Surprised Love

"Good Morning Teacher." The students in the class greeted their class teacher who entered the noisy classroom. Seeing the angry look of the teacher and not replying over their greetings, she stared at all with cold eyes. The students had a confused look on their faces and wondering what they did wrong to deserve such a scary look. The teacher cleared her throat and began speaking ''Dear students, I currently have a meeting with the dean of the school along with the other teachers, I am cancelling the viva for today." Students grinned their teeth with a sly smile.

Friezzie was the only one in class who looked awful because she knew that she prepared really hard to score the highest in the viva and continue to be the topper. With the announcement, the teacher added "I do not want to hear anyone screaming on the top of their voices and I don't want to hear any noises coming from this room. I hope for the next 50 minutes, you will maintain silence. I will come back and take your attendance for this class. I don't want to see anyone roaming in the corridors. So, just stay inside this classroom." Giving a last glance from the right to the left, she left the class. All sat down with their besties.

　　Friezzie decided to narrate a story to her three girlfriends, Jannis, Taylor and Abby. She was a good story teller and her friends supported her well. It was then that a group of mischievous classmates started looking at the four girls. The glare from the right back corner distracted friezzie. It was Patrick. Seeing the sight of Friezzie, all looked towards the same direction as hers.

　　Taylor patted Friezzie's hands and said ''I heard Patrick has a crush on you but he is afraid that you will beat him black and blue." Friezzie gave a mischievous smile and said "You know me so well girl. I hate love and crush stuff. Whoever tries to crush on me, you see I need to make them hate it like a reverse gear if you know what I mean." Jannis gave a sigh and faked a yawn. She finally spoke, "Love is so sweet. Have you not seen Titanic or the Cinderella story. I hope someone crushes on me too. Where is my Prince Charming."

　　Abby who was all silent finally spoke, "Leave all these for now. Please narrate a story. Which novel did you read recently?"

　　It was then that Patrick walked up to her and said "Abby, do you mind if I sit next to Friezzie? I have been given a dare to sit next to her and say that I like her." Friezzie froze and gave an angry look to his friends who were smiling at her with innocent eyes.

　　Looking back at him, she said coldly "Speak and off you go. I will ignore you like dust. I heard you have a crush on me. It better not be true."

　　Abby stood up leaving the sit for him, Patrick sat next to her with nervous eyes, clenched his fist and said "I like you". He rushed towards his friends like fast wind and seemed like the Superhero Flash for an instance. Her face was red both out of anger and shyness.

　　Jannie smiled with all her teeth out and started clapping. Abby gave her a disappointing look considering the mental state that Friezzie was right now. Taylor added "I hope my crush comes over and proposes me now." Hearing this, all the four girls started giggling. Friezzie with a cheerful smile spoke ''Do you know what is a crush?"

　　All the other three girls got confused with her question. She smiled even more brightly and said ''You know when you have a new dress, you instantly fall in love with it and started liking it so much that you are excited to wear it right away. Similarly, a crush is like a dress. When it is old, you throw it away in your old closet. So, basically crush is temporary. So, don't long for it. "

　　"Ahem" Jannis gestured her hand towards Friezzie's heart "Did you mean you fell in love with someone and not crushing on anyone. Is he the one you plan to marry? Is that what love is?"

　　Taylor got excited and Abby spoke "I am your best friend. I know you chase boys away who pester you. You didn't tell me how did you fall in love?" Seeing their excitement, Friezzie added coldly "Girls, who said am in love. How can 'Friezzie' fall in love. No boy exists in this world who can make me fall in love with him. What I mean is, there is no such thing as love."

　　Abby said "I want to marry someone I love and I know love exists. You don't believe it's okay but don't demotivate us please. I already planned my honeymoon destination."

　　"Hahaha." They burst out laughing with tears in their eyes. Abby started hitting all the three girls. Friezzie gave a signed of relief and took a deep breath, and finally spoke ''Buy yourself a pet dog, you will fall in love. You can travel wherever you want with the dog."

