Lanny Lewis had his first bout of sex addiction and ended up sleeping with Belen Gilbert.
For the next three years, he didn't tell her he loved her but was intensely obsessed with her physically.
Belen believed that she could win his heart after they had sex with each other for a long time. But she received news that he was dating a younger college student.
"I've been trying to win her over for a long time, and she finally agreed to be my girlfriend." Lanny looked into her eyes and said, "Let's not keep in touch anymore."
Belen disappeared completely from his life, as he wished later.
But Lanny regretted it. He searched frantically for her everywhere.
He humbly got down before her and pleaded, "Belen, please come back to me. Okay?"

"Once again, Lanny Lewis has won the middleweight championship in the UFC fight..." The television broadcast the moment of Lanny's victory.
At that moment, Lanny was forcefully making love to Belen beneath him on the large bed.
"Be gentle..." Belen knew too well that Lanny's stamina was comparable to that of a beast.
After every major competition, he would make love to her forcefully and leave her utterly exhausted.
As the morning came, Belen felt herself almost falling apart as Lanny stopped.
She sensed that he was rougher than before this time.
"Leave the key here before you go today. You don't need to come here anymore from now on." His sudden words snapped her out of her drowsiness. "Jayde agreed to be my girlfriend." Lanny gave a gentle smile. "Remember to take all your clothes and jewelry with you. She will be upset if she sees them."
He handed Belen a bank card and tossed it onto her. "Thanks for what you did in the past three years." Lanny's voice was flat. "Belen, you're 25 now. Have you thought about finding a good guy to settle down with?"
Belen nodded numbly and felt a sharp pain in her heart.
"When you get married, let my agent know, and I'll give you a good gift." Lanny seemed energetic, although he didn't sleep all night.
He got dressed and carefully chose a tie for himself. "What flowers do you women like?"
"Roses?" Belen responded.
"So tacky," Lanny sneered lightly. "Jayde is different from you. She's so hard to win over and has a proud and stubborn nature. She surely wouldn't like such ordinary flowers."
Without waiting for Belen to say anything more, he walked out of the room.
"Hss..." Belen's legs were weak as she got off the bed. She trembled all over.
She walked into the bathroom and looked at the marks all over in the mirror. Then she sighed helplessly.
She had been sleeping with Lanny for three years.
They were childhood friends and grew up together.
During the summer after the college entrance exams, she had gathered the courage to tell him that she loved him, but Lanny casually hooked an arm around her shoulder and said, "My mother asked if we were dating today. It's funny. We're as close as buddies. How can we date?"
Later, Belen went to a dance college far from home. She only met Lanny during winter break throughout her four years of college.
When she received the offer from the graduate school, she got drunk with her classmates, while Lanny was drugged by his opponent before a match that very evening.
He and Belen ended up sleeping together by accident.
After waking up, he promised to take responsibility. If they hadn't met anyone they loved by 25, they would be together.
Belen agreed impulsively.
From then on, their unconventional relationship began.
Lanny was a professional competitive fighter. He had a high physical demand and even greater sexual needs.
A month later, Belen discovered that Lanny was a sex addict.
The drug he was given that day couldn't be completely relieved after having sex once.
It would flare up every week.
Lanny tried to relieve it through working out, but it didn't seem to be useful.
So, she became his outlet.
Now it was time for her to leave because Lanny accidentally met one of the freshmen of the dance academy, Jayde Sullivan, half a year ago when Lanny came to pick Belen up from college.
Jayde was nineteen and looked so innocent.
Lanny was instantly captivated by Jayde.
He pursued her with various tactics, but she was unimpressed.
Jayde was dressed in a faded long dress and canvas shoes with worn soles. She looked detached and arrogant. "Please leave me alone. I don't want to be a kept woman for you, a womanizer."
Her stubborn demeanor didn't make Lanny give up. Instead, he was more obsessed.
During that period, when his addiction acted up, he preferred to relieve himself with Jayde's photo rather than having sex with Belen.
Belen slept until the afternoon, when she was awakened by a phone call.
It was Belen's mother, Ellen Gilbert.
"Hello, Mom."
"My dear." Ellen's voice came through the receiver. "Ms. Lambert's son is awake!"
"Is Jonathan awake?" Belen's eyes lit up. Then she pondered and said, "Mom, my graduation certificate will be available in seven days. You've always wanted to settle in Austland, right? I'll go with you after seven days."
Ellen was surprised. "What about Lanny? Is he willing to have a long-distance relationship with you?"
"We broke up," Belen replied, forcing a smile.
