Nicholas was in the office with his feet on the table while the little coolness in the air conditioner made him forget the tiredness that resulted from a lot of work that day.

The sound of the door being knocked on clearly meant that there was someone who wanted to get permission to get inside. He hadn't heard it

Suddenly the electricity went out and that's when he found out that there was a knock on the door.

He returned to the chair and sat without a care about the person who was knocking on the door, once the voice was heard again.

"Yes, come in..?" said Nicholas.

It was his employee Edina who was like an assistant at the office.

"Edina, what is it..?"

"Am..someone is here to see you.."

"Who is it..?" Nicholas asked while straightening the collar of his shirt.

"It's a woman, he's out there"

" A woman, who is that woman who comes without an appointment, anyway, let him in" he said then stood up and straightened his body.

A large office selling valuable items was owned by Nicholas and his wife Celine who was always at home looking after the family, it was rare to find Celine at the office.

Nicholas was famous in the whole city, everyone one of Nicholas. He started with the sale of sake and vegetables in the area, then he stopped and dived into the craft of furniture and now he is the owner of a large company of valuable home equipment and decor. It was an honour for a young man to have made such an accomplishment at such a young age.

When Edina arrived at the reception, she found the man waiting.

"What did he say" The woman asked with a smile

" You can go, he's in his office."

"Okay, thank you"

She was a woman whose face was new to Edina, she thought she had seen her somewhere but she couldn't recall where she had seen her, she just ended up looking at the woman going up the stairs.

The woman was none other than Beatrice, the only woman who ever loved Nicholas beyond description and that day she had decided to go see Nicholas and find out her fate.

When she arrived inside his office, she went inside and took a seat while looking at Nicholas and the conversation began.

"Beatrice, when will stop bothering me?" asked Nicholas.

"Nicholas, I didn't come here to say hello this morning, please let me know the situation first," Beatrice said in a gentle voice.

"What is the problem? Explain yourself "

"Ok fine..!! I think you know what my problem is Nicholas and I have told you many times before. I love you, I don't know why I love you so much when you and I only made love once" Beatrice said as she got up from the chair and started walking towards Nicholas.

"Hey stop..!! Stay where you are and let me tell you something thing, forget about the past and live your life. Forget that you and I ever dated before, it's been years now" Nicholas said putting on a disgusted face.

"Nicho ...Nicholas, your love still lives in my heart. My heart has become a guardian of your love... I know you know that, why are you hurting me like this?" Beatrice spoke as tears began to flow from her eyes.

"I don't want to see you shedding tears. Had I known it was you, I wouldn't have told Edina to let you come in here. Listen, your time has passed, I'm married and I have a beautiful woman. you know Celine, she's the right woman for me." Nicholas spoke without looking at Beatrice who was shedding tears.

"I hurt for you, I am suffering over a man who doesn't share my feelings, Nicholas. If you married, what does it mean when your love still lives in my heart" said Beatrice whose dress she was wet with tears.

"If you knew you didn't plan to marry me, why did you sleep with me.. why did you show me, such sincere love, so this is my payment... I gave you my most cherished possession ..Nicholas think about me, please I beg you" Beatrice continued cry talking and this time she completely knelt down before Nicholas.

While this was going on outside the office, someone came inside. That man looked very smart in his black expensive suit that fit him well. He arrived at the reception and found Edina busy on the computer.

"Hey.!! Is the CEO i? I am here to see him" asked the man without a greeting.

" Manners. Learn politeness in other people's offices! Be a gentleman and say hello" Edina said.

"Ok no problem hold on.." he answered with a stern look on his face.

The man seemed to be holding an envelope in his hand. When Edina told him his boss was in the office, he looked at Edina carefully and then said.

"Ok..! I need to talk to him"

"He's with a.." Edina was saying but before she could finish Nicholas was there with Beatrice who was wet with tears.

"Edina, if you see this woman here, tell her to leave please.. call security and tell them that I don't want this whore here" Nicholas said angrily Edina was surprised.

Despite all the harsh words that Beatrice received from Nicholas, she remained silent instead and looked at the man who was at Edina's desk.

