Chapter 1 1

*Andrea*

I was extremely nervous.

I tapped my cell phone and glanced down at my phone, realizing I was only a minute or so away from my boyfriend's place. Releasing an unsteady breath, I put my phone back into the front pocket of my hoodie, pushing my hair behind my ears and looking around. It somehow felt like my reason for going to Lucas's place was floating boldly above my head for the world to see.

I pressed my lips together, bracing myself.

Lucas's house came into view. The word house was putting it mildly. Lucas lived in fucking paradise. His father was an extremely well known multi billionaire and though I had never met the man, I'd seen his face splashed a couple of times on TV and newspapers. Plus, he was practically never around. Which was probably the reason why Lucas had chosen to live in one of the penthouses in front of the actual mansion his father owned.

There was no reason for him to live somewhere else.

His father had more than enough. Lucas and I had met at one of the diners where I'd worked in the past as a waitress. I'd been about to serve him and his equally rich group of friends when someone had bumped into me from behind, causing me to spill the content of the tray right on his expensive shirt.

And that hadn't even been the worst part.

I'd equally lost my footing, landing right on top of him, and flashing his friends my ass in the process. Since the manager of the diner had made all the younger waitresses like me wear extreme short uniforms to attract the male audience, it hadn't been a surprise to hear his friends whistle at the view. Hurrying to quickly tidy up the mess I'd made, I'd turned back and bent to pick up the items that fell, giving Lucas an even nicer view of my ass.

And I'd been wearing a thong.

Luckily, Lucas wasn't as much of a rich asshole as his friends and he'd immediately asked me to stand back up, signaling some other older waiter to clear up my mess as he steered me to the washroom. It had been awkward at first but we'd both managed to clean up as much as we could with our clothes on, making occasional eye contact and small talk from across the washroom.

I'd been surprised when he kept frequenting the diner after that.

He always made sure I served his table and after a few weeks, we became friends. A few more weeks after that, he asked me out and I accepted because, why not? He was rich and extremely good looking with a perfect face, nice jawline and sexy bedroom eyes. But more than that, I especially loved his cute boyish smile. And Lucas was almost always smiling whenever he was around me.

I finally got to his penthouse, pausing in front of the door and taking in a steadying breath. We'd been dating for six months now and in those six months we'd never had sex. I hadn't been ready to lose my virginity yet and Lucas had respected that fact. We'd made out and I'd even given him blowjobs a couple of times but we had never had penetrative sex. Even from behind. And not once had he pressured me or made me feel silly for waiting.

All that was going to be in the past now.

Because after turning eighteen two months ago, I was finally ready to have sex with him. I'd even skipped going to work today because I'd been too excited to let him know and too eager to have my first time with him. I wanted him to be the one to take my virginity. I'd been able to get past all the alarm and security systems up to this point because Lucas had gotten my details installed so I could have free entry and exit. I touched my index finger to the final fingerprint security device on the front door, waiting for the light chime I knew was bound to follow.

There you are, I thought after hearing it.

I gripped the door knob and twisted the door, pushing it open and immediately stepping inside. It wasn't weird for the alarm system to be turned on despite the fact that he was inside the house. Lucas was the son of a well known man and that automatically made him well known by default. He couldn't risk being inside of his own house and having burglars breaking in.

The house was as quiet as it always was. My phone beeped once and I took it out of my pocket to read the text from my best friend slash roommate, Alison. She'd sent me a good luck heart sticker. I reacted to the sticker and turned off my phone, putting it in the back pocket of my jeans. I fisted and unfisted my hands, taking in a deep breath and then heading upstairs to his room. It was late in the morning but if I knew Lucas then he was still lazing around in bed.

I walked silently towards the door, all the while trying to shake off the nerves knotting themselves in my stomach. I was prepared for this. I'd even gotten myself a sexy red Victoria secret lingerie which I was currently wearing beneath my clothes. Alison had made sure I was as prepared as I needed to be seeing as it was going to be something I wouldn't ever forget in a hurry, if at all.

