"Sherry, buy me a box of condoms and send them over to Room 2605 in the clubhouse. Hurry up!"

It was Anne Xia's birthday today and as soon as Sherry Lin came out of the club, she received a call from the birthday girl.

"Anne, what... are you talking about?" Sherry stopped dead in her tracks with a confused look on her face.

"Are you deaf? Condoms! I said condoms!"

"Anne, I..."

Before Sherry could finish her sentence, the phone had been hung up.

She shook her head helplessly. As soon as she looked up, she found a pharmacy on the other side of the road.

Even when they were just kids, Anne would order her around all the time.

This time it was no different as Sherry had no choice but to obey Anne's orders.

"Rat-a-tat!" Upon arriving at the door of Room 2605, Sherry raised her hand and knocked gently. "Anne, it's me. I brought the..."

Before Sherry could even finish speaking, all of a sudden, someone opened the door and yanked her inside.

It happened so quickly that she didn't even know how to react.

The room was completely dark and she heard the door slam shut behind her as a tall man pressed his body against hers, trapping her with both arms on each her side. The next second, her lips were sealed.

"Hmmm!" shouted Sherry in shock, as she struggled to break free. "Let... go of... me! hmmm... Bastard!"

Sherry's eyes were wide open but she couldn't make anything out in the dark room. As she tried to wiggle out of his grasp, the man stood straight and threw her over his shoulder in a fireman's carry.

"Bastard, let me go! Let me go! ......

Ouch!"

Despite her screaming and shouting, the man threw her onto the big bed and covered her mouth with his.

Sherry had no idea when she had fallen asleep, but the next time she opened her eyes, she was lying underneath a sleeping man.

Shocked, she pushed the man away immediately and rolled out of bed.

As she scrambled to look for her clothes, she found them all torn and scattered all over the floor. She looked up at the man, who was still asleep, before she grabbed a bathrobe from the bed and ran to the door as quickly as she could.

"Sherry? "

Just as she opened the door and ran out, Anne walked out from the next room, dressed in the same bathrobe. Taken by surprise at first, Anne squinted her eyes in anger as she watched Sherry run away.

'What's that bitch up to now? I asked her to get me some condoms, but she didn't show up.

Turns out she was busy having fun with a man.

She's always acting like a coward at home, but now I see that it's all a facade.

I didn't expect she would be brave enough to use my birthday as an excuse to mess around outside, ' she thought inwardly.

After a while, Anne wondered curiously who Sherry had slept with last night.

So, she closed the door behind her and walked to the next room with gritted teeth.

Meanwhile, the effects of the drugs had worn off, but the dosage must have been quite high because he was struggling to open his eyes.

Suddenly, the lights came back on as he heard a flick of switch followed by the sound of footsteps approaching him.

When he finally raised his head and opened his eyes to Anne, he stretched out his arms to pull her into the bed.

However, as she turned around angrily to give the man a piece of her mind, her eyes widened in shock and disbelief.

"Are you the woman I slept with last night?"

The man spoke in a deep voice, squinting his drowsy eyes at Anne, who had hickeys all over and only a bathrobe to cover her body.

"You! You are Kaiser Huangpu!" Anne's mouth was agape, as though she had lost her words, but she quickly replied, "Yes, I'm the one!"

Kaiser Huangpu was the heir of two of the most wealthy and powerful families with immeasurable assets all over the country.

Anne clearly didn't expect that Sherry could be this lucky to sleep with the most eligible bachelor of the city!

"Do I know you?" asked Kaiser, glancing at Anne in confusion.

"Yes... Yes of course!" Anne caught on to what he was saying and smiled softly. "My name is Anne Xia. My father is Benson Xia, the Chairman of the Xia Group. I attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the HP Group with my father. I met you there."

Glancing at Anne with furrowed eyebrows, Kaiser frowned as he jumped out of bed, picking the clothes up from the floor and quickly put them on.

As soon as Kaiser got out of the bed, Anne noticed a red stain on the white bed sheet.

She knew exactly what it was and she immediately looked up at the tall and handsome man whose body looked like it was carved out of stone.

After mustering up some courage, she muttered, "Sir, last night was my first time. You... Are you going to leave me like this?"

"Just say it." While he buttoned up his shirt, Kaiser turned to look at Anne and then the red stain on the bed as he continued, "How would you like me to make it up to you?"

"You mean? Anything I want?" Only God knew how excited Anne was at this moment.

"Why don't you think it over and then come see me at the HP Group?"