"Mr.Nicholas, my name is Mr Joshua, I work at TCRA and this is a parcel for you. Please take care and let I'll take my leave" The man introduced himself as Mr Joshua, put an envelope on the table for Edina and then he left.

"TCRA..!! Cargo..? Mr Joshua..?" Nicholas asked himself questions but did not find the right answer.

"Nicholas, I am leaving, but one day you will remember me. My tears will not flow in vain" said Beatrice who started leaving while looking at Nicholas holding an envelope in his hand.

" Please Go. You are a whore, Tha day will never happen" he said and then he went with the envelope to his office.

When he arrived he distractedly opened the envelope but what he found inside, he couldn't believe his eyes. His heart beat faster, his head started hurting.

However, inside the envelope, there were pictures of his wife with a man in a room. There were also some which, when he looked at them, he saw clothes he had bought her three days ago.

"This is not..not my wife..she is the one who is betraying me like this.." he said with his mouth trembling, he quickly picked up his phone and called his wife but she was not available. He then received a call from an unknown number

" Hope you got your gift. Welcome to the scandal" the man's voice said and then hung up.

Nicholas went crazy after the man hung up the phone, he found himself putting a pimple on his forehead while his mouth trembled.

"It means my wife...My wife.....is not safe satisfied with me? I do not satisfy her...Celine ..!!Celine ..Celine...aa. what's wrong with me? Fuck..!!" He said loudly as he threw a kick that landed on the table.

He looked at the picture on the table and then looked at his watch.

"It's three o'clock in the afternoon, let me go home. If I find this bitch, she will recognize who I am. It's impossible, it's absolutely impossible......" he said loudly until Edina, who was at the reception heard him shouting. She was shocked, then she got up and went to her boss's office.

"Yeah, the Last Visitor. Where did he come from..?" Nicholas asked again as he rolled up his pants and his knee started bleeding.

" He said he was from TRCA, what's wrong?"

"Enough..!! It's none of your business, did he leave a contact number..?" Nicholas quickly changed the subject trying to hide something that was bothering him.

"No..! He didn't leave his contacts because he wanted to see you and I was abo.." Before she could finish talking, Nicholas stopped him.

"Edina.. Edina, I think that work has started overwhelming you. How many times have I told you that all the guests should leave their phone numbers " he spoke angrily as he felt like slapping Edina.

"Last warning, be careful with your job. I don't want a repeat of this incident," said Nicholas while trying to calm himself and try to stop the bleeding.

While that was going on, Beatrice was in the car with the man who had been to Nicholas's office.

"Hello, sister..!! My name is George.." Joshua introduced himself as George while giving Celine his hand for a handshake.

"Oh..!! Hello, I Am Celine ..Celine " Celine introduced herself as she shook Joshua's hand.

Joshua used Celine's act of shaking his hand as an opportunity to quickly hug and kiss her on the lips. Celine was so shocked by the sudden intrusion that she froze for more than 30 seconds.

Beatrice managed to take a video of the kiss. She was very happy inside her heart and couldn't contain her excitement. She quickly sent Nicholas the video by using a different number and not her usual phone number, she attached a message that reads like this.

" I just finished fucking your lovely wife right now ..! Yes, she is saying goodbye to me here. But she isn't that great in bed anyway, I don't know why you are clinging to her" she sent the message with a smile on her face.

Joshua's side was pushed and he fell but he didn't want to stay there for too long. He got up without saying anything and then left very quickly without looking back. When he got to the car, they left without delay.

Celine remained at the door still shocked from what had just happened. She did not know the purpose of the man coming there to do what he had done. At first, she felt like the issue of being forced to kiss another man who was not her husband, a man she did not know and without her will angered her. She kicked her feet on the ground in anger and then she closed the door and went back inside.

"Who is that..?, Why did he come to introduce himself and then go ahead and kiss me..?, Why did he run away so quickly after that disgusting kiss and get into the car? There must be something going on here, someone must have sent him...Yeah, someone sent him or there is a game being played on me. If it is not my husband, then someone must be playing me" she said to herself as she took a sit on the sofa.

