Chapter 52: Calvin POV
Alpha Milo was determined to get to the bottom of this shit, or at least get us back. Truth be told, I was dying to screw my girl up. It is the worst news in the world to not be able to fuck your switched soul mate on the girl I had a crush on. I actually wanted to do that.
But no, the universe hates me for having my man dreams become a reality. Son of a bitch, this is the biggest cock blocker ever.
Grumbling to myself over the amount of fuck given to me even as an Alpha, I hear my father-in-law speak out.
"I don't want either one of you shifting while you have changed bodies; the reason being that your souls can stay stuck if you do that. Just ride on my wolf. I know I'm going to need Calvin to act like Stan in the council while Stan helps me get the damn rose, and while we are in it, destroy the rest of them, but for that, we are going to need one major ingredient. I will get the wolfbane, which ironically is in the same building only above where the roses are, ready?"
We both stopped as we heard his plan; it sounded really easy, but there was one big problem with his plan: how the hell was he going to be able to do that when everything in that council would be heavily guarded?
Stan looked concerned at what I was hoping was the same shit as me until he said
"How do you expect this to really happen? We have no scheduled appointments with them.
I let out a breath of relief; at the very least, this idiot for an Alpha isn't that ignorant. But it also left me wondering why we would be discreet about these assholes; wasn't it them that got us into this mess? Alpha Milo did exhale harshly as he replied to us in a no-nonsense tone.
"Listen, I get they act like pretty little bitches, but they have zero grounds when it's an ambush of convenience. This is a war that has been happening for years, but now it's going public, whether they want it or not. As Alpha, you should have known that, or are you still latching to your mom's breast there, Alpha Stan?"
I was not holding on to my laugh at the smack Alpha Milo just served Stan. Oh, this was beautiful. Fuck, this was priceless. I wish I had come up with that one. Oh, this is good.
Annoyed Stan looked back at me, giving me the deadliest glare my expression can give, and damn do I look angry. This is still so fucking confusing. I wonder if I can look like that angry at my mate. The images of fucking her while still in Stan's body came to mind, and my annoyance grew tenfold.
Letting out a breath, I closed my eyes to calm down when Alpha Milo asked me, "You are Gamma Calvin, right?"
I open one eye to reply to him, "Yes, and I'm aware I'm not fit to do the job of an Alpha, but to be honest, both things don't have a good resolution. They need a good amount of exposure to allow changes to happen Not just anyone can get their attention, but if you show yours, there's a real possibility." I open my other eye as I swear my eyes were playing a joke on me.
But nope, Alpha Milo was actually smiling in pride at me. This was freaking me out a little. What did I do? I looked at Alpha Stan praying with my fearful eyes to help me out. If this was a result of his pranking, if this Alpha is a funny guy in putting lower ranks as their sacrifice, I'm going to hang myself.
"You sell yourself short there; something tells me the goddess decided to punish one of you or both of you, but I will be honest, it stinks that you aren't Alpha; you behave better than Alpha Stan does, to be honest."
Those words made Stan give my exact expression of being dumbfounded. I had no idea the expression on my face, but I do know I am really nervous, and insulting the Alpha of my pack is next to death-the worst thing that could have ever happened.
But now that I think about it, it was basically one Alpha vs. another Alpha. Wait, hold up, that's a damn good ass question. As we kept running to the council's estate, I asked Alpha Milo.
"Just to be on the same side, you are Alpha of the Fountain Pack, right?"
Alpha Milo shouted from a bit of a head at me.
"Yes! And you can definitely be Alpha of the Gold Pack! You have my blessing!"
That made both Stan and me stop running to jog behind Alpha Milo. As we tried to shake off what Alpha Milo said, I was not sure how I felt about this change, but then Stan spoke.
"Maybe being a beta would be helpful to know how you can handle the title? You do have some qualities if you can handle gold."
From feeling shocked and surprised, I'm now annoyed at fuck at this jerk; he really can be a prick, I replied while picking up speed.
"You are a real piece of shit for an Alpha, your a sick fucker who can't have a single fucking thought to be supportive for shit, your not a real Alpha, at least not to me, and clearly I'm a way better Gamma than you can even hope to become, when your done insulting me for being with my fated mate then we can talk."
I run pass him, catching up to Alpha Milo, during this I get a mind link from Stan.
'Seriously sorry about that, guess I felt your a rival now, and our mates favorite from what how he has been acting, I though I had a clear shot at being the favorite but I guess I'm not.'
It didn't take us long to arrive, we had all ran in our wolves speed, arriving we saw the gates, but I didn't saw Alpha Milo, looking around me I get another mind link form Stan.
