Seven lives and all with you

Leonardo feels distressed, his wife Emily is pregnant and very sad, not for the baby. This baby, whose sex they still don't know, was very much desired by the couple, who waited a long three years for Emily to be blessed. It happened at the right time, but it didn't happen. When they wanted it to happen.

But now that Emily has isolated herself at home, she no longer goes out for walks and thinks she is ugly and fat, while Leonardo thinks she is beautiful. In his opinion, Emily has more beautiful skin, hair, and for him, his wife hasn't gained that much weight, but after completing five months of pregnancy, she isolated herself and lives a sad life, crying in the corners. She has a distorted vision, distorted of herself, and this worries her husband, who fears that if he continues like this, his wife will become depressed.

Emily, who attended prenatal appointments, was excited and smiling, at the last appointment they went to together, she tried to wear a cape and hood, but he didn't let her say she looked beautiful.

She didn't hide, however, she wore a frown and didn't speak to Leonardo on the way there, much less on the way back.

Not knowing what to do to please his wife, Leonardo leaves the house without direction. He has just arrived home from work tired, but the atmosphere at home is not good, as he saw that his wife Emily has a frown on her face as if to accuse him of something wrong that he didn't do.

"God, if it continues like this, I won't be able to bear giving myself direction. Sir, sir, I can see that my marriage is on the rocks, and I love my wife, I don't want to separate."

Lost in his thoughts, Leonardo walks along the sidewalk and doesn't notice a cardboard box. He ends up tripping over it and angrily kicking it away.

He continues walking along the sidewalk, and when he passes the box that he has just kicked, he hears a little sound that sounds like a faint moan. He approaches the box and looks inside, a striped kitten.

Leonardo feels bad about kicking the box away, he worries about his sad wife and ends up taking out his concern on a box on the street in which there is an innocent being, and he didn't know.

The poor kitten is approximately forty-five days old.

Leonardo picks him up carefully and finds himself wondering who would commit such a great evil while being so defenseless.

He carefully supports the kitten in his arm and decides to take it home, but first he stops by the clinic of a friend who is a veterinarian to find out how he should guide his wife to treat such a tiny being that needs love, care and attention.

"Leonardo, my friend, how long will good winds bring you?"

"Ah, Igor, this kitten that is resting on my arm is the wind that directed me here; I found him on the street. I feel guilty because, due to personal problems, I ended up taking out my concern on the box he was in, and I kicked it away, I didn't know he was inside."

"Don't blame yourself, my friend, you made up for your mistake by bringing him here. Do you intend to keep him?"

"Yes, I'm going to take him home, who knows, maybe his presence will bring joy to my wife, who is sad and has isolated herself from the world."

Igor notices the anguish on his friend's face, and like a good friend, he asks if Leonardo wants to share what is happening.

Seeking relief from the weight he carries on his back, he talks about what he has been going through since his wife got pregnant and her belly started to appear.

"I have done everything to please you, but my efforts have been useless, Igor."

"I feel like my marriage is on the rocks, and I don't want to separate. Even though I'm facing this complicated situation, I love Emily."

Igor examines the kitten and confirms that it is in perfect health, despite the "accident" it suffered when Leonardo kicked the box it was in away.

"The cat is my last hope, Igor, if it doesn't work out, I'll separate from Emily."

"Friend, your wife needs understanding. I think the brindle kitten will help. Yes, maybe because you work all day she feels alone, and an empty head is the devil's workshop."

Leonardo heard this saying a lot from his father, a retired army soldier, especially when he didn't want to study to watch television and his father wouldn't let him.

"Go study, Leonardo, an empty head is the devil's workshop," remembers Leonardo.

Igor tucks the kitten into a small medicine box and gives it to Leonardo with the vaccination card and a recipe for milk suitable for cats.

"Whoever abandoned this kitten, separated it from its mother, and left it to die-cats normally wean their kittens after three months."

"I don't accept so much cruelty, Igor, but this kitten will find love in Emily's care."

The friends say goodbye, and Leonardo returns home excited. When he enters he calls Emily, who leaves her refuge with her eyes swollen from crying.

"Leonardo, I thought you left me."

"Don't be silly, Emily; I love you."

"Even though I'm fat and ugly?"

"You're not ugly, Emily is beautiful to the fullest.

Emily was about to antagonize Leonardo when she noticed the small box in his hands.

"What is this, Leo? What's in that box."

"Oh, it's a long story, Emily."

Leonardo tells his wife the story and she gets angry with him:

"How can Leonardo kick a box away, you tyrant?"

"Love, I thought I was empty, I'm not to blame for the cruelty of others."

Leonardo delivers the small box with the kitten to his wife, who is delighted to see the beautiful striped kitten.

"I brought him because you're sad, but you have me, love, he doesn't have anyone, but if you don't want him, I'll take him to the veterinary clinic and leave him with Igor."

"Don't even think about it, Leo, I'm going to take care of him and give him love, and this kitten will be my companion, maybe my confidant."

Emily takes the kitten out of the box and caresses it, and without thinking twice, she names it Xano.

