Snow gazing at her notebook, a sigh escaping her lip, she felt safe and calm as this was the only place she had peace in, the library.
Every other student was busy in the cafeteria having lunch but here she was reading and not touching a meal, although her stomach grumbled in hunger, she just had to stay still.
His chilly look still frightened her, if she made a step, she would be bullied and only end up as always, either injured or hospitalized .
She was just fifteen years old but studying among older wolves, well it isn't easy, the mocking gaze from others and also Logan's bullying was enough to kill her.
"Look who we have here, if it isn't the lowly omega" Tiffany said, her hands folded under her boobs and a smirk on her lip.
She is Logan's fuck toy and basically known as the next Luna, she was the girl he had been with the longest.
"Please I don't want trouble" Snow muttered and Tiffany laughed, then glared at her.
"Did she just order me" she asked her friends, Valerie and Rose.
"She did" Valerie replied and Snow sucked in her button lip, her hands trembling from fear and her gaze on the dusty floor.
"I didn't mean that" she muttered lowly, her voice barely a whisper
"We should teach her a lesson, what do you think Luna?" Rose added, her gaze shimmering and waiting for an answer from Tiffany.
"Hmmm, no fun" she stated.
Tiffany being all mighty about herself made others address her as Luna, after all she was the only girl in Logan's life, the Alpha's son.
"Hey omega" Tiffany yelled and Snow trembled, sweat fickling down her face and her lip glued together.
"Go get me an espresso, and it better be outside of school. I don't care if you sneak out, and don't get caught, if you do, it ten times the pain you will receive when you get back" Tiffany warned and flashed a smile at Snow.
A smile that sent shivers down her spine "okay" she murmured and stood up to her feet, her legs rushing out the library, she could basically feel her heart beating in fear and paranoia.
Snow didn't want to hurt anyone, she basically likes keeping to herself and hardly tells her parents how she's bullied at school.
"You have fifteen minutes" Valerie yelled and Snow's eyes widened. Fifteen minutes was too little for an average wolf like her, especially when she was wolf less yet.
Snow knew she had to sneak out of the school and use her savings to pay for the espresso.
She walked to the school back gate, her step gentle and quiet so as not to attract anyone attention
Her moves smooth and slit as this wasn't her first time sneaking out, Tiffany basically made her a stealth dog, who sneaks out, she usually was lucky as no one would catch her, but this time luck wasn't on Snow's side.
"What are you doing?" Imogen asked, her gaze fixed on Snow's extended leg and a furrowed knowing brow on her face.
"Nothing" Snow muttered, her voice barely a whisper and her hands entwined with each other.
Imogen gaze roaming round Snow, she had seen this girl being bullied by Logan and his disgusting girlfriend.
She noticed the mark on her neck and a frown settled on her face. "Who hit you" she asked and Snow froze, her thoughts trailing to weeks ago when Logan had thrown a book at her, the scar still left on her neck.
It had hurt, but being good at hiding her feelings she kept it a secret, it still hurt till today. She didn't say a word, basically trying to avoid the question.
Imogen frowned, she had guessed it was Logan, the Alpha son who derived joy in bullying others especially her, Snow.
She was little and timid, tends to let other get on her nerves and not say a word, takes unfair treatment and still smiled.
She had always disliked Logan especially because of his bullying nature, She keeps wondering when they would ever grow up from their bullying shit.
Imogen gritted her teeth and clenched her fist. She had watched Snow take thousand of hits and had saved her a lot but those bullies still were the same.
She was going to end things here, even if it meant making Tiffany lose her teeth.
"Don't go anywhere" Imogen stated and Snow nodded her head positively, as she didn't want to sneak out anyways, but the invading thought of Imogen next move invaded her mind.
"Where are you heading to?" she asked, her tone soft and shy.
"Just stay out of sight, no matter what" Imogen added and walked away, her words piquing Snow interest and she heaved a sigh, she just didn't want issues.
Imogen walked into the library, the intense gaze of the girls on her, they had thought she was someone else.