She had never dared to tell Ellen that she and Lanny had never started a romantic relationship.
"My dear, don't be sad. You will meet the right guy later..." Ellen sighed deeply. "Once you book your ticket, let me know. We can visit Jonathan in Austland as soon as possible."
"Okay."
After hanging up, Belen gave a smile.
Jonathan was four years older than she. She had always been nice, as if she were his sister. She got to know him even before she met Lanny.
Whenever Lanny saw her hanging out with Jonathan, Lanny would always make sarcastic comments.
Six years ago, Jonathan immigrated to Austland with his mother and ended up in a car accident. He then became a comatose patient.
Doctors said the chances of him waking were slim.
But unexpectedly, a medical miracle occurred with Jonathan.
Belen immediately freshened up, got dressed, and took everything related to her from the villa.
As she dragged her luggage downstairs, she saw Lanny entering with a pure and charming young woman.
Their gazes met.
"She's the live-in servant here..." Lanny quickly explained to Jayde.
Jayde's gaze fell on the red marks on Belen's neck. She said in a disappointed tone, "Belen, you were always my idol. I admired you as an exceptional dancer, but it turns out you sell yourself secretly."
Belen was momentarily speechless.
Jayde turned to Lanny and said, "Mr. Lewis, don't forget that we're currently in a relationship. I will never stoop to selling my body like her. You're still under observation. If you dare touch me, we will break up immediately."
"Jayde, don't be upset. You're different from her." Lanny held Jayde's hand and said, "You're my girlfriend."
Jayde proudly turned her face away. She stared directly at the crystal trophy in Belen's hand.
She took a step forward, stumbled, and fell towards Belen.
"Crash-" The crystal cup shattered on the tiles.
The crystal cup in Belen's hand shattered into pieces.
Shards flew everywhere.
"I'm so, so sorry..." Jayde was stunned and immediately crouched down to pick up the shards. Then she hissed in pain.
Lanny quickly pulled her up. He looked at her bleeding fingertips with concern. "Why are you picking up broken glass? I'll ask the servant to clean it up later."
"I'm sorry." Jayde glanced at Belen guiltily. The latter's face was ashen. Jayde said, "I'm really sorry. I accidentally broke your Prestigious Dance Cup."
For those who study classical dance, the Prestigious Dance Cup was the highest honor.
And the cup that belonged to Belen lay in ruins now.
Lanny's brows furrowed slightly as he heard the Prestigious Dance Cup.
He couldn't forget how ecstatic Belen was when she received the trophy. She laughed with tears all night and chattered in his ear for a long time.
He didn't understand dance, but he knew that awards were a form of recognition as a fighter.
"Belen, I really didn't mean to..." Jayde's eyes brimmed with tears as she bent down again to pick up the shattered glass.
The next moment, her collar was grabbed by Belen.
A crisp sound echoed as Belen's hand landed on Jayde's cheek.
A shocking red imprint was left there.
The atmosphere in the spacious living room froze.
"Why are you playing the innocent?" Belen tried to remind herself to stay rational, but the chaos around her and the image where Jayde deliberately bumped into Belen made her furious. "Check the surveillance footage, and we will see if you did it deliberately."
A flash of guilt flickered in Jayde's eyes after she heard Belen's words.
"Enough!" Lanny stood protectively in front of Jayde. He stared coldly at Belen. "It's just a piece of broken glass. Your honor won't disappear just because the trophy is shattered. Is it necessary to be so aggressive?"
Belen lost her words.
She stared at Lanny in front of her and was unable to breathe.
"Jayde didn't do it on purpose. Stop being relentless." Lanny looked tenderly at Jayde's swollen face and was about to slap Belen.
He paused. Blinking his eyes, he slowly took back his hand. He said, "If you dare touch her again, I won't let you off. Get lost."
Belen's eyes burned, and her nose tingled with emotion.
She took a deep breath, dragged her suitcase, and left quickly.
Outside the villa, she realized it was raining heavily.
Belen walked miserably through the rain. She remembered when Lanny had defended her honor at the age of fourteen.
She had won her first major competition in her life that day. She clutched her trophy on the way home, only to be knocked over by a drunken brute.
The trophy shattered on the ground, and the drunk kicked it aside, cursing.
Lanny punched that drunk squarely in the nose.
He carried her on his back. She sobbed as they went back home. He spent the night painstakingly piecing the trophy back together.
Belen could never forget his bloodshot eyes as he proudly handed the trophy to her, saying, "Check it out. You won't find a single trace of breakage."