　　Taylor gave a disgusted look to the girl who just compared a lover with a dog. Ignoring her look, she added "Girls, don't live in illusion. There is no such thing as love. If at all you are with some guy, you will not study and wait for his texts or calls like all the time. You will be roaming hand in hand embarrassing the teachers in the campus. Not to mention the names like "Kuchi-ku" is ew. I feel like vomitting when I hear such in my school bus. You fight and stare at each other and the infamous dialog 'I will marry you when I grow up' but the truth is when you leave school, you will lose contact. So please, stop being gross and earn lots of money after you finish studying instead of honeymoon planning."

　　Taylor told her to calm down her nerves if anger as she spoke. Jannis started singing a romantic song to taunt her. A line in the song she repeated "I can't breathe without you." Friezzie laughed loudly and said "How can you not breathe without a person, the respiratory system is not connected to another human right." Abby laughed hearing this, "Hahaha. Jannie stop singing such a stupid song. It makes no sense." All the four started laughing and Friezzie told all the three girls proudly "You see, love is a funny thing."

"Hello students! I am sure you all had lots of fun without a teacher in the class." 'Surely I did' Patrick said to himself feeling satisfied and glanced at Friezzie. Friezzie looked towards the direction of the glare and showed a clenched fist towards him. Out of fear Patrick looked back again at the teacher. The teacher stood up from her chair after marking the attendance and came towards Jannis. "Jannis will be the one to decide the theme for the farewell for the class.

Since each section will be choosing a different theme to represent during the farewell next week, make sure it is interesting. Before you leave the school, you should have one last good memory before you go". Hearing the teacher say this, all the students' face became gloomy and sad. The powerful girl, Friezzie looked at her friends and her eyes turned teary. Abby pushed gently with her elbow, "Don't cry yet. Save it for the farewell day."

　　The teacher continued, "I saw you all when you were only a kindergarten student and now you all will be college students soon. From those five year olds, now you ended up being eighteen year olds." She takes a deep breath and says "Time flies. I will miss you all. Be in touch. Hope you all will meet me one day again as adults." She finally thanked the class with a dull face and left the class.

　　The whole class became silent for a while. They have just one week left in school. In one way, they are excited about the farewell party but just to realise that it would be their last celebration as school students. The school bell rang. All started chatting again, picked up their bags and started walking towards the school buses.

　　Taylor asked "Hey girls, stop feeling sad. We will still be in touch. Even though we are going to different cities, we can still see each other through video chats." "Yeah, you are right but you know we studied in this place for like 11 years, we are finally growing up and leaving our second home." Jannis added. Abby listened silently and wiped her teary eyes and spoke joyfully, "We still have a week. Let's make the best of the last week. Lets go shopping and get our dresses at least. We need to look cute on our farewell right unless someone wants to fail in their exams to stay a year more in this school."

　　"Friezzie cried". I saw her tears. Friezzie frowned and stared at Abby. "Are you laughing at me. I will make you cry too now." Friezzie threatened and tried to grab her. She escaped and ran towards her bus. She grasped for breath and peeped out of the window. When she saw her scary friend was walking back, she said "Phew." and sat on the seat next to the window.

　　Friezzie went back to her other two friends and said "Plan the theme and let us know by Monday". We will pick our outfits in the evening she thought in her mind. Jannis nodded and bid Taylor and Friezzie goodbye. Taylor and Friezzie lived closed by and thus, shared the same bus. They walked towards their bus and the moment they found a seat, they just closed their eyes and slept off.

The theme chosen for their class was 'Ancient Kingdom'. The other classes represented their classes as 'Superheroes, Halloween special, Disney world' etc. All the theme were unique and well thought of. The whole school was decorated with bright lights with a blue background representing the uniform color. The dress for all the classmates were decided and approved by Jannie since she was in charge. Her choice was in fact liked by all and many were actually recommending her to become a designer in the future. She was happy and had a broad smile feeling content with her achievement.

　　The gown for Friezzie was gifted by Jannis and her other two girlfriends for her upcoming birthday gift. Her birthday would be up after the final exam and right after that Friezzie had plans to travel to Blore city for her graduation. They knew that they may not be able to meet to celebrate her birthday and so they decided to bring her a gift in advance.

　　Friezzie however found like the dress was already worn by her somewhere and looked familiar to her. She was wondering if she saw an actress wearing this same gown in some movie. She tried to inquire about it but Jannis with a pouted lip expression replied ''My design is not plagiarized."

