THE ALPHA'S CONTRACTED LUNA

I was walking through a dense forest. The sound of birds and animals was heard all around me. I just removed the plants and small trees in front of me with my hands. The sound of water is heard from a small distance from me. I followed the sound of the water by removing the obstacles in front of me quickly. Finally, I reached the side of the flowing water. Surprisingly, the water is coming from a huge nearby waterfall. It looks amazing. I stepped into the water and headed towards the waterfall. I can feel the coldness of the water in my legs. Slowly I moved towards the waterfall.

When I got near the waterfall, I saw a man standing near the waterfall. I can't see his face, his head is towards the waterfall. My legs slowly move towards that man. Reaching near him, I can see his hot body. He didn't wear a shirt. That man's body is wet. A sudden feeling felt in my whole body. I finally came near him and stopped my walking.

"Who are you?". I asked.

Silence

"Who are you? I repeat the question.

"I am your mate".

A rough voice was heard. The man slowly started to turn towards me.

"Claire". Mom's voice was heard.

I woke up from the dream. Just another dream? This is the third time this dream has haunted me. I always saw a man in every dream. The interesting part is I won't see the face of the man in the dream. Is my mate approaching me quickly? So, finally, I am getting a mate?

"Claire" Mom started to shout.

" Mom, I am coming," I shouted back.

I get up from my bed and go straight to the bathroom. When peeing, my mind is filled with the picture of the man standing at the waterfall. Who is he?

"Claire, where are you?. Hurry up, beta Sam commanded to clean the conference room immediately".

My mom's voice was heard from next to the washroom door. She started knocking on the washroom door.

" Mom, cool down. I already cleaned the conference room yesterday itself". I said.

" Beta Sam already commanded us to clean the room. Whether you cleaned the room yesterday or not. You must clean the room immediately again". Mom commanded.

"Yes, mom. I will clean the room. That's my job"

Mom's footsteps go away from the washroom door. So, I want to clean the room again. What's so urgent? Is any important meeting taking place today?

I wore my cleaning dress and took the bucket with water in one hand and a mop in the other hand. When I reached our kitchen to see Mom, she was preparing our breakfast. Mom's face looks very tired. She always finishes the job for the alpha family early. She is the main cook for the alpha family. My mom Sara is the favourite omega for Luna Ellis. I came near to Mom. When I reached near to her, she looked very angry at me.

"What are you thinking, Claire? You must wake up in the early morning. You are an omega. We omega always have duties. We must do our duties whatever happens. Blue Moon is our pack and Alpha Tyson is our alpha. We live for our pack and alpha. Don't forget and act responsibly" Mom said.

"Yes, mom. I will do my duty". I said.

"Good girl". She said by making pancakes. I moved towards the pack house main building.

On the way to the main building, I heard gunshots. Oh moon goddess, they already began their training? I increased the speed of my walking. Now I can see Arnold and his gammas were training. They didn't see me until now. All are focusing on their training. My feet were hardly placed on the soil. I want to increase the speed of my walking a little bit and also want to maintain zero noise. I slowly moved from Arnold and the team. Thanks, moon ...

"Stop there".

I stopped and I looked at my back. Arnold is coming towards me. My hands started to shake. Some drops of water came out from the basket.

"Where are you going, fucking omega?" Arnold asked. Arnold has the right to ask. He is a beta and brother of Beta Sam.

"I was going..." I tried to open my mouth, but I couldn't.

He looked at the bucket of water and mob in my hand.

" Are you going to clean the toilets?"

" Confer... conference room," I said.

" Conference room? For what?. To discuss the internal matters of the pack?

Everyone started to laugh except me.

" Did you find your mate?. I was looking for a mate". Arnold said.

I didn't look at his face. My face was looking down.

"Are you mad? This creature is omega". One of the gammas standing with Arnold said.

" Maybe she is omega. But she has a nice ass. I like the doggy style very much".

Everyone started laughing. When I look at Arnold's face, He is showing doggy style to his friends.

"What is happening here?". A rough voice was heard from a distance.

I looked at the place where the sound came from. A few metres away, Beta Sam was standing. He is looking at us with a red face. Sam is the beta of Alpha Tyson. He is the second in command of our pack. Sam looks more powerful than Arnold.

Arnold and his team moved away from me and kept a distance. Sam comes rashly towards us.

"Why are you late?. The conference takes place at any time. Hurry". Sam said to me after reaching near to me.

"What are you looking at? Get back to training". Sam commanded Arnold and the team.

