❄️ CHAPTER 01 ❄️

In an extremely dark cave which wasn't only dark but dead silent, so quiet that one could hear the echo of a tiny needle dropping to the floor, footsteps could be heard approaching. One couldn't see the face of the visitor, but not until it came into view thanks to the small rays of the sun entering the cave.

It turned out to be a young and handsome guy. But looking at his face, one could see he was scared, one could see the fear in his eyes as they roamed around, trying to familiarize themselves with the place.

" Sebastian ... " A very hoarse, deep, and terrifying voice boomed over the whole cave, making the ground vibrate. The guy jolted up as his heart skipped in fear. Swallowing hard,

" Y...e...s " He stuttered.

" You came after all, didn't you? " The voice laughed slightly.

" You knew...I would come? " Sebastian questioned in shock and surprise.

" I know everything, Sebastian " The voice boomed again. Gathering enough courage, Sebastian, whose head had been bowed since hearing the voice, finally raised it.

" Since you know everything...I guess... you already know why... I...Erm... I'm here " He tried not to stutter again.

" You have only but one wish, one chance, so hit straight to the point " Exhaling deeply,

" My only one wish is to have... money, wealth, fame, riches...call it whatever, I want everything that has to do with money... "

" That's four wishes, Sebastian! " The voice thundered in anger and Sebastian flinched in terror.

" I'm... sorry " He apologized immediately with a bow.

" I'd like to wish for all those things I listed to be granted " He requested instead.

" It's a simple wish, easy to be granted " The voice hummed and Sebastian was already smirking in satisfaction.

" But ... " His smirk vanished immediately.

" Are you ready to give me whatever I want? " The voice questioned.

" Of course, I'm ready to give you anything, absolutely anything. Just tell me what it is and I'll... "

" I need your firstborn male child " The voice cut him off. Sebastian frowned his brows in confusion.

" But... I'm...not...even... married yet " He stammered, trying not to anger the voice.

" But you eventually will, won't you? You have this lady... Kelsey, who you are madly in love with and planning to marry soon, which was why you wanted this money in the first place " Sebastian's lips parted in more shock at the revelation.

" How did he know that? " He thought to himself, but thinking about it made him more convinced that he indeed came to the right source.

" Stop wondering how I knew and give me an answer! " The voice snapped him out.

" Of course, I'm ready to give you anything, even if it is my firstborn child. I don't care. All I want right now is money. I want so much money that I'll be on the list of the richest men in history. I want so much money that people will bow down at my feet and worship me, I want them to tremble at the mention of my name, I want my wealth and power to terrify them ..."

" Leave...now! " The voice cut him off.

" Huh? "

" Leave and your wish will be granted " The voice thundered, making the whole cave vibrate yet again. Fear engulfed Sebastian.

"Is...that...a...

" Leave... now! " The voice roared in anger and Sebastian took on his heels. He ran out of the cave, all the way to where he parked his car without looking back, his heart skipping and beating in terror.

Finally getting to where his car was, he banged on the window repeatedly, panting heavily. The window winced down, revealing another guy.

" Open the fucking door! " He snapped and immediately the door opened, he dived inside and slammed it close. Seeing he was safe, he exhaled deeply, resting his head fully on the chair. There was yet another guy in the front seat who stared at him in surprise.

" So how was your journey? "The guy who opened the door for him asked in anticipation, but Sebastian didn't even spare him a glance. They both turned out to be his friends, one named Kyle and the other Charlie.

" Come on, tell us " Charlie demanded, and Sebastian finally opened his eyes.

" Let's leave... now " was the only reply he gave.

" I found an Aladdin's very special lamp. When I rubbed it...a genie appeared and asked me 'Tell me your wish master and I will..."

" Hey, why did you turn off the music? " Kyle, who was driving, snapped at Charlie.

" Aren't you being insensitive right now? Sebastian just had a horrific encounter with a genie and here you are listening to a song about it? " Charlie snapped at Kyle.

" Oh please, what should I do then...cry? " Kyle rolled his eyes.

" He already said the genie accepted to grant his wish and asked for his firstborn male child in return. If the deal is done, then what? "

" It's not as if you want me to believe all the nonsense he just told us anyway " He added with a hiss.

" What is wrong with you dude?! Genie's do exist just like every other mythical creature " Charlie glared at him.

" Fine then... let's just say the so-called genies do exist. What do they do for humans? " Kyle demanded.

" They are supposed to help people but ..they end up demanding for those they help to worship them and do whatever they want " Charlie explained.