Because everyone knew how important a girl's first time was to her.

I paused in my step, hearing faint noises coming from Lucas's room door. Frowning slightly, I wondered if he was playing his loud music already. It was a little earlier than he usually did. I took even more silent steps towards him, straining to make out the noises I was hearing and hoping that it wasn't what I was thinking. I got to his room and paused right outside of it, carefully placing my ear on his room door and waiting to pick up the sound once more.

A loud high pitched moan filled the air.

My heart sank to the pit of my stomach as I felt a surge of something hot and painful pierce my chest. My eyes widened as I took a horrifying step away from the door, hoping that my ears were somehow failing me. My heart began racing in my chest but for all the wrong reasons. No no no, I changed silently in my head like a mantra. It couldn't possibly be what it sounded like. There was no way Lucas was cheating.

He couldn't possibly do that to me.

I felt my eyes sting when I heard a low masculine groan, followed by another high pitched moan. "Fucckkkk," A woman screamed from behind the door, her voice dripping with pleasure. I heard a loud roar in my ears and it took a while for me to realize it was the sound of my own heart shattering at my feet. I felt a tear slide down my eye as I heard the sound of the bed squeaking. Gathering courage, I silently twisted his door open and stepped inside.

To confirm my worst fear.

Lucas was in fact cheating on me. He was lying on his back with some thin redhead riding him. I brought a hand to my mouth as I stared in horror as she pulled her hair with one hand, the other seemingly gripp her boobs. She had her back to me so I couldn't see her face. Just the picture of her bouncing wildly on my boyfriend's cock.

I doubled over in pain.

To think that I'd been planning to lose my virginity to him. The thought sent a fresh wave of hurt rolling through me. I must have made a sound then because they both paused and then quickly sprang away from each other. I sniffed and angrily wiped my tears away, not wanting anyone to see me breakdown. They both reached for the white bedsheet, covering themselves with it.

"Andrea, what are you doing here?" Lucas asked confusedly. His eyes shot to the table calendar on his nightstand before coming back to meet mine. "You're supposed to be at work," He informed me. I couldn't stop the flare of anger that had my jaws clenching. Was that really the first thing he could bring himself to say in this situation? Was he even sorry that he had cheated on me?

That I had caught him fucking someone?

I moved my attention to the redhead beside him. She at least had the decency to look guilty, keeping her head down and refusing to meet my eyes. I felt stupid standing there in front of them and the condom I'd gotten from the store on my way here seemed to be burning a hole in the back pocket of my jeans. Another tear rolled down my face and this time I didn't have it in me to wipe it off.

I was too broken to pretend.

"We're done," I whispered shakily, sniffing and sobbing like a two year old. He tried to get a word out but I lifted my hand and stopped him. Shaking my head, I let him know I wasn't interested in whatever he had to say. He has completely broken my trust. I had to live with the image of the both of them firmly ingrained in my memory. "Have fun with your whore." I spat, turning and slamming the door behind me as I left the room.

I heard the light thud as he jumped down from the bed, followed by a string of cursing words as he probably looked around for his underwear but I took advantage of the time to get as far away from the room as possible, not ready for whatever bullshit story he had managed to come up with. I heard his voice as he called out for me, begging that I let him explain. If anything his voice made me want to put even more distance between us and so I did what life had taught me to do best.

I ran.

***

"Fuck, I'm so sorry Andrea," Alison whisperd, hugging me even more tightly as I sobbed into her chest. I was an absolute mess. My eyes had refused to stop tearing up and my nose was leaking but Alison - bless her heart - didn't seem to mind that I was ruining her favorite stay at home shirt. I heaved, squeezing my eyelids tightly as the image of Lucas and the redhead played over and over again in my mind. My sobs were loud and ugly and I just wanted to finally let it all out after barely being able to get myself back home without breaking down.

