chapter 1

"Aunt, I'm leaving," I said to my aunt. "Get out of here quickly, then we don't have enough to pay the house rent; ask your manager when your last modeling will be paid; you're not helping anymore," he said while dancing with our other neighbors.

"Alright, I'll ask before I leave," I said again.

"Get out of my life, you bad luck; if I lose here, leave; get out of my life." His language irritated me, so I left the house.

Tita is my only companion in life, so even though I know she doesn't accept me, I understand. I don't want to leave him alone because, since my useless father left me, he has taken care of me.

Class ended, so I immediately went straight to the agency to get the money.

"Madam Apple, I'll take it," I said when I entered her office.

"This is Mavi," he said, reaching for an envelope.

"Thank you, madam, I'm leaving." I said goodbye, but he stopped me.

"Just wait, I'll tell you something," he said, pointing to the chair, so I sat down. "Mavi, the Crevance Modeling Agency has given a slot for our female and male models for their Catwalk show, and we have chosen you to represent our agency, but once their scouts find you, they will hire you. They already have you as their model, so they chose you because we knew that you deserve it." He explained, "But Madam, I can't afford such a big modeling company; besides, I'm studying; you know that this is just freelance modeling; I have no intention of making modeling full time because after I finish studying, I will stop working as a model; maybe I can't focus." I said "I know you will say that, but you are the deserving one for your slot, Mavi son, and your salary in modeling is more than the talent fee for you, which we cannot afford. That is why we want you to get it because it is also for you, son." He said that's why I thought about it.

I might be able to make modeling full time at that agency once I can't immediately find a new partner after I graduate, and I can help Aunty with the bills when my talent fee increases.

"Alright, Madam, I'll try, but if I don't get it, can I continue being a model here?" I said, so she nodded.

When we entered, I immediately saw that Mr. Garcia is the big boss of the agency, and I also saw that Mr. Salazar is the big boss of Crevance Modeling Agency.

I was immediately shocked when I saw that Ynigo was there. I know he is Mr. Salazar's son, but I didn't expect him to be here.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Salazar," Madam Apple immediately said.

"It's Mr. Salazar; he's the one chosen by the agency for your Cat Walk event," said Mr. Garcia.

"Good afternoon, I'm Mavi Andrea Medina, sir." I bowed after introducing myself.

CHAPTER 2

When I got home, it was a bit late because Madame took a long time to introduce and talk to the CEO of Crevance Agency, accompanied by a difficult ride in the jeep and traffic, so it will be ten o'clock when I get home.

"Where did you come from? You're lazy; do you know that I'm going to die here because there's no food? I've already lost since I went along with you." Auntie said this while pushing my forehead with her index finger.

"I'm sorry, there's traffic, but I'm going to buy some food," I said as I quickly served the porridge and rice I brought.

I didn't finish serving when he threw me the hot rice porridge I bought. I still felt its heat, which is why I immediately shook the soup that was spilled on my body.

"I've lost my appetite; fuck you. Where's the money?" He said that's why I hurried to get the money from my bag.

"This is it," he said, handing it to him. He counted it.

"Why was it only ten thousand in the past? Why did it lose so much?" he yelled, which is why I bowed.

"I'm sorry, that's really all there is because the previous gig earned that much; that's why it's only ten thousand," I said.

"That's nothing, yes, it's just that I owe five thousand to the majong, then I have a debt of eight thousand on the house and three thousand on Mang Pedring's store. What else are we going to eat for him?" pointed out

"I will find a way," I said.

"Just make sure, but I'll get you out of my house. You're too lazy to even help," he said, then walked and hit me, so I fell down and my arm hit the end of the table.

I stood up immediately, and only then did I feel tears running down my cheeks.

I put away the spilled food and then went straight to my room.

I sat on the bed and immediately took Mom's picture and hugged it.

"Ma," I cried into the picture frame while hugging it.

"Please give me strength through all of this; I promise I will finish like your dream. I will find a man who will love and appreciate me, unlike what your husband did to you. Mom, I miss you," I said while crying.

Maybe because I was crying so much that I fell asleep hugging Mom's picture and was not able to change my uniform,

I immediately showered and got dressed to get ready to go in.

When I came out of the room, I saw my aunt still sleeping, so I prepared breakfast.

Because I would be late if I waited for her, I ate first and then left because my aunt didn't want to wake her up, so I went first.

Since it's not rush hour, I don't have much traffic.

While on the trip, I thought of a way to pay off our debts.

"Ivy! " I called Ivy when I saw her walking in the hall, and she immediately waved at me.

"Ah, I'm sorry, but it's going to hurt my face, Ivy. Can I borrow you a Bentemil? I need it for the house and our debts." I said as we walked down the hall.

Ivy is open about my problems, so it's okay for me to tell her, but this is the first time I will borrow money from her, so I'm very shy.

"Sorry, Mavi, I want to be grounded because mommy is limited in the amount of money I can take, so maybe you can help me." He said to smile, and I nodded and just smiled.

"It's okay, just in case," I said.

We went to our first class, and I saw Ynigo there. I just smiled formally at him, then went straight to my seat.

When the class was over, I immediately hurried home because Aunty would warm up for me.

"Miss! " A gay man called me; that's why I turned to him and came closer.

"Why?" I asked.

"You're beautiful; you can be a model." He said so, and I smiled

"I'm a model, but you're not that famous." I smiled

"Ah, by the way, I have a gig for you today," he said. My eyes widened when I heard that.

"How much?"

"30k" My eyes widen; this is double what I earn from my agency per gig, but it will help me a lot.

