Spellbound with you

My hands and my legs are cuff with chains, a collar was clasped around my neck with a roll of chains. I stood before the Betta's daughter with my face down. This is not the first time I'll be facing situations like this. I've never been mated to royalty before. Being a male omega in Harlet moon pack, I've become a laughing stock and a shame to my parents.

Every full moon the moon goddess plays with my emotions. Yes! That's what it is, by constantly giving me a mate knowing I'd be rejected. I could hear my mother's whimpers from the back as her heart yearns out for me not knowing what punishment awaits me this time for being mated to the Betta's daughter.

It's the night of the full moon when she angrily discovers she's my mate, the celebration has already been put to a stop by the Beta's daughter. She ordered that my hands and legs get chained. She also ordered a collar around my neck. Right now I stood before the whole pack like a slave, I never asked for any of this to happen, I wasn't the moon goddess why I'm I being punished for it?.

My clothes have been ripped to pieces, I watch angrily as the Betta's daughter orders for them to be completely ripped off. Tears blurred my eyes, I could do nothing. Memories flash as I remembered how my mother used her last savings to get me those clothes. I wanted to scream at them, to punch their faces, But yet again! I can't.

I stood only in my boxers and bare chest. I know I've faced rejection, but this seems like the worst. Fire was lightened in a circle as the Betta's daughter commanded me to stand in the middle of the burning fire. I had no option, it's not like my opinion mattered. I turn and stare at my mom, I know she can't take it

"No.....no....please don't!!!!!" My mom screamed out as she fell to her knees before the Betta's daughter.

"How dare you interrupt my ritual" She roars at my mother, I bailed my fist and clench my teeth in anger

"Please....you can do anything to me but spare my baby boy he's too young for that" My mother cried, I watched as the Betta's daughter pushed her aside, and mom stumbled to the floor. I couldn't hold it anymore as anger surged through me

"How dare you push my mother like that?" I growl and battled to be free from the chains on my hands,

"I'd like to see you try anything funny" The Betta's daughter smirked at me.

I know I'm weak but I can't stand it when my mother is being maltreated. I watch as my father came and help my mother up, he look at me and whispered

"Son, let it be" I could read his lips, I sighed and became still

"Increase the fire!!!;" She thundered and the fire around me was increased,

"I will be strong for myself and my parents, I would never show them that I'm weak" I continue to chant in my head, my wolf whimpers, he has been quiet since. I know he's in pain.

As she walked and stopped before me, meters away from the fire, she raised her right hand to the sky. Lightning begins to strike as thunder clashes, the ground shakes. Everybody was confused, even the Betta's daughter. I watched as she brought down her hands. Earthquakes begin to shake as the heavy and mighty wind begins to blow, chaos sets in as everybody wants to run to safety. But the Alpha held them still.

Ramblings and groans of the forest inhabitants could be heard, raindrops began to fall, but after some minutes they became mighty as their droplets shook the ground. The royalties were in shade, they have no reasons to run for safety.

The burning fires have been lit out by the rain, "No.........!!!" The Betta's daughter screamed in anger as she stormed towards me, neglecting the rain, the thunder clashes, and the strikes of lightning. She stood before me, with her angry gaze boring a hole in my soul.

People were confused about the happenings as things like this has never happened before,

She raised her right hand to the sky this time, her eyes has turned to red as her body shook in terror

"I Princess Shebba of Harlet Moon Pack Reject you Eden Arastol as my mate, I strip myself of every mate bond and connection I have with you, I reject you a thousand times" She ended dangerously and brought down her hand. Pain shook through me as I felt electrocuted, I fell on my knees in pain, as the mate bond stripped and left my body. Only my groans can be heard.

My face was forcefully held up, as I look to see its the Betta's daughter

"In your next life, never come as a weakling, I hate your existence" She snarled, and pushed me backward as I fell down.

"I banish and bound you from stepping your feet into Harlet Moon Pack or else you face death"

"No....you... can't...please" My mother cried and made to walk towards her when I blink my eye at her stopping her as I shake my head negatively.

"Take him away.........!!!" She roared, and just like that, I was being dragged using the collar on my neck. My whole body swept the bare floor, I wanted to cry but I promised myself not to..I promised myself to be a better person and come back for my parents. My body hits and scratches on hard surfaces, injuries, pains, and bruises fill my body. They have been dragging me for hours, I felt like dying, my body shook in pain as I found myself running out of oxygen.

