THE BOND OF THE FIRST BORN

Steven Shao looked more mature despite being just a four-year-old boy. Nathel Luo and Emanuel Mu became green-eyed monsters when they saw Steven had just kissed their self-made girlfriend, Jayleen Renee Mu.

Meanwhile, the girl that they obsessed with knew nothing about the fraud the boys had. She was stunned that she just got a kiss from Steven. Didn't know that she just lost her first kiss at such a young age. She blinks her big doe eyes, looking innocent as ever, which melted the boys even more.

Jackson, her father, was about to make his move, but his wife pulled his hand and made him back to his seat. She said, "Don't make a fuss out of nothing, babe! They are just kids. Just let them figure it out themselves!"

Jackson was about to retort, but the fact that his wife showed is enough to make him shut his goddamn mouth and back to the seat. Not before he sent another series of murderous glares towards Stefan.

Stefan just shrugged. He had no say in that matter. Then he felt his wife lean closer and whispered, "God! I can't believe our son just did that! Oh, my God! You need to teach him later on! Tell him that is not an appropriate act!" Bella was nervous and seriously considered spanking her son.

Her son is just basically declaring war, not among the boys but towards the adult. He showed no fear and stood firm in his belief.

"Don't worry, honey. I'll talk to him!" Stefan agreed, even though just now he had just thought not to interfere in that matter. But, since it was his wife's request, he can't say no to that.

Eight Months Later.

Outside the emergency labor room, there stand the important and famous figures, looking worried with their wife standing by their side.

They had rushed Farah into the labor room after she got the alarm of giving birth. Being a doctor, she knew the difference between the false alarm.

Daniel, who was about to be a father, accompanied his wife inside the labor room while outside, friends and family were standing, sitting, crowding the hallway.

"God bless her... God bless her..."

"Please... Bless her..."

The murmurs from the females can be heard in that eerie hallway. They became nervous since they knew what it takes to give birth. Not to mention Farah had two babies coming, which doubled the pain that they once experienced.

Rubbing her arms, Jackson kissed Kalen's forehead. "She will be fine, baby. Don't worry!" Kalen pressed her lips together and nodded.

All of their friends were there, too. The Luo, Shao, Mu, Si couples were all there waiting. Both Farah's parents were in the labor room, helping with the delivery process.

Daniel's parents were the ones amongst them who waited on the outside. Right now, there is only prayer that they can do, hoping that everything will be fine.

Inside the labor room, Farah was half sitting with legs wide open sweat drenching her entire body as she tried to push the baby out. The nurse and the doctors are busy doing their part during the process.

Daniel keeps on encouraging her from the right side. Kissing her hands, her forehead from time to time. William, Farah's father on the left side, holding tight his daughter's hand and keeping cheering on her.

They were the only male in that room because that was Daniel's demand. Lucky for him, both of his parents-in-law are doctors. Though they were not the obstetrician, they knew the procedure.

Besides, there were also two of the best obstetricians in that room to monitor the entire process. Michelle, Farah's mother, was the one in charge and the head of the procedure.

"You are doing good, my love!"

"You can do it, my love!"

"You are the best! You are great!"

Those were the cheering chants that Daniel keeps saying. The truth was, he was scared inside. This was the first time he ever saw someone giving birth, and it was worse than he had expected.

'No wonder my friends look so pale after walking out of the labor room!' He said to himself. He remembered he ridiculed his friends for being a coward and now he experienced the same and learned a lesson!

"I can see the head! In three, take a deep breath, my daughter!" Michelle announced. She was excited to receive her first grandchild in minutes.

Farah exhales and inhales. She made eye contact with her husband. Daniel caressed her hairs that were drenched from the sweats. "One... Two... Three...!"

"Arghhh!" Farah screamed on top of her lungs and her hands were trembling, holding on to both her father and her husband. Daniel's heart was beating so fast and it broke his heart to see his wife had to through an enormous amount of pain just to give him a child.

"I got one! I got one!" Michelle announced and Daniel's head snapped in the direction.

Michelle's voice was trembling in happiness as she announced, "Boy! It's a boy!"

Farah smiled, and she urged, "Go! Look at your son!" The pain was still there because she still had one more baby to push out.

Daniel didn't want to leave her side, but Farah urged him one more time, so he walked to the side where Michelle was still taking the baby out from the crowning.

Daniel watched his son being pulled out from his wife and he staggered backward, dizzy because the scene before his eyes then vomited before he fainted at that very moment!

"Oh, God! Honey! Get to him!" Michelle shouted and William with two other nurses brought the fainted Daniel to the other side of the floor.

As much as Farah wanted to laugh at her husband's reaction, she still had one more baby to push.

One and a half hours later, the crowds were now moving into the largest VIP room in that hospital. They placed two chubby healthy babies in their bed on the right side of their mother.

While on the left side, there was another patient, who unfortunately was their father, that was also wheeled out from the labor room.