I calmed down after a few minutes.

Alison rubbed my back soothingly, mumurring soothing words into my ear as I gained control of my breathing. I hadn't even been able to tell her exactly what had happened but she'd gotten the gist. After a while, I leaned away from her, silently thankful that my tears had been the only thing to dampen her shirt. I took the tissue she handed me and then blew my nose into it, throwing it into the trash can by my feet.

She handed me another wad of tissue paper which I used to dry my tears, folding it and blowing my nose once more before trashing it. I reached for the water bottle lying on the couch and drank the entire water inside of it, dropping the bottle on the table and resting my head back against the couch. Alison stared at me in sympathy, smoothing her palm down my hair and giving me time to catch my breath.

"I thought he had been waiting for me," I confessed sadly, my voice breaking. "All this time I had thought he had been waiting for me," I bit the inside of my cheek angrily. "When he'd actually been fucking his cheap whores behind my back." I pressed a hand to my chest, trying to soothe the dull ache I could still feel. I still couldn't believe Lucas had done this to me. We'd been together for six months.

Had he been cheating the entire time?

Alison let me get a hold of myself as we stared silently at the television. The name Alejandro Costa was boldly written on the bottom. I picked up the TV remote control and increased the volume just in time to hear the journalist's report on whatever had happened. I craned my neck in surprise when I registered what she was saying.

Alejandro Costa had returned to Florida.

After almost a year of traveling and doing business with many other countries he had finally returned home to manage his companies and hopefully spend some time with his son. His son. Who just happened to be the asshole who had broken my heart to pieces and then thrown those pieces into my eyes. Alison and I watched as the media hounded him while he was making his way to his car after clearing his luggage.

Alison shook her head, letting out a little scoff as the news carried on. "It's a shame you can't go to bed with his dad instead to get back at him," She said with a light laugh, staring at the image of Alejandro on the screen. Her head tilted as her shoulder raised in a casual shrug, "I mean, he is sexy." She confessed laughing once more. Her laughter died down once she turned her attention to me and realized I wasn't taking her statement like the joke she had obviously meant for it to be.

I bit down on my lower lip.

"That's actually a good idea," I stated, meeting her gaze. I ignored the way her eyes widened in horror at my words, already coming up with the perfect revenge plan. "I'm going to lose my virginity to Alejandro Costa." Nothing was going to hurt more than Lucas finding out i fucked his dad and let him take my virginity. It was the perfect way to get back at him for hurting me so badly and treating me like a fool.

"Andrea, you can't be serious," Alison spluttered helplessly, looking like she wanted to physically shake some sense into me. I gave a flat look. The one that I knew would drive home the point that I was dead serious. Her mouth went agape and she was speechless for a few minutes before speaking. "He's way older than you."

It was my turn to shrug.

"I don't care," I stated, knowing it was there truth. Alejandro Costa might be one of the most influential men in the country, but I was determined to get him to fuck me one way or the other. And then I was going to rub it in Lucas's face. My phone rang with an incoming call just then and I reached beside me to check who it was. Seeing Lucas's name dancing on the screen brought a new surge of rage. Unthinking, I did the first thing that came to mind.

I threw my phone against the wall, watching it smash to pieces.

Chapter 2 2

*Alejandro*

"Okay, be sure to keep me up to speed," I said to the manager of my company in New York before ending the call and looking out the window. I had arrived in Florida late in the evening yesterday so I'd had to check myself into a hotel. I decided to rest for a few hours this morning before calling my personal driver to come pick me up. I let out a deep breath, resting my head back against the seat from where I sat in the owner's corner.

Home, sweet home.

A part of me had hoped that Lucas would come pick me up from the hotel. It had quickly become rather obvious after I'd waited for more than three hours that he had no intention of coming. The house came into view in a blink and I took in the mansion I'd built years ago with my well-earned money. My attention shifted to the penthouse Lucas occupied but I got the feeling from how quiet it was that Lucas wasn't at home.