Without a second thought, I started walking fast to the conference room.

I was cleaning the conference room. There is no dirt or dust in the room. The room is clean. Yesterday I cleaned this room myself. I must clean this room. But like my mom said, duty is duty. When cleaning the floor, the face of Arnold appeared in my mind. That asshole always makes me a joke. One day I hit that bloody beta with my hands. By thinking of slapping Arnold, I came backward without noticing that the bucket filled with dirt and water was lying behind my back. I hit the backet and the dirt and water on the bracket fell to the floor. Oh, the moon goddess. I am dead. I heard the sound of the handle of the door. The door opens, It is Sam. He entered the room. He comes towards me with a tense face.

"Is the cleaning done?" Sam asked.

At that time, Sam noticed the dirty water on the floor.

Suddenly, some people started to enter the room. One of them is the powerful and ruthless alpha Tyson. When Sam saw Tyson, he went near him. I don't know what to say or do. I looked at Sam. But he looked at me with sympathy on his face. Tyson slowly came towards me. He looked at the floor. Tyson came aggressively close to me.

"You didn't even know how to clean a room?" Tyson asked.

I looked at the floor. I don't dare to look at the face of Tyson.

"Look at my face, you bitch" Tyson growls. His eyes become red. He slammed in my face with his hands. That slam hurts me a lot. Tears started coming from my eyes.

"Get out, you bitch" Tyson growls.

After taking the empty bucket and mop in my hands, I slowly left the room with tears in my eyes.

When I reached the corner of the main building, I put the bucket and mop on the ground. Still, tears have been running out of my eyes. I want to sit alone for a few moments. Nobody comes to this side of the building at this time. I sat on the ground and started to cry. I cried like a baby. Alpha's that slap still hurts me. He slapped me in front of everyone which hurts even more than the slap. I know omega's life is like this. We didn't get any respect from anyone. To my amazement, Luna Ellis appeared in front of me. She is looking at me. I suddenly got up from the ground.

" Are you crying?" Luna asked.

"No, Luna. I was just sitting here". I said.

Luna came closer to me and looked at my eyes.

"Your eyes tell a different story," Luna said.

I didn't say anything. Luna runs her fingers through my red cheeks.

"Looks Like someone slapped you in your face. Who?''.

"Alpha". I said in a low voice. Luna's face filled with sympathy.

"Claire, you know about the arrogant character of Tyson. He can't control his temper. But he is a responsible alpha. He is facing lots of problems now. So, please forget what happened today". Luna said. Her soft words started to heal my heart. After hugging me, Luna moves slowly away from me. Luna Ellis always takes care of her pack. She is just a few years older than me but she is a mother to our pack. I heard some people saying she can't give a baby to Alpha Tyson. But in my heart, she is the best Luna.

At night we had dinner. Sometimes mom looks at my face when I get slapped. Her face is filled with sorrow. But she never shows her pain outside.

"Mom, I'm alright. Have your food peacefully". I said.

Mom knows the life of omega is like this.

"Claire, we can't control the actions of one's that are above us. We must be careful."

After that, she didn't say anything to me. We ate our breakfast in silence.

I was preparing to sleep. There is a lot of work in the pack house tomorrow.

"Claire". Mom called me from her room.

"What Mom?. I'm going to sleep". I said in a loud voice.

"Just come here for a minute"..Mom said.

"I coming"

I went straight to Mom's bedroom. When I reached the door side, I saw mom sitting on her bed. She is wearing her nightdress. When she saw me, Mom waved her hand to come near her. With a smile, I went near her.

"Claire lay on my lap". Mom said.

I sat on the bed next to mom and I lay my head on my mom's lap. It's been a long time since I laid on my mother's lap. I feel safe there. It calms my mind. That calmness I never experienced in my whole life. Mom started to cuddle on my forehead. I closed my eyes slowly.

"Are you sleeping?" Mom asked.

"No, mom. I am just feeling your cuddling". I said without opening my eyes.

The memory of alpha slapping still lingers in my mind. That pain is still in my soul and body. Suddenly the tears started to fill in my eyes. The tears started to flow through the closed eyes. I suddenly got up from mom's lap and started to wipe the tears.

"Hiding tears never heal your pain, sweety". Mom said. Mom put her hand around my shoulder and moved me closer to her. She looked at my eyes. Her eyes look very sharp.

