Chapter 1 1. The Wedding Night

Elian stormed into the wildly decorated bedroom, already peeling off every layer of clothing on him. He threw the million dollar suit on him to the floor and turned to glare at his rival, aka his husband, who just walked past him, pretending as if he wasn't even standing there.

Anger boiled in him as he stared at the broad back of Dex Russo, a dangerous and ruthless Mafia Boss, who was now his husband. The thought alone spiked the anger already boiling in him and before he could think, he unsheathed his dagger and aimed at the back of his head, but Dex turned just in time to pin him roughly against the wall, his back against Dex's very broad chest, and his large, rough hands found Elian's throat immediately.

In such unfavourable state, Elian still had it in him to twist his neck sideways and glare at his husband, whose eyes were filled with a type of craze Elian knew too well, he'd seen it a lot in the past few years of rivalry with him, such a shame that the man he once swore to hate to death was the one he was now bounded to.

Dex twisted his wrist and snatched the blade from Elian's grip, he tossed it to the side and smirked back at him. "You look disappointed Elian.' He hissed, his thumb pressing hard against Elian's pulse just enough to feel the frantic rythm. "Did you think I'd let my guard down enough to let you play your stupid tricks?"

Elian's glare dissolved into a sharp grin and he leaned back into Dex's chest, his eyes dancing with some kind of maniac light as he looked into his eyes, they were nose to nose, eyes to eyes, and lips barely away from each other. Another knife he'd hidden in his sleeve dropped into his caged hand and he pointed it at Dex's torso. Dex looked down and glared back up at Elian.

"I'd be surprised if you didn't try to choke me Dex." Elian said softly and twisted himself out of Dex's hold. He raised the knife and placed it against Dex's chin, pressing it dangerously close to his skin. "But don't get too comfortable. I'm pretty sure you know that already." He whispered in his face and stalked off to the other side of the bedroom and began taking the rest of his clothes off.

Dex stared at him with a strange heat in his eyes. Those dark eyes of his, filled with irritation? Anger? They were glued to Elian's skin as he slowly undressed himself. When Elian was done, he turned to look at Dex, whose eyes were still on him.

"I'll be taking a shower now." He announced, not giving a damn about the fact that he was naked.

"No you're not." Dex said evenly.

"And who are you to stop me?" He sneered and tried to walk past him to the bathroom but Dex grabbed him again for the second time that night, he twisted Elian's arms behind his back, forcing a genuine gasp of pain from him and hauled him on to the massive bed covered with roses.

They hit the bed like two collapsing stars and Dex pinned Elian's wrists above his head with a single hand and rested his weight on him, his breaths came out in short pants as he locked eyes with Elian's crazed filled ones. And Elian, despite being pinned heavily to the bed, used his legs to hook Dex's waist and pulled him impossibly close, his teeth grazing Dex's earlobe.

"You're shaking husband. Is it the hate? Or are you finally succumbing to me?" He whispered in his ear.

Dex smirked and turned his head to meet his eyes, their noses barely inches away from each other, and their lips a breathe away from touching. "Am I?" He asked and made a move to grab Elian's dick.

Elian's eyes widened as he saw what Dex was about to do, and on instinct, he kicked him in the torso and grabbed the gun placed by the side table. Dex grunted in pain at the kick and looked at Elian who already had the gun pointed in his face, he doged just in time as two bullets flew past him and broke the mirror into pieces.

"You fucking bitch!" Dex roared and lunged at Elian.

------

An hour later, the room was a wreck. The bedside lamp lay scattered, blown apart by no doubt, a bullet. The smell of gunpowder filled the room, the roses on the bed barely remained on the bed and was mostly scattered and crushed on the floor. The silk sheets of the bed was half torn and the dressing mirror layed on the floor in a million pieces.

Dex sat at the edge of the bed, shirtless, Elian had tore the shirt off him like an animal in the middle of their mission to unalive each other. He lit a cigarette and let out puffs of smoke, wincing when he felt the scratches on his back pulsate.

'My husband is a fucking animal.' he thought to himself as he continued to inhale and exhale smoke.