Figures.

He'd known I was going to arrive today but he hadn't bothered to at least be here when I arrived. He hadn't cared to pick from the airport and he also had not felt the need to pick me up from the hotel. I smoothed out the crease in my forehead with my fingers, telling myself it was way too early to be worrying about Lucas and all his antics. There would be plenty of time for that later.

Getting some rest was most important now.

Sam parked the car in the garage and immediately stepped down to open the door for me. I nodded my thanks before fixing the button on my shirt and stepping out. I managed a small smile when Rosa walked towards me and gave me a welcoming hug, relieving me of the briefcase I'd been holding. Rosa was my housekeeper. An elderly but strong woman getting to her late fifties, she was like the mother I'd never had while growing up.

"It's really good to see you, Alejandro," She said softly, touching my cheek lovingly. I gave her a small nod, stepping into the house as she held out the door for me. I paused in my steps, taking in the house for the first time after so many years. The interior decoration had been upgraded a bit, much like the outside of the house. Rosa had obviously made good use of the money I'd sent for slight renovations.

The house had a warmer feeling than I remembered.

"It's good to see you too," I replied finally. There was a light feeling in my chest and it occurred to me then how much I'd secretly wanted to come back home without admitting it to myself. I watched as the two girls who worked with Rosa walked my suitcases up the stairs to my room. Rosa had informed me she was getting extra hands but I had been away already. I had not met them.

They introduced themselves after they were done moving the bags and then left to continue their duties in various parts of the house. I told Rosa not to bother me for a while and then took the stairs to my room to get some rest. A firm knock on my room door woke me up from sleep a couple of hours later. Already having a feeling who it was going to be, I stood up to open the door.

And I was right.

My son stared back at me, his hair darker than mine, but looking almost exactly like me in everything else. He leaned away from the doorframe the second I opened the door, instantly driving his hands into his pockets and standing upright. It pained me that even now he seemed to have no idea who I really was. I didn't care that he had been leaning against the doorframe but if his actions were any indication, he obviously thought I did.

I shook my head slightly, pushing the thought away and pulling him close to give him a hug. He clasped his hand on my back, squeezing me tightly before releasing me almost immediately. "I heard you had finally arrived home," He stated, putting some distance between us and casually touching a hand to his hair. I barely stopped myself from saying something to him about not being responsible enough to pick me up from the hotel.

He'd at least put in the effort to come find me upstairs but he should have been the one driving me home. Although if I knew Lucas well enough, which I did since he was my son, he was just going to get defensive and come up with one excuse or the other and we were going to end up getting into a fight.

It was the last thing I wanted.

"Yeah," I responded, a slight frown overtaking my face. I thought about inviting him inside so we could talk but I noticed that he seemed a little off, and I knew that talking alone wasn't going to solve whatever was bothering him. Guilt curled in my stomach as I wondered if his restlessness had anything to do with my arrival. Lucas and I didn't get along much but I had always thought that it wasn't to the point where he wanted nothing to do with me.

What if I'd been wrong?

I studied him. "Want to go get a couple of drinks?" I asked, extending an olive branch. His eyebrows lowered as he considered the offer before muttering something inaudible beneath his breath and raising his shoulder in a shrug. He didn't say anything after that but it was only because he didn't need to. I knew my son enough to understand that he had given an answer to my question.

"I'll meet you downstairs" I informed him. I thought about how awkward it was going to be having drinks with him after so many years. I thought about how quickly things could go south. Lucas and I had a way of getting annoyed with each other so quickly. I thought about all these things and did the safest thing I could come up with.

I called my best friend and invited him.

***

It had taken just a second for me to realize I'd fucked up. Before I could get downstairs, Williams had already arrived, meaning that he had been the one to inform Lucas that he was coming along to what had supposedly been a father-and-son outing. I tried to meet Lucas' eyes to explain to him but he brushed it off with a shake of his head, choosing to act like it didn't matter instead.