Leonardo realizes that his strategy of bringing a cat to cheer up his wife will work.

Xano feels loving hands stroking his fur and thinks with his little puppy head:

"This human is very affectionate; they separated me from my mother early, but I'm not helpless; I'm in the warm lap of a loving human."

"Leonardo, let's get in the car; let's buy some milk for the kitten; he'll be hungry soon and the milk prescribed by the vet should be here at home."

Emily puts the kitten on the sofa and wipes away the tears that insist on falling from her eyes-more of those of happiness.

She approaches Leonardo and kisses him passionately.

"Thank you, Leonardo, for bringing me Xano love, now I won't feel alone.

Leonardo remembers Igor's words:

"Empty heads work the devil"

What his wife felt was loneliness, and because of this loneliness, she acquired a distorted image of, yes, herself.

Together, they go out to buy everything Xano needs.

Leonardo disbelieved his wife's sudden change that Xano needed.

At home, Xano is lying on the soft sofa, so small, he observes the immensity of what will now be his home.

"I had no one, I was put in a box and thrown away like trash. Now I'm here in this soft place that the human put me in, so I can be comfortable," Thinks the kitten.

So tiny, he gets up and uses his nails to try to fluff up the huge sofa so he can have his trademark look.

"If I'm going to live with these humans, I have to mark my territory, leave the mark of my little nails"

When remembering the human, Xano remembers that she seemed sad when he arrived.

"Poor human, her eyes were swollen; I hope they go away, because she is a beautiful human; she has a huge volume in front of her; is it comfortable for me to lie down?"

Xano is only forty-five days old, he is still a child, but he is enormously curious to know more about those who will be his humans.

He can't stop thinking about the woman named Emily and the human.

"I hope they don't take long, this huge house scares me a lot"

Terrified, he hides among the cushions and feels protected there.

"I will stay here until my humans return."

With this thought, Xano ends up falling asleep.

At the store specializing in animals, Leonardo and Emily buy everything Xano needs, from cat milk to transportation and scratching posts.

He is still too small to wear an identification collar, but even so, they ask the attendant to engrave Xano's name on a collar containing his name and the guardians' phone number.

This is how the store attendant does it, when they are paying for the gifts they bought for Xano, Emily remembers an important item to educate her kitty so that he doesn't get into too much mischief around the house.

"Babe, we have to buy the catnip."

"True, with love like this, our little one won't go around making mischief all over the house."

So, they take the last item and pay for their purchases.

They happily go home, and upon arrival, Emily goes straight to the living room to see her little friend.

If she is scared when she doesn't find him on the sofa, with her heart in her hand, she calls her husband, who went to the kitchen:

"Leonardo, Xano disappeared, I left him here on the couch and now he's not here."

Leonardo runs into the living room; it's not possible for the kitten to have disappeared; he's small, and even if he were curious enough to jump off the sofa, he would be scared of seeing such a huge house.

"Emily, calm down; he must be in the living room; I don't think he went out to explore the house; this house is huge for someone so small."

"I see it that way too, and I'll, help look for him."

So the two look for Xano throughout the room and don't find him until, giving up, Emily sits on the sofa next to the cushion that Xano is behind.

Searching in a mental reading of his house for places in the house where Xano could have hidden.

Leonardo continues his search tirelessly. As soon as Xano arrived, he made Emily happier and now she doesn't want Emily to lose that joy.

Not knowing where to look, he lifts the pillow and looks, puts it in place, and then lifts it again, finding the kitten sleeping, nice and loose.

"Look, love, where Xano was behind that pillow.

Emily looks at the little fugitive, who was sleeping on the couch like a baby."

Emily picks up Xano and puts him to rest on her belly."

Xano walks across the volume of his belly and lies down again.

"I must focus quietly, this bulge is very big and I could fall to the ground"

Cats land on their feet, but Xano is a child and doesn't know that.

Emily looks at Leonardo, and they look at Xano.

" Emily, it looks like Xano will be very attached to our unborn baby.

Emily gently caresses Xano's hair."

"He's still so little, but he'll be an adult cat soon. I hope you like our son."

"Xano, here is a beautiful baby growing up. I hope you become friends. In a few months, he will be born and I want you to ensure his safety."

Xano listens to Emily's words.

"Oh! So that's it; the human will have a baby; that's why that volume in her belly"

"She wants me to be her guardian, but how can I protect such a small being when I'm still a child?"

Xano opens his eyes when he feels the baby's movements in Emily's belly.

"My human said that her baby will be born in a few months; until then, I will be strong, fearless and courageous; yes, I will be able to take care of my human's baby."

Leonardo follows the entire scene of his wife's interaction with the kitten.

"Emily, I'm glad you liked the kitten I brought, he'll keep you company while I work.

Emily caresses Xano's fur, which rests peacefully on his belly."

"Leo, I appreciate you being patient with me, I've been a terrible wife to you."

As he sits next to his wife, Leo caresses his belly, looks into his eyes, and smiles.

"Forgive me, Leo, for being so silly!"