" Claire, when I lost my George in a battle. My life becomes hopeless. At that time, you are in my womb. I don't know what to do.I don't know how to survive. It felt like my life was ending. One day, an old woman came closer to me. She gave me food and shelter. That old woman always says to me, " Life is like a battle. Never surrender". I want to tell you the same thing. Never surrender in your life. Face bravely whatever things come to your life".

She kissed my cheek where alpha slapped.

"Go to bed and sleep peacefully, my love". Mom said.

"Good night, Mom," I said and got up from the bed.

"Good night dear"

I came out of the room.

I was looking at the mirror in my room. My image appeared in the mirror. I know I am an average girl. Today I got insulted by Arnold and the gang and got slapped by Alpha Tyson. But I never surrender in my life. Suddenly a gunshot was heard outside of our house. I was shocked. I get out of my room. Mom was already at the window and looking outside. I came closer to Mom and asked,

"What is happening, Mom?"

"I think we have been attacked". Mom said.

"Is it a rogue pack?".

"I don't know"

Suddenly, someone started hitting our front door. I was scared and came closer to Mom. In the next minute, our front door broke into pieces. From the broken door, already-shifted wolves get inside our home. Their arrogant red eyes were looking at us. The two wolves started to come towards us.

"Claire, run," Mom said with a scared face.

"Mom, we can't escape from them"

Mom takes her hands from me and goes straight to the wolves.

"Mom, no". I screamed.

"Run, Claire"

The wolves were biting my mom. I took a stand and hit one of the wolves. The stand was broken. The wolf leaves my mom and comes closer to me with blood in his mouth. I looked for a weapon, but before that, the wolf hit me with his hand. I lost consciousness before closing my eyes. I heard my mom screaming.

When I opened my eyes, I was lying in bed. The sunlight shines on my face. I looked around, lots of people were lying on different beds. Some of them are sleeping and others are lying with open eyes. I feel immense pain in my body. I have a bandage on my head. So the wolf didn't harm me much, thanks, the moon goddess. I looked around. Where is mom? I slowly got up.

"Don't get up from the bed. You need rest". A voice came from the corner of the room. I looked in the direction where the sound came from. Nurse Eva is coming towards me.

"Claire, you need rest. Your body is weak". Eva said.

"Eva, where is my mom?. I want to see her".

"Sara is not here. Maybe in another ward". Eva said.

I got up from the bed quickly without Eva stopping me. Eva tried to stop me by holding my hand, but I didn't stop there.

"Claire, please stop". Eva shouted.

I got out of the ward. Eva is right, my body is weak. It feels like I will lose my consciousness. Sometimes I pressed the wall for support. At that moment I started to notice the broken glasses and doors of the pack house. Nobody is there in pathways, it feels like a deserted place. Where has everyone gone? A rotten smell started to come in my nose. A big attack took place here. My eyes captured a huge crowd of people some distance away from me. I think They all are standing at the crematorium ground. I slowly walked towards the crowd.

When I reached the crematorium, I moved forward between the people. Finally, I reached in front of the crowd. In there alpha Tyson and Sam are standing there. I was shocked to see our beloved Luna Ellis lying on the crematorium ground. She is still glowing even in the crematorium ground.

"I never forgive alpha Luke for killing Ellis and attacking my pack. We avenge them". Alpha Tyson screamed. Everybody, including Sam, shakes their heads in support of Tyson. I noticed that not only Luna's crematorium ground there. There are a lot of them. Lots of people's lives were lost in yesterday's attack. One of the crematorium grounds gets my special attention. I slowly walked towards the crematorium ground. "Where are you going?'. Everybody wants to stop me, but I move forward. Please moon goddess. It felt like my life had ended near that crematorium ground. My mom is lying on the inside of the crematorium ground. I looked at my mom for a few seconds. Feels stuck, everything around me feels like it has stopped. I fell to the ground and shouted, "Mom, please don't leave me".

There is no movement in my mom. A silence filled there.

My mom is gone. I can't sleep or eat. When I close my eyes the image of mom appears in my mind. I haven't stepped outside of my home in two days. I'm just lying on my bed. Silence filled the whole house. Suddenly someone started to knock on the front door. Why is someone knocking on the door? There is no door there. Only broken pieces. Still, the knocking continues. I got up from my bed. I slowly walked towards the door. When I reached the door, Beta Sam was standing there. Is he here to scold me?

"Claire, I know you lost your mother. Sara is a good omega. She always does her work properly. Especially the needs of Luna Ellis. Your mother is gone. So, the responsibility of looking after Alpha's family is yours now. You must get to work fast". Sam said.

