Morgan's POV
"What! Are you really sure of what you are saying, spy?" Morgan shouted as his wide yellow eyes pierced into a young woman who had her head bowed
He was in a large throne room and at one end of the room, a gigantic black throne sat. A muscular man with black hair sat on the throne with eyes closed, he seems to be oblivious to the heated discussion going on.
By the side of the throne, a woman sat and opposite the throne, three other people sat, while the young woman who was standing to a side, nodded at the questionnaire before answering. "Yes, Lord Morgan. Prince Draco, the son of the magician king will be wedding Princess Alexa, the daughter of the Human Emperor tomorrow." The young lady said, with calm face.
"We can't let that happen. The Magicians are definitely plotting some things and they want to get the humans under their control, we can't allow that." He heard one of the seated men stated shaking his head.
"You are right Beta Bryan, we can't allow that but what can we even do? The wedding is tomorrow and it's taking place in the Human Empire Capital. To reach there, the warrior wolves will have to race all night, so they will be too weak to fight when we eventually reach the palace, the witches and humans will readily overwhelm us." The third man spoke.
"What do you mean Finn, even if we will have to use some warriors as steeds to transport others, we will do so. There is simply no way we are allowing that marriage to happen." The Beta spoke, his yellow eyes glowing aggressively.
"Well, I would have suggested that, but there is a big problem with it. We are infiltrating the human kingdom you see, there is no way the magicians wouldn't have been anticipating our attacks, if we use some werewolves as transport, the number of werewolves we will need to use will be too large to not alert the enemies, we will be trapped before we even realize a thing." The Gamma replied.
"So what the hell do you suggest we do, Gamma Finn?" The Beta growled, "...and I don't even mention anything about letting the wedding happen, not unless you want your head ripped off." the Beta added.
Shaking his head with a sigh, the Gamma raised both arms, "I don't really have any suggestion, at least, not after your threats." He said.
"I have one." Morgan spoke up. "Think about it, why must we attack the human capital, why don't we intercept Draco on his way back to the Magician Kingdom, that way, we can get rid of both he and the bride." He suggested.
Morgan watch the Beta and Gamma exchanged gazes for a moment, before a large smile emerged on the Beta's face as he nodded profusely, "indeed, that is very feasible, you genius never ceases to amaze me, Morgan." Beta Bryan complimented.
"Indeed, that is a great plan but... how can we be so sure of catching that Magician Prince on his way back, after all, he would surely be anticipating our attack and might take some unlikely detour to avoid us." Gamma Finn pointed out.
"Why does it appears like you always have a problem to every solution, Gamma Finn? You should really give your own idea if you are so insightful, we have no time." The woman sitting beside the throne eventually spoke and Gamma Finn gave a wary smile before bowing slightly.
"Forgive me Luna, but I was only looking out for the good of all. But are you really willing to hear my own suggestion? I feel like you won't like it." Gamma Finn asked, his eyes now serious as he looked around and everyone's eyes were now fixed on him. "Actually, I think I might need the Alpha's permission to say my mind." The Gamma added as his gaze settled on the man seated on the large black throne and everyone exchanged confused face.
Slowly, the Alpha on the throne opened his eyes, they were glowing like molten gold, brimming with great power as he looked directly towards the Gamma and said "speak your mind." the Alpha and King of the whole werewolf race ordered, his voice brimming with absolute power and authority.
"Thanks Alpha, I simply think there is no one capable of stopping the wedding except the, Demon Wolf. I think Deron should be summoned for this mission." Gamma Finn said and the whole room quietened for a moment.
"What the hell are you spouting Gamma Finn!" Morgan shouted as he stood up, "Why would you need to summon Deron when I have provide a clear way to get rid of our problem and how in hell do you even think a single wolf can run all the way to the human capital, single handedly fight everyone magician and human on guard, stop the marriage and still survive. How the hell is Deron supposed to do that?" Morgan thundered.
