Chapter 1 Are You Working As A Prostitute

Beep, beep, beep!

The loud ringtone of a mobile phone pierced the silence of the girls' dormitory that evening.

"Cherry! Answer the phone already! What are you waiting for?" The girl next to Cherry Shaw gently nudged her.

"Oh, right!"

After answering the call, Cherry stood up and said to her friend, "There's a package for me, I'll just go and get it."

"Okay!"

After a while, she came back with two well wrapped gift boxes, but she looked a little embarrassed.

"Wow, these gift boxes are gorgeous! What's in them? Are they gifts from your boyfriend?" The other girls immediately surrounded Cherry curiously.

With an embarrassed smile, she held the boxes tightly in her arms and replied, "It's nothing. They are just clothes I bought online!"

When the other two girls who didn't get along well with Cherry saw her hiding the contents, one of them scoffed, "Fine, fine, but by the look on your face it's probably something unpresentable!"

Cherry didn't give a damn about their opinion; she continued to smile vaguely.

Her roommate and best friend, Joy Lodge, approached her and whispered, "Cherry, what's going on? What's all this fuss about?"

"Joy, can you give me some time alone in the room? I need to get changed," Cherry replied awkwardly.

Joy asked in a puzzled tone, "What's up? We are all girls here. Haven't we always got changed with other in the room? Why are you so shy all of a sudden?"

"Joy, please. I'll explain later!"

"Huh? Okay, fine. You owe me big time for this! Dinner is on you next time!"

Joy found some lame excuse to get the other girls out of the room. Finally, Cherry was left alone in the dormitory. She stared at the boxes with a bitter smile.

There was a pair of high-heels and a V-neck dress, along with a note asking her to wear them on Ron Frost's bachelor party that night.

Cherry got changed and looked at herself in the mirror. To her, the dress was way too short. She didn't like the way she looked in this dress.

She didn't like the way she looked in this dress.

Just as Cherry was adjusting the dress, the dormitory door flew open and the three girls gawked at her from the doorway, with snacks in their hands.

Their jaws dropped as they stared at Cherry in her dress. Her back was smooth and delicate, and the dress hugged her slender waist. The V-neck showed her excellent features. Her exposed legs looked even more beautiful with the high heels.

Cherry was the most beautiful girl at the Regal Dance Academy, a well-known beauty among the students and teachers. She had always been treated like a goddess by her classmates, but seeing her in this flimsy dress...

Joy blushed in embarrassment and asked nervously, "Cherry, why... Why are you dressed like this?"

The other two, who were clearly jealous of her beauty, looked at each other and then one of them said sarcastically, "Cherry, are you planning to seduce someone with that outfit?"

The other one said more viciously, "Are you working as a prostitute? You seem to be dressed appropriately for the job. I bet you'll be worth a lot of money in many circles."

"Ha ha! I didn't think that the purest, most beautiful girl in our academy would stoop to this!"

Hearing their sarcastic taunts, Joy roared, "What the hell are you talking about? You have no idea what's going on! Don't just jump into conclusions!"

"Oh, please! We know you two are good friends. But that doesn't mean you can stop us from saying what we think."

"Yeah! We have the right to speak our mind. Plus, we are telling the truth. The college goddess has turned into a prostitute!"

The other girl cut in with a sneer, "I am definitely posting this on the campus Internet. The men who are into her need to know what kind of person she really is. Their goddess doesn't need them to pursue her so tenaciously. She will wear anything to make herself the center of attention!" Laughing, the two girls turned around and left.

"Stop! Don't you dare spread rumors!" Joy ran after the girls angrily.

"Forget it, Joy. Let them be. We don't have the right to silence others," Cherry said calmly. As she spoke, she threw a coat over her shoulders.

"But Cherry... Why are you dressed like this? Are you going out wearing this dress? Don't tell me you're going to see Ron!"

Cherry nodded indifferently and said, "Our engagement party is in three days. He asked me to attend his bachelor party tonight."

"What?! Do you still intend to marry him? Why, Cherry? Do you love him so much that you would sacrifice your future for his sake?