Kaiser walked out of the door without even looking back as soon as he said that.

Screeching-

Just as Kaiser's driver was speeding out of the parking lot, a figure in white appeared in front of their car, suddenly and seemingly out of nowhere, and he slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to a shuddering stop.

"What happened?" Kaiser's low voice came through gritted teeth as he steadied himself in the back seat.

"Bo... Boss, I think I've hit someone. I swear I was looking straight at the road and someone jumped right in front of the car," the driver nervously blurted out as his voice trembled in shock.

"What are you waiting for? Just get out and check!" Kaiser gritted his teeth in anger as he closed his eyes and leaned back in his seat.

"Yes, sir!" The driver unbuckled his seat belt and sprang out of the car.

As it turned out he did hit someone. Lying unconscious in front of the car was a woman dressed in nothing but a bathrobe and disheveled hair covered almost half of her face.

The woman was no other than Sherry.

"Bo... Boss, there's a woman lying unconscious and she's bleeding."

The driver immediately ran back to report to Kaiser as he didn't dare to touch the woman while she was unconscious.

"What are you waiting for? Bring her inside and take her to the nearest hospital right now!" Kaiser's deep voice rose in temper.

"Yes, sir!" The nervous driver nodded and then quickly ran back to Sherry. He carried her as gently as he could and put her on the back seat next to Kaiser.

The moment Sherry was carried into the car, the scent emitting from her body caught Kaiser's attention. Frowning, he opened his eyes and cast Sherry a sideways glance.

Sherry was bleeding from her forehead. The crimson blood that flowed from her gash, streamed down her bright skin and yet she looked enchanting under the dim interior light in the back seat.

The loosely fastened bathrobe revealed obvious love bites on her body which made Kaiser frown further.

The driver started the car and drove to the hospital as quickly as he could.

As they passed a speed bump on the way, the car jolted Sherry back to consciousness.

Slowly fluttering her eyes open, when looked up and locked sights with Kaiser's deep-set eyes, she jumped up from her seat in surprise. She whipped her head around in shock and then nervously started jerking the car handle as she screamed, "Let... Let me out!"

Kaiser stared at Sherry with furrowed eyebrows, but he didn't utter a word. Then, he closed his eyes again and leaned his back against the seat.

"Miss, I was just driving out of the parking lot when you came out of nowhere. It was an accident and I hit the brakes as quickly as I could. Please, sit back and don't worry. We're taking you to the hospital." The driver waited for Kaiser's response, glancing at him curiously from the rearview mirror. When Kaiser didn't say anything, the words rushed out of the driver's mouth as he nervously explained what had happened.

"No... It's fine! Just stop the car and let me get out! Please!" Sherry's voice rose in pitch, as she sounded exasperated.

For some reason, more than her injury, it was the aura of the man sitting next to her that was making her feel uncomfortable. Just like how the man in that room had made her feel moments ago.

"Miss, please try to relax. We're almost at the hospital." The driver sped up and rushed through the traffic.

Fortunately, the nearest hospital was only ten minutes away and before long they reached the hospital.

As soon as the car stopped in front of the emergency building, Sherry pushed the door open and got off the car as fast as she could.

"Ah!"

However, the moment she set foot on the ground, her knees gave up all of a sudden and she fell to the ground.

It felt like her head was inside a blender!

Sherry lay on the floor, feeling too dizzy to sit straight let alone stand up.

While she was struggling to get up, the man in the car reached out to pick her up from the floor and carry her in his arms.

"I'm fine. Put me... down!"

"Shut up!"

This time, however, the man didn't hesitate to use his cold voice to interrupt her.

She raised her head and looked at his exquisitely sculpted face and suddenly the words of her mouth had disappeared.

The driver rushed in to register at the desk when he saw Kaiser walking towards emergency department with Sherry in his arms.

It was almost midnight, but luckily it wasn't such a busy night in the emergency department, so Kaiser was able to bring her straight to one of the doctor's offices.

When the doctor saw a man walk in with a woman in his arm, whose face was half covered in blood, he quickly called in for some help and rushed to treat her wounds.

"Did you watch the news? Apparently, there was a raid at the Seven Nights Club and a lot of the prostitutes got caught when they were trying to escape. Some of them weren't even fully clothed when they started escaping."

"Serves them right! I hope those shameless whores get locked up for at least ten years, so that by the time they get released, they'll be so old and ugly that no one would want them. They deserve that for ruining countless people's families."

Kaiser overheard two nurses conversing as they were passing by the doctor's door.

