Chapter 1

FINN'S POV

After eight years

"Finn. I turned to the person who called me and my lips automatically smiled.

"Vlad! I'm happy to call it too.

"Have you eaten yet? He asked with a smile.

I shook my head and saw that it was carrying plastic and it looked like it was from the famous Korean fast food.

"Not yet. I answered with a snort.

He raised his hand and smiled at me.

"Tada! Your favorite. It's a happy saying.

I laughed and immediately came to him.

"Thank you. I'm happy to say this.

"Always welcome. He's smiling.

He placed it in front of me and since it is already in a disposable container, you just open it and eat it.

"Tomorrow is the flight back to the Philippines. He said to me while eating.

I nodded at this and smiled.

"Yes, it's true, besides, I also missed the breeze there the whole time I was here. I said here.

It's been eight years since I had an accident, mom told me, and eight years have passed since I was here in Korea to receive treatment for my head injury.

"Are you okay? I'll ask you.

I took a bite of french fries noodles and smiled at it.

I looked at the man's face and it seemed familiar and I was surprised when Vlad suddenly changed the channel.

"A-ah, let's just go to netflix. He said to me.

I looked at it with a surprised face and I saw it as if it was confused and sweating.

"Are you ok? I just wanted to ask here.

I look at him and I see his forced smile.

"Y-yes. He stuttered his answer.

I nodded and focused my eyes again on the TV in front of us.

"Alejandro is familiar to me. I don't say anything about it.

"H-huh? How? Vlad laughed and stammered.

I looked at it and shrugged.

"I don't know either, but when I saw his face it was as if I had seen him somewhere. I said here.

I don't know but I feel like I've really seen that Alejandro.

"Maybe he just looks like him. Vlad laughed and said.

I just nodded and he started playing movies and while we were watching, I didn't realize that I was asleep.

"Finn. I turned around when someone called my name.

"W-where am I? I whispered to myself.

It's like I'm at school and I look at myself and realize I'm in uniform.

"Finn! The male voice called me again.

I looked around and looked for that voice.

"W-who are you? I just asked.

Because I can't see anything and the only thing I can see is that I'm at school.

"Finn! Call me again.

I don't know but my feet were walking on their own and they took me somewhere, I passed a path and it looked like I was going to the back of the school.

"Finn, here you eat. I turned to the person who spoke and I saw two men sitting on a big tree and they were wearing the same uniform as I am wearing now.

"Thank you. A man said.

These two have their backs turned and I don't know who these men are.

"Finn, do you know that I want to marry the person who loves me so much. I heard the man next to him say.

I don't know if I'm the Finn he's talking about or the guy next to him and maybe we just have the same name.

"What if the person who loves you is already around you? The man next to us answered.

I don't know but this place seems to be very important to me because there is something in my heart that makes me happy when I get here.

"Why do you want something from me, huh? The man said and laughed.

"no, I'm just asking. This Finn said.

"Hey Finn. I heard a voice behind me again and I turned around.

The image of the place changed and I ended up in a big church.

"Y-yes? The little man stammered.

"Are you sure you can do it? This man asked.

I can't see their faces and I can only feel their tuxedos and their voices.

"I-I don't know. The little boy answered.

"If you can't do it, we can go home," said the tall man wearing a black tuxedo.

"N-no A-alexander, make this day important to Alejandro and a-I don't want to spoil it. The little man said and it was as if he wiped something on his face.

"W-what is this? I whispered to myself.

I felt as if my tears were falling and I was in pain at that time.

"Y-you such a selfish! I turned to one side and saw three men talking and it looked like they were fighting.

"I-I wish, I wish I didn't love you anymore! The small man said while there was a tall man next to him and it looked like he was talking to the man in front of him.

"I-I hope, I hope I don't go to your wedding even though I'll crush it! Said the little boy.

I feel like I'm being hurt by what I'm watching and I can feel the pain that the man who will speak is feeling.

"C-congratulations. I heard him say it and suddenly he ran.

Suddenly the scenario changed again and I ended up on the side of the road.

"W-what am I doing here? I wondered.

I looked at myself and my eyes widened that what I was wearing was different from what I was wearing now and what the little man was wearing earlier.

"W-what happened? I asked confused.

I turned to the side when I suddenly heard a car and it was going fast.

"H-hey slow down! I yelled here but it seems like they don't hear me.

I tried to move my legs to block that car, but I couldn't seem to move it and I was frozen in place.

"W-what is it? I just asked.

I turned back to the car and my eyes widened as it turned right to my side and will fall here at this time.

"A-alejandro. I heard him say it.

When the car passed by my side, everything seemed to be in slo-motion and my eyes widened even more when I saw who was driving that car.

"M-me? I whispered to myself.

I saw the person inside the car and what I saw there was myself crying while holding the steering wheel.

"No! I suddenly woke up because of what I dreamed.

"Finn? I turned to the side and saw Vlad focused on his laptop.

"Are you ok? I'm worried about you.

"I-I have a dream about Alejandro. It's not my own whisper here.

I saw this surprised and suddenly looked away. I don't know but I feel like they are hiding something that is important to me.

FINN'S POV

"You ready? I'll ask you.

I nodded and smiled at it.

"Yes. I smiled and answered this.

We are now here at the airport and we are on our way back to the Philippines.