'I met Alpha Milo, we are entering the building, make Alpha Milo proud by putting the council as the culprits of this shit show.'
Letting myself feel in control of myself I walk in front of the place. This was a revolution, a war that we had the advantage, and my mate wasn't going to pay for this shit. Stepping out of the woods the front guards walked towards us to which they asked.
"Aloha Stan, we have word that one of the Elder Council's mates, Madam Precious is missing, have you come to give word to the rest of the council members?"
Hearing their question, I composed myself to reply in a form tone.
"Not necessarily, but I am in need of meeting the council, let me in, or be ready to have me."
The guards didn't try to fight back, instead they gave me the entry, this was weird, weren't they all going to fight me or something?
Maybe my best choice is to keep my eyes open, and on my toes, going inside I saw the big four floors of the building turn on. Inside I'm met with an omega I have seen at the fountain pack, she was not paying me much attention but I did decide to close my eyes and act like I was relaxing when I mind link Stan.
'Tell Alpha Milo there are changes, they have Ben told Council Mate Precious is missing, and there are omegas that work on the council building from the Fountain Pack.'
Opening my eyes another omega walked in to say.
"Alpha Stan, let me take you to the waiting room, the council are waking up, and getting ready to meet with you, please follow me."
We had a small wall to what seemed like a meeting room it was cream, with a wooden table, and chairs, there were some snacks while I waited but nothing prepared me for the inevitable encounter with Sophy.
I may not be very well informed of who Sophy is, but my mate had told me what she did, and I'm more then sure she is not here to be friendly, she was hissing inside the room above the air filters, I look to my left to see there was an umbrella with the j grip on the handle, without warning her of my actions I took the umbrella then looked up to poke with the handle of the umbrella the second I saw her leg I ya keep her leg with the grip of the umbrella making her fall to the ground, and like a professional umbrella knocker I broke the umbrella after hitting her in the head with it.
Chapter 53: Stan POV
This can't be happening. We reached the place that was heavily guarded, but when they saw me, I heard many of the guards make jokes about me and who I am to them. Alpha Milo was giving me the silent treatment, and I felt the isolation of being left out and unwanted.
Silver had told me she grew up in this environment, being subjected to not being good enough but always mocked, abused, and used in whatever ways others wanted to do to me.
Being Alpha all my life, I never had to be bullied by anyone; everyone wanted to be by my side. I was the one everyone wanted around, but now I see I was being simply handed things because they didn't want me to beat them.
I never bested another for personal gain; I was never a shallow person; I was a horn dog for years; I teased nerds and made others walk away with my aura, but I never bested them for being bellow me; yet here I was crouching through the air vents of this place behind Alpha Milo while hearing many talk shit about me being in the building.
Reaching a vent that showed plants, I heard a voice I swore I wouldn't have heard, and it made Alpha Milo look back at me. We stayed still to hear her.
"My son is already here and in tact; I have proof he has completed his bonding with his mate, and that switched bitch isn't pregnant, but I fear those two mothers of theirs will ruin things. We need to find out more, but my son used one of the many hidden powers of his Lycan, the little asshole of a son!"
Sally said with full-blown anger and sarcasm laced in every word she said to the goddess only knows, but I wondered why she was here and why she was annoyed that I was a Lycan.
Not long after hearing her, I heard her again.
"His father never gained his Lycan, and it took him little time to learn why, but it was after all too late, and now we need to make sure this plan works; the minute we find that damn wolf, the minute we have all the cards."
Finding the wolf Which wolf? Was my mother trying to find the same wolf we have been told to find?
"And that would be? I have helped you this far, but only because I know that power can belong to me and only me."
I heard a very angry Beta Francis say that asshole was helping my mom all this damn time.
"Yes, yes, you will, but we need that wolf; she is a unique wolf that will get me the one I need. The moment I catch her, I will use her to summon the goddess herself to trap her in that wolf, and then I will kill those two switching wolves of silver and gold to not only switch her soul to mine but to kill her conscience within my body with the dagger made from the swapping wolves bones, never allowing the powers of that damn goddess to leave; it's the perfect plan."
And her words gave me the rage I had never felt in my heart to almost come out. My claws extended, and my wolf was searching to be let out; he wanted her neck for threatening to kill our mate.
Yet Alpha Milo was also holding himself back from the destructive force of his own wolf, for my mother threatens to kill his daughters, and in all honesty, he will get to do what he wants with her dead corpse when I'm through with her first.
I saw Alpha Milo was losing his control, so I placed my hand on his leg. That helped him start to calm down until we heard Francis.
"And I will get your son's Lycan the same way, right?"