" Oh, let's just say... they are some kind of spiritual NGO, right? " Kyle teased with a hiss.

" This is fucking serious dude, wake up! " Charlie groaned.

" Ok, ok. What then happens if you don't give them what they want from you? "

" They come to collect it themselves " Kyle burst out, laughing making Sebastian who has been quiet all this while, and Charlie glare at him.

" Come on. Don't give me that look. You don't blame me, do you? It's just as if you're telling bedtime stories to kids " Kyle shrugged.

" Listen, guys, let's be realistic here. Genie's or whatever you call them don't...

Kyle's eyes widened in horror almost immediately and he pulled a long brake. A screeching sound can be heard as the car spin around in circles. Sebastian and Charlie almost flew out of the car when it finally stopped spinning, if not for their seatbelts.

" Dude, what the heck is wrong with you? " Charlie yelled at Kyle, who started shaking while staring ahead. His hands were trembling on the steering wheel.

" L...o...o...k " He managed to speak, pointing ahead with a shaking finger. Following the direction of his finger, Charlie and Sebastian's eyes too widened in great horror.

Standing not too far from them was an extremely huge figure, more like a giant putting on a garment that covered its whole body with only its extremely huge feet, hands, and sharp jawline showing.

Dark smoke was revolving around it and it soon covered the environment. Even the clouds too darkened and it started raining heavily all of a sudden. The figure turned out to be a man.

He only took a step forward and that got the ground cracking and trembling. He started approaching the car and that was when the three friends snapped out of their shock.

" Dude, drive! " Charlie and Sebastian yelled at Kyle, who immediately tried reversing. But to their greatest horror... the car wasn't moving.

" What are you doing Kyle, get us out of here! " Charlie bellowed angrily at him.

" The car is not moving! " He yelled back in frustration.

" Let's get out of this car," Sebastian said seeing the car was still not moving. They gripped the door, trying to open it, but it was stuck. Terror engulfed the three of them and they started shaking even more as the giant approached closer. And to worsen the matter, lightning was striking down everything around them.

The giant stopped on getting to their car and, compared to his feet, the car could only measure up to one of his toes. He bent over and peeped at them through the window. Seeing the extraordinary big eye glaring at them, they all flinched back in fear, their heart almost popping out of their chest.

" Please don't kill me! I'm sorry I doubted you. I should have known you did exist. Please spare me, I don't want to die, please! " Kyle pleaded as tears rolled down freely on his cheeks. He had already peed in his pants, trembling without control.

" Please don't kill us, we all want to live. We'll do anything you want, please! " Charlie yelled out in tears. Sebastian was even crying too.

The giant just opened the back seat and took Sebastian with a finger, flinging him away into the bushes which were already on fire due to too much lighting. Sebastian landed with a great thud on the ground and passed out.

Using only but two of his fingers, the giant squashed the windows of the car, which shattered to pieces, pinning Charlie and Kyle to death. He took the car and squashed it to pieces with only one hand. Blood can be seen squishing on the windows of the car as the giant threw away the car which landed right beside Sebastian who was still unconscious, blood rolling down his forehead. Before you knew it...the car exploded...

❄️ CHAPTER 02 ❄️

YEARS LATER

In a club, a crowd of men can be seen all seated and eyes shining in expectation as they stare at the stage before them. Soon, the music turned on as a middle-aged woman walked up to the stage and took the microphone.

" Are you all eager and ready to see our best of the best perform before you tonight?! " She exclaimed loudly as the men threw bundles of money on the stage.

" Are you ready for the one and only queen herself to make an entrance?! " All the men cheered loudly, some throwing roses on the stage while others threw panties.

Almost immediately, the red curtains spread open as a lady stepped out. She slowly pulled off the red robe she was putting on which dropped to the ground of the stage, revealing her red lingerie panties as she turned her back on the audience.

Just then, a stripping pole rose from the stage. She finally turned to face the audience as the spotlight shone on her and her face came into view. One could see her red hair which was tied in a ponytail and she was putting on a red bra with a transparent net on it that didn't cover her b**bs fully. Her big and round brown eyes, small pointy nose, and pouting red lips made her look extremely cute but also... sexy and hot.

All the men stood up, cheering loudly at her, their eyes roaming up and down her body with lust, ecstasy, and eagerness.

Holding the pole, she raised her legs to her face before curling herself around the pole as the audience clapped loudly. With the rhythm of the music, she began dancing and twirling.

" Holy fuck! She is hot! "

" Go, girl! "

Men cheered with excitement as she twirled none stopped for almost five minutes. The tempo of the music increased and so did her twirls. The volume of the cheers increased as she did a split on the stage, her ponytail dangling dangerously as the applause increased.