I wanted to give in to the darkness, but no! The cries of my mother and the pains of my father wouldn't allow me, it's like they are begging me to be strong to fight the pains and come out strong, they wanted me to endure everything and be strong for them, I could feel my mother yearning out my name to be strong as her only seed.

At that point, I wanted to fight fate itself and be alive, but suddenly I felt my body being lifted and the next was me sinking deep into the beneath of an ocean.

"This is beyond me, I love you mom and dad" I muttered and closed my eyes.

I forced my eyes to open, I was surprised to see myself lying on the bare ground, I stood up in a haste and looked around the environment, I was surprised to see the ocean meters away from me. "How is this possible?" I ask myself, I look down at my boxer to see it's long dry already. I signed.

I don't know where to go from here, I could imagine the pain my mother is feeling now. She would probably think I'm dead, but I promise to come back when everything is fine. Surprisingly the collar and chains are now gone, I just have to find the nearest pack and settle in.

I stood up and dust my body, I only have my boxers on. I look crazy right now, I pray I find someone soon. This place looks deserted. I started walking to an unknown destination praying for an angel to pop up from somewhere. I was already getting tired because I've been walking for hours. I was about to give up when I sighted a big pack from afar. I was filled with joy, with determination I gathered up strength and hastened my steps using my last strength.

Finally I stood before the big gate that was surrounded with guards all through, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the place that I did not hear the honking of cars behind me

"Do you want to get in trouble?" An old woman asks, dragging me aside from behind.

"No" I muttered, lowering my gaze on the floor as she stared at me weirdly, and I knew it's because I was only in my boxers. I saw the first car in the roll, stopped just before me, the tinted glass whine down revealing a lady or should I say a goddess

"You're lucky I'm in a good mood, filthy thing" She sneered at me disgustingly before the glass was rolled up, the gate was already open they drove in and the gate was closed.

"Come with me" The old woman said and shook her head before walking ahead, while I followed. We didn't walk for long before we stopped in front of a not so fancy apartment.

"This is where I live," She answered, guessing that's what I wanted to ask.

"It's nice" I nodded my head

"Come inside" She urged me. She opened the door and we entered the house. I look around, the house might not look so big, but it's okay, neat and comfortable for living. I look at the sofa but decide to continue standing since I've not been asked to sit.

"Have a sit" She gestured towards the sofa

"Thank you," I muttered while sitting down.

"You need a proper bath and a nice meal, wait here let me set a bath for you"

"Thanks" I muttered meekly, and watched as she left.

I wasn't used to people caring for me except for my parents, what if she learns of my identity and sends me out? I don't have anywhere to go.

"No, I can't take such a risk" I concluded and decided to hide my real identity from her. I think this new place might actually be a new beginning for me.

"Come with me" A voice snapped me out of my thoughts, I looked up to see the old woman before me. I stood up and followed her, she entered a room

"That's the bathroom, I already run you a bath so go in and wear this cloth after bathing, they are my late husband's clothe and I'm sure it will size you

"Ohh" I muttered and nodded my head,

"Excuse me?" I said when she started walking off, she halted on her step and turn

"Thank you" I muttered

"Call me Nana" She smile

"Thanks Nana"

"What's your name"

"Eden" I replied shortly, praying she don't ask my last name

"And......?" She drawled with raised eyebrows, but I lowered my gaze to the floor, praying inwardly that she understands me.

"Alright Eden have your bath and come out, let me get you something to eat" She concluded, and smiled shortly before walking out. I exhaled with relief

I discarded my already worn out boxers in the bin and entered the shower, I don't know for how long I stood under the shower, but when I came out with a towel wrapped around my waist I felt peace of mind. I stood before the full length mirror, people I've always admired my handsome nature and maybe that's the only good thing nature gave. I was regarded as the handsome Omega in Harlet moon pack. My mother has always been proud of me.

I signed and exhaled remembering my parents, but then I need to put all of my past behind and stay good for them. I will need to go back someday.

