The highest order priest asked Juliet who was the happiest girl in the whole world because she was getting married to the man who she loved all her life.

Juliet raised her head and looked at Xavier who was looking so dashing in a black tuxedo and a butterfly erupted in Juliet's heart that this handsome man was soon going to be his husband.

"I do," Juliet said with a blush on her face and she raised her eyes and looked at Xavier who had no expression on his face.

Everyone wear a white gown for their wedding but Juliet wore a gown of blue colour because that was Xavier's favourite colour and she only wanted Xavier to glance at her with adoration in his eyes.

But Xavier was looking at her with a bored expression like the presence of Juliet didn't matter to him.

Xavier was a billionaire and people knew him as a ruthless and cunning businessman but Juliet was sure that she would make Xavier fall for her. He only wanted to end this stupid marriage thing as soon as possible.

"Do you Xavier knight accept Juliet Gracia as your legally wedded wife" the priest announced.

"I do," Xavier said in his robotic tone and his face void of any emotion.

Xavier hated this girl who stood in front of her in the blue wedding dress. He would never marry a girl like her if his mom didn't force her. Xavier only married Juliet to get the inheritance of properties from his mother's side.

"I am done with this drama," Xavier's father john knight said with a straight face like the marriage of his son was not an important event for him.

John was least interested in Xavier's life and he wanted to leave as soon as possible. John was present in the ceremony only for the namesake. John was a selfish man who cared about money and nothing else

"Juliet let's go home," her mother-in-law said Lilian said and Juliet felt humiliated that Xavier left her at the altar and nobody said anything to him.

"I am Maria, the caretaker of this mansion and Lilian man told me about you" she introduced herself and Juliet smiled at her brightly.

"Let me take you to your room," Maria said to her and Juliet's happiness had no bound because finally, she was going to be in the arms of the man she loved.

Maria take Juliet upstairs and stooped in front of a brown door, Maria opened the door and the room was beautiful and designed with modern classic furniture but Juliet's eyes were searching for Xavier but he was nowhere to be found

"I will send your luggage to the room," Maria said and was going to turn around but Juliet stopped her

"Where is Xavier," Juliet asked and Maria didn't know what to tell this poor girl.

"Xavier is in his room," Maria said averting her eyes from Juliet who was looking at her with a questionable gaze.

"What do you mean by his room, I am his wife then why didn't you take me to his room," Juliet asked her with a confused expression on her face.

"Mrs Juliet, this is your room and Xavier like his privacy" Maria said in a low voice because she knew what was going to come in Juliet's life.

"I am his wife, please take me to his room," Juliet said with authority to Maria and was unaware of the storm that was going to knock on her door.

Maria couldn't deny the orders of the new mistress of the house but she also knew that sooner or later the truth would come out in front of Juliet.

Maria took Juliet toward the room of Xavier but inside she dreaded the consequences because Xavier strictly ordered that Juliet shouldn't come in front of him.

But Juliet was unaware of the hatred in Xavier's heart.

"Mam, that is sir's room," Maria said to Juliet who looked at the room far away in the corner.

The heartbeat of her was getting fast that finally, she was going to be together with the man she loved

But she was confused that why Maria didn't take her to Xavier's room at first and there was some different expression on Maria's face that Juliet unable to understand.

She shook her head because she didn't want to have any bad thoughts.

"Thank you and send my luggage to his room," Juliet said without looking at the fearful expression on Maria's face.

Maria knew that tonight was going to be rough for Juliet but she was not in a position to say anything to the young mistress, Maria only prayed to God to give strength to Juliet to fight the upcoming storm in her life.

Juliet advances her steps towards the direction of Xavier's room and her heart was blooming with happiness thinking that this was going to be her dream night.

She stood outside the door of Xavier's room and at first, she thought to knock on the door but decided against it because Juliet thought that she is Xavier's wife and she didn't need to knock at her husband's door.

She turned the doorknob and entered inside but the scene in front of her confused her.

She looked at her best friend Kathy who was sitting on the bed and doing something in Xavier's room.

A lot of questions arose in the mind of Juliet but not even once did she doubt the intention of her best friend.

On the other hand, Kathy didn't realise that Juliet entered the room because she was lost in her own world.

"Kathy, what are you doing here," Juliet asked with a polite smile on her face. Kathy belonged to the noble family and her association with Xavier was nothing new to Juliet

Juliet had seen Kathy and Xavier in a lot of magazines and her heart was pained whenever she saw them together but she knew that Kathy would never betray her.

Kathy was the only one in this world who knew how much Juliet loved Xavier.

Kathy looked at Juliet and her heart was filled with jealousy, Juliet was glowing in the wedding dress. Kathy was indeed the beautiful blond woman with sharp features but she was always afraid of Juliet's beauty.

Kathy and Juliet were friends for 6 years but as soon as she got the news of Xavier's marriage to Juliet, her heart filled with hatred toward Juliet.