" Oh my God, Phoenix! You did a great job today. Can you believe we got ten times our normal customers today! " The middle-aged woman squeaked in excitement, waving money before the lady who already covered herself up. She was now putting on a hoodie and sweatpants. She ignored the woman, cleaning her makeup.

" Aren't you happy, Phoenix? We made extra money today " The woman asked.

" Please Mom, not today " Phoenix hissed with an eye roll. The woman glared at her.

" What's with the attitude, young lady, who do you think you are? " She demanded.

" It's not like that Mom, I'm just tired " Phoenix sighed.

" You should get used to it already and not get tired over just a little dance. You've been doing this for years and you're fucking 25 now! " The woman hissed, walking over to the bed. Phoenix only sighed sadly, rolling her eyes.

" Maybe I wouldn't get so tired easily if I enjoyed the work," She said.

" Is this about your stupid dreams again? " The woman eyed her.

" I've already told you to forget about it. Stripping is your job and you'll keep doing it till you retire. The sooner you accept this, the better for you "

" The sooner you put faith in me and support my dream, the better for you too, Mom " Phoenix replied.

" Hey, don't you talk to your mother like that, young lady! " The woman snapped. Phoenix grabbed her phone and walked up to the woman.

" Just forget about it Mom. I have to go now, OK? "

" Bye and take care " She placed a peck on her cheeks.

" Better be back early you little mouse or you'll hear it from me " The woman warned her.

" Not a guarantee Mom " With that, Phoenix left.

A tea table with a teacup and tea jug on it can be seen wheeling on its own into a room. The jug was pouring some tea into the cup. Cubes of sugar which were also on the table were diving into the tea like they were alive.

A figure can be seen, that of a guy, standing before a wardrobe which opened by itself. A blacktop and jacket flew out of the wardrobe and they put themselves on the guy. A pair of sneakers and a brush came out of the closet too. The guy puts on the shoe as the brush polishes it on its own.

On another table were slices of bread on a plate and a jar of peanuts, a spoon, fork, and knife. The jar opened and the knife took a desirable amount of butter and smoothed the bread before another slice covered it up.

Just when every nonliving thing was doing their jobs on their own, the door of the room barged opened and they all dropped. Standing before the door was a teenage girl whose hands were folded around her chest as she eyed the guy.

" Seriously, Axion? " She scoffed and that was when the guy turned and his face came into view. One could see his defined jawline, slightly big pointy nose, nice oval violet-colored eyes, and slightly plump pink lips which matched with his curly blonde hair.

The girl walked in, staring at him with raised eyebrows. She held his ear and pulled it, making Axion bend since he was taller.

" How many times will Grandma warn you to stop using your magic to get every single thing done, huh? " She demanded in a stern voice. Axion looked at her and pouted a bit.

" I can't help it " He answered.

"You're becoming lazy, you know " The girl let go of his ear.

" Where are you preparing to go this morning? " She asked and Axion turned, facing the mirror while adjusting his jacket.

" You don't have to know. Why are you here anyway? " He questioned back.

" Grandma won't stop bothering me about how long it has been since you visited Mom. You know her condition is getting worse " The girl replied and Axion turned to face her again.

" Go back and tell her I'll drop by today when I'm done in the office " He gave a reply.

" What are you going to do in the office today anyway? I thought today was Sunday " The girl asked.

" Don't worry Tamara, I'll drop by later. Just go home " Axion replied.

Tamara only eyed him suspiciously as she stepped closer.

" Tell me the truth brother, are you secretly meeting your girlfriend? " Axion glared at him sharply.

" Tamara ... " He groaned, making her burst out laughing.

" Don't worry brother, I won't tell on you. Your secret is safe with me " She teased, heading to the door.

" I ...

" Bye," She waved and left even before Axion could say anything further.

Driving into the parking lot of a mall, Axion parked his car. He was still about to unbuckle his seatbelt when he felt something bump into the back of his car. He hurriedly unbuckled and stepped out, heading to the back of his car.

It turned out another car bumped into it, making the backlight and number plate break. He glared at the car and folded his arms, waiting for the owner to step out. The door opened and a leg stepped out. Looking at the leg, one could detect it was a lady.

It turned out to be none other than Phoenix who was putting on a headset. Looking up at Axion, who was glaring at her, she frowned her brows. Walking up to him, she pulled down her headset.

" Are you blind, dumb, or stupid, Mister? " She glared at Axion, who frowned deeply at her.