As he stared at Sherry's furrowed eyebrows and tightly shut eyes, Kaiser drew his lips back into a sneer of revulsion.

With one look at the love bites on her body and her bathrobe, he guessed that she must have been one of the prostitutes who had escaped from the club.

"Boss, I have got her registered."

Just then, the driver came in and reported. He stood there waiting for a response as Kaiser took out the checkbook from his pocket, grabbed the pen from the doctor's desk and quickly scribbled some numbers on the check. After he signed his name, he threw it at Sherry who was still lying on the examination bed.

"One million should be more than enough to cover the bills." Kaiser turned around and walked away as soon as he said that.

"Hey!" Sherry picked up the check and waved it at Kaiser angrily. "I don't want your money! Take it back!"

However, the man did not look back as he quickly walked out of the room and disappeared.

Early in the morning, Sherry called and asked her best friend to send her some clothes.

After she got properly dressed, Sherry went straight home without wasting another moment.

"Sherry, where did you go last night? Why didn't you answer my phone? Are you trying to give me a heart attack?"

"Mom, I'm sorry. I lost my phone by accident. I..."

"Madisyn, Sherry and I went to the club last night to celebrate my birthday. I let her sleep in my room at the club after she had a lot to drink."

Before Sherry could even say anything, Anne cut in and explained.

Both Sherry and her mother, Madisyn Su, turned towards Anne and looked at her with surprise.

"Oh, I see, that was very considerate of you Anne." Madisyn's facial expression softened as she looked at Anne with love now instead of anger.

However, when she looked at Sherry her face contorted in anger again and she said, "Sherry, say thanks to your sister."

Looking at Anne, Sherry didn't understand why her sister had suddenly changed today and defended her, but she still listened to her mom and said, "Thank you, Anna."

It was truly a rare occurrence as Anne smiled back at Sherry and said, "Sherry, I'm giving away some of my old clothes that don't fit me anymore. Come and see if you can find something you like."

"Anna, no..."

"What are you waiting for? Follow your sister."

Before Sherry could refuse, Madisyn pinched her on the arm and nudged her forward.

Sherry clucked her tongue in disapproval and then scuttled up the stairs reluctantly behind Anne.

Sherry became a burden to her mother since she was only six years old. It was the year her father had divorced her mother and she was never the same after her father left them.

After her mother remarried, Sherry was lucky enough that the Xia Family took her in, provided her with a roof over her head and helped her go to college.

Perhaps, that was the reason why her mother was always trying to please Anne, her stepdaughter, while she always gave Sherry the cold shoulder.

"You were supposed to bring condoms to my room last night! What happened? Where were you?"

Anne shut the door as soon as Sherry entered the room. Then, she crossed her arms over her chest and looked at Sherry angrily.

Now, all Anne had to figure out was whether or not Sherry knew that the man she had slept with last night was Kaiser.

If she didn't, then everything would be easier for Anne.

However, if Sherry knew, then Anne would...

"I..." Sherry lowered her eyes to the ground as she didn't dare to look Anne directly and stammered, "I did buy them, but... I got hit by a car while I was crossing the road... And the next time I remember, I was in the hospital."

"Hit by a car? Really?" Anne squinted her eyes at her suspiciously.

"Yes! Look!" Sherry raised her hand to lift her bangs, revealing the scar on her forehead. "Look at this! I also scraped my knees when I fell to the ground." As she was speaking, she lifted up her trousers.

Anne scratched her head in confusion, wondering, 'Did she get hit by a car after I saw her at the club?'

"Did anything else happen?"

"No." Sherry shook her head firmly.

"Really? " Anne grabbed her by the collar of her sweater and yanked her closer. "So, you weren't with a man last night?"

"No!" Sherry looked at Anne with a startled expression on her face, shaking her head as she said, "Anna, please believe me!"

"Okay, I believe you." Judging by the look on Sherry's face, Anne realized that Sherry really had no idea who she had slept with last night. "But if I find out that you were up to no good on my birthday, you're going to be in a lot of trouble."

Sherry nodded her head repeatedly.

If anyone found out that she had slept with a man out of wedlock, it would tarnish the reputation of the Xia Family and consequently spell disaster for both her and her mother.

"And..."

Anne added, smirking viciously at Sherry.

"What else?" Sherry asked uneasily.

"If you dare tell anyone that I asked you to buy condoms for me, I'll make sure that you and your mother don't get to spend another day in NH City! Do you understand me?"