"Let's go. He said with a smile.

I just smiled and walked together towards the airplane we were going to take.

"Can I be there at the window? I asked Vlad.

He nodded and sat down.

"Sure. He answered with a smile.

I don't know but my nervousness and joy are mixed at these times, nervousness because there seems to be a part of my heart that is afraid that I don't know and happy because I will be able to see the beauty of the Philippines again.

"You look sleepy. He said to me and I turned around.

I yawned, since I woke up from that dream last night, I haven't been able to go back to sleep and I'm trying to think about why I dreamed that scenario.

"A little. I answered this and yawned again.

He laughed softly and I was surprised when he grabbed my head and leaned on his shoulder.

"Sleep first, I'll wake you up when we get to the Philippines. He told me.

I don't know but I just nodded to it.

"Thank you. I said here.

He just caressed my cheek and I felt that he just laughed, I just thought about it for a few minutes and my eyes gave up on their own and the darkness engulfed me.

ALEXANDER POV

I watched Finn's face now sound asleep.

"You're so beautiful. I whispered here.

I suddenly remembered what happened last night when I woke up sweating profusely.

I remembered what happened eight years ago.

I looked at Alejandro for the last time and I don't know if I just rolled my eyes or if he really wiped the tears from his cheeks.

Suddenly my cell phone rang and I picked it up and answered it.

"Hello? I opened it here.

"Hello aunty what happened? Why are you crying? I asked this nervously.

FINN'S POV

I woke up because of a soft tapping.

"Finn. I heard him calling

I slowly opened my eyes and Vlad looked at me with a smile.

"We're here. He said with a smile.

My eyes widened and I looked at the edge of the window.

"Well, yes. I happily said to myself.

I quickly stood up and was excited to get off the airplane we were on

"Let's go? Vlad smiled and held out his hand.

I smiled and nodded.

"Let's go. I said with a smile.

We got off the plane hand in hand and when I got off I immediately inhaled the breeze.

"I missed it. I whispered to myself.

I heard Vlad laughing so I turned around.

"Smile. He said with a smile.

I heard the camera ring on my cell phone so I frowned.

"Erase that. I said and tried to take the cellphone from his hand

He laughed softly and raised the cell phone he was holding so that I couldn't reach it.

"You're so cute there. He laughed and said.

"Vlad, you should erase it. I frowned at this.

"Here's your first picture in the Philippines after eight years. Sambi neto.

I just answered him and rolled my eyes.

"Is the one we picked up already there? I'll change the conversation.

"Yup, he was there a while ago. That's the answer.

Vlad carried my suitcase.

"Come on, I'm hungry too. I said here.

"Let's go. He said to me.

I nodded and smiled at it. We left the airport together and were immediately greeted by a black car.

I just smiled and nodded and so did Vlad and we entered the car together.

"Sir, let's go to the French restaurant first. I heard Vlad say here.

"Okay, sir. I heard the driver's answer here.

I just sat here quietly and watched the place outside. I've been gone for a long time here in the Philippines and I know a lot has changed here since I left.

FINN'S POV

"Hmmm, I think I like it. I pointed to a dish on the menu.

"Do you want anything else?" Vlad asked.

"No more. I smiled and answered this.

A same waiter approached and smiled.

"Can I take your order now sir? Vlad asked with a smile.

I didn't pay attention to this anymore and I took my cellphone out of my pocket and scrolled.

"Where is mom and why didn't she pick me up? I asked here.

"I didn't tell aunt that you were going home today. She laughed.

ALEJANDRO POV

The food here is very good.

"Son. I turned to mom when she called me.

It's been four days since I arrived in the Philippines and I was temporarily here at mom's house.

He stood up and took the cup he was carrying and went straight upstairs while I was left here alone in the living room.

I stood up and went straight to the kitchen because there were no ready-to-eat foods there and I needed to cook.

"What shall I eat? I don't know how to cook. I whispered to myself.

I turned to the stairs where mom climbed.

I knew there was a 24/7 convenience store in the Philippines so I decided to leave mom's house and take the car she had lent me for a while.

It's late at night and all I'm wearing are pajamas. I got into the car and started driving near the convenience store.

It's cold at this time, I'm used to it being cold in Korea but it's different here and maybe that's why I get cold quickly because I'm only wearing pajamas and sleepers.

"Hello sir. The guard greeted me when I entered the store.

I looked at the child they were talking about and I saw a boy and I think he was about five years old.

I opened my wallet and took out a 500 peso bill and handed it to him.

I looked at the boy and saw him sitting here and he seemed tired and sleepy by now.

"Sir, change it. The man said.

I felt pity so I decided to go there but before that I went to the guard first.

I saw other customers look at me and even the one at the counter but I didn't pay attention to it.

I felt it loosen from my embrace and looked at me.

I laughed softly and looked into his eyes, I don't know but I have a different feeling about this boy and especially his eyes, I feel that the boy's eyes are familiar to me.

I saw him smile and I felt even more nervous because that smile, was the smile I saw before in my dream.

My eyes widened when he called me mommy and it felt like my heart was going to give out because it was beating so fast.

"How's the food? I asked this boy with a smile.

I turned to it and felt nervous because it was looking at me seriously.

I looked away because of what he said. He's right, he's been with me for a long time and he knows my every move.