" Excuse me? " He muttered.

" Don't you know how to park your car well or have you never gone to a driving school? " An obvious angry scoff left Axion's lips and he stepped closer with a stern look.

" Shouldn't I be the one asking you that? Can't you see you bumped into my car? " He demanded, making Phoenix hiss.

" If you hadn't parked your car like your father owned this mall, I wouldn't have bumped into it in the first place. Besides, I'm sure it's just a minor scratch, so stop acting like I destroyed your car " She hissed with an eye roll.

Scoffing angrily, Axion stepped away from his car for her to see the damage she caused. Phoenix's eyes widened a bit just then.

" A... minor scratch? " Axion raised a brow at her making her swallow hard nervously. Not knowing what to do,

" You have only two options, Phoenix. First, run, and second...run for your life! " Her sub-conscience yelled at her and immediately she took up her heels...

❄️ CHAPTER 03 ❄️

Nodding negatively, Axion took out his phone and dialed a number.

" Hello Steven, come pick my car up at the mall now " He instructed.

" Ok Sir " The person replied and he ended the call before entering the mall.

On the other hand, Phoenix was hiding behind a car not so far from Axion's car, waiting for him to get inside. Seeing as he had already entered, she heaved out a sigh of relief.

" You almost got yourself into trouble because of this running mouth of yours. Learn to keep shut sometimes " She cautioned her mouth. Adjusting her hoodie, she went inside the mall.

On entering, she started looking around to see if she would see Axion so she could hide, but to her relief, she didn't see him.

" Thank goodness. I pray I never cross his part again. I don't have any money to pay for any car repairs " She muttered.

Forgetting about her encounter with Axion, Phoenix focused on what she had to buy. And just when she was getting into her shopping on the way, she felt someone run past behind her at lightning speed making her turn swiftly. But she was surprised to see no one.

" What was that? " She thought, looking around. Shrugging off the thought, she turned back and continued with her shopping.

This time around, her heart skipped suddenly as she felt a weird wind on her making goosebumps fill her body. She quickly dropped what she was holding as her heart skipped again. Placing her hand on her chest,

" Why am I suddenly having a bad feeling? Is something bad going to happen? " She mumbled, confused. After some time, her racing heart stopped. She decided to ignore the weird feeling and was about to move to the next section with her cart when she felt the same person run past her with speed.

" No Phoenix, something terrible is going to happen "

Axion, who was busy shopping too suddenly felt a figure standing behind him making him turn, but he didn't see anyone. Frowning his brows, he turned back, continuing with what he was buying. Yet again, he felt the same figure standing behind him, but this time around, it placed its hand on his shoulder, making him freeze on the spot.

" I'm here to take what's mine " He heard a voice whisper to him before he felt the figure behind him leave.

"Are you okay, mister? " A voice asked, snapping him out. He turned and saw a little girl staring at him blankly.

" I'm okay " He forced a smile on his lips. The little girl smiled back at him.

" You're very handsome, Mister " She complimented. Axion squatted at her level, smiling broadly at her.

" What's your name? " He asked.

" Jessica " The girl answered with a giggle.

" Who did you come with to the mall? " Axion questioned again.

" My Mom. She's over there " The girl replied, pointing at a lady standing not so far from them. Looking at the lady, Axion frowned his brows deeply as the lady turned, glaring at him. A broad and evil smirk crept up the lady's lips. Sticking out her tongue, she used her thumb to symbolize an " I'll kill you" on her neck as blood rolled down.

Axion sprang up immediately and stepped away from the girl, who too was now smirking evilly at him.

" I'll take what's mine " The girl muttered with an evil chuckle as her head suddenly twisted to one side, making Axion step back the more in shock, his heart throbbing fast. The lady and the girl vanished, but surprisingly, only Axion saw them.

Closing his eyes and snapping them back open, his eyes turned dim purple. Looking over to the wall, his eyes widened a bit on seeing a huge handprint on the wall with writing on the hand.

" I'm here to take what's mine "

" He's here " He mumbled.

" Listen to me Sir, I have a strong feeling something terrible is going to happen here, please believe me," Phoenix said for the umpteenth time to a security guard who rolled his eyes. She had been trying to convince the security guard that everyone in the mall was in danger but he wasn't convinced at all.

" Listen to me, Miss, I think you're maybe sick. That explains why you're feeling bad or rather not too okay. It's best if you go home and get some rest, then you'll feel better " He answered.

" I'm not sick Mister! " Phoenix groaned in frustration.