"Come out and let's have dinner if you're done" I heard Nana's voice

"I will be out in a minute" I muttered and took one last glance at myself in the mirror before walking out. I walk into the living room, I look around for her but she's nowhere in sight

"Come over here dear" I heard her voice and saw her sitting at the extreme end that looks like dining with food set on the table. I walk towards her

"Have a seat" She said to me

"Thank you" I muttered and sat down by the side. The aroma of the meal hit my nose, my stomach rumbled

"Bad timing'' Liam my wolf groan, and I smile finally he talked

" Dig in," Nana said to me and I smiled. I picked up my spoon and started churning down the sumptuous meal. I finished my meal and exhaled finally feeling good. I raised my head and saw Nana staring at me with a face full of smiles.

"Hope you enjoyed it" She asked in motherly tone, with her face filled with concern

"Yeah thanks Nana" I smiled shyly.

"Can you now tell me about yourself?" She asked, I looked away immediately praying inwardly that she stop

''It's okay if you don't want to talk about it, feel free to tell me whenever you want to"

"Thanks" I muttered finally looking up to her

"This is my house, my husband died years ago and you might be wondering, yes! I have no kids" She concluded but I could feel a hint of pain in that

"It's okay'' I said to her in a comforting manner.

" Are you from Blackheart?" She ask

"What's Blackheart?" I asked back

"Guess you're not from here then..." She smile and then it dawn on me that this place is Blackheart

"You will follow me to the the Supreme Alpha's mansion tomorrow, I work there''

"What!!!?" My eyes widened

"You mean the Supreme Alpha lives in this city" I ask becoming scared already

"Yes and you met her already''

"No I haven't" I denied immediately, not understand her

"Don't worry till tomorrow" She wink at me, packing up the plate, but I rushed towards her and took the plate from her

"I will do it" I muttered

"But......?" She meant to argue

"I'm used to things like this Nana"

"Alright have a goodnight sleep" She said and touch my cheeks in a tender manner

"You too" I smile and walk off.

Last night was awesome! I had one of the best sleep of my life, and right now we are on our way to the Supreme Alpha's mansion, I can't deny I'm not nervous, my heart has been palpitating though I manage to put on a smile. The number stopped before the huge gate and we climb down, Nana paid him

"Let go" She said and we started walking in, the guards didn't interrupt or stop us, guess they recognized Nana, we entered and for one minutes I zoned out.

"This is paradise....." I marveled staring at the beauty of the mansion before me

"Stop staring you don't want to get in trouble" Old Nana snapped me out of my thought

"Sorry was just lost for a second" I apologize

''It's okay let's go" She said, but then she stopped and turned towards me

"Follow me closely" She instructed and I nodded my head. I was wowed by the number of guards and maids that were all walking about, it's already making me wonder how huge this mansion is....it's like a whole different town.

We were now inside the mansion, I was trying my best to keep track with Nana since many people keeps walking about, suddenly I bumped into a lady

"Watch your way" She snarled harshly

"Sorry" I muttered and when I looked around, Nana was out of sight. I couldn't see her, my heart started racing remembering her warnings. I became confused, not knowing what to do, after much thought I decided to start searching for her. I followed a narrowed hallway I guessed she must have walk through,

I started walking through the hallway but it seemed too quiet like there's no soul here. I wanted to turn back but something kept pushing me to go further, like I'm not in control of myself. I finally stopped seeing the stairs on the left. I don't know where I got the courage from. I started climbing the stairs. It stopped before a wide passage and before it was an elevator. I pressed on it and the elevator opened, I entered and it closed. I don't know where I was going, but the elevator stopped and beep it opened, taking that as a clue I walked out.

I saw a transparent door before me, I don't know but somehow I wanted to see how the inside looks like. I took a close walk to the door, filled with curiosity I pushed the door open and entered, "Dang!" I was taken aback, this is heaven. Everything here is sparkling white and speaks of wealth, this place screams money.

I wanted to touch the white glass table in the middle when suddenly, I felt chills run down my spine. I felt like a pair of eyes was watching me. I bailed my fist as I suddenly became nervous, slowly I started turning and boom! The lady from yesterday. She look emotionless as she stares at me

"How dare a thing like you step your filthy feet into my territory?"

I swear, I could feel bits of sweat trickle down from my forehead. Her mere presence alone emits thousands of different emotions that are very hard to understand. In all my twenty-five years of leaving I could swear this is the first time I felt like peeing on myself, Yes! I could imagine she isn't the kind of lady I should stumble across, following the series of warning rumors I heard about her before.