Tiffany rolled her eyes on sighting Imogen, the troublemaker who always found a way to disrespect her and Logan, she was an annoying rebel.
"What this time" Tiffany lazily said and Imogen crossed her hands.
"Haven't you had enough" She questioned and Tiffany yawned then glared at her.
"Five minutes to talk, I wouldn't listen to your bullshit for long" she stated, making Valerie and Rose smirk at her.
"Wipe that smirk off your faces, puppets" Imogen blurted and both girls frowned, she averted her gaze to Tiffany.
"It's enough you had your fun, let the omega be" she half yelled and Tiffany frowned, she stood up from the seat and approached Imogen.
"You should talk to your Luna with respect, or should I humble you" she warned and Imogen chuckled softly.
"We have a Luna and that's surely not you. You know what, Logan's gonna dump you like every other girl and when he does that, I will be the first to laugh in your face" She stated and Tiffany frowned.
She raised her hand in the air to slap Imogen but her hands were caught midway.
"Fake Luna mind who you want to touch, I will fucking break your hands" Imogen warned and Tiffany gritted her teeth in anger.
She would make this bitch beg for mercy, and she would make Logan help her with that, after all having power was really good especially when it comes to being with the Alpha son.
Snow patiently waits for Imogen to arrive, hearing loud heavy footsteps behind her.
"Imog....... Her words cut short, as her eyes trembled slightly on sighting the figure staring at her.
Her hand slumped in fright and shock.
Logan gazed at Snow, his eyes shimmering with malice, and Snow froze in fear. The closer he walked toward her, the more she backed away.
Her heartbeat quickened and sweat coated her palms. She could feel her blood rushing, her brain screaming at her to run-but her body refused to obey.
She should run, escape, do something, but she felt rooted to the spot. She tried to move but couldn't.
She swallowed a lump in her throat as Logan's hungry eyes bored into her. They were filled with a twisted desire-to see her break.
"Are you scared?" he asked. Snow trembled, her shoulders slightly raised in fear.
"Please don't hurt me," she whispered.
Finally, her legs obeyed, breaking free from the invisible grip that held her in place, and..."
her body responded. She turned and ran, fleeing the scene with a pounding heart. Logan's angry gaze followed her retreating form, and he licked his lips.
He watched her disappear around the corner, then smirked.
"Those legs of hers need to be broken. She's getting bold," he muttered, a surge of bloodlust and screams flashing through his mind.
His wolf growled at the thought. *Alphas don't hurt the weak*, Lycan reminded him.
"Well, I'm the one in control, not you," Logan muttered, and his wolf growled in disapproval-but he ignored it completely.
Snow came to a stop, panting and trying to catch her breath, when she suddenly heard a scream from the library. Her heart skipped in panic.
The scream caught everyone's attention, and students rushed toward the library.
The scene that met them was chaotic-Valarie and Rose were on the floor, clothes torn, bruises blooming across their skin. It looked like Imogen had gone full wolf on them.
Her grey wolf form stood snarling over the girls, teeth bared and terrifying. Tiffany stood to the side where she'd been thrown, watching Imogen deal with her girls. She didn't want to get involved-and there was no remorse in her eyes as she watched them get mauled.
Seconds ago...
Imogen had slammed Tiffany against the wall with such force it cracked. Tiffany began bleeding instantly, her blood dripping onto the floor. Students stepped back; the energy radiating from her was deadly and intense.
Blood streamed from her nose, and her furious eyes locked onto Imogen's wolf. She let out a laugh-one that sounded maniacal.
Her glare bore into Imogen's soul, but her nostrils caught another scent: Snow's.
An evil thought crept into her mind, and without hesitation, she turned and punched Snow in the face. Snow stumbled back and fell to the floor.
It took a moment for her to process what had happened, her nose was bleeding, her hand clutching the injury.
"Look what you made me do," Tiffany said with a mocking smile directed at Imogen.
A kick slammed into Snow's stomach, and she yelped in pain. She tried to comprehend the situation, but Tiffany gave her no time.
"Weren't you protecting her? Now she's the one in pain. Payback feels good, doesn't it?" Tiffany shouted, kicking again and again until Snow coughed up blood.