We both heard a hard hit and a bigger sound of something, probably a desk falling down, followed by my mother growling in a protective manner.
"Just because my mate was chosen and I gave birth to his pup doesn't mean my pup is up for grabs, you mutt!"
Francis took steps back as he heard the words from my mother. Normally, I would have felt flattered, but she is way over her head to believe this is the right idea, and now I am questioning more how my dad didn't see this to begin with.
"If I hadn't swiped with Silver Wolf, I wouldn't have had this chance to move forward! But unlike my chosen mate, when he figured out I'd only after power, not a happy ending, I would have fucking killed them all, but then I wouldn't be able to get my hands on the goddess herself; it was almost perfect if only the children would have not been blessed; Selene had given the power to the wolves of those asshole kids!"
Another band was heard loudly when Alpha Milo started to crawl out of the vent to the room ahead, while I kept hearing my mother talk with Francis.
"Well, we have your son in the waiting room; we sent the one elder who is not aware of either of us staying here, but there is one thing that happened in the Gray Pack that I need to tell you."
Foot steps were heard, then Francis started to talk again.
"Every last mole we had has disappeared out of the blue, and that happened after a calling of some sort took place in the hospital. I'm more than sure Maranda and Miranda were there with Alpha Milo, along with Gold, Silver, and your son, but I could have sworn there was another person there. I went to talk to Alpha Sam, to everyone else who is associated with our own moles, but no one was there, and get this."
My mother sighs in annoyance at how Francis is slowly giving the updates, and I see Alpha Milo take a dozen blue roses in his hand, then run to take a sac he found in the trash to wrap the plants up, when I heard Francis talk again.
"The Fountain Pack actually took their things to leave back to the Gold Pack; there is hardly anyone there now, and we can use the last of the information from the journal of the Silver Pack to find the wolf; it is what the journal has stated prior, but we need it to be a third quarter of a Blood Moon and the other of a Crescent Moon; only then can the powers of both wolves be at their strongest point to summon the damn wolf; remember, it's unique purple with pink shades of color is what makes it different."
Hearing this, I quickly decided to mind-link Calvin; he has to know as much as possible before we head out.
'Calvin!'
'Apples, everything okay?'
'No, we need to leave, and you need to get out of there, My mother is here with Francis, but we need to send some of our men to the fountain pack, We can't allow my mother to get there, Leave the building as soon as possible Make an excuse like my mate is sick, Anything. Just get out of there!'
'Oh, I'm getting out of here alright but I'm leaving with a traitor, and I'm more than sure my mate will appreciate my hard work, I'll meet you both at the fountain pack, I think that's where we will have more answers then we just got.'
'Alright, see you there!'
We both end the mind link to then have Alpha Milo look at the vent I'm still in. I crawl towards him, and getting out, I see he has gotten gasoline and is holding a match in his hand. He gave me the roses and then took a match out.
"I linked Calvin; we are meeting at the Fountain Pack with a traitor, and I know what the wolf the moon goddess wants us to find looks like, and when I find her, I'll go to the door to get a head start, or do you want me to start rubbing inside the building with more gasoline?"
Alpha Milo looked up at me and asked.
"There is no more gasoline unless we go in the garage, but I don't know how to get in there; if you can, I'll follow your lead."
I gave a small smile as I knew exactly how to get in. The door to the garage of this place is next to the exit. We both jogged to the door, and I inserted the digits of my pack. Once it opened, we entered to grab gallons of gasoline, and as we started to run all over the building, we both left the building unharmed.
"Hey! What you two are doing!"
A warrior spotted us when Alpha Milo took the match from earlier and dropped it. The fire ran fast inside the building, burning everything, but many from the inside ran out, and one of them was my mother's wolf.
"Shift and let's go to the pack now!"
Alpha Milo shouted,, and we both shifted to run to the Fountain Pack.

Chapter 54: Marcela POV
I knew where we were headed. I did not know what we were about to do, but I was curious. Seeing my mom being close friends with Luna Miranda made me happy.
These two have known each other since they were young. They did some shady stuff with each other. It hurts my mom, but Luna Miranda is exceptionally kind. I liked seeing them get along. I hope Silver and I get to that level one day.
Settling in the middle of the ballroom, I'm a bit confused as this is an enclosed space, and there are a lot of valuable decorations in this room for two werewolves to be shifting.
Luna Miranda saw my look and said, "Don't worry. We need to be in a private, enclosed area for now. We would have gone to the Gold pack, but we don't know how many moles it contains. That's why I'm sure Milo will send your mate to clean the pack house before we continue practicing. For now, we are alright." I nodded, but knowing my mate, he might have stayed in his mind to which I took the time to link those of this pack.
