"Darn it!!! Darn it!!! Darn it!!!, everything is Danica,all about her..why can't I just have a permanent bright light that will shine only in my direction.. Daphne yelled in frustration banging on the table at her front

She cursed the day she knew Danica...yes she do..her and her twin sister were never like this,they are always each others supporters and they both love each others dearly but not anymore

Daphne blame her parents for everything,it's has always been their fault from day one,they were always making her feel left out,like she was an outsider and was always treating Danica special

Danica is the favorite daughter of her parents,while Daphne on the other hand seems not to exist in her parents lives upon everything she does to make them proud they'll never ever be proud,they won't even show concern..all they could do is nag all day like Daphne this, Daphne that..and throw insult and tantrum on her..like you a a liability,you are lazy..

The thing that always pain Daphne was the comparison her parents always compare her and her twin together..like.."can't you see your sister is doing better, can't you be like her you lazybones...

"Arghhhh,she yelled throwing all the ceramic jugs on the floor as hot tears rolled down her checks

☎️The telephone rang..till it reach a voice note

☎️Hey Daph,it's me again..I just want to remind you of the events dress code,mom have change it from blue to red,call me when this get to you ,buy... Danica said from the other line and hung up

Daphne scoffed and sniffed,here she is crying and destroying the little she has while her sister is just there feeling alright

"It's not fair,she mumble inside before walking upstairs

"Hey Daph,I was so worried about you,you didn't pick or return any f my calls, Danica said worriedly

"Stop pretending like you care,we both know you don't care, Daphne said

"I care,I swear... Daphne you have to stop all this madness,I will never hate on you .we are sisters,twin sisters for that matter, Danica said with all seriousness,she meant every word she spat

"Just stop it,I'm here for the event and do you know the main reason why I'm here, Daphne asked

"To support me and my business, Danica said

"No dear sister,that's not why I'm here,I'm here to see your business get rejected and watch you go home crying,nobody will want your so called handcrafted necklace and ugly earrings and bracelet, Daphne said with annoyance

"Why did you start hating me all of a sudden,what have I ever done to you.. Danica said trying to fight back the tears that threatening to drop anytime soon

"Everything, you've done everything to me and I hate you for that

"How could you say that,I can you hate me Daph,I am your flesh and blood,we are twins sisters Daphne, Danica said as the tears drop down her chubby cheeks as she sniffs

"That's just want I wanted,to see you in pain just like you've always brought me.. Daphne said walking away,she is happy seeing Danica cry...it means a lot to her

"Oh honey I and your father have been looking for you,come they will start calling the winners..Mrs Anderson said

"Have you been crying,Mr Anderson asked

"No,it's ju..ust ..it's just that I'm being emotional,I can't believe I'm here at La beaut showcasing my work, Danica lied,she can't tell her parents about Daphne rude behavior

"Your sister is not here,she is not concerned,Mr Anderson said

"She has never been concern in her life,Mrs Anderson said

"No mom and dad, Daphne was here a few minutes,she just went to use the toilet, Danica said

"Whatever,let's go in baby,Mrs Anderson said

"I'm so proud of you Danica,how I wish Daphne can be like you .Mrs Anderson said as they three of them walked in

Good evening mom and dad..Daphne greeted her mom..and dad

If it werw up to her she would not have greeted them because it was not from her mind

"Oh Daphne, isn't your sister looking gorgeous today,how I wish you could be like her,Mrs Anderson said

"Mommy please can we not ruin this occasion,it means a lot to me, Danica interrupted trying to stop her mother...she knew what her mother could do..

"Ok princess...Mrs Anderson said..as they all sat down..

Danica prayed silently for her necklace to be among the ones that is picked while Daphne on the other hand wish otherwise...she can't possibly allow her sister to have more shine than her..her parents won't allow her rest..the comparison will increase if Danica necklace is pick

Daphne thought of an idea to block her sister shine...the workers were still calling names..and biding price.. Danica is among the last set of people

Daphne stood up but stop when Mr Anderson asked her where she was going..

