THE BOSS SYSTEM WITH UNLIMITED OPPORTUNITIES IN THE APOCALYPSE

Billy lived a hard life with his loving and caring family. They provided him with everything within their capabilities for him to succeed. Though his family wasn't rich, they did their best to provide for him. He lived a normal life, trying his best to support himself, working as a restaurant attendant with meager salary. He felt like a burden to his family and he tried his best to lessen their burden by working in various areas. He was in his last year of highschool waiting for his graduation and preparing for the future.

His life wasn't easy and he tried his best to support to find a good job that could pay him a descent amount for him to be able to support himself and his family. One day, coming back home from work late at night, suddenly he was attacked by a group of bandits and he was stabbed. Blood continued to drip from his stomach. The regrets of not able to achieve anything worthy for himself and his family rang in his mind. "Dying in such a miserable way, my mom, dad, and younger sister, sorry I could not make it home" his thoughts kept on and on. " If only, I could be the boss, where everything can be within my grasp, my life will have taken another turn" he thought on his last moments,

Suddenly, a voice rank out in his head

"What is this am I hearing, system, perhaps it's the after life" he thought

Transferring all Data into another world beginning.......complete>

"What is happening, where am I ???

This doesn't seem like the hospital, I think I was stabbed, huh, I don't seem to be wounded" Billy said

"Wait, what does that mean, where am I ?? " He said, he immediately understood that he was reborn into another world but still has his appearance

" Everyone is brought into another life with great advantages but I just arrived like that, do they want me dead again" He thought

He checked his system, "Wow, finally I have something good to live"

then he open his beginner pack and saw 100 points, 25 iron, 25 leaves, 25 wood, a bottle of water and 2 loaves of bread.

"At least now, I have something to eat. This doesn't seem bad. I need to find somewhere confortable to build my shelter. For now I will keep 50 points for the shelter,

Ok

It's time for summoning,

System, summon 2 workers and 4 beginner Soldiers"

Suddenly, 6 mists where form, condensing in 6 people

" Cool, they are humans, this system is cool, hope they can work for me well"

All the six summons greeted him

"Ok, this is a good start, hopefully everything will move well. I need to check my surroundings, I don't want to be sneak attacked without knowing what happen.

Presently the scout function isn't operational for now, what should I do, I will clean the surroundings first and see if it's possible to use this place as a shelter or not. This four soldiers are equipped with a sword, shield and light armor each. All of you, what are your names, beginning with the soldiers first"

Then each soldier began to introduce their selves

My name is James,

Mine is John,

Mine is Rebecca,

And mine is Ice

Followed up by the 2 workers

My name is Sandra

And mine is Peter

"Ok, we have have some work to do, I need to establish a shelter but I don't know how our surroundings are, we need to gather resources and clean up the area, I will them up to you, Sandra and Peter follow the soldiers and gather resources within 30 square meters, don't go further than that, lock all entrance in when you are done and come back, I give you all 2 hours for it to be done."

Yes my Lord, all of them said together

All the summons immediately started their assigned tasks. The soldiers began clearing the dilapidated building from zombies whereas the workers followed close by collecting the resources dropped from these defeated zombies.

Billy sat across checking his system panel, seeing that he could summon 1 beginner soldier for free everyday and depending on the shelter upgrade the number of times and type of soldier summon may vary.

Billy decided to make this place his territory and build his shelter here immediately after the zombies clear the surroundings and check if this area is safe.

After 2 hours of clearing the surroundings the soldiers and workers return. Billy asked them for a detailed report on the outside.

James, one of the soldiers came forward and gave his report.

It turns out the surroundings for now is safe and conducive for the building of the shelter. The surrounding zombies have been cleared. A total of 23 zombies have been dealt with.

Then Peter and Sandra came forward giving their report. "A total of 46 sacks of water, 23 meat and 69 bread were looted from the zombies, equally, 30 wood, 23 iron, 14 steel of iron and 61 leaves were peaked up". He equally gained 2 points each for killing a zombie, making a total of 46 points from killing zombies.

Billy immediately gave commands to the 2 workers to gather resources within 100 square meters of where he is and ordered 3 of his soldiers to check the surroundings and protect the workers when the workers gather resources.

As soon as they left, Billy started to find a suitable place to build the shelter, as soon as he found a suitable place, he ordered the remaining soldier to protect him as he builds the shelter.

"System, start the shelter construction".

Suddenly, a sound rang out

The environment started to collapse and take shape, in about 5 minutes the shelter was built.

Billy saw the shelter and was a little impress of the system. He went inside and checked the shelter inside inspecting...

"The shelter is about 30 square meters, with a water pump that can pump 2 litter of water per hour, there is small wooden house at the center of the shelter with some few sets of chairs and a bed, the shelter is surrounded by a 3 meter tall fence and 10 smaller wooden houses in the shelter. All the basic necessities are in the shelter." He thought.

Billy checked the system panel and looked at the upgrade of the shelter. He discovered that he needed 50 wood, 50 iron, 30 steel of iron, 150 leaves and 100 leaves and 100 points.

The present shelter didn't seem to have any electricity.

He immediately, crafted a knife (using 1 wood, 4 leaves, 2 iron and 3 points), and an axe (using 2 wood, 6 leaves, 4 iron and 5 points) which left him with 42 wood, 27 iron, 14 steel of iron, 51 leaves and 38 points.

