THE BILLIONAIRE'S HOUSEKEEPER

‎Have you ever met a young, handsome, rude, and very arrogant Billionaire like Leonard??? I guess not.

‎On a fateful Monday morning, Leonard Blackwood had just come back from Amsterdam for a business trip with his business associates, leaving his two kids, John and Mary, at home. John is the first child,he is 7 years old while Mary is just 4 yrs old.

Leonard was married to Cynthia a few years back until they got divorced, and since then, he has been the only one taking care of his two children alone. He was a single dad.

‎Only for him to get to his mansion that evening to meet everywhere in a complete mess, no clean up or sanitation was done in his mansion while he was not around and it really pissed him off.

‎He told his P. A to put out a job vacancy for a house keeper outside the gate and inform their agency to send them a new house keeper to clean the house, cook his meals, Wash his luxurious cars, Prepare his children for school and wash clothes as well and he made it clear he wants a female housekeeper within the range of 20-25yrs preferably a single lady yet to be married and must be a university graduate.

‎He had just fired the former house keeper because she was about to get married and he doesn't want a married woman as his housekeeper even though he tells no one why but he was rigid on his decision.

‎After a few days, the Agency reached out to Leonard to say that they've found just the perfect lady for the job, and he should make the necessary payment, and they will send the lady down to his mansion.

The following week, Early Monday morning as early as 8am, Leonard heard some banging on his gate and asked the Gateman to open the gate for the person.

‎Alas it was the new Housekeeper that the agency said they would send to his house was the one at the gate.

‎She came into the house and met Leonard sitting in his luxurious and expensive living room, and she introduced herself as Abigail Smith, A graduate of Osun State University from the department of Pharmacology. She showed him her CV and Leonard was impressed with her CV and also he loved her vibe, her intonation, her fluent English, her beauty swept him off his feet, but he is the boss and need to act like one so he hid his likeness for her and had an interview session with her asking her if she has any experience of working as a housekeeper and if she is a very cook she replied "Yes" she had work for one family in the next estate B4 the family traveled out. He asked a few other questions and finally after the whole interview session, Abigail got the job.

‎She couldn't even hide her joy and happiness upon getting the job; she was to be getting #400,000 as her salary every month, and that would be more than enough to take care of her needs, her parents, and see her siblings through the university. She was very happy about the pay.

‎Leonard called out his kids and introduced the new housekeeper to them, and she will be the one to take care of them and every one of their day-to-day activities/needs and also help them with their school work henceforth. That was why he was very particular about requesting a fresh university graduate only from their Agency, he brought out a file that contained the contract details which she was to sign as the new Housekeeper

‎She was to resume work the following morning.

‎As early as 7am the next day which was a Monday morning she was already at the gate knocking, she had to wake up very early that morning feeling so happy about her new job and the pay so she had to leave home as early as possible to beat traffic and get to work early and leave a good impression of punctuality for her boss.

‎After a few minutes, Adamu, the gateman, opened the gate for her and she went into the house. She sat down in the living room while Adamu went upstairs to inform Leonard about the new housekeeper's arrival.

Leonard came downstairs with his two kids, John and Mary, Abigail stood up to greet her new boss and his children, after they've exchanged greetings he asked her to go and make them breakfast as fast as possible and prepare the kids to school as well because he will be dropping them at school on his way to the office that particular morning.

It was just a simple task but then Abigail knew she had to be very fast about her cooking so she can prepare the children for school as well and at the same time she wanted to prepare just a perfect delicious meal for Mr Leonard and his children so they will be impressed with her cooking skills.

She was shown the way to the very big luxurious kitchen of her new boss Mr Leonard,she was really surprised how just someone's kitchen is as beautiful and luxurious as this. She was shown and told everything she needs to know,where to get whatever she needs to cook.leonard's P.A showed her everything she needs to know and left her alone in the kitchen to do her cooking.Abigail really wanted to impress her boss since it's her first day at work and that's her first cooking task given to her.

After pondering on what meal to prepare she finally decided to make Toasted bread and fried Eggs. Afterwards she made tea quickly as well to accompany the bread and fried eggs.

After she finished making breakfast,she went ahead to set the dining table for her boss and his children. She went upstairs to inform her boss that the food is ready.

Abigail went upstairs to call her boss, on getting to his room door,she met the door wide open,she looked around she couldn't find her boss.