She certainly didn't see the comfort of her house at that time. She felt lonely considering she was by herself in the whole house, she quickly got up and went near the table where there was a cable and plugged her phone into the charger.

The phone had been off since morning because of the electricity problem that had occurred last night and the repair had just been done a few minutes before the strange man knocked on her door. So she used that opportunity to charge her phone.

"At last it's full, " she said then turned on her phone and threw it on the sofa, she then went to her bedroom.

When she came back and picked up the phone, she found that there were twenty-two missed calls from her husband and they had come in not long ago.

"My husband must be mad at me," she said with a smile when the phone rang again for the twenty-third time.

" Hello baby, I'm so sorry. I left the phone on the couch and went to the.." said Celine in a gentle voice but Nicholas interrupted her.

"Aanh ok..!! I have sent you something on your phone. Please open it and then tell me who you are holding hands with and the others you are bringing home..?" Nicholas said then hung up the phone. Celine continued talking without knowing that Nicholas had hung up the phone.

" Did he just hang up on me?.." she said while taking the phone From her ear and turning on the data.

The messages started coming in chaotically and she didn't know which one she was answering, but there were two different numbers at the top, one was her husband's which had ten messages and the second was a foreign number which had six messages.

She quickly rushed to open her husband's messages first. She started to see the pictures that her husband had sent. She started to download and suddenly a video came in which was only twenty MB followed by a forwarded message.

" I just finished fucking your lovely wife right now ..! Yes, she is saying goodbye to me here. But she isn't that great in bed anyway, I don't know why you are clinging to her" She read the message first, and her heart raced. She tapped twice on the part where there was a video, and then the video opened.

She couldn't believe her eyes. It was her with a young man who introduced himself as Joshua and she hugging him and acting like they were kissing each other.

"Jesus Christ..!! Jesus, Jesus, what is this, Lord..!" Celine said out loud as she hurried back and started looking at the pictures that were sent to her as well.

"What!! These are not my underwear, this isn't me. How come I am with a man" she said out loud while looking at the pictures.

Her eyes were red like a person who had pepper in her eyes, slowly tears began to roll down her face and fall to the ground. Celine could not tolerate the situation she was going through, she could not even open the messages that were sent from the foreign numbers.

Tears fell on the glass of her phone as she tried to wipe it but suddenly her phone rang again. The person who was calling was none other than Nicholas.

"Celine, my wife.. let me ask you, what have I done wrong towards you that you are changing men like this..? That is why you like staying at home so you can have time to see your..?" Nicholas asked three questions at once.

"Nicholas ..!! I think that my marriage is in trouble, some people are trying to destroy my marriage..! I didn't do it.." Celine interrupted him and said while crying. Then she stopped and wiped tears from her eyes and continued.

"This video is me..?" Before she could even finish her sentence Nicholas interrupted.

Celine kept crying even when she tried to call, Nicholas's phone number was unavailable. She became more and more confused as to what was going on in her marriage, who caused all these problems? She did not have a clue.

Beatrice was just arriving at her home. She arrived and parked the car in the yard and then went inside, but before she could even sit straight, there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it..?" Beatrice asked.

"It's me Nana..?" Answered a woman who was outside and introduced herself as Nana.

"Ahh, okay" said Beatrice and then she went to open it, but before anything, Nana started talking.

"My friend..! You know very well that I look like Celine, although not by much, but I did your job of taking pictures with that man. You promised to give me my money, how many days has it been now?" Nana spoke with a sigh.

"My dear, I'll give you your money" Beatrice answered in a gentle voice.

"Huh..! Are you making a fool of me? You are playing with me. I have Nicholas's number, remember I have all the conversations we had. If you try to cheat me out of my money, I am going to send them over to him. When will you give me my money..?" Nana asked while shaking her chest.

"Tomorrow evening I will bring you the money" answered Beatrice.

"Okay, okay, make sure you pay the money for the make-up and cosmetics," said Nana and then she picked herself up and left.

Back Beatrice thought about what should she do considering she had no money.