"Maybe that's bogus?" I said that's why he pulled out an ID that proved he was a professional photographer at a famous agency.

I went with him, and he said that we should shoot at the hotel because their studio is still under construction, and he knows that I have a lot of people with me. That's fine with me because I'm used to this kind of shooting.

We arrived at a 5 star hotel and we went to the isng room there.

I wasn't nervous at first because he was gay and I had other models to work with.

But my heart beat faster when we were the only two in the room.

"Where are the others?" I asked

"They said they wouldn't continue." He said that's why I took my bag.

"I'm going to leave," I said, then walked out, but he pushed me, and now I don't see any trace of being gay in his appearance.

I tried to push him, but nothing seemed to happen because he was so strong.

He pressed a kiss on my neck; that's why I pushed him, but like before, nothing happened.

"HELP!" And in an instant, he slid to the floor. Ynigo pulled me out of that room.

I can feel the shaking of my whole body; I feel like I will fall at any moment.

When we entered the elevator, I completely lost my strength. I fell to the floor and cried.

I felt his foot on me.

"It's okay; don't be afraid," he said while still hugging.

I didn't answer; he still supported me to stand, and then we got out of the elevator and went to a black Lexus ES.

He helped me get on and then turned around to get into the driver's seat.

"Where is your house so I can take you?" He said it, but I immediately shook my head.

"Don't go home; don't go anywhere; don't go there," I said, so he nodded in surprise.

I don't want my aunt to know that because of money, I almost got ruined.

We stopped for a while at a condominium and went inside to go to his unit.

"Is my unit okay?" He asked while we were in the elevator.

"Yes, it's okay, thank you," I said, then we entered his unit.

I sat on a sofa, and he handed me a water bottle.

He asked me what happened, so I told him.

"Why do you have to go with him?" he asked.

"I need money." I spoke directly; fortunately, he was broad-minded and understood me.

"Thank you," I said.

"That's okay," he answered, so I smiled.

It's a good thing he saved me. I didn't know what I was going to do at the time.

My fear and nervousness about what happened have subsided.

CHAPTER 3

He didn't realize that I took a nap on Ynigo's couch, he said because he was going to cook, so maybe I took a nap while watching TV.

I just woke up when he patted me.

It's dark outside when you invite me to eat dinner.

"Thank you for helping me" I broke the silence while we were eating.

he smiled before speaking "Don't thank me, I just helped" He smiled.

This time I know him differently, he's not the easy go Lucky guy like before. I feel different about him and I'm afraid of it because I know what it's like, I have a boyfriend and I know the feeling of falling in love.

I have to admit that I like Ynigo at this point and I'm afraid that it might get worse and at that point I'll be hurt.

when we finished eating he took me.

He stopped the car at the house I pointed to, I immediately saw my aunt and other neighbors marveling at Ynigo's car.

"I'll go first" I said shyly "I'm sorry I can't invite you to the house today" I said then bowed and he just smiled.

"It's alright" He said

"Thank you again" I said quickly getting out of the car.

I immediately saw aunt's glaring eyes, I came to direct but she slapped me in front of the neighbors.

I turned to the car and was praying that he didn't see what happened, but it was too late and I saw that he was still there but luckily when I smiled, his Lexus ES immediately left.

"Come here you are blown away! " Aunty said giggled as she pulled my hair into the house. "What time did you go home, then what's with you huh" she said then pushed me and let go my head hit the wall and I felt the poison but I forced it I'll fix it.

"I'm sorry I came home late because something happened earlier." I said

"What happened to the money?" His language.

"I'm not here now, but I'll find a way." I said and felt his palm on my face

"WHAT?! STILL NOTHING! "He yelled loudly at my face and I backed away.

"I'm sorry tomorrow is tomorrow" I said.

."It would be good if you used your face for money, the one you were with earlier was a man, right? He is rich and has a car to use so that you can help" he said, my blood warmed to hear what aunt said.

"I have no intention of doing that" I said directly.

"Why are you letting your stupidity exist, you are obeying your useless mother but impregnating a shameless man" said aunt.

"AUNT IT'S OK" I cried as I said I didn't want to tell mom anything.

"I don't know if I'm yours grab me and don't be stupid" he said then left me.

Just then I felt my head ache, I touched it and felt it wet.

because it was hit earlier, it bled, but it looks like it's a small wound so it won't make a mark, maybe I'll be fired from being a model if I get hurt or scarred.

That night I cried myself to sleep while holding mom's picture.

I don't know what to do anymore but I promised him that I will finish.

The next day I came in with a band aid on my head.

"Mavi" I turned to Ynigo's name as I walked down the hallway.

I felt my heart beat faster when I saw him, it wasn't good because I was afraid I might fall too far. The only thing he can do to me is that I like him, but if he adds more, I'll go crazy.

"W-Why? " I stammered, he smiled so my heart beat faster.

"How are you, did your mom slap you yesterday, I wanted to explain but you smiled, I feel like it's okay so I'll leave" He said

"There is nothing, everything is fine" I said.

"This is it" He said then handed me an envelope, I stuck the hair that had been falling out to my ear first. Then I opened it and my eyes widened to see the thousands inside it.

"What is it?" I asked in shock.

"You told me yesterday why you took the offer, so that's it" he said, that's 50,000 I hope it fits, I just took it from dad, I said I'll buy something" he smiled.

"No need, it's embarrassing--" He cut me off.

"It's a debt, so you just have to pay it when you can" He said so I didn't refuse.

"Thank you, I will pay" I said smiling.

"Let's go in together" he said so we went to the room together.