Fine then.

We got into one of my cars and my driver drove us to The Citadel bar-restaurant. I kept my head down, not wanting to draw any attention to myself as we got checked into an empty booth. A waitress showed up by the table, flirting with all three of us as she took down our order. I asked for a bottle of vodka, scanning the place like I usually did whenever I stepped into any room.

The waitress left to get our drink and I made small talk with Lucas and Williams as we waited for her to get back. They wanted to know what I'd been up to since I left Florida and I gave them a rounded-up version of all the businesses I'd established over the years and where I'd established them. I asked how Lucas was doing and he murmured that he was fine. My eyes met Williams and we shared a frown at Lucas's tone.

I cleared my throat.

"You don't exactly sound like you're fine, Lucas," I pointed out, knowing better than to call him son. I wasn't in the mood for a lecture on how and why I had lost the right to call him that. Yes, I knew that I hadn't exactly been the most available while he'd been growing up and I'd definitely missed out on a lot of things because I'd been so far away from him. It was something I was going to continue regretting for as long as I lived.

Even if I wasn't sure I would do things differently if given a second chance.

His face drew tight over his cheekbones as he clenched his jaws before releasing a deep breath through his nose. "My girlfriend broke up with me a few days ago," He admitted softly, tapping his knuckles against the table. Ahh, I thought silently. He was having girl problems. I sent a silent look of help to Williams, not sure how I was supposed to handle the topic of women with him.

My life was already complicated as it was.

"Well, shit," Williams said, watching as Lucas ran a hand through his hair. "What happened?" He asked. Lucas shot his gaze to mine and then instantly looked away. My heart dropped as I got the message that he couldn't talk about it in front of me. Was he that uncomfortable with me? Did he think I was going to blame him for his failed relationship? Pressing my lips together before I got pissed, I stood up and excused myself, making an excuse about needing to use the bathroom.

I dusted invisible dirt off my shirt before heading in the direction of the bathroom. Cursing beneath my breath, I'd just taken a turn down the bathroom hallway when I bumped into someone, pouring the drink they'd been holding all over them. The soft body pressed against mine for a split second let me know that it was a woman. "Shit," She cursed, taking a few steps back and looking down at her dress.

Fuck.

"I'm sorry," I said, instinctively reaching out and then pulling my hand back awkwardly when I realized there was nothing I could really do. The woman finally looked up at me and then we both paused. But for different reasons, I'm sure. I wasn't sure why she suddenly stood still but I paused because I wasn't looking at an older woman like I'd first assumed. I was staring at a younger girl looking to be not more than twenty years of age.

And she was fucking hot.

She had on a short gold dress which showed off her long trim legs, hugging each of her curves perfectly. Her brown hair had been styled perfectly with two strands falling freely. I studied her face, my eyes moving over her big sexy green eyes and pouty mouth. She had a little bend in her nose that seemed to compliment her features perfectly. Against my will, my gaze dipped beneath her mouth.

Holy hell.

Her dress had a low neckline. Her cleavage was on display, her breast bouncing slightly when she took a step away from me. I felt all the blood in my body rush south. Images of what it would be like to have my mouth all over her body began flooding my mind. I inwardly groaned, pushing all thoughts of taking her away from my head. If not for anything else then for one obvious reason.

She was very young for me.

She recovered in that moment, shaking her head slightly from side to side. I handed her one of my company's napkins which I always carried around, complete with my initials on it so she could dab at her chest. "It's fine," She said shakily, letting out a nervous laugh. I noticed that she couldn't meet my eyes and it took a while for me to realize why.

She knew who I was.

I heard her inhale a steadying breath and suddenly she looked more composed than she had been a few minutes ago. She tried to hand me back the napkin but I raised my hand to stop her. "You can keep it, it's fine." I said softly. The corners of her lips lifted in a small smile as she dabbed more between her boobs. I forced myself to tear my gaze away from her cleavage.