Behind him, Elian sprawled on the bed, breathless and bruised. He now wore a bathrobe to cover his nakedness but did nothing to cover the red bruise around his neck from where Dex choked him to get him to drop the gun. He stared at the ceiling with a terrifying contentment.

Then at Dex's bruised back, he smiled maniacally, sickly satisfied at his work. He reached out with his foot and slowly traced the scratch marks with his toe. Dex turned abruptly and smacked his leg away.

He took out the cigarette from between his lips and slowly puffed out smoke, making deadly eye contact with Elian.

"If you try to kill me in my sleep." He started slowly. "Make sure you don't miss. Because if I wake up, you'll wish I'd blown your fucking head off tonight."

Elian let out a loud hysteric laugh. "Promise?"

Chapter 2 2. The Daring Assistant

"You both look...well rested." Jacob, Elian's grandfather, said finally after eating in silence for the past ten minutes.

Jacob, Derek, Dex and Elian sat at the table for brunch. Surprisingly, the both of them had come down at the same time for their late breakfast when it was announced that Elian's grandfather and Dex's Father, Derek had come to see them. And they didn't seem to have any heated thing going on.

Elian gave a wide smile that he usually gave whenever he was planning something mischievous in that crazy mind of his and said in a sweet voice. "Our night went well Grandpa, want to hear the details?"

Jacob made a brief eye contact with Derek and looked back at his grandson. "I'm sure we don't need to hear all of that." He said calmly and Elian just shrugged.

"Suit yourself." He said and continued with his meal, picking at a piece of a rare steak. Beside him, Dex said nothing and just continued to eat.

Elian implied they were fine, but the way Dex sat rigidly with his back straight, wearing a suit like always, though he didn't bother to hide the bruise blooming along his jawline, and the black turtle neck Elian was wearing beneath his leather blazer was enough to tell them everything they wanted to know.

Silence fell again, and Derek took the chance to ask what he's been dying to ever since he saw them that morning.

"So..." he started, eyes flickering back and forth between the both of them. "I assume that whatever disagreement rumored by the staff that you had last night is now resolved?"

Elian have hummed and tilted his head to the side as if he was actually considering the question. Jacob knew he wasn't, he's probably just thinking of something totally unhinged to say, his grandson was mischievous like that.

Elian wasn't surprised that his grandfather knew about what happened between him and Dex last night, the man has eyes and ears everywhere.

Slowly, Elian turned to look at Dex for the first time since they sat down. Dex turned to look at him and their eyes met sharply for a second.

"Not quite. We-" He said briefly.

"We're working on it." Dex immediately intervened, shooting a sideways glare at Elian who just chuckled and continued with his meal.

Jacob lips twitched, though Derek didn't know if it was amusement or something else entirely. "Good," he murmured. "I would hate for this union to crumble so soon after it's been sealed."

Elian couldn't help the roll of his eyes. "Confident, aren't you?" he murmured, not looking at his grandfather.

Before any other person could speak the doors opened and a woman walked in. It was Dex's PA and lead enforcer, she was stunning in every way possible. Bold lipstick, sharp features, stunning figure and cold eyes that has definitely witnessed more than guns and knives in the Mafia world.

"Boss." She called, ignoring everyone else as she went straight to Dex's side. She leaned down, her hair brushing against his shoulder as she whispered something in his ear. Her hand lingered at the back of his chair, dangerously close to his neck.

The sight woke something strange in Elian. It was anger, high boiling anger, and the way she looked at him like she'd known him for eternity.

Dex nooded at whatever the fuck she just said to him, not seeming to mind the way she just practically hogged him.

"You're late Elena." Damian acknowledged.

"I was cleaning up a mess at the docks." She said as she straightened up and gave Jacob and Derek a slight nod of acknowledgment, then her eyes swept over Elian with a blatant unimpressed disdain.

The room went quiet and Jacob and Derek exchanged amused glances, they wanted to see this.

While Elena resumed briefing Dex, Elian dropped his fork and slowly stood up, he walked around the table with a slow swaying steps and stopped inches away from her.

Elena noticed almost immediately and stood to look at him. The aura of pure unhinged demeanor coming off him made her hand move instinctively toward the holster at her hip. A maniac grin spread across his face as he noticed what she just did.