As much as the men wanted to hold their laughter, they simply couldn't. Slowly, Daniel blinks his eyes, and the light on the ceiling is blinding him, which made him close his eyes momentarily before they opened. Under his hazy eyes, he scanned around and saw the room was crowded with his friends and family.

"Well, well, well. Look who just woke up!" Nathan said and everyone turned their head in Daniel's direction. The men had their smug faces, indirectly mocking him.

"Never thought the warrior would faint in the labor room while he was not the one giving birth!" Stefan's comments made everyone burst into laughter.

Daniel rolled his eyes. He didn't care about that anymore. They could say whatever they wanted because he was determine to get his vasectomy first thing first tomorrow morning!

He got off the bed and went to his wife. "How do you feel, my love?" He asked carefully.

Farah looked tired, and he totally understood that. Farah smiled at him and answered, "I'm fine, my dear. Take a look at our babies!"

Babies?! Oh, yes! I got the twins!

Daniel temporarily forgets that he has two babies in Farah's stomach. At the same time, he was grateful that he fainted before he could witness his second child coming out into the world!

Kalen and Angel held each of the babies and they walked closer before giving one after another. Daniel holds two of his babies in each of his arms. "What are they?" He asked.

"The question from the one that was supposed to accompany his wife into the labor room and cut the umbilical cord!" Louis didn't leave a chance to make fun of Daniel. Louis faced the same reaction as him but at least he got to cut the cord before he fainted.

They laughed once again. Daniel turned his head and faced his wife, ignoring his friend's laughter and sarcasm.

"Boys. Both of them were boys!" Farah answered. Daniel looked shocked. Well, that was unexpected. He thought he would get one boy and one girl, just like Jackson did.

"Looks like you can't pair them up with my twin!" Jackson announced and again earned laughter filling the room.

Farah chuckled. She then said, "The one on your right is the first and the left one is the second."

Daniel smiled. Even though his plan to pair up his twin with Jackson's twin didn't take place just like he had in his mind, that's fine. He was lucky enough to get the two children at one time. "Even though I can't pair them up with your twin, they still have a chance, don't they? So now, I present to you, Darrel Gu and Dawn Gu!"

The men can only shake their heads helplessly and the girls applaud, loving the name that Daniel just gave to his sons.

The noise made the two newborns whine before they cried. Daniel quickly gave them to his wife and right then, the door opened, revealing Jonathan and Marie, along with the five kids; Jayden, Jayleen, Steven, Nathel, and Emanuel.

They visited Kalen's house, and they had a little reunion with the others before Farah got the contraction. So, they stayed back to watch for the kids.

Jayleen rushed to the bed and saw the two babies were crying. Her eyes blinked in amusement and smile so wide at the sight of the baby. Daniel happily helps her and makes her sit at the edge of the bed.

"Why are they crying?" Her small, cute voice asked.

Daniel patted her head and said, "They were hungry."

"Oh... They are so cute. Don't cry, baby... Don't cry..." Jayleen said lovingly in her childish voice. Surprisingly, the twin stopped crying that instant. Kalen and Angel go back to the bed with the baby bottle in their hands.

"Eh... Aren't they crying just now?" Kalen asked as she took the older baby, Darrel, and began to nurse him. Angel took another one, Dawn, with questioning eyes too.

Daniel couldn't be happier. He then said, "My daughter-in-law was the one who calmed them down! So lucky to have such a loving daughter-in-law!" He kissed Jayleen's cheeks and brought her into his arms.

"Here we go again!" It annoyed Jackson that her daughter became the same topic all over again. He unconsciously turned his head in Steven's direction, where he noticed that the little boy had the unpleasant look written all over his face. Steven didn't bother to look at the baby.

The truth was, he didn't want to come with Nanna Marie and Papa Jonathan because he knew that his mother, Farah, was giving birth to his other competitors. As if he didn't have enough competitors.

He got enough scolding from his daddy, Stefan, because of his rash action during the wedding. But that didn't stop his determination at all.

"Father, what is a daughter-in-law?" Jayleen asked because lately she often heard the word as Steven said to her she will become his wife and his parent's daughter-in-law.

"Daughter-in-law is a girl that married a man and she became the daughter-in-law in that family! In this case, you are my daughter-in-law!" Daniel explained cheerfully.

Steven heard it all, and he jumped off the couch and stood before Daniel. The adults just wait for the same drama to happen all over again. Daniel squinting his eyes at him, taunting little Steven. It was Déjà vu, yet again.

"No, father! You are wrong! Jayleen will be my parent's daughter-in-law!" He said sternly with his knitted brows creased forehead.

Holding Jayleen tight in his arms, Daniel then fights the little boy. "Nope! She will be my daughter-in-law!"

The little boy didn't back out. He climbs on the nearby bed to have eye level with the childish adult in front of him. When their eyes met, Steven smirked. Raising his eyebrow, Daniel was amused at Steven's courage.