After saying those words Sam disappeared from in front of me. At that moment my mom's voice echoed in my mind. " We must do our duty whatever happens' '.

I go straight to the washroom and take a bath. After that, I took the things for cleaning and headed towards the main building.

The way to the main building is covered in silence. Pain is filled in everyone's face that passes near me. They didn't recover from the attack like me. Before I entered the main building a group of people were standing in the corridor. They were talking to each other. Their faces are filled with seriousness. Passing near them, I heard them talking about Alpha Tyson. I stopped walking, I was standing a little distance from the crowd.

"Alpha Tyson is in depression. He is not eating or sleeping after the death of his luna. He is dying, and our pack too". One man said. He is a gamma, one of the best soldiers we have.

"Our pack needs new alpha. Otherwise our pack gets destroyed. We must save our pack".

I knew that voice, so I looked at the crowd carefully. That is Arnold. Suddenly his eyes fell on me. Arnold gave me a weird smile. I withdrew my eyes from him and entered the main building.

I got into the staircase and started to climb the staircase. Alpha lives at the top of the building. Is everyone plotting against Alpha Tyson? Our pack is going through a tough time and they want to get the alpha position. That is ridiculous. Did I need to inform the alpha? Yes, I must inform this to alpha. Otherwise, it will affect our pack. The staircase is in a luxurious hall. I have never been here. I didn't have the permission to come here. As a luna's omega my mom has only come to this corner of the building. The hall is filled with expensive furniture. There are a lot of paintings on the wall of the hall. One of them is Alpha Tyson's father, Alpha Luke. Where is Alpha Tyson? I looked around the hall. My eyes spotted a door. I came near it. The sound of beta Sam is coming inside the room. So, I knocked on that door. Talking inside of the room stopped. Then The door opened, and Sam appeared on the other side of the opened door.

"Finally you came. Get inside". Sam said.

Sam completely opened the door for me to enter. I entered the room. Unexpectedly, my eyes caught the face of Alpha. He is sitting in a chair. Our eyes caught for a second. Suddenly, Alpha withdraws his eyes from me. I started to look into the other side of the room.

"This room became a mess. So clean it quickly". Sam said.

"Yes, beta". I said.

I moved away from Tyson and Sam. Then I went to another corner of the room and started my work.

"We must prepare for another attack by Rex. He lost his twin brother. So, he will never rest until the destruction of our pack". Sam said to Tyson.

I slowed my work and gave some focus to Sam's conversation. He is talking a bit loud. I can easily hear that.

"Sam, I don't know what to do. It feels like I am incapable of leading the pack. So, I must...". Tyson said. There is no confidence or command in his tone, only depression.

"Don't. Please don't talk like that alpha. You are a capable alpha. The pack knows that". Sam said.

I must tell the conspiracy against Alpha. Did Sam also know about the conspiracy?

Suddenly, Sam started to move towards me. I speed up my work. Sam came closer and said,

"Claire, after cleaning this room. Then focus on the hall and other rooms. Today onwards you are in charge of cleaning this side of the building. And I would like to give you another responsibility to take care of Alpha. You must do whatever Alpha wants. We need our alpha Tyson back. Is it clear, Claire?" Sam said.

"I understood, beta". I said.

After that Sam opens the door and gets out of the room. I continued my work.

After some time, I completed my work in Alpha's room. The next job is to clean the hall and other rooms. Before that I had to ask Tyson if he wanted anything, So, I walked slowly towards Tyson. He is still sitting there in the chair. His eyes were closed. Is he sleeping?

"Alpha?" I called him in a very low voice. He slowly opened his eyes.

"Alpha, did you want anything?" I asked him.

Tyson is looking at me with amazement in his face. His eyes become brightened up. He gets up from his chair. I take two steps backward. Tyson started to come towards me.

"Ellis, come near to me". Tyson said.

What about Ellis? Is he thinking that I am his dead Luna? Without warning, Tyson hugged me. The mop and the bucket in my hands fell to the floor. Before I understand what is happening. Tyson already took me in his hands. I can feel the strong hands of Tyson. He is carrying me towards the bed.

"Alpha, please stop. Leave me". I begged, but Tyson didn't bother.

Tyson throws me in the bed. He started to undress his shirt. I don't know what to do. He entered the bed and came closer to me. He moves me closer to him by crossing one of his hands on my shoulder. The distance of our lips becomes shorter and shorter. Finally, our lips become locked together. Now he is tasting my lips. I want to stop it, but I can't.