Everyone stared at Snow in horror, but no one intervened. Tiffany was feared-not just because she was ruthless, but because her father was a Beta. No one dared oppose her.
Imogen shifted back to her human form, her naked body shimmering under the lights of the hallway.
No one reacted in shock-transforming naked was normal among them.
"Let her go," Imogen yelled.
Seconds later,
Tiffany's scream echoed through the hall. Hair was yanked, and the painful tearing of her scalp satisfied Imogen. A punch to Tiffany's nose followed, and she yelled in pain-but retaliated immediately. A violent fight erupted.
"What's happening here?!" came the cold, commanding voice of the principal.
Both girls froze. All eyes turned toward the principal, whose expression was anything but pleased.
PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE
"Explain!" Mrs. Serene yelled, her voice sharp enough to make both girls flinch.
"We... well..." Rose stammered, but Tiffany's warning glare silenced her.
"She started it!" Rose suddenly blurted, and Mrs. Serene narrowed her eyes.
"Young lady, explain yourself," she said sternly, now looking at Imogen. Imogen's face twisted with frustration as she barked a laugh.
"Are you seriously reprimanding me right now? She bullied and beat up an Omega!" Imogen yelled, voice rising.
"Miss, you have anger issues. Lower your voice," Serene replied calmly, but firmly.
Imogen sighed and frowned. "You know what? Just be biased like everyone else in this school," she muttered.
"Miss Imogen-cleaning duty. Girls' toilets," Serene announced. "And you, Miss Tiffany-detention!"
Tiffany's eyes widened. "You can't do that to me! I'm your niece!" she protested.
But Serene's glare silenced her. Grinding her teeth, Tiffany glared at Imogen. This was all her fault. Her thoughts drifted to Snow-she hated her. Hated the innocence, the softness, the strange power that radiated from her.
She growled quietly, vowing to deal with Snow-but first, Logan needed to be involved.
************
Snow shifted uncomfortably on the infirmary bed. Her body ached all over, and a strange chill began to creep through her veins.
It was like her whole body was freezing. The room's temperature dropped.
"So cold," she whispered through clenched teeth.
Her jaws ground tightly together. She shivered, her skin paling, and a low groan slipped from her lips.
The cold spread deeper, seeping into her bloodstream. Her powers were acting up again, just like they always did.
A sharp, stabbing pain sliced through her, and a muffled scream escaped. Her hands trembled, and a cold breath left her mouth in a visible puff of air.
Her hair turned a silvery-white. Bones shifted beneath her skin-groaning and snapping back into place-and another soft groan escaped her.
The door slammed shut, wind bursting into the room like a storm. The windows rattled, reacting to the energy in the air. Her hands turned pale.
She brushed against the table-and it instantly froze over, though she didn't notice.
The pain became unbearable and Snow screamed.
Then Silence....
Dry, hollow silence. No footsteps. No breathing. Nothing.
Only white specks glowing in the dark.
Her eyes snapped open, revealing glowing snow-white irises.
Her eyes snapped open, revealing glowing snow-white irises.
*****************
Snow's head throbbed painfully as she placed a hand on it.
It felt like her skull was splitting in two. Her vision blurred, and as she scanned the room, she realized she was in the school infirmary. It was probably evening-already getting dark outside. She could hear the distant chatter of students leaving school.
Snow winced at the noise-the clatter of voices, the sizzling oil from the cafeteria, the creaking desks, the bursts of laughter. Everything sounded painfully loud. She covered her ears and gritted her teeth.
From the overwhelming noise and sensations, she knew instantly, she had transformed. Her powers had taken control again. Her gaze shifted to the desk beside her, and she shuddered.
The table was coated in crystallized ice, shimmering beneath the dim lights. Snow bit her lower lip. She had frozen it without even realizing.
She needed to isolate herself from everyone... before she hurt someone.
The creak of the door made her stiffen for a few seconds.
Logan walked in. He had sensed a strange energy and a wave of coldness emanating from the infirmary.