Steven raised his chin, looking so proud. Everyone was waiting for what he was going to say next and they were shocked because that was not something they were expecting.

"In case you forget, I wanted to remind you. The firstborn to rule, remember?!"

Twenty Years Later

B Country now became one of the largest economies in the world with the B city becoming the most luxurious and advanced city in the world. The country got the best reputation with high-income citizens and a low rate of poor citizens, even in rural areas.

Well-developed economy, high technology, advanced communication, a lavish lifestyle, top in fashion, B city became the dream of every other citizen to live in and they knew to get those dreams, they needed to get a place into the biggest contributor to B country's economy, the X Clan.

X Clan was the one that holds over sixty percent of the B country's economic activities. From food chains, clothing lines, jewelry, restaurants, café, hotels, cars, phones, buildings, laws, even the underground world, and pretty much everything, it got X labeled on them.

X Clan became one of the most famous clans in the world because they were the one in the top list of the wealthiest clans that ever existed.

The X Clan was the combination of the most powerful families in the B country. Mu, Si, Luo, Ling, Gu, Lu, and Shao. They became the rulers in the business world and every skyscraper in the B city was the proof of their hard-built empire.

They chose their employees among the best of the best and their empire was the dream where every student wished to get in. The high salary, generous bonus, and other benefits are tempting enough for anyone to get their place in the company.

The other reason was the heirs of the empire that were labeled the most golden bachelor of the country. They were now taking over the company and made it blooming under their new management.

Most of the heiresses, including the female employee, tried their best to get noticed by any of the heirs, and nope! They didn't get a glance from them.

Jackson Mu and Kalen Carina Si's son, Jayden Rafael Mu, were the one that led the X Clan along with his sworn brothers and sisters. He had been taking the role four years ago when he reached the age of twenty at that time.

Jayden and his sworn siblings were given the time of twenty years to do whatever they wanted, and by the age of twenty, they must take over the company.

It was the rule made by his father, to which every one of his sworn fathers agreed because they knew the kids wouldn't have time for themselves in the future. Because they got an empire in line for them to take care of.

Lucky for them, the boys knew their responsibility very well, and they knew it would happen and they had no regret because they had the freedom and enjoyed their life before taking over their family's businesses.

They were geniuses when it comes to business. If their fathers were labeled stone stoic ruthless CEOs, imagine having a younger version of them but with twice more tension.

The boys knew what it takes to be a businessman. They were all well-trained and knowledgeable since they had their masters in business education, plus they had a strict father that showed no mercy when it came to their mistakes.

If not because of their sweet, caring, and loving mother, they might have gotten killed a long time ago.

In the legendary Mu Group building, which is now known as XC Headquarters, the top floor, which is the 60th floor, was where eleven CEOs' offices were located.

The floor was renovated back four years ago to make an office for the boys. Five offices were on each side of the wall. The middle one is where their secretaries work stations.

They preferred to stay together for the reason that they might need each other. Well, that was an excuse because they had their different reason to stay in the building.

One of them was because of the famous beauty in the business world, Jayleen Renee Mu! The one that occupied the room in the middle of the top side of the floor connected each side of the square floor.

The owner of the room's name was nailed to a gold pleated plate on the door. The order of the room was simple. Sorted by the age of the owner. The middle room belongs to Jayleen. It was supposed to be Jayden, but he refused for the reason that his sister was the peacemaker amongst the boys, so she got the middle one.

On the right side of her room, there is Jayden's office, Steven next to it, followed by Nathel, Emanuel, and D twin, Darrel Gu and Dawn Gu.

Dawn is rarely in the office as he is a doctor and spent most of his time in Elite B Hospital, his grandparent's hospital. He was the one that followed his grandparents and his mother's step and he became the youngest surgeon in that hospital.

While on the left, the first room belonged to Kayden Cedro Si, the son of Kevin Cedro Si and Mikayla Gu, cousin of the J twin. He just reached the age of twenty, the same as D twin as he was born two months after Daniel's twin. Kayden was the only son of the couple. No other siblings.

Right next to his room, it was still empty though as the owner has yet reached the age of twenty. He got two more years before he occupied the room. The room belonged to Elijah Mu, Emanuel's little brother. That made two of them the sons of the couple Louis Mu and Emily Fu.

Next to Elijah's room was the other empty room. The room is decorated with pink pretty much everything. It belongs to Nathel's little sister, nineteen years old, Nathaly Adele Ling. Wait a minute! Why does she get her mother's last name? Well, according to her parents, she was a precious one, and they got Angel's mother's name in the middle.

She is indeed special because she was the apple of her parent's eyes and now she is studying law at Harvard University as she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps and become a lawyer. Her brother, Nathel, was a lawyer too, but he wasn't really into that part since he engaged more in the business world.

In fact, her existence was unknown to the world for the reason that they wanted to protect her, which proved true and Nathaly was the one that enjoyed the freedom the most because no media, no reporters coming after her in her school.