" I'm sure that something bad is going to happen. I..." Phoenix couldn't finish her sentence when her eyes landed on the huge handprint on the wall. It widened in horror immediately.

" Do you see that huge handprint on the wall? Can you see it? " She asked the guard as she pointed at the wall. The security looked at the wall before glaring at Phoenix like she had gone nuts.

" What hand? " He asked.

" Can't you see the handprint on the wall? " Phoenix asked, shocked at the fact the security guard couldn't see anything.

" Enough, ma'am! I will be forced to throw you out if you keep bothering me. I'm sorry " The guard hissed angrily.

" But ...

"Attention everyone. Due to some misfortune, the building you all are in is about to collapse. In order not to lose lives, everyone and I repeat, everyone should evacuate the building immediately..."

Immediately Axion dropped the announcement from where the handprint was on, the wall started cracking, making everyone gasp in horror. Before they knew it, the crack circulated the whole building.

Everyone started running helter-skelter, causing a stampede as they all tried to save their lives. Seeing that everyone was panicking, Phoenix ran towards the control room, as Axion and everyone inside the control room ran out. Getting to the room, she grabbed the microphone,

" Everyone calm down! " She yelled, making everyone in the mall pull a brake on their legs.

" Everyone form a straight line. Starting from the children to the teenagers to the adults. After that, everyone should leave the building through the main door calmly and in an organized manner. Now! " She commanded and everyone complied.

Axion and the security guards helped everyone evacuate the mall according to Phoenix's instructions.

Seeing as everyone had already left with only Axion and the security guard remaining, Phoenix heaved a sigh of relief. She was about to leave the control room when the ground too started vibrating and cracking open.

"Holly molly! " She exclaimed and ran out. The walls started falling off and so were the ceilings. Every product in the mall was now falling off their shelves, the glass ones breaking to pieces. Phoenix dodged the falling ceilings as she ran off to the exit.

But she pulled a brake on her legs when she felt goosebumps fill her whole body again.

" Help! Somebody help me, please! " She heard a voice cry out.

" Someone is in danger " She quickly diverted to where the voice was coming from. She stopped on getting to the restroom.

" Somebody help me, please! " The voice cried out from inside the female restroom.

" Hold on, I'll open the door from outside. You'll be fine OK? " Phoenix assured her and started kicking the door to break it open, but it was locked tight. Stepping a good distance away from the door, she ran towards it at full speed, and just when she was about to push the door open, it opened by itself and she fell in, crashing to the floor.

" Arghhh! " Phoenix groaned in pain.

" Thank you for saving me, Miss, " A tiny voice said, making Phoenix look over at the door and she was surprised to see a little girl standing by it. It turned out to be the same girl Axion met earlier.

" Bye " The girl added before slamming the door close, making Phoenix flinch back in fear.

" Hey! " She exclaimed and sprang up from the floor, rushing to the door. She grabbed the handle and made to twist it open but she was shocked to see it was locked.

" Hey, get me out of here! " She yelled out, banging on the door. The little girl only let out a burst of evil loud laughter which echoed as she vanished.

" Someone help me! Open this damn door! " Phoenix yelled out in frustration, banging on the door nonstop.

She eventually stopped calling out for help when she grew tired of yelling.

" But...who is that little girl and how was she able to bang the door this tight? " She asked no one in particular.

" What am I going to do? This building is about to collapse soon, somebody help me out of here! " She groaned angrily, kicking the door with all her might, but it still didn't open.

Instead of the door opening, part of the restroom ceiling fell off, blocking the door.

" What the ... " Phoenix's eyes widened in horror.

" Somebody help!! " She yelled at on top of her voice.

" Can anyone hear me?! "

Tears already wailed up her eyes as she ran her hand through her hair in frustration.

" Calm down Phoenix, don't cry. Think of a way to escape this place. " She tried calming herself down. Pacing to and fro the restroom,

" Think Phoenix, think! " She snapped at herself. She looked up and her eyes landed on the window which was close to the ceiling. Hope flashed through her eyes as happiness ran through her.

She quickly climbed on the tiled skin and tried reaching out to the window, but it was too high. An idea hit her head just then and she climbed down.

Using some of the bricks which blocked the door, she placed them on the sink and before you knew it, she had already created some stairs which could boost her closer to the window. Climbing the stairs carefully since it was shaky, she finally got to the top. Reaching out, she was more than happy when her hands finally reached the window.

" Yes! " She exclaimed in happiness and just then, the restroom's door barged open, making her turn swiftly. Her left leg ended up slipping and she fell off...
