She Tempted The Devil

Who is the devil?.Some called him Lucifer,others called him Satan. They were practically twins but there were more of them and the youngest was by far the greatest.Lucifer was the fallen angel of pride but he wasn't Pride.Lucifer and Satan attempted a coup.

It of course failed and they both fell.

But,not without taking 1/3 of the angels with him.Those angels mingled with humans and their children became the demons.God destroyed them with Wrath that poured out water onto the earth.It caused a flood that destroyed all the living.But they weren't gone they became ghosts roaming the earth after being banished to the underworld.Their parents,the fallen angels became deities.Those Deities had fetish priests and seers.There were seven major Fallen angels,Lucifer, Asmodeus,Satan,Beelzebub,Baal, Leviathan and Belphegor.The Devil was a title chosen by the seven princes.Satan was the Devil in World wars and Lucifer was King in the fall of man and Babel.It had switched for generations between these two until now.

The kingdom of hell wanted a new devil. The question was,who of the seven.And would Lucifer or Satan allow.There could be only one way to know.

The demons, neutral spirits and ghosts gathered infront of the prestigious throne of hell.They had come to speak their minds to the two ancient kings of hell.For millions of years they served both these kings with undying loyalty,not to forget the sacrifices they made to ensure hell was a formidable kingdom to heaven.All they ever got in return was silence from Lucifer and angry fits of rage by Satan who snapped anytime things didn't go his way.He could sometimes slaughter his own followers,blinded by his rage or just for the pleasure of it.They didn't blame him much,they decided to follow this psychopath to hell and back.But today of all days they had enough and joining together in massive numbers they planned to bring a change to how things went on in the kingdom of hell.

Their spokesperson,Leviathan their own brother who cared about none of this but probably being the Angel of Envy,just wanted his twin brothers off the throne broke the ice as the tension in the throne hall soared above normal,"Dear lords of hell,your fellow brethren have served you tirelessly from beyond time and the beginning of the civilizations.They never asked for much in return and were ready to lay down themselves for the Almighty rebellion but today they want something from their lords,a request that should be easily granted given the fact that they have toiled to make this kingdom a global empire and deserve to be listened to".

Lucifer relaxed a little bit more in his seat and asked,"What is their request brother,make it quick,the humans are in rush to fall from grace and into the embrace of the fires of hell". Leviathan replied,"They want a new king,a change in the regime and they don't want you or Satan as options".

Just like that a bombshell went off as Satan shouted with horrifying reverberation throughout the hall,"How dare you Imbeciles,have you all lost your sanity or have you forgotten who you all speak to at this moment.If anyone here thinks they can stand before me to challenge the throne then,let him come out this moment!!".

The way Satan spoke should have scared the living hell out of all of them but Leviathan was chosen for a reason,what was Satan going to do,fight his own brother,an equally powerful prince of hell. Leviathan retorted in the coldest way possible,"Satan!!!, don't forget,we gave you that crown!!!.We follow you both not because of fear but due to a deep respect you would surely not want to lose".As he said this,it was like the gathering had united in heart,body and mind,no one flinched,no one seemed afraid and everyone seemed to be giving Satan that "We made you who you are"vibe.

"So what's it going to be brother,will you fight us all or shut up and listen to the voice of the people", Leviathan fiercely asked.Satan backed off to the side of Lucifer and looking a little weary of the menacing eyes of the hosts of hell he whispered a question in Lucifer's ears,"What shall we do brother?".

Lucifer stood up elegantly out of his seat and declared,"Let's say we agree to your proposal,which one of you selfish pricks will actually choose someone except their selves."Let us decide.We will sort that out ourselves",they exclaimed.Lucifer amazed on how resolute they were finally asked,"So who do you all propose".

All hell broke loose literally.Who would be the new king 👑 of hell, who deserved the throne and title as the Devil.The crowd started to speak.Demons,seers, ghosts and even the neutral spirits were chanting for a new change of government.Enough of the Lucifer/Satan lead regime.It was getting boring,totally cliche and absolutely one way.But who would be king except from them.Every demon was selfish,every ghost was thinking of their well being and the neutral spirits were still neutral.

So they made a compromise,if they wouldn't allow themselves to get it and definitely,they would not hand it back to the Twin kings then they would give it to stranger.The youngest amongst them. The prodigal son who wasn't even at this vital meeting.They chose Asmodeus to be the Devil.

The question was what did The twins have to say about this. Asmodeus was not at the meeting for complicated reasons.He had not stepped in hell for a while now.He fell out with Lucifer and Satan so he left to planet earth.He was one of the friendliest arch demons.In actual fact the demons, neutral spirits and ghosts all loved him.He was referred to as their Enjoyment Minister.He was the freaking Fallen angel of lust .

Just thinking of all the fun they had when he was around gave them nostalgia.Levithan didn't mind handing the throne to Asmodeus but he was worried that after the serious feud between him and Satan, Asmodeus would definitely never return to this hell hole.They needed a backup plan incase Asmodeus refused,"Who's the next option if Asmodeus declines the offer".

He was expecting them mention him but their reaction shocked him to the bone,"We want Asmodeus!!!,no one else!!!,No Asmodeus,no Devil,no throne".That concluded it, Leviathan could see the sensible resolve he had worked hard to set up crumble beneath him.He had just created rebellious monsters for himself and now he had to feed them with what they wanted or get eaten instead.Things were getting dramatic in the smoking hot pit of fire.To get Asmodeus back home,they would need to find him first.

He cut off all ties when he left.It was like he wanted to disappear and leave his royal demon life behind him but almost everyone knew Asmodeus couldn't keep a low profile.He still talked to one of them.Mammon was another prince of hell.The fallen angel of greed to be exact.He and Asmodeus were close and he also didn't like Satan.