I could understand why you wanted to marry him before. He was charming, handsome and rich. Although he had some bad habits like many other men from rich families, he was still a prince charming for many women.

But since he became disabled after the car accident, he would never be able to walk without assistance again, and his handsome face was also burned terribly. He is a completely different man now. He has to cover half his face with a mask when he goes out. No girl would be willing to marry him now. Marrying him will leave you in a place like hell!

And all that wouldn't have mattered if you really loved each other! I wouldn't have even bothered to say anything if that was the case. But it's obvious that he doesn't love you, Cherry. He doesn't care even about you. I have seen him intentionally humiliate you in front of others. He is a psychopath!

You could have anyone you want. You are beautiful and smart. Why do you have to marry a man like him?

Did he force you to wear this dress too?" Joy questioned angrily.

With a bitter smile, Cherry remained silent. After a short pause, she said, "There are always some things in life that you have to do, even unwillingly.

Let's talk later. It's getting late. He doesn't like to be kept waiting."

Cherry grabbed her purse and left the room, leaving Joy in a daze. To her, Cherry seemed so helpless and her words were filled with bitterness.

Chapter 2 You Are Wearing Sexier Clothes Than Me

The Twilight.

The Twilight was the most luxurious and high-end entertainment club in Lightbourne and was built in the suburbs near several universities.

Generally, entertainment spots were situated in the bustling downtown area, but Twilight dared to venture in the opposite direction. Despite that, it became the most famous entertainment club in the city. It had a mysterious aura that attracted the upper-class members of the society.

It was late night and there were few cars on the road. A luxury car came to a sudden halt in the middle of the road.

"What's wrong?" A deep and charming voice came from the back seat of the car.

"Mr. Frost, I think there's an issue with the engine. I'll check it out right away!" the driver, Jack West, replied respectfully.

"Make it quick," the man replied curtly.

At that moment, they heard a shrill scream from the bushes alongside the road. "Ah! Help! Someone, help me!

Who are you?! Get away from me! No! Don't touch me!"

Jack looked in the direction of the scream and saw two young men, both with red hair, bullying a young girl and tearing at her dress.

"Sir, should we help?"

The man in the back seat of the car didn't say a word, his eyes were fixed on the laptop screen in front of him. His slender fingers ran amok on the keyboard as he concentrated hard on his job. Jack got the answer to his question, and continued to check the engine.

Cherry heard the girl's cry for help. She hesitated for a moment, but then took off in the girl's direction quickly. She picked up two bricks on the way to her rescue.

She smashed them on the men's heads simultaneously with no mercy. Before they could react, she grabbed a few more rocks and threw them at their heads, driving the drunkards to their knees.

"The police will be here soon! How dare you lay your hand on a woman without her consent!"

The men covered their heads and whined in pain. They glared at Cherry in fury, but if the police were really on their way, there was nothing they could do. They cursed her and ran away.

Cherry heaved a sigh of relief, thankful that they didn't catch on to her lie. She turned to look at the girl on the ground. She was still crying, trembling in fear.

Squatting down, Cherry comforted the girl, "It's alright now. Why did you come out this late, wearing so little? You were lucky I was passing by."

Tears ran down the girl's cheeks and her shoulders were shaking. Cherry patted her calmly and said, "Girls should learn to protect themselves. When others take advantage of you, you should be brave enough to fight back. Crying won't solve anything. It's useless."

The girl's tears gradually stopped. She grabbed the hem of Cherry's clothes and said in a low voice, "Thank you, Miss. Could you... Could you lend me your coat?" The girl hesitated.

"I'll pay for it!" she added nervously.

Cherry looked at her. Her clothes had been torn to pieces.

"Miss! Please, I beg you. My classmates will laugh at me if I return to the dormitory like this. I'd rather die than going through such embarassment!" the girl said, her eyes filling with tears again.

Cherry hesitated for a moment, she guessed that this girl was a fresher. She couldn't ignore the her plea. Cherry took off her coat and wrapped the girl in it.