For now, he has water and food for the night, including his summons at least it can last till tomorrow. Billy decided to make best use of his summons making sure to avoid danger and prevent his summons' loyalty from decreasing. "I need them, so taking care of them and myself is of outmost priority," Billy thought to himself.

At the same time, his soldiers and workers came back later before dark as ordered and gave their report.

"12 zombies were killed and looted (a total of 24 sacks of water, 12 meat, 36 bread were looted from the zombies corpse and 24 points were obtained) and the workers gathered 37 wood, 28 iron, 12 steel of iron, 49 leaves were gathered." As looked at the report and discovered that now he has a total of 79 woods, 55 iron, 26 steel of iron, 100 leaves and 62 points, which is not enough for the next upgrade.

"This is the first day and all of you did well. We still need resources in other to live comfortably and safe. Tomorrow is another day so prepare yourself and be ready for a busier onward. Go and rest, each soldier will take shift every 2 hours to prevent sneak attacks from the enemy" Billy ordered.

Early the next morning, Billy woke up and checked his system panel. He didn't check all the features and added functions of the shelter.

He discovered that he has a new function which is return to the shelter. He equally discovered that he can build 2 new buildings.

Which are; warehouse and the exchange shop.

He decided to summon 3 more beginner Soldiers and 2 workers to increase the effectiveness of the workers. The 2 workers and 4 soldiers summoned yesterday are now level 2 and the soldiers are level 3 respectively.

Billy assigned the 2 new workers to go and gather resources and the 3 soldiers to follow them to protect them as they gather resources.

Then he assigned 3 other soldiers to clear the surroundings of zombies and monsters in the surroundings and be careful of zombies, monsters and other kind of creatures that are above level 2.

1 soldier and 2 workers remained with him. Then Billy ordered the remaining 2 workers to build the warehouse and exchange shop with the remaining resources while the soldier protect them and the shelter during this period. About 1 hour later, the buildings were completed. All the buildings and walls were at level 1.

He immediately checked the system system panel and saw that as the shelter upgrades the building and walls constructed will equally upgrade. For now, he needed to focus on gathering resources and killing zombies and monsters below level 3.

He ordered the remaining workers to gather resources beside the shelter and the soldier to protect them. 2 hours later, the workers and soldiers returned as ordered through the system panel.

He began to check the resources and discovered that he had enough to upgrade the shelter, he was so excited in his heart but couldn't show it outside as the Lord of the territory. He thanked the workers and soldiers for their work in gathering resources and killing the nearby monsters. He ordered them to rest for 1 hour and a half and meet him later for their new tasks.

He immediately began the upgrade the shelter

He was overjoyed, he began to check the new functions and building blueprints he has obtained.

The first new function could be activated twice a day, in which he could return to the shelter wherever he was. "It looks like the upgraded version of return to the shelter," he thought.

Billy checked the second function which is he could activate a barrier across the shelter preventing zombies and monsters of level 2 and below from entering the shelter.

"It looks like other than zombies and monsters, other humans can enter and my barrier presently can only prevent weak monsters and zombies from entering the barrier. I need to upgrade my shelter as much as possible so that I can have security for myself and those I live in the shelter with" Billy he said.

He equally discovered that hi territory has increased from 30 square meters to 100 square meters and buildings and fence has been upgraded to level 2. The wall seem to be 4 meters tall now compared to its previous 3 meter tall self. His lord house equally seem to have some minor changes too. It looks like all the buildings have some significant changes and are more conducive in appearance and living. Even the wall have thicken a little, from the previous 25 cm thick to now 50 cm thick and it looks more sturdy than before.

Some summons are now available for some specific building blueprints when built. These building blueprints includes;

Carpenter building, blacksmith building and a camp training center of level 1 each. Each of these buildings has 1 or 2 free summons to operate them. For example, the carpenter building has 2 summons in charge of carpentry work in the shelter such as beds, chairs, assist in building constructions and other types of work related to its field of work.

The blacksmith building equally has 2 summons, in charge equipments, weapons and various kinds of blacksmith jobs.

The camp training center has a summon in charge of overseeing the camp training center and training of the various military personnels.

Equally, the warehouse and exchange shop has upgraded to level 2 and each of them has a summon in charge of them.

The shelter now has an underground basement where the warehouse is now base.

After an hour and a half, all the 4 workers and and 7 soldiers were gathered at the main square of the shelter, waiting for their tasks from the lord. As soon, as the saw Billy, they bowed their heads,

"Greetings my Lord, waiting for your orders" ×11, they said assigned 2 teams, each of which are made up of 2 workers to gather resources and 2 soldiers to protect them. They were asked to gather resources not more than 500 square meters from the territory. He equally ordered them to not work at night and come back before dark to avoid any form of incident. And he ordered the remaining 2 soldiers to survey and protect the shelter and report immediately when the discover anything.

"Since I arrived in this world, I don't know if there's any other living being like me, hope there's so that I can obtain some information about this world. For now I have to be careful, whether it's a human like me, zombies, monsters or any other type of living creature. What I need to do now is to develop my territory and man power to be able to protect myself and the territory when I go out to gather information," Billy said to himself.

Billy began to make plans for the future awaiting the day he can live a sovereign and cherish life but now he first needed to survive and build a great shelter.