"No, Emily, you weren't stupid, you were just confused, and me not being there with you all the time due to work only made the situation worse."

"But now I have the company of Xano, and I just have to thank you, Leo, for this little creature you gave me as a gift."

Leonardo and Emily exchange looks and kiss passionately.

A kiss that, for him, was the certainty that they would overcome a

There weren't many complications, Emily recovered from her personality disorder and Xano remains by her side.

She learned from one of the ultrasounds that the child she is expecting is a girl, and she and her husband Leonardo are going to name the little one Alba.

Alba means dawn brightness.

Xano, still a child, thinks that since the girl's name means dawn light, her human should give her the name Alva.

"But it's my humans' decision, and if they chose Alba, I'm not the one who should be against that decision." She thinks about the kitten sitting on Emily's belly.

"Xano, you are Alba, you will be good friends, and I know you grew up together. I hope you take care of Alba, my little friend."

"I know that cats have one foot here and another in a mystical world that we don't know about; my grandmother always told me that cats filter the negative energy of the place and make it positive. Is that true, my little Xano?"

"My human, if it's true, I don't know, I'm still too young to know, and as you can see, I have no contact with my mother; She's the one who could tell me if I can go to this world you're telling me about."

She thinks about the kitten as he rests on Emily's belly and receives affection from her.

Emily looks at the clock, it's almost time for her husband, Leonardo, to return from work.

She rests the kitten on the couch.

"Xano stay here, okay?" I'm going to take a shower and get ready. I want Leo to see me as beautiful for him."

Emily blows an air kiss to Xano who looks at her with his beautiful honey-colored eyes.

"I'll be right back, darling.

As she walks to her suite, Emily tries to remember when she first began to have a distorted view of herself."

"I don't remember, but I don't care about that now, I don't want to think about bad or sad things, I want to make up for the time I lost isolating myself from the world and especially from Leonardo, who during that time was very patient with me."

If cats really have one foot here and another in the mystical world, she doesn't know who said it was her grandmother, but if she analyzes her life after Xano's arrival, she will see that her life changed for the better on the first day.

If cats filter negative energy and make it positive, little Xano did it the same day he got home.

Emily showers and gets ready, something she hasn't done in a long time. She puts on so much makeup that she dries her hair and styles it. She looks at the result in the mirror and promises to never let herself be discouraged again. For her, for Leonardo and for her daughter Alba, who will soon come into the world.

Linda leaves the room and goes to the room where she left Xano.

When she approaches the sofa, the kitten sitting there looks at her curiously, her human really is beautiful and bright.

"My human is happy, and I want to see her always like this, enlightened."

"Does Xano think Leonardo will like it? He knows, my friend, it's been months since I've done a presentation like this."

The kitten doesn't take her eyes off the human, she really looks so beautiful.

"Xano can't look away from me, a sign that I must be beautiful, or, on the contrary, I must be horrible."

Emily asks jokingly. She sits next to the approaching kitten, climbs onto her belly and slowly, in subtle steps with her delicate kitty flanks, approaches her face, sniffs and licks with her rough tongue, tickling Emily's cheek.

"Ah! I see you liked my production, didn't you, Xano? If you liked it, maybe Leo will like it."

"What will I like, love?"

Leonardo arrives from work, opens the door and catches the conversation between Emily and Xano, walking.

Emily looks shyly at her husband, as she didn't expect him to arrive like this out of nowhere.

Leonardo is delighted with his wife's production, not that she wasn't already beautiful, but the well done and delicate makeup left her face shining.

"You look beautiful, Emily."

"It's lit and I love seeing that glow that shines on you, my love."

Leonardo approaches Emily, and the makeup highlights her brown eyes.

"Emily, how much I desire for you, my love, and this desire consumes me inside."

Leonardo kisses her and pulls her towards him.

Time stops and they give in to the kiss, it's been a long time since they gave in like that, and it's time to redeem the time that they will be "separated" by the circumstances that Emily imposed on them. Circumstances that not even Emily realized were causing her and her husband to separate.

Xano looks at his humans without blinking, they don't notice, and neither does the kitten, but the little one is filtering the good energy and making it emanate throughout the house.

They don't realize it, because they don't have that worldview, and Xano doesn't realize it, because he's still a child, and he has no idea of the good he's providing the couple.

When the kiss ends, Leonardo takes the risk of inviting his wife to dinner. They haven't gone out in many months and want to have fun and date.

"Emily, are we going out to dinner today, my beauty?"

Surprised by her husband's request, Emily remembers that during one of her disagreements, Leo said that he was giving up on her, that if she wanted to mold at home it was her problem and that he wouldn't condemn himself to it. a life of isolation. But now the situation is different, she wants to recover her relationship with Leo and the time she lost isolating herself, so:

"Yes, Leo, I accept dinner with you."

Before leaving, she gives milk to Xano, and Leonardo doesn't even change his clothes, he leaves the way he arrived in his work uniform, as he was afraid that his wife would change her mind.

Emily didn't question her husband's decision, she just accompanied him.