　　"I don't mean that but it seems like I have seen this somewhere. Something like I have worn it before. It looks so familiar but I really don't remember." Friezzie replied in confusion and apologetically.

　　Abby pitched in to calm Jannis down and said "She must be seeing a lot of movies. Since the theme is already ancient, you may think as the princess for the day." Taylor gave a mischievous smile and said "A beautiful princess who is a prince to herself." Jannis added "The beautiful princess who oath to remain single forever since she is not a believer of love or marriage." Friezzie frowned hearing their comments like she didn't care. She added "The princess who wants to build her own little kingdom with her own money and no man will be allowed to interfere."

　　Suddenly Liala called out for Friezzie. She is Rohan's cousin sister. Liala used to tease her as her future sister in law even though she was aware that she does not like her brother. Taylor, Jannis and Abby looked at her Vampire costume and complimented her figure. She indeed looked pretty but Friezzie never liked her mainly because she always tried to hook her up with her brother. She remembers how he screamed in the class that he will marry her in front of his friends and his sister called her to help her with one of her assignments. Liala was aware what his male friends were plotting and wanted to help her brother confess his love for her and his future desires. She was fond of her too.

　　On that day, the moment she was about to enter the class, she heard him screaming that he will marry her. She was shocked and her blood was heated up. Seeing all the classmates and juniors gather around her, she felt embarrassed and let go of Laila's hand in instance. She understood what she planned. Several times whenever she went to the library alone, she intentionally sent her brother to the library during the same time to talk to her. However, Rohan could never build up his guts to approach her in person but sent messages through his cousin, Laila. Laila was a sweet and innocent girl Friezzie always thought and treated her like a sister. Only thing she didn't like was her wish to make her accept her brother as a boyfriend. She never thought of hitting him because of Laila being her classmate. Laila had helped her with notes and many plays that she had put up along with her class. Out of gratitude, she decided not to react and educate her instead that we are school students. It is too early for anyone to think of marriage. Rohan is in school and therefore immature. As he will grow up, he will be normal again and finally find the right girl to marry.

　　Coming back to her senses, Friezzie looked at Laila and said "It is our last day together, would you mind a picture with us?"

　　She looked at her with utter understanding and said "I will remember you my future sister in law." Hearing this, Friezzie couldn't help but give a fake smile and looked towards the camera on Ryan's hand. Ryan was the most studious student in the class. He was never interested in girls but in lots of books. This is the reason why Friezzie always approached him for help. As the picture session was over, Ryan came forward and said "You all look so beautiful, I would love to date all of you at once." Abby got irritated hearing his comment "I am not interested. Go date your books." Friezzie hid her smile behind her hand and put her arm on Ryan's shoulder and spoke in style "Ryan dear, stop flirting. It doesn't suit you." Ryan laughed in a joyful manner "haha. I know. I was just trying. When I go to college, I should at least flirt with a few girls or else I will be called gay. I was just practicing on you guys."

　　Taylor gave a doubtful look to say "It was an awful way of flirting. Nevermind. Keep trying. Hope you find someone in college where you go or at least many books. Haha."

　　Ryan narrowed his eyes and turned to Friezzie to speak"All boys must be crying today. All heartbroken since they won't be able to see you again." "Like I care. There will be many girls in college and I am sure attraction is a reliable component in a boy's life." Friezzie concluded proudly. She was the prettiest girl in school with smaill innocent eyes. Her smile caused a dimple in her cheek which made her look cute like a small little girl.

　　The party ended with speeches and a grand dinner. Albert was another boy who liked her and planned to propose her on that day before they leave school. He called out her name as she bid goodbye to her friends. She turned around and walked towards her. She did hear the rumour that Albert liked her very much but she did not believe since she remembered calling her a brother during a school trip. He didn't reject being called a brother but she now realised that he actually ignored her when she called her brother pretending not to listen. Albert handed her a note and told her to read it out. Seeing that people were afar, she read but stopped. Her eyes were in shock. The note had the following lines written "I would like to marry you when you turn 26. Wait for me till then. I will start earning by then." She was furious and looked at him with rage. She said "How there you. You are a school kid, behave like one. Think of making a career." With these lines, she tore the note and handed him back. She turned and sat inside the car where her father waited. She drove off and did not look back.