Juliet was innocent and Kathy felt insecure that Xavier might fall for this innocent beauty but Kathy would never let it happen.

"I should ask you the same question, what are you doing here," Kathy asked with full confidence, she was wearing a black transparent gown which was depicting every curve of her body

"I got married to Xavier tonight and it was secret marriage otherwise I would definitely inform you," Juliet said with innocence but still didn't get the idea that the woman standing in front of her was no friend to her

Listening to Juliet, Kathy started laughing uncontrollably.

"What a stupid woman, you are?" Kathy said and wiped the tears that escaped her eye due to an uncontrollable laugh

Juliet got perplexed hearing the unexpected words from Kathy and she was about to say something but then the door of the bathroom got opened revealing Xavie who was freshly showered and with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"What are you doing here," Xavier said to Juliet in anger because he hate this girl who forced upon him and Juliet's presence made her angrier.

Juliet's heart started to thump loudly looking at his angry husband.

"I am your wife," Juliet said in a slow voice and was scared at the angry Xavier.

"Baby, please stop it. You are scaring the poor girl" Kathy said and went near to Xavier who hold her waist firmly in his grip.

Kathy looked at Juliet in a teasing manner and pecked on Xavier's lips.

Juliet's eyes couldn't believe the betrayal in front of her and her heart got shattered. She was unable to form any words in her mouth but tears kept on leaking from her eyes.

"Xavier is mine and no one can snatch him from me," Kathy said in a proud manner and Xavier smirked and ran his finger over the face of his lady love.

"You are the most beautiful woman and looking at any other woman apart from you will be a shame for me," Xavier said in a protective manner and took Kathy's lips in a sensual kiss in front of Juliet.

Juliet couldn't hold herself together and she fell to the floor because the pain she bear in her heart is unexplainable.

"Who allowed you to enter my room," Xavier asked Juliet in a hard tone with a clenched jaw.

Juliet felt like someone drown her in the cold water and she forgot how to breath

"She is my friend, Xavier. don't treat her like this" Kathy said and ran her hand over the naked chest of Xavier and she did it intentionally to show her possession of Xavier.

Xavier left Kathy's body and advance his steps towards Juliet who was still on the floor without any expression on her face but tears were leaking out from her eyes.

Juliet got the biggest shock of her life tonight. She didn't expect such betrayal from Xavier.

The childhood dreams of Juliet shattered in front of her. Juliet wanted nothing else but to die at this moment

Darkness spread in Juliet's life and shattered pieces of her dreams were in front of her

Xavier angrily advanced his steps towards Juliet bent to her level and looked at her teary eyes

"Listen to me carefully because I am not going to repeat myself over a pathetic girl like you," Xavier said and gripped Juliet's jaw

Juliet always yearned for Xavier's closeness but now Xavier was close to her but all she can see is hatred in his eyes.

"I do not consider you as my wife, you are nothing to me but a woman to me who stay in my house. You have no existence in my life" Xavier said in a cold voice and Juliet was on verge of collapsing.

Hearing such words from the man who Juliet loved all her life brought a permanent scar on her face

"I love only Kathy" Xavier declared and Kathy's lips curved in a smile.

Kathy understood that no matter how innocent Juliet was but Xavier would never leave Kathy because Xavier was a man of honour.

Kathy was not a vile woman and she used to care about Juliet but once the news of marriage passed Kathy's ears, she forgot all her friendship with Juliet because love is greater than all the forms of love

"Then why did you marry me," Juliet asked in her slow and broken voice.

"That's not for you to know and remember one thing, my room is forbidden to you," Xavier said and Juliet's tears were not affecting him because he was not the man that could be affected by any woman's tears

And in his eyes, Juliet was the woman who manipulated his mother Lilian and forced Xavier to marry Juliet.

Juliet and Xavier looked into each other eyes, Xavier felt nothing but on the other hand, Juliet's heart broke into multiple pieces.

"Maria" Xavier screamed the name of his maid and Maria came running to Xavier's room

"What this tramp is doing in my room, I specifically told you that I don't want to see her face then what she is doing her?" Xavier lashed out at maria who looked at the trembling figure of Juliet.

She felt sorry for this girl and she didn't want to bring more misery to Juliet's life so she took the blame on herself.

Maria knew that Kathy was in the room of Xavier but she didn't want to break the heart of the newly bride Juliet but no one could hide the truth for a long time.

"It's my mistake, I forgot to inform her," Maria said and bowed her head down.

"Take her away, tonight is special for Xavier and me so I don't want any unwanted people in my life," Kathy said rolling her eyes because she planned a special night with Xavier and she didn't want to waste any more time.

Maria helped the broken Juliet to get on her feet and take her lifeless body outside the room.

Juliet was too numb to react and she didn't know what was happening in her life and how her life changed in one night.