"Well, Deron's is called a Demon for a reason and I am actually inclined to believe he might be the only way out in this. But even more, this doesn't in anyway stop you from acting, you can just take your fighters and go ahead with your plan. If Deron doesn't succeed, you will be able to intercept the Magician Prince and kill him, simple as that." The Gamma said, with a smile.
"Wh..." Morgan was however interrupted by the Luna.
"Enough son, Gamma Finn has finally given a suggestion which I think it is a brilliant one. And even if you disagree, you should leave the decision to your father and stop arguing already." The Luna berated Morgan who looked at his mother before sighing and taking his seat.
The King looked at Gamma Finn for a moment and then said, "Morgan is right, no matter how strong Deron is, he wouldn't be able to stop the marriage singlehandedly. We will go along with Morgan's plan." The Alpha spoke, but just as he quieten, the sound of footsteps could be heard from the side and everyone turned there to see a figure in white hood walking towards them.
"We greet the Seer, messenger of the moon." Everyone in the room chorused except for the Alpha who simply stared on at her.
Her eyes were totally white and they were fixed on the Alpha as she spoke, "the marriage must not be allowed to happen, and the Bride must be killed. Send both of your sons, whoever manages to kill the Bride will succeed you as Alpha." The Seer said before turning back and retreating from the throne room.
"It seems the Demon Wolf will have to leave after all." Gamma Finn said, with a smile.
Deron's POV
In a large space, surrounded by trees on all sides, a man could be seen skillfully swinging a sword in his arm with focused face, his wild dark hair scattered all over his face, while some stuck to his sweaty skin.
This was Deron, the first child of the werewolf Alpha who was also known as the demon wolf.
Deron took a powerful swing at a large tree trunk, completely severing through it before he turned towards another tree by the side, "What is it?" he asked, looking at a tree.
Slowly, a fidgeting maid emerged from behind the tree, her face bowed to the ground as she speak, "The Alpha summons you. My, my Lord." Her shaky voice spoke in one breathe.
"Ok, you can leave." Deron said, but the maid did not leave as she looked up to his eyes with fearful face before bowing again and speaking, "for, forgive me my lord but the Alpha demands you come right away." She said.
"Right away." Deron repeated, his blue eyes slightly thinned. He sheathed the sword in his hand and then walked past the maid who visible flinched as Deron passed by her.
Moments later in the throne room...
"You summoned, father." Deron said as he stood some distance in front of a large black throne on which a white man could be seen sitting with his eyes closed.
He could see the Gamma and Beta by the side but just like every other person, Deron did not bother talking to them.
Slowly, the Alpha opened his eyes looking at Deron for a moment before speaking, "The Magician Prince is planning to wed the human princess tomorrow, a union which is not allowed to happen. Hence, you are to head off to the human emperor's palace and stop the marriage, but more importantly, you have to kill the Bride." The Alpha spoke.
"The marriage is tomorrow?" Deron said, with a questioning tone.
"Yes." The Alpha replied.
"I should set off, then." Deron stated, before bowing slightly the Alpha and leaving.
Deron walked out of the throne room into a path which led towards a large gate in the distance, to the sides were large gigantic buildings and several werewolves were also walking to and fro but all avoided him like plague.
Not seeming to notice anyone, Deron exited the gate walking on into the distance and soon, he had left the large castle of the Werewolf Alpha and King behind.
Morgan's POV
At the top of a tower in the castle, the Luna stood looking at Deron's departing figure while Morgan walked towards her from behind.
"You called mother, please be quick with whatever it is you want to say, my warriors are all ready."Morgan said impatiently.
"Why are you so impatient, son?" The Luna asked, still looking at Deron's departing back with a venomous face.
"Mom, what do you mean I am being impatient, he is already leaving, do you want him to complete the mission and become Alpha." Morgan spoke even more impatiently.
Slowly, the Luna turned towards him with a large motherly smile on her face before speaking, "I want you to know this Morgan, you are not competing with that Demon. He may be your half-brother but don't even see him as a challenge." After speaking, the Luna turned back looking into the distance.
"What do you mean mother, but he will become Alpha if he kills the Bride, Aunt said so." Morgan said.