"Miss, you... You are wearing sexier clothes than me... I..." The girl stared at Cherry in a shocked surprise.

Cherry's face turned red. After all, she had just lectured the girl about roaming around at night thinly-clad.

"Ahem... Go back to your dorm now. You can keep the coat!" She said goodbye and walked away from the wide-eyed girl. Cherry grabbed her high heels from the roadside and left quickly.

The man witnessed everything that had happened. His gaze was fixed on Cherry's bare back, her well-toned buttocks and her slender, white legs.

'What an interesting, double-faced woman!' he thought.

He was just as surprised as the girl when Cherry had removed her coat.

And her personality was in line with his appetite. Her words echoed in his mind-'When others take advantage of you, you should be brave enough to fight back. Crying won't solve anything. It's useless.'

"Mr. Frost, the car is ready."

"Good. Let's go."

Jack started the car. He talked enthusiastically about what he had just seen. "That girl was a bit too cruel to those men. It hurt to even look at them!

Girls nowadays are really two-faced. They tell others not to wear so little, but in the end, they go out looking like that! Look at her dress. It's way too short!

If my daughter dressed like that, I would definitely kick her out of the house!"

Melvin Frost stared at the laptop screen without saying a word, but when the car sped past Cherry, he reflexively looked out the window.

'Well, she does look good. But that dress... really doesn't suit her.'

The incident was just an unimportant event that he had happened to witness on his way, and Melvin didn't want to dwell on it. He had much more important things to deal with since he had just returned from abroad.

"Mr. Frost, we've arrived," Jack said as the car came to a stop.

Melvin glanced out at the building in front of them. He turned off his laptop and got out of the car gracefully. He then walked into a private room of Twilight.

About fifteen minutes later, Cherry arrived at the same club. It was indeed the most luxurious club in Lightbourne. The European style building was brightly lit, making it look like a castle in the forest.

The hall was decorated with golden crystal chandeliers; the corridors were made of white carved marbles, and the floor was covered with an elegant handmade carpet made in Italy. The walls were decorated with expensive European-style murals, making the hall look incredibly luxurious.

As Cherry was looking around the hall, the people around were staring at her. The moment she entered, she was the center of everyone's attention. The girl had walked into the club in such a bold dress, and her figure was accentuated by the tight outfit.

Cherry was aware of the eyes on her. She tried to calm herself down and pretended not to care. She turned to one of the attendants and asked, "Excuse me, where is Room 309?"

"This way, please follow me."

The attendant led Cherry through the resplendent hall and several white corridors. Finally, they stopped in front of a private room.

Staring at the door number, Cherry hesitated before pushing the door open.

The room was dim, the music was deafening and the smoke was kind of choking. Men and women were singing and dancing, and a few bolder ones were hugging and kissing as if no one was watching!

When the door opened, everyone looked at the new guest and was stunned by Cherry's looks.

Melvin, who was sitting in a dark corner, drinking his red wine, raised his eyebrows at the new entry. It was her!

Chapter 3 Mr. Frost Is A Lucky Guy

Silence filled the room for a few seconds. Then all of a sudden, a young man shouted to the man in a mask meaningfully, "Mr. Frost, your fiancee is here!"

One of the two beautiful women beside the young man also commented, "Hey, isn't she the second daughter of the head of the Shaw family? Someone is looking gorgeous tonight!"

"Yes! Mr. Frost is such a lucky guy. He will definitely have a smile on his lips even when he is in his dreams in the future."

Hearing such unkind boos and jokes in the private room, Cherry felt a little embarrassed.

She smiled shyly at everyone like a frightened little rabbit and carefully passed through the men and women who were dancing in the room. She then sat obediently next to the masked man and put her purse on her lap. She looked a little uneasy.

"Ron, I'm sorry for being late. Something came up during my way here, so I was delayed." Cherry seemed to be very afraid of the masked man beside her. She did not only speak in a low voice, but her fingertips also trembled slightly.

The masked man shook the wine glass in his hand and slowly took a sip, totally ignoring her. It was as if he didn't hear anything she said.