I didn't want her to think I was a pervert.

Her eyelids lifted and she looked at me from beneath her lashes, somehow managing to look hotter than all the girls out there in the bar. "Thank you," She said softly, keeping her gaze locked with mine for a second longer than necessary before sidestepping and heading towards the bar.

"What's your name?" I couldn't help but ask, turning to get a look at her because I just couldn't help it. Her gaze flitted away from mine and she looked like she was deciding against giving me an answer. I held back the feeling of surprise that surged through me. She knew who I was but she was still hesitant? I parted my lips to let her know she didn't have to tell me if she wasn't comfortable.

"Anna," She blurted before I could get a word out, taking the curve down the hallway and disappearing from my line of sight. "Anna," I said out loud, testing her name on my tongue. I hope I don't see you again Anna, I thought silently.

Because you might very well be my ruin.

I continued my walk to the bathroom, fixing my hair and immediately stepping out since I had been away from Lucas and Williams for long enough. They stared at me as I lowered myself down to my seat but neither asked where I'd been for so long. I poured some vodka into my glass and downed half the content in one go. I made small talk with the guys for a few more minutes before Lucas pushed his seat back with his legs, saying he had somewhere to be.

Williams and I said our goodbyes to him and watched him exit the bar. We carried on conversation for about thirty more minutes, simply catching up, laughing around and making silly jokes. I was taking down my drink when a familiar gold dress caught my eyes from beside the bartender. Williams followed my line of sight, shaking his head in disapproval. I could already hear the thoughts in his head without him voicing them.

Stay away from her. She's too young for you.

I snorted a light laugh at the expression on his face as I stood up from my seat as if drawn by an invisible string, assuring him that I was going to be fine and may not come back. It didn't take long and I was standing beside Anna. She turned to look at me, a look of surprise on her face. I moved to stand behind her, her back lightly brushing my chest as I leaned in to whisper in her ears. "Let me buy you a drink for the incident in the bathroom hallway."

She twisted by the waist to shoot me a mischievous smile, surprising me when she leaned her head against my chest to whisper back.

"I'll only accept if you accompany me."

Chapter 3 3

*Andrea*

Here I was, sitting beside the richest silver fox and father to my cheating ex. Looking at him, I couldn't believe that I was the one who had just mischievously flirted with him a few minutes before.

"You said your name was Anna, right?"

I opened my mouth to correct him and stopped myself almost immediately. Anna was the name I had given him. As much as I knew he wasn't close with his son, I wouldn't risk the chance of him finding out about me until my plan was well and truly executed.

I smiled coyly at him, though it was because I thanked the universe for making things flow smoothly and efficiently for me.

All I had to do tonight was to seduce him to get him to bed.

'Yes, I am Anna, and you are Alejandro Costa,' I replied.

A waitress dressed in a black and purple skirt suit approached our table. She nodded at me and smiled at Alejandro before stealing a glance my way.

I looked at the short outfit she had worn, and she looked comfortable in it, a stark contrast to the micro outfits I used to wear at work. I also knew she could smell the potential on her table, but she knew I was the one who could make it or break it for her.

'Would you like something?' Alejandro asked, looking at me.

I picked up the menu, pretended to look at the assortment of drinks, and then said, 'I'll have the spiced Mojito, 86 the pirate.'

The waitress hesitated for a moment and then wrote down my order.

It looks like she understood what I meant.

'I will have a Negroni; use the premium spirits,' he said, handing back the menu.

The waitress nodded and walked away.

He let out a chuckle and then said, 'I can tell the difference between high-quality spirits and cheap spirits.'

'What else can you tell?' I asked.

'About liquor or about you?' he asked, a mischievous grin planted on his face.

'Both,' I matched his energy.

He leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes, his hands clasped in front of him.