"I am glad you still remember the seer is your Aunt, my sister. Why do you think she will create a competition where that Demon is far more advantaged than you?" the Luna asked.
"But, she did and why did you say he was more advantaged than I am, are you saying he is stronger than me." Morgan asked with slightly hurt voice.
"I said what I said son, you must identify your strengths and weaknesses or else, you will get destroyed faster than you can ever imagine. That Demon indeed has higher chance of stopping the wedding but still he won't be able to kill the bride. Sister assured me of that so you can be rest assured as well, you just have to follow him and create a scene in the human capital and then you can claim you stopped the wedding together." The Luna spoke.
"But why?" Morgan said with low voice and the Luna turned towards him with raised brows.
"I mean, why do you all think I am weaker than Deron? Why won't you let me compete with him on a fair ground and let us see the best man?" Morgan said looking at his mother who raised her hand, putting it on his shoulder before sighing.
"That because he is a Demon, he sucked out life off his mother on the day of his birth and that is how he does, anyone who comes close to him slowly have their life sucked out of them. We are Werewolves son, we don't compete with Demons." The Luna said, patting her son on the shoulder before adding, "go on son and do as I said, stop the marriage together with that Demon." She said.
Deron's POV
Several hours later...
Deron had transformed into a gigantic Lycan and raced through the human territories with great speed, but the day had eventually caught up to him and he transformed back into his human form.
Under the bright sun, he walked towards a tall wall in the distance and with bare hands, Deron gripped into the wall. His nails were hard as iron as he scaled rapidly up the wall, to the very top.
Deron hid behind a pillar as his eyes scoured the castle environs around which several guards patrolled and he was sure he couldn't avoid being noticed.
"The sounds in that hall suggests the wedding might have been kicked off, I don't have time." Deron muttered, before jumping off the wall into the ground and then dashed towards a large hall in the distance.
Just as he thought, however, a guard had spotted him.
"Intruder! There is an intruder in the castle!" the guard shouted, as he swing his sword towards Deron.
Deron, however, grabbed the incoming sword in his hand before wholly lifting the guard off the ground and sending him crashing into another incoming group of guards.
To his surprise, a group dressed in robes surrounded him swiftly as their hands glowed and different elemental attacks were being throw in in his way.
Deron immediately unsheathed his sword, cutting through the vines coming towards him and they were diced into pieces, before he dashed forwards knocking the magician out of his way. Entering a large building, Deron emerged in a beautiful hall which was no doubt designed for a great celebration.
Many people could be seen in the room but a particular one stood out to Deron, a man with long violet hair, this was without doubt the Magician Prince.
"Now, now, would you mind to show me you invitation, friend." The Blue haired man spoke, walking towards him and Deron sheathed the sword in his hand.
"Where is the Bride?" he asked, simply before suddenly closing his eyes and sucking in a deep breathe, a strange scent had suddenly hit his nose, so alluring that he wanted more. His dark eyes flared open as he look to the source and there, Deron saw the most beautiful creature he had ever seen in his life.
Alexa's POV
Alexa sat in her looking nervously at the mirror in front of her. It was her wedding day, but she was not marrying to any other noble. Instead, the groom was the Prince of the Magicians, Prince Draco.
Two maids attended to her hair, dress, perfume and every other details about her appearance and Alexa could see her natural beauty being accentuated even more, as she gazed into the mirror.
"You are all set up now, My Lady, everyone is waiting for you." A maid behind her spoke and she looked up at her with unsure face.
"Do you think I made the right decision, Marie, by agreeing to marry Prince Draco?" Alexa asked looking at the maid who smiled reassuringly.
"You made the right choice, My Lady. I heard Prince Draco is a handsome man with pleasant personality, he is also a powerful magician and will be able to protect you." Marie replied.
"Uh, it seems the rumors about him are all good, maybe getting married to him isn't that bad after all." Alexa said, shutting her eyes in uncertainty.
"We have to leave now My Lady." The other maid stated with slightly impatient voice and Alexa lids flew open, before looking into the mirror and sighed.