Nobody actually liked Satan.When they were all once in heaven,Lucifer started a movement to challenge their Father,the Almighty.Satan joined that movement obviously and then he took it to a whole different level.What should have been a peaceful demonstration became a bloody coup that almost destroyed the whole universe.The quote from the Bible that the heavens were taken with violence was no mere joke.Lucifer,Satan and the rest of the angels barely survived what happened.Their Father had mercy on them and banished them to earth.Ofcousre,none of them saw it that way.Lucifer hatched the plan to get Adam and Eve to fall with the help of the infamous Lilith.It was a win for them in their second attempt to show their utter contempt to their Father.Things went well as generations passed by until the time of Noah.That was when Satan fucked up again.He went too far in corrupting humanity,thinking that if he got everyone,God would abandon the earth and leave it for his fallen sons.He instead did something that terrified them.He destroyed everything and everyone except Noah,his family and the pair of animals.It was there and then that they agreed that they would go easy on the whole corrupting the world thing.All those dead people were totally not going to heaven so where did they end up.Well that's how the underworld was made,buried deep within the sea the place they called the devil's eye.

They found it and that's were the legends of ghosts,demons and monsters began.Fast forward centuries later,they got a hint that God had a plan to reunite humanity with himself.That plan involved his only begotten son,the divine one.Once they discovered it,Lucifer was furious.Yes,Satan wasn't the one freaking out,it was the fallen angel of pride.

Lucifer therefore gave the wheels to Satan to do as he pleased,as long as he got rid of the divine one.Thats were the baby massacres began and the long period of hunting down the divine one. Of course, he was hidden from them until he was old enough to face them all.No one dared get close to the divine one.Well, everyone but the Devil twin duo.Lucifer tempted him in the desert and Satan ended up killing him only to realize that they had just helped him fulfill prophecy.

On that note it was of no surprise that everyone suddenly wanted Satan as far away from the throne for as long as possible.So how was it going to go down.Was it going to a peaceful election or a coup d'etat.

"What the hell on earth",A handsome man with a devilish smirk on his face said as a bunch of men sitting around a big office table briefed him on the state of hell address.Yes,he was the famous Asmodeus,the youngest Arch demon,most cocky prince of hell and the soon to be Devil.He was amused to hear what he had just been told.Hell wanted an election,the demons wanted democracy."Ha,I can't believe this,I wish I could see the look on Satan and Lucifer's face."So, Asmodeus what do you say about our proposal",the men around the table asked.

Asmodeus looked at them one by one then spoke,"Why the hell would I do that".They all gaped at him,this was the greatest opportunity of a lifetime for any demon and Asmodeus was....well,he was.....not giving a fuck!!!.

Asmodeus said that for one reason and one reason only.He gave up on the mission of hell long ago.He gave up fighting a lost war against their Father,the Almighty God.Why after leaving hell for over a century,would he want to comeback to be the fall guy for the kingdom of darkness."What did Lucifer have to say about your demands",he curiously asked."He's been quiet this whole time,you know Lucifer and his pride",they replied."Asmodeus,please consider the offer, we are tired of their rule and it seems Satan wants the throne again,you know what happens when he takes control",they said,almost like they were begging him."Oh Satan, classic lover of war and genocide,I wanna see you right now",he told himself while getting up and turning his back on the men.

"Okay,l want to hear my endorsement from the lips of Lucifer himself",He turned to tell them.They turned pale,they knew Lucifer would never do that.It would bruise his ego but Asmodeus knew that.He just wanted to stand before his brother who told him,he had chosen the weakest sin to draw power from.Now look at him,the whole hell was trying to make him king and he just wanted to see his dearest brother's reaction.

He wanted to stare Lucifer in the eyes and see his ego crumble before the one he referred to as a mistaken rebel.Yeah,at first Asmodeus didn't agree with their ideologies and sometimes said their cause was stupid and vain but when he ended up on earth,the freedom and power he experienced showed him what he would have missed if he was still an innocent little angel.He couldn't say he didn't miss it but he realized that he joined to rebel for this reason.He was tired of being told what to do,what to think and most of all how to live his eternal life.

He thought being with his seven brothers would change that but Lucifer and Satan showed him that he had just entered an alternate reality because they still tried to control him.It took him years to break free from the mentality that he needed them but now he was truly free,he would never be anyone's puppet again.It was going to be a hard pass for him.They could take their bloody throne but he wanted his dignity and respect back.He wanted Lucifer to acknowledge him as the superior now and then he would throw them all under the bus and go back to living happily ever after in his demon free world.

Leviathan,who lead the messengers walked up to Asmodeus and tapped his shoulder.Once he had his attention he spoke,"You really don't need to do this Asmodeus,we both know you don't want the throne.Here,let's make a deal,you endorse me for the role and I will ensure the others never bother you ever again".

He turned to face his brother and with a deadbeat expression on his face he replied,"What do you know about what I want,this the first time in a century that we have talked and you're here with all your guts spitting nonsense about making deals.I will tell you what!!!.When I become king,you can come and make a deal with the Devil".

Leviathan wasn't surprised at Asmodeus and his angry talk and mocking.They were never on the best talking terms.

Well now he witnessed firsthand that the Asmodeus he knew had grown up and become a serious combination of Lucifer's pride and Satan's refined rage,he had to worry no more about Asmodeus looking weak infront of the others.

"Since it seems you got everything under control,may we go and finally meet your fanatics,they can't wait to see their new king", Leviathan said in the most cynical way possible.