Good. Be scared of me you little bitch.

He reached out and tucked a strand of her hair behind her hair, his fingers slowly trailed back to her throat, lingering there for a second.

"Dex, your pet is poorly trained. Does she not realize she's looking at the man who shares your bed now?" He asked as he maintained eye contact with her. Then he leaned in and whispered. "In case you don't know, now you do. If you ever look at me like that again, I will personally gauge your eyes out and feed them to my tiger pet." He sneered in her face.

Before Elena could react, Elian moved and suddenly, he was holding his steak knife at the corner of her painted mouth.

Dex stood up immediately he saw the knife. "Elian-"

"I know you've fucked." Elian cut him off, looking back and forth between the both of them. "I'm not stupid. But he's married to me now, so don't ever act like a bitch in heat around him in my presence again." He seethed, pressing the knife harder against her skin.

"Back off Elian." Dex snapped.

But Elian didn't. "I don't like sharing Dex." He said calmly, eyes never leaving Elena's. Not my toys and certainly not my husband. Tell her to leave before I give her a permanent smile." He said and lowered his hand, taking a step back.

Dex watched the scene with a glowing heat in his eyes. "She heard you." He said in amusement and looked at Elena. "Right Elena?" He asked and her face went pale.

She realized a little too late, that Dex wasn't going to protect her from this devil he had as a husband.

Then, as if he wasn't the one speaking like the devil just now. A sweet smile overrode his expression and he looked at her lovingly.

"Good, now that everything is settled. Get the fuck out."

Elena didn't need to be told twice.

Chapter 3 3. Quick Trip to a Gay Club

Elian's fingers drummed on the table repeatedly as Marie, his personal assistant, ran through the details of the ongoing shipment of weapons which seemed to be at stake at the moment. But Elian didn't hear anything Marie was saying, all her words were flying over his head as he kept staring at the screen of his phone that was on the table in front of him. It was almost as if he was expecting something.

Well, that's because he was.

And amidst all that, he mind kept replaying their wedding night fiasco. The way Dex's hand wrapped around his slender neck, the pressure, the heat, and most certainly, the way he breathed against his skin.

Elian had always known there was something between him and Dex, but he'd always refused to acknowledge it and covered it with a font named hate. And he was sure Dex did the same.

"Elian."

"Hmm" he responded automatically, finally looking at Marie who was standing across the table, giving him a stare.

He gave her a tight lipped smile and leaned back in his seat. "Sorry, I'm listening."

"No you were not." Marie said with a shake of her head and continued to read out from the pad.

"The shipment from Marseille arrived early this morning. There were minor delays at the port, but everything has been cleared. Though the men you assigned to oversee the eastern district reported increased suspicious activity, I'm yet to get the final feedback. And there's also the matter of the Rinaldi contract. They're requesting a meeting by the end of the-"

Elian's phone, which was resting on the table, pinged suddenly and Elian has never moved so fast in his life. Okay, maybe he has, but that's not the point. The point was the fact that he secretly tagged Dex's suit that morning before they both went their separate ways.

For no reason, Elian found himself wanting to know every ground Dex set his feet on, where he was going, and most especially, what he was doing there. And the tracker he put on Damian was meant to notify him whenever he went out of district.

Though the subtle smirk on his face immediately dropped to a deep frown when he saw the location Dex was currently at. His eyes scanned the screen again, as if making sure he read it correctly.

Velvet Sin.

A soft laugh bubbled in his chest. "Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me." He gritted out and stood up abruptly, alarming Marie.

The chair scraped against the polished floor and he grabbed his blazer, put it on and marched straight to the door, phone still gripped tightly in his hand.

"Elian-" Marie called, quickly following after him. "Where are you going? We still have-"

"To a Gay Club." He replied calmly as he walked out of the office, heading straight to the elevator. "My husband seems to think he can do whatever the fuck he wants despite being married. And I am on my way to show him he can't."

Marie blinked, confused. "Should I be..... worried?" She asked unsurely.

Elian walked into the elevator and turned to look at Marie, who had stopped outside. The smile that slowly crept to his lips sent a chill straight down her spine.