"I'm going to use the restroom..she lied

"Danica told is earlier that you went to use rest room..and you are still going to use it again..Mrs Anderson said

"I'm having running stomach..

"I hope you are not trying to spoil this event for your sister,Mr Anderson asked

"No dad,I want to ease my self ,I swear...she lied again before leaving their mist to the restroom..

Within some few minutes dapycame back and sat down...

One of the spectators came to announce the people who back down from the auction

"I don't know why you guys decided to step down from the auction without giving it a try

Here is the list of the people backing down

Number one.. Royce dicky, number two Reynolds Beverly, number three Danica Anderson...he called the rest

"Wait what.. I didn't back down, Danica said

"There must be an error somewhere..Mrs Anderson said

The spectators left after calling the names of the people backing down

"This has always been one of my biggest dream..I swear I didn't back down dad, Danica cried

"How come then..I believe there must have been an error..Mrs Anderson said

After the auction they all went to Danica house,she looked weak and tired from crying,she have been crying her eumues out ever since her name was called out among those stepping down

"I'll like to be alone, Danica said going into her bedroom and locking the door from inside

"Sweet heart please give us a call tomorrow morning...we will be on our way...Mrs Anderson shouted from the living room

"You've been quiet all through Daphne,Mr Anderson said

"What do you want me to do... cry???

"At least show some sympathy,you are emotionless..this is one of your sister dream for her handcrafted necklace to be auction and then everything just went off and yet you have no conscience..Mrs Anderson yelled

"Mom,trust me when I say this...as Danica is sad I am sad also,her hurt is my hurt.. Daphne said

"You say it like you don't mean it,honey let's go..Mr Anderson said holding his wife as they both left Danica house

Daphne scoffed immediately they left

"And how is that suppose to be my business huh,she mumble

"Hey Danica,I'm going to my house..it's okay to cry,you can as well soak all the pillows on your bed... Daphne yelled in a mockery tone before existing Danica's apartment

Alex park his car in front of Danica's apartment..he just heard what happened..he couldn't go with her to the auction because of his tight schedules...on reaching his house he got a called from Daphne telling him what had happen in the auction

Alex have his own spare key to Danica's apartment so does Danica to his

Immediately he enteredgh living room,he went straight to the her bedroom which was locked from inside

"Hey babe,it's me...please open up,he plead

"Go away..I don't want to see any one..she sniff

"I'm not anyone,please open the door..he begged,in a few minutes he heard the door creaked

He walked in and gave her a bone crashing hug..while she sobs lightly

"It's been three months,tw2 weeks and 21 days and yet the necklace refuse to glow..why is it taking so long Maxwell... Lutesa asked in frustration

"Ma'am, maybe...

"Maybe what!!!,she yelled

"The powers are not yours,he said bowing his head not looking at her direction,he knew what he said will piss her off but that's the truth...the powers won't manifest...it's not hers

"How dare you, idiot...the powers are mine,mine alone,how dare you tell me nonsense things...you don't value your head anymore... Lutesa said pointing her hands to his direction choking him with her powers

"No...no.. please I'm sorry..he begged her holding his neck with his both hands.. gasping for air

She let go of him as he bounce his body on the floor.. breathing heavily

"Now..go and find solutions,and don't return without one or you won't be spared the next time,she roared as Maxwell took to his heels

*The next morning*

Danica open her eyes,she wish she didn't as her mind drifted back to the incident of yesterday...she sniffs in

She didnt find Alex on the bed...she could remember vividly that Alex was here yesterday night or was she dreaming..he can't possibly leave her in that kind of state...she left the bedroom to the living room ...sweet aroma welcomed her,Alex is preparing breakfast

She entered the kitchen and saw him preparing breakfast as she smiled...what could she possibly do without him

"Oh you are awake ,did I disturb you,Alex said

"No you didn't,good morning babe

"Morning sunshine,how was your night..

"I don't need to tell you about it... Danica said rolling her eyes

"Everything is going to fall in place soon,so you believe so...