She kept peeping into the room to see if he was Inside the room or not so she walked into the room to confirm

She was really shocked by how Big and beautiful his room was, Mr Leonard must really be a very wealthy man she thought to herself. While she was busy admiring a wall picture glass frame of a very beautiful woman right at the center of his bedroom, Mr Leonard stepped out of the bathroom and saw her staring at the picture What's wrong?? What are u doing here?Why are you in my room?? Mr Leonard shouted from behind.she almost ran out in fear because she didn't see him come in. She replied "I came to inform u that breakfast has been served on the dining table sir" he replied ok go get the kids, I will join y'all downstairs soon as she was about leaving the room Mr Leonard ask her to go into the bathroom and pick up all the dirty clothes in the basket and make sure to make use of the washing machine in the laundry room downstairs and Also John and Mary always come back home from school by 4pm everyday so make sure to prepare their lunch before the driver brings them back home.

She immediately rushed into the bathroom to get the dirty clothes and rushed out of his room.

She rushed downstairs to go get the children, on getting to their room,they were still in bed sleeping she woke them up,took them to the bathroom to shower and brush their teeth and help them dress up for school and brought them downstairs to have breakfast.

After some minutes,Mr Leonard came downstairs to the dining table to join his children and have breakfast. Abigail remained in the kitchen,she ate her breakfast in the kitchen and packed the children's lunch and snacks inside their lunch box so they won't go hungry all day at school.

She was wondering why Mr Leonard shouted at her that much upstairs just because she went into his room unannounced, "Does he not allow anyone into his room" "Or was he just in a bad mood that morning" "did someone offend him or has she offended him in anyway" different thoughts passed through her mind,she got really scared, she didn't want to lose such a very good job with a very good pay just because she went into her boss room so she thought to go see Mr Leonard personally before he leaves for work so she can apologize for entering his room unannounced earlier

She took the kids lunch box along as well,on getting to the dining table the children were done eating, her boss was in the car outside waiting for his children to join him so he will drop them off at school

Since Mr Leonard was in a hurry to get to work she didn't get the chance to apologize to him that morning so she thought to herself that she will make sure to talk to him in the evening when he gets back from work.

She went back into the house, went straight to her bathroom to shower first before she start the day's work, she had some laundry to do for her boss,she still have to clean up his bedroom,change his bedsheets and that of the children as well and few other clean up in the living room as well

While she was cleaning up the big living room,she saw a small glass frame of that same very beautiful woman she had seen in the frame in her boss bedroom earlier in the morning, out of curiosity she moved towards the TV console to pick up the frame,she admired the beautiful woman in the frame,her smile was so bright and delightful she must be a very,sweet, loving and caring woman.

She was thinking in her mind who the woman was and why her picture was literally everywhere in the house,and suddenly the glass frame fell from her hand and it broke on the floor, shattered and the picture messed up.Abigail shouted "Oh my God,what have I done" "How on earth did this frame fall from my hand for God's sake" "why did I even pick it up in the first place"

Immediately her mood had changed,she instantly regretted why she picked up the frame in the first place

She knelt down to pick it up,she tried to arrange the glass frame back but it had broken really bad

"My boss was mad at me just this morning" "now I've broken another glass frame again" "how do I explain the broken glass to Mr Leonard when he gets back from work" "what if he gets really mad at me" "what if I lose my job" "where do I start from" "Or should I just dispose it and he might not even notice that the glass frame has gone missing" "Today is just my first my day at work" different thoughts passed through her mind.

She decided to pack it up and she will explain to Mr Leonard when he gets back from work, beg him if she has to, apologize and ask for his forgiveness

She finished up with her cleaning and every other work she had to do. She went back to the kitchen to prepare lunch for the children. She prepared jollof rice with chicken and freshly squeezed orange juice for the children. There was a meal timetable in the kitchen she is to be following to prepare the children's meal

The kids got back from school by 4:36pm she took them upstairs to put off their uniforms, have a shower and come downstairs to serve their lunch

Did she mention the broken glass picture frame to her boss when he got back from work?

Leonard got home very late in the evening due to the business meetings he had at work.

Time was past 11pm when he got home,he went upstairs to check on his children,they were fast asleep in their various rooms, even Abigail has retired to bed

So he went back to his rooms to go freshen up and come have dinner

[At the Dining Table]

Mr Leonard was silently having his meal

Then he heard footsteps along the kitchen,he quietly stood up to go and check who was sneaking around the house in the middle of the night.

Only for him to get to the kitchen and see his house keeper (Abigail) checking for something in the fridge.

He walked towards her and shouted right behind her "What are you doing here" "Why are you sneaking around the house"

She almost fell down, she was scared, she didn't see her boss walk in she replied "I was feeling thirsty sir so I came to get water sir"

Ok when you're done with whatever you are doing here, come meet me in the living room.