"Very." He said as the elevator doors slowly closed in their faces.

------

Elian strutted into the slightly filled club. His feline eyes scanned the crowd slowly, then he followed the furiously blinking dot on his screen, which led him to an enclosed door in the private sector.

He didn't knock. Because why would he? It was no fun. So he kicked the door open instead.

The first thing Elian saw burned itself into his mind instantly.

Dex was sitting very comfortably on the leather sofa. His shirt was unbuttoned and a lean, half naked boy sprawled across his lap like a blanket. The boy was whispering into Dex's ear, hands sliding on his thigh dangerously close to his crotch.

Elian's vision tinted red, and without a word, he raised his glock and pointed it at the back of the boy's head. Dex's eyes met his from across the room and his eyes widened in shock at the gun pointed towards them.

Dex reacted with a terrifying speed of light and grabbed the boy, shoved him violently off his lap just as Elian pulled the trigger.

The bullets missed the boy's head by an inch, shattering the crystal decanter of the bourbon behind the sofa. The boy screamed and frantically tried to get away, but Elian wasn't stopping, he kept firing again and again and again.

The shots were messy and wild, destroying the room as the terrified boy scrambled towards the exit.

"That's it, run you fucking bitch! I'll fucking kill you and carve your heart out!"

He never got the chance to.

Because, before Elian could re-aim, Dex slammed into his back and wrapped an arm around him like an iron band while the other grabbed Elian's wrist, twisting it with a brutal force and the gun clattered to the ground.

"Let me go! Let me go, you son of a bitch!" Elian screamed and jerked violently. He dug his feet to the floor and tried to throw Dex off. He watched in anger as the door clicked shut behind the boy and the failure made him even more feral.

"You need to calm the fuck down, Elian." Dex hissed into his ear.

"I need to calm down??" Elian asked, scoffing hysterically. He twisted his head and tried to bite Dex's shoulder. "You're the one fucking around not even 24 hours after our wedding. You fucking whore!"

"I wasn't fucking him." Dex growled, tightening his hold around Elian. "He was just giving me a lap dance. Did you really think I'd settle for a stray like that when I have a psychotic viper waiting for me at home?"

Liar.

Dex leaned closer into him, his voice dropped to a low, mocking tone. "You think you're so clever with your little toys don't you?" He said and Elian froze in his arms.

"Did you really think I wouldn't notice a GPS tag in my suit? I knew you were watching every moment I made the moment I left the house." He chuckled.

The realization that he's been played and lured here, right into Dex's sick trap felt like a slap.

"I wanted to see if you'd come." Dex said, a smirk very obvious in his tone. "I wanted to see how long it would take you to start following me around like a bitch in heat. And look at you, I've got you right where I want you, right under my control."

The word 'control' snapped something inside Elian. With a surge of sudden anger and strength, he slammed his elbow into Dex's ribs and his grip loosened enough for Elian to twist himself free and grabbed his gun from the floor and bolted towards the door.

"I'm gonna kill that bitch, just fucking watch me!"

He didn't even take two steps before Dex grabbed him again and hurled him to the sofa, pinning him down with his weight. The impact knocked the wind out of Elian as Dex used his full body weight to pin him down, his hands pinning Elian's hands above his head.

"Look at you." Dex sneered, his face barely inches away from Elian's face. "The big bad virelli heir, behaving like a desperate, possessive little wife. You claim to hate me but you can't even handle another man touching me for five minutes."

Dex's eyes were filled with triumph, his ego was feeding on Elian's undeniable miserableness. "You're so fucking pathetic. Just admit it, you're addicted to me."

Elian didn't argue. He just simply narrowed his eyes, pulled his head back and slammed his forehead into the bridge of Dex's nose with a sickening crack.

Dex grunted at the pain, throwing his head to the back and stumbling to his feet. His hand immediately flew to his face and when he pulled them away, blood coated his fingers.

Dex stood there for a second in shock. Then he wiped his nose with his hand and slowly looked up to meet Elian's heated gaze. Instead of rage, a wild, sickenly twisted grin spread across Dex's face. He looked like a man who had just hit the jackpot.

"That's it." Dex whispered, voice thick with dark delight. "There's my husband."