At this time, a woman in a short dress with a glass of wine in her hand approached Ron. She then said in a sweet voice, "Mr. Frost, is she your fiancee? She looks average. I wonder why your grandfather wants you to marry her instead of me. Am I not even better than this dull fool in your heart?"

The woman then snuggled up in Ron's arms. Her voice slightly trembled as if she was about to cry.

It was only then that Ron reacted. He seemed to care about the woman in his arms so much that he hurriedly coaxed her, "Baby, don't cry. To me, you are always the best. Others can't even hold a candle to you."

"Really? Then can you give me a kiss? After all, after tonight, you won't belong to me anymore," Juicy Fairclough said in a coquettish but pitiful voice.

"Baby, don't cry now, okay? My heart will always belong to you." As he spoke, Ron Frost suddenly held her in his arms. It was as if Cherry, who was sitting next to him, was nothing.

Actually, Cherry was worse than nothing. After what the young man said just now, everyone in the room already knew that she was Ron's fiancee. Their engagement party would be held in three days. But here he was, kissing his ex-girlfriend in front of her.

Ron held Juicy's slender waist with one hand, and stared at her with deep affection in his eyes. The intense gaze made her blush in his arms.

"Hmm... stop it.

Don't look me like that. I can't stand it."

"Baby, I love you so much," Ron said in a deep voice.

"Ha-ha! You're too charming.. But don't you feel a little ashamed to say such words in front of so many people?" Juicy pretended to look shy. But she cast a challenging and disdainful look at Cherry, who was just sitting there quietly like an obedient child.

Ron and Juicy continued to play with each other as if no one was around. They didn't even mind the ambiguous glances of others.

When she noticed that most people in the room were looking at her gloatingly, Cherry lowered her head, clutched the purse on her lap with her trembling hands, and still sat quietly next to Ron. She didn't dare to make a sound or even breathe.

Cherry knew that everyone's eyes were full of malice. She also knew that Ron asked her to come here tonight to humiliate her and to warn her to give up.

But there was nothing else she could do but put up with everything that was going on and pretend to overlook Juicy's gaze. No matter how disgusted she was with Ron and how much humiliation and embarrassment he would give her, she still had to marry him.

Cherry didn't notice that as soon as she entered the room, Melvin's eyes were all on her. He watched her every move, and it made him more and more curious about her.

A few moments ago, he had seen it with his own eyes how she brutally smashed the people with stones to defend the girl who was bullied. She had a confident and flamboyant smile on her face, she even told the girl that if someone took advantage of her, she should fight back because crying was useless.

But now, she looked so obedient and dull sitting next to Ron.

Her acting was indeed commendable as she was able to deceive all the people in the room except Melvin. He felt that she was very interesting. Even more interesting than what was happening in front of him.

Wasn't it strange that a confident, vigorous, and special woman suddenly became quiet, dull, and obedient?

Since she was so good at acting, he wanted to see what this "good girl" was up to.

But there was something that he still didn't know, so he suddenly asked his friend next to him, "What's going on?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" Adrian Wood, who was watching the fun, did not understand what Melvin was asking about.

But when he noticed that Melvin was looking at Cherry, he finally understood and said, "Oh, do you want to know why Ron is making out with another woman even though his fiancee is sitting next to him?

Ha-ha! It's a miracle that there is something you don't know. Then let me tell you something about Ron's love affairs.

That woman who is talking to Ron is Juicy Fairclough. She is Ron's girlfriend. The two of them loved each other deeply. But Juicy comes from an ordinary family, and Ron's grandfather looks down on her. Since Ron's grandfather doesn't like Juicy at all, he arranged Ron to marry Cherry Shaw."

"Cherry Shaw..." Melvin repeated in a low but deep voice. He seemed to like the sound of her name.

Adrian thought that Melvin did not know who Cherry was, so he pouted his lips in her direction. "That woman sitting next to Ron is Cherry Shaw. She's the unlucky woman who can't even make a noise while watching his fiance kissing another woman."