His eyes scanned the room, though he didn't see anyone. Still, his Alpha instincts screamed that something wasn't right.
When his gaze landed on the iced-over table, his frown deepened. He clearly remembered it being wooden-so how had it turned into solid crystal ice?
Another creak echoed, and Logan turned toward the door-unaware that Snow had slipped out through the window while he was distracted.
Snow exhaled sharply as she ran from the infirmary, her hoodie pulled over her head, a face mask covering the lower half of her face. She kept her head low so no one would catch a glimpse of her glowing white eyes.
Her hair had changed too-stark white, shining under the faint streetlights-making her look like a dangerously beautiful snow queen.
She had always wondered about this strange power. She was supposed to be an omega-weak, insignificant. Yet strange, unexplainable things kept happening around her.
She groaned in frustration as her stomach rumbled. She was starving. And worse-she couldn't even leave school. Students were still everywhere. It was too risky for anyone to see her like this.
She decided to sneak into the gym, where wolves trained after awakening their beasts: their wolf forms-while the wolf-less watched from the sides. She still remembered Tiffany winning a race once, soaking up all the praise. They also held combat classes there sometimes.
The only person who had ever seen her in this state was Ace, her best friend-her ever-doting protector. She missed him.
He had been away for a while. Though he was supposed to return soon, she wasn't sure exactly when. Thinking of him made her sigh.
Snow lay back on one of the gym benches, staring up at the ceiling. A faint smile tugged at her lips. She loved the serene silence, the cool, undisturbed atmosphere.
The more she thought, the more tangled her emotions became. Lately, she'd been hearing strange voices in her head-soft whispers, fleeting and foreign, as if from something or someone unknown.
But then, a sudden sound of footsteps snapped her back to alertness. Snow's eyes narrowed.
She inhaled sharply...
And half-yelled, "Come out!"
A low chuckle echoed in the room, and a figure emerged from the shadows.
"Ace!" Snow gasped.
It was her best friend. Wait-wasn't he supposed to return later?
Ace smiled as he approached. Snow could already smell his familiar, intoxicating scent-strong and masculine, with something dark lurking beneath.
"Missed me?" he teased.
Snow rolled her eyes. "I didn't," she said flatly.
Ace laughed, pinching her cheek before settling beside her.
"You transformed again," he said quietly, his voice gentle.
Snow frowned. "Painful as always," she murmured.
The powers had started manifesting on her fifteenth birthday, and she still couldn't control them.
"Tell your family," Ace suggested.
Snow's expression darkened immediately. That was the last thing she would ever do.
An omega with powers like hers... it wasn't natural. It was dangerous. Her family had adopted her, raised her with love-she couldn't risk losing them. She would never forgive herself if she hurt them.
They had taken her in as a baby, treated her like their own. She didn't even care about her birth parents anymore-they were gone anyway.
"Are you afraid they won't want you anymore?" Ace asked softly.
Snow's eyes clouded with emotion.
Every time she'd been bullied or mistreated, her family's love had unknowingly kept her grounded. She couldn't lose that. She couldn't bear them looking at her with fear... or worse, hatred.
She exhaled shakily. Ace, understanding her turmoil, gently patted her head.
"It's okay," he whispered.
Snow gave him a small, weak smile. He cupped her cheek gently, but his eyes suddenly sharpened-sensing someone approaching.
The heavy stomp of shoes and a strong male scent filled the air.
"Later," Ace said, and in the blink of an eye, he vanished.
"Why are you not home yet?!" a voice barked.
Snow flinched. Asher. Her Gamma brother.
Asher's fierce expression immediately softened when he saw her. Panic flooded Snow's chest.
'My eyes... my hair...'
She instinctively backed deeper into the shadows, praying he wouldn't notice.
But Asher stepped forward and took her hand.
"Why are you backing away from me?" he asked, confused.
Snow tried to yank her hand back, but Asher was strong-he easily pulled her into the light.
She squeezed her eyes shut, bracing herself.
Her white hair glistened under the faint light and Asher's eyes widened.
"Your hair is..."