'You are like a reposado tequila. Just slightly aged, meaning still young but have the potential to turn to Anejo.'

It looks like Alejandro had some knowledge about spirits, but could it beat mine?

'In that case, you are a bottle of XO cognac with the potential of turning to XXO.'

'You are the first person to call me old in such a creative manner,' he said, a smile on his face.

I smiled back, 'I'd say the same about you. Though I have a question: do you go around spilling drinks on ladies as a pickup move?'

'Today I was trying out a new move; it looks like it worked, though I wouldn't recommend using it too often; not everyone will be as forgiving as you.'

Damn!

Alejandro was smooth. I have to give it to him. He continued talking, and I felt a sense of familiarity and warmth wash over me.

He was just like his son but way better.

Unlike Lucas, conversation flowed effortlessly between us. The camaraderie was one to die for. I even forgot that I was talking to someone way older than me.

As he talked, I managed to get a good look at him, from his black hair to the high cheekbones on his face. I also looked at his juicy lips that weren't thin like Lucas'. I imagined myself kissing them and hoped that it would be tonight.

Alejandro also used his hands while communicating. I managed to see his strong veiny hands and imagined if he was also veiny down there.

I took another sip of my alcohol-free cocktail.

This was one of the reasons I had been well-liked by my supervisor. He knew I never consumed alcohol, unlike my counterparts who would come to work drunk or drink while working. It was sad that I lost that job because of a stupid mistake.

Alcohol wasn't my cup of tea or in this case my glass of wine.

There was also another reason I didn't want to take alcohol tonight.

I wanted to be sober to execute my plan as Alejandro continued drinking.

We were on our fourth round of drinks, and our waitress Rehema was kind enough to bring us some small bites. I had started feeling hungry but not starved enough to order a full meal.

Alejandro had started being tipsy and I could tell from the way he had started initiating contact with me.

It had started with a small light touch on my hand as he reached for a potato crisp.

I had felt a slight jolt travel up that spot and my heart quickened its pace.

As the evening progressed into night, I felt my bladder getting full and I excused myself.

I also felt my sugar levels rising.

I got up and headed to the bathroom. As I left my seat I saw from the corner of my eye a man approach Alejandro and whisper something to him.

I shrugged mentally assuming it was his bodyguard or something of that kind. Once on the toilet seat, I felt relief as I emptied my bladder. I heard someone enter the next cubicle.

'I'm jealous, I wish I was the one with him, I'd do anything to be in his company.'

The person in the next cubicle was on a call or so I thought. I wondered whom she was talking about and silently sat not making any movement.

'Well we are two of us, and if we add Zoe and Daisy to the group, all we have to do is wait for her to come to the bathroom and then detain her.'

I wasn't liking this conversation as I heard the second voice.

'After all, she has consumed about seven Mojitos, even if she is not a lightweight, her judgment now should be cloudy, or at the least, she'll have to visit the bathroom, we can jump her here.'

My heart froze as the second voice continued. I was the topic of the conversation. It was a stroke of luck that I happened to overhear them. I couldn't blame them much, Alejandro was eye candy regardless of his age.

I got up and was about to flush but afraid they'll hear me. I slowly opened the stall door and walked out. At the sink countertop, there was an empty bottle.

'Or we could just rip that stupid dress, that way she will out of embarrassment be scared to go back to Alejandro's presence.'

I looked at the bottle again and this time an idea popped into my head.

I filled up the bottle with water and saw a cleaning cart that I pushed against the next stall. I poured the water over the gap above my head and heard them squeal in anger.

They tried to push the door open but the cart didn't budge.

'Next time you plan to jump or ambush someone, make sure they aren't nearby,' I shouted gleefully and left the room almost skipping in delight.

I went back to the table where Alejandro was seated and he saw my red cheeks.

'Everything okay?'

I nodded but didn't explain anything. I don't know why but I felt all giddy and happy at what I had just done.