He had cherished her honor so dearly, but he was now willing to beat her for another woman...
She returned to her rented apartment near campus and was soaked to the bone.
Unfortunately, she caught a high fever from being drenched in the rain and spent two days bedridden.
"Ring-" The doorbell rang.
Before Belen could get up to answer the door, she heard footsteps approaching rapidly.
She weakly lifted her gaze to see Lanny standing over her. His dark eyes were dangerously close to her.
Belen's throat was gripped forcefully by him the next moment. "Where did you hide Jayde?"
"Urk, urk..." Belen was choked. She had to gasp for air. She seemed to suffocate at any moment. "I don't know..."
"Tell me!" Lanny released her neck and yanked her hair. "I underestimated you. You dared to kidnap Jayde."
"I didn't!" Belen's eyes locked onto his defiantly. "Ah-"
She was suddenly lifted off the bed as Lanny hoisted her onto his shoulder and marched out.
The door slammed shut with a loud bang.
Belen was tossed into the back seat of Lanny's car.
She didn't know where the car was going. She sensed that they were speeding up.
Gradually, she heard the sound of crashing waves.
The vast, dark sea loomed ahead, with a massive cruise ship standing out starkly against the night.
Lanny got out of the driver's seat, roughly pulled Belen from the trunk, and dragged her towards the beach.
"Mom..." Belen couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Ellen there. Her hands and feet were tied on the deck. Belen's face turned pale instantly.
"Mmmph!" Ellen's mouth was taped shut, and she looked at Belen helplessly.
"You might refuse to tell me where Jayde is, but your mother will suffer the consequences." With that, Lanny signaled to his men on the deck.
"Mmmph!"
Belen watched in horror as Ellen was stuffed into a burlap sack. Its top was tied with a rope, and then it was tossed into the sea.
Splash! Huge waves were stirred up.
The sack bobbed up and down with the motion of the waves, occasionally surfacing before being swallowed by the water again.
"Lanny, you're insane!" Belen clutched his collar, and her voice was breaking. "Jayde's disappearance has nothing to do with me. My mother had lung surgery. You're killing her..."
Her voice trailed off, and she choked with sobs.
"Really?" Lanny sneered. "The two people who kidnapped her used to rehearse with you for the school celebration. Jayde's phone was left at the convenience store, and there were your threatening messages on it."
With that, he took out Jayde's phone and revealed the conversation between "Belen" and Jayde.
"He just had a crush on you. You'd better stay away before things get ugly."
"You are just a poor woman. Don't dream of rising above your station by seducing him."
"If you don't break up with Lanny, I'll make sure you disappear forever."
"I didn't send her those messages," Belen said through gritted teeth. "Why are you so sure I kidnapped her? Lanny, I'm pleading with you. Let my mother go!"
Lanny narrowed his eyes. "Because I know how you feel about me."
Belen's heart skipped a beat. She didn't know what to say.
"I've known for a while that you have feelings for me. Now that I have loved another woman, you view her as your enemy." Lanny said with anger. "Belen, I didn't expect you to be so malicious. Even if I didn't fall for Jayde, I'd never love you. Stop pestering me. Tell me where she is now!"
"I don't know!" Belen cried out. She was collapsing.
She tried to run towards the sea, but Lanny caught her.
"Do you still refuse to tell me the truth, huh? Fine. Then your mother will be drowned at sea today." With that, Lanny said to his men, "Cut the rope on the sack."
"No-" Belen's eyes widened in terror, and her mind went blank.
She wanted to stop them, but she was controlled and couldn't move.
The rope connecting the sack to the deck was cut, and it was quickly swallowed by the sea.
"Mom, mom-" Tears streamed down Belen's face as she bit into Lanny's wrist abruptly.
She tasted blood in her mouth instantly.
At that moment, one of Lanny's subordinates rushed over. "Mr. Lewis, we've found Miss Gilbert!"
Lanny's eyes lit up. "Where is she? Take me to her."
In an instant, everyone followed Lanny away.
Belen dashed towards the sea and plunged into the water.
The water was freezing at night. It stole her breath, but she swam on with all her might.
She didn't know how long she swam before finally seeing the sack.
She was exhausted, and her legs were numb. Finally, she managed to drag it onto the shore.
"Mom, please. You must be fine..." With trembling hands, Belen untied the rope and saw Ellen's pale face. She was unconscious.
She dared not waste any time and called for an ambulance.
They rushed to the hospital. Belen watched in a daze as Ellen was wheeled into the emergency room.