He went back to the living room and a few minutes later,she came to meet him in the living room.

She stood before him, "Sir, please about me barging into your room in the morning while you were having your bath in the bathroom.

I'm very sorry sir" she went down on her knees immediately "I didn't mean to intrude your privacy sir" "pls don't fire me sir" "such won't ever repeat itself again sir" "I'm very sorry sir" "Pls don't fire me sir, I don't want to lose this job sir" "I am the breadwinner of my family sir pls don't sack me sir"

[Mr Leonard burst out in laughter and mimicked her] "Pls don't fire me sir" Who said anything about firing you? But let that better be the first and last time it repeats itself or else you will lose your job immediately.

"Get up" don't let me repeat myself "I said stand up"

There are some things you should know about me, things I tolerate,the little things that pisses me off, my principles,my "do's and dont's" "my rules" now listen attentively.

I work very hard everyday so I pray for a day when I will come back home from work very tired and hungry and demand for my food and you start giving me excuses, I'm putting it to you, that's the day you lose your job.

I don't play with food, I'm a wealthy business man that watches his health so I eat good food so I make sure to always eat according to the meals timetable in my kitchen. The meal timetable is directly from the family doctor to watch our health and ensure what we consume is good for our health.

While you work with me,you have to be very sharp,be smart,be fast,be dedicated to your work,Don't go beyond your job description,never in your life should you beat my kids.The day you hit my children,I will make not only fire you, I will make sure to have u locked up In cell for weeks.

Also I don't play with my time, I leave home for work by 8:30am, I want the kids prepared for school and make sure they have their breakfast as well before 8:30am,I can't afford getting to office late "Do you understand me clearly now" he shouted at the housekeeper "Yes sir, Clearly understood sir"

And also tomorrow evening prepare an extra meal for a plus one, I'm expecting a friend of mine tomorrow,he will becoming in from Canada to Nigeria for business

And he will be spending a week with us

She replied "Ok sir I will do exactly as you've said sir"

"You can leave now" Mr Leonard replied

The following morning she woke up as early as 6am just so she could meet up with the time her boss would leave for work. She prepared white rice,stew with all sorts of assorted meats and fried plantain as well.

She dished the food and served it on the dining table and also packed up the lunch box with food, snacks and juice.

She went upstairs to the kids room, woke them up to prepare for school, brought them downstairs to eat breakfast, while they were having breakfast their Dad came downstairs all dressed up and ready to leave for work.

He had a few spoons from the breakfast, he couldn't even wait to finish his food, time was far gone and a client was waiting for him at the office. He left with the kids and rushed down to work.

It was Abigail all alone in the house,she did all her daily routines, completed all of her house chores.

Abigail suddenly realized that she had completely forgotten about the broken glass frame that fell from her hand yesterday, it didn't even cross her mind to mention it to her boss while they discussed it at midnight. "That could have been my chance to explain myself to him and ask for his forgiveness" Abigail thought to herself

She was worried and started thinking of what to do.

She checked that it was past 2pm already,"The kids will come back from school soon, I should go prepare their lunch now" she said to herself.

She prepared egg sauce and there was bread in the freezer and she made freshly squeezed pineapple juice for the children. That was the menu for their lunch on the meal timetable in the kitchen.

She decided to watch a movie while she awaits the children's arrival from school

She fell asleep while watching TV. She heard the car honk outside and she woke up "Oh thank God' it was not Mr Leonard,it was the driver that came to drop the kids.

She took them upstairs,put off their uniforms,cleaned them up and served them their lunch downstairs.

John and Mary Came to meet her to help them with their School homework and she gladly helped them, Mary was beginning to like this new Housekeeper, they are getting along so well, she was already calling Abigail "Aunty Abigail" "Aunty Abigail" all over the house

After they finished with the Assignment, she wanted to go and prepare dinner for the family and Mr Leonard's Guest that's visiting later in the evening but the children were already enjoying her company,they didn't want her to leave.

So they kept begging to join her in the kitchen and watch her cook, she had no choice but to just allow them to follow her to the kitchen and watch her cook after listening to their Incessant begging.

She kept them at a distance, to avoid any form of household/kitchen accidents.

They watched her cook happily, John was so curious while she kept cooking. He kept asking questions "Why are you putting it inside" "what are you frying" "why did you put that thing inside" while Mary kept going on and on about tasting the fried rice and chicken she prepared she poured a little portion of fried rice and chicken inside a plate for both of them to share.
