so many years it is the first time that someone barge inside her privacy and tried to get something.

"Boss, as for what I have seen in this footage, this man seems too familiar with the security and roundabout of our building."

"Do you know that person?" something amiss here, although the profile is not familiar but the man figuratively known all her office drawers.

"Yes boss, this is Mr. Fernando's second son." Bruno confirmed.

"This boy have guts. Is he thinking that I'm too dumb to put an important files here in my office?" Her suspecious has been answered. Earlier she'd been informed about Mr. Austin's conspiracy, and now someones added to the lists. Seems her good days are coming on dealing with everyone around her.

"They're making their moves individually boss. I know Mr. Fernando ploted this, after all he's too eager to eliminate you since then." Bruno commented. Knowing the fact that the investigation they have made about these people had showing results now.

"Investigate Mr. Fernando and Mr. Austin deeper, but don't rattle the snake hiding under the grass. Make them dig their hole deeper until its dead end, with that no option in escaping anymore. Let them out on their own accord." She honestly felt weary about them but still frequently reminding herself to just stretch her patience and be understanding as she could for they are elders and a shareholders. But how? When all they did was do something to make her like fool.!

Yes boss." Brunod nodded and bid goodbye.

After bruno left, apphy then posted an update on her social media. Everytime she posted in her story, she's like a missile that rocketed into the sky and sprinkled her luminous glow to all her followers. She quote!

"Envy strikes when you cannot purvey the things that other has and you don't. To make yourself a less envious person, instead of envying others, let that person to be your inspiration in bestowing your own success."

In just a second the quote uploaded, comments and likes were flooded. They say, sapphire is like a timed memo that constantly reminding them to just do good and needn't desire of things that cannot be reach. All of them praised her for she is the true definition of a devine beauty. A beep in intercom woke her slumbering thoughts. The secretary reminded her the meeting with IVT company.

Sapphire stepped in the room together with the secretary, all eyes are focusing on her, admiring her confident aura and drooling over her beautiful figure. The IVT group started the introduction for the goal of impressing the lady. Although IVT is not a big company but they are one of the smooth sailing company that maintain their strong foothold in business industry for over two decade. The ceo is very known for being a nice person and very respectable one. IVT is a family business, not a corporation because the head doesn't want a shareholder.

"Our goal for the future years was to develop and improve the mainstream media/ intertainment industry. For that, even people who do not have a strong support can show their enormous capability specially for those people who truly has a real talent. We aim to be partnered with you Ms. Dimitrius and hoping that you'll gonna be our first ever ambassador." the long introduction ended.

Sapphire keep silent and think. Her silence make them nervous. Even though the woman is not strict to looked at, but she has this charisma that intimidate someone when she's in silence and that what makes them tense in so many levels. Ofcourse the impression of them to make the woman highly impressed is like walking on a thin strings. Then she asked,

"Instead of getting a famous celebrity, why you wanted me to be your first ever ambassador.? Like other company, its very easy to get an exposed advertiser that is very public to the people than choosing a novice one.

"That's our objective for this goal, even though you are not a celebrity but your popularity in the society is above maximum. Your followers are the highest and you're a very formidable influencer." they explained shortly, not sounding desperate. In all fairness, this young CEO can keep up to any famous celebrity and even surpass them in any ways she wants. Her advantage is all in her hands.

What's the benifits?If so, I want an open partnership and won't prohibit the interest of my company." She add. Ofcourse, she need to top her gain when doing everything, and this is not just something regular because it's about promoting other company's brand.

"Not at all Ms. Demitrius, we want you to be the ambassador and ofcourse you're a spoke person in this project. You do the talking by incouraging people to show what they've got by our application program. This only a program which your company and employees can participate and even promote if they're satisfied by using it. It won't prohibit anything at all." They expound the positive outcome to sapphire. In technology, the maneuver is a bit different than a methodical business. Though the process is meticulous but the process is not the same.

After more than half an hour of discussion, apphy approved the said partnership with IVT company. They absolutely persuade her and accept the offer. The nervousness turned into delightfulness. Their effort paid off and give them the chance to worked with one of the most brillant businesswoman in the country.

"We're very glad to have you cooperated with us Ms. Dimitrius." They shaked hands in honor of success cooperation.

"I'm happy that you've choosen me despite of so many fishes in the ocean." She said jokingly. It maybe a joke but truth be told, there are so many people whose very able also to do the part.

The man laughed." The whispers and gossips are truly speaks the truth." He said.

"Oh! and what are those?" She inquire.

"It's says that your humble and nice and too good to be true." He flattered her.

Apphy smile and just nodded, she didn't talk further and just shooked her head. With all the rumors flying around, there's only one or two which is true. What they saw is only the outside but if they learned about the inside, she wonder if they still regard as a nice person. They bid goodbye and leave. She then go back in her office and tend some papers.