"Ok then, let's go." She said and stood up. With the maids holding her dress up by the helm, Alexa gingerly walk down a beautiful path while some maids went before here, scattering flowers in her the path.
Soon, she entered into a large hall which had several golden statues adorning its wall. However, something felt off, why did no one seems to be paying her any attention? But instead, they were all looking at two figures in the center of the room.
This two were standing at the Grooms place, she wondered who her Groom was as she looked at them both.
The first one to catch her attention was a beast looking man whose dark eyes looked directly into hers. He was tall, muscular, with wild dark hair which were scattered all over his head. He was also dressed in a dark coat while a large sword hung by his waist.
Was this her Bride? Alexa doubted it, after all which bride would bring a sword to their marriage ceremony.
As for the second figure. He was tall, almost as tall as the other man and had a lean musculature, he long light violet hair which was elegantly tied behind him, on his body, a silky purple robe could be seen but he was looking away from her, he instead seems to be glaring at the rough muscular man. This second man was without doubt, the Magician Prince, Draco.
"Are you ignoring me?" Alexa heard Prince Draco said, as a blue glow began to materialize over his arms.
"I am not ignoring you, you are just not my target." The muscular man replied, before dashing towards her and Alexa's eyes widened.
Deron's POV
Immediately he set his eyes on her, Deron felt the whole world disappear from his senses.
"Are you ignoring me?" he heard the Magician Prince voice which jolted him out of his daze and replied honestly, "I am not ignoring you, you are just not my target."
Deron then dashed towards the bride but he could see several knights formed barricade between him and her before dashing towards him with their swords. He however did not have much time to spare, not that they were even worth fighting,
In a single giant leap, Deron leapt over the incoming attackers landing right in front of the retreating princess and he could see the maids besides her stumbling back out of sheer fright. He was actually surprise she didn't.
"Don't resist, you will only get hurt if you do." He said while grabbing toward her but a hand crackling with blue lightning had suddenly grabbed into him from the sides and Deron felt his body trembling as electrifying shocks raced through his body.
"Did you just say my wife will get hurt?" the Magician Prince who was in fact, the one using the power of lightning asked him with angered face.
"I did." Deron growled before dark fur burst out of his body and he morphed into a gigantic Lycan in an instant. With a swing of his arm, the Magician Prince was violently flung to the side.
His dark eyes looked into the human Princess who was frozen in place before he picked her and dashed off the hall.
The Knights tried to attack, but an alarmed trumpet was suddenly blown from the castle tower.
"The castle is under attack! The werewolves are attacking!" a loud shout reached everyone's ear and the knights turned confused for a moment.
"Prince Draco, I you can concentrate on stopping that Lycan, we will deal with the werewolves." The Emperor declared as he stood from his throne gripping a spear and a shield.
"Very well, Emperor Daglock, I will leave some magicians to help you." Prince Draco replied, before starting after Deron with some magicians behind him.
Morgan's POV
After his discuss with his mother, the Luna, Morgan led his warriors out of the Werewolf Alpha castle with angry face. No matter what his mother said, he knew she still thought he was weaker than his half-brother and he was bent on proving that wrong.
Not only would he stop the wedding but he would kill the Bride and bring her dead body back to the pack for everyone to see, he would prove that he was the rightful heir to the Alpha throne.
Through the night, they raced to the human territory and now, they could finally see the gigantic wall of the human castle in the distance.
Morgan wondered why the human Emperor had made in his capital right at the boundary of the human lands and the supernatural lands. The human Emperor had however, always proven up to the task when it came to dealing with supernatural creatures but whatever the case was, Morgan was sure he would bring back the dead body of the Emperor's daughter with him to the Werewolf lands.
He stood in his large Lycan form, and behind him, many large wolves could be seen.
Only werewolves with Alpha blood could morph into the humanoid Lycan form, while other werewolves would only morph into giant wolves.
Suddenly, he could hear the war trumpet being blown by the humans and without doubt, they had been spotted and Knights on large steeds soon came galloping towards them.
"Attack!" He commanded dashing ahead of the wolves.