"I can see you're deaf or maybe you've lost your ability to comprehend what I ask, so I will air it out again" She spoke calmly but dangerously. Her gaze pierced into mine like a sharp blade ready to cut me into shreds.

My palms already turned sweaty, my whole system is filled up with tension, fear of the unknown engulfed me and clouded my sense of reasoning

"What are you doing in my territory, do you have the slightest idea of what I'm capable of doing to you!?....." She snapped and banged her right hand on the walls, I staggered back as the whole place shook in terror, her eyes turned red, and her whole body screams of nothing but danger. I wasn't thinking straight, I did the only thing I could think of at the moment and that is

"Run....run....run........." Liam my wolf screams out

"Sorry.........." I screamed and took to my heels like a crazy psycho. I don't know how but just like a flash, I was already out of her vicinity entirely and in a whole different place, I was still wondering how I got there when I felt a tap on my shoulder, out of fear I flinched and turned immediately, but became calmed when I saw its Nana

"Eden, I've been looking for you, where have you been?" She asked worriedly, her wrinkled face now on full display. My heart palpitate, as I felt her motherly love and care for me, I could already picture my mother in her

"Sorry Nana, I lost you by mistake," I said humbly looking at the floor, guess I stressed her

''It's okay, let's pack up the vegetables since there ain't much work today"

"Ohh....I thought we are going to be here till dawn"

"Yeah...it should have been that way, tomorrow is the full moon ritual, so we're advised to go home and rest and prepare because from tomorrow it gets tiring till after the festival"

"Ohhhh...never knew you people celebrate that here" I muttered, remembering all my misfortune that happened on this day.

"You should be excited my boy, who knows you might meet your mate" Nana giggled and tickled me lightly making me laugh out loud

"I doubt that"

"Well you shouldn't, the moon goddess has her ways" She winks at me. I blush wondering how she manages to be all lively even without a family.

"Stop thinking my boy, let's go" She dragged me forward, I only pray nothing happens at this festival, I just want to leave normally here

"Dear moon goddess please, I don't want a mate in my life, so don't worry about me, my poor heart has suffered enough and can't take in more sufferings" I concluded my prayers,

We are now in the packing store, as I help Nana to pack up the vegetables, I guess it's going to be used for the festival. We were still packing when suddenly I heard ranting

"Why is an old woman like you so fucking slow, we don't pay you to lazy around" I heard a voice shouting, I was becoming restless, so I left the portion Nana told me to pack and stepped out, but my legs were glued on the floor when I saw a woman in her mid-thirties, harassing Nana.

I was filled with anger and wanted nothing but to teach the mother fucker a lesson. I don't know when my legs reach her, I flung her hand away from Nana's body

''How could you be so disrespectful!?" I asked angrily

"Eden....?" Nana tried to hold me but I moved away

"How could you talk to her like that? She's old enough to be your mother for peter's sake" I queried throwing my hands in the air

"Are you done?" She asked like I never said anything

"Well I guess you're then...old woman this will be my last time warning you, next time, I won't be doing that" She eyed me disgustingly and walked off.

I turned to Nana to see her in tears, but she wiped it off immediately I turn

"Nana, why are you crying?" I ask moving closer to her,

"I'm not, just that these silly tears refuse to mind their business" She smile trying to cover it up, I sighed deciding not to push further,

''Come here" I took her hand and sat her down by the corner

"But we still need to pack, ......"

"Shhh....." I hush her calmly,

"Don't worry let me finish up, just rest and wait for me" I smile at her

"Alright dear" She smiled and ruffled my hair, I went back and started packing up

I finished packing the vegetables minutes ago and right now we're on our way out of the mansion when suddenly the whole hall that we are walking through turned chaos but silence followed as everybody stood still, only the clicking sound of heels can be heard

I could feel Nana's body shaking beside me, I kept on wondering what's happening, out of curiosity I raised my head and was shocked to get a glimpse of the Supreme Alpha standing some meters away from us, my heartbeat accelerated

She looked around frantically, I hid immediately

"How dare someone bring in a Nuisance into my Mansion?''

" Dang!" I heard a loud bang in my head, I bailed my fist and squeeze my eyes praying it isn't what I'm thinking

"Lock up the whole doors, I've some unfinished business" She smirked evilly making my heart reverberate.