'Has Alpha Stan been commanded to have the Gold Pack swiped from moles?'
'Luna Silver, we have been working on that, I haven't been able to reach Alpha Stan, but as long as you are around and in good health, I will keep you posted.'
'Okay, thank you. I'm in the Gray Pack ballroom with Gamma Gold; also, we are with both Luna from the Gold Pack and Fountain Pack. Inform us of anyone as we aren't expecting company, but we are in a thread of starting a war.'
'Yes, Luna.'
The link closed from the conversation of the head warrior of the Gold pack, and as I did, my mother spoke.
"I must say I'm proud of your progress, my baby. You have proven to be a perfect Gamma. Now, let's work on getting your wolf strong."
She smiled in pride alongside my body that held Silvers's soul, and I looked at a very annoyed Silver; I didn't know why she was annoyed, but I had enough of her sour face.
"Miracle, if it's so hard for you to see that holding onto grudges will only kill the chances of getting back on our bodies, I swear I'll beat you up for not letting go!"
I saw how her face started to change to my angry expression, to which my mom decided to intervene.
"Miracle, please calm down. Your sister is right. One of the things a soul can be intoxicated with is anger, rage, grief, vengeance, and depression, which can cause the soul to retract, to the point of starting to dissolve as it's not in the body it should be."
Oh shoot, that's right, Silver had a whole different name, Miracle. I should help her get used to her name, as Silver could be a big red flag, or at least that's what I think. Thinking a little bit about the names after hearing my mom explain about souls, I was starting to think our last names weren't just names.
Miracle rest, lied my mom with anger in her facial expressions, making me place my hands in fists. This bitch wants a good smack on my rented body.
"I don't have to obey a name I just heard today. All my life, I was called Silver. Leave my name as it is! Why call me what a woman who abandoned me named me? Just leave it alone and teach us how to return to our bodies!"
Luna Miranda took this moment to say something that made her snap at my mom.
"Miracle is the name you were denied by people who made mistakes and others who never had good intentions. If you let your soul be consumed by hate, then you will stay right where you are, and nobody can do a thing about it."
Miracle looked back at my mom to shout, "That's right, you were the reason my life was worth only being bullied! You weren't a Luna you were a bully! And you showed Marcela the same ways that led to built in me the hate I'm now showing!" My mom looked at me, confused, which I clarified before Miracle's anger took over.
"I chose Alpha Stan as my mate. And it wasn't till we swapped souls with the moon goddess that we found out who was our fated mates. I said I was sorry. I have taken my role to be Gamma excellent, but nothing I do makes Miracle believe I mean well."
My mom then spoke in a hurtful to me as she took me in a hug, "I understand. Luna Sally made me do the same thing to Alpha Milo, and he hated me for it, too. Luna Miranda was hurt just as much as I had hurt Milo, but Milo had a wolf who didn't belong to him. he couldn't leave Milo, or they both would die. He insisted on not allowing the anger to destroy him, or they would die. It can kill you if you don't let go, and I'm proud of you, Marcela, for not allowing the pain to settle. That's why Sally wanted to have them both die because her fated mate had lost his wolf, and she lost the chance to be an actual Luna."
I looked at my mom, a bit taken aback. Sally had a mate who had no wolf?
My mother looked at me, a bit mixed in her emotions, as she took a strain of my hair; he said, "he is alive, but his wolf had been taken as way from her manipulative ways in allowing that rose to be grown, he might be the one behind everything because we have heard him." My mom looked at Miranda with anger in her eyes.
Both our parents were over with Sally, and I was not too fond of one, but knowing Miracle had been calling my mom out for her ignorance, when I looked back at Miracle, she was thinking about something that I think I knew what it was without her knowing.
"Miracle Silver suits you better than plain Silver, and if I could not do what I did, I would. If I knew everything was all Luna Sally's fault, none of this would have happened. We would have found our fated mates differently, but I wouldn't have laid a finger on you, Miracle."
Miracle looked like she was about to cry, and I felt terrible to have her start to call. I knew this was harder on her because she suffered the most from everything. I didn't care how girly I looked, and I didn't want her to cry.
Letting go of my mom, I ran to Miracle. I knew she deserved better, but I knew it would hurt me more if someone else gave her the affection of a sibling. If it wasn't for me, I knew it would have stung like hell.
And for this, I will keep trying to be better for her, keep being a better sister and a better friend, and work with her to achieve everything we couldn't achieve alone.
Reaching her, my body started to shine gold. Extending my hand to get Miracle, it began to shine Silver, touching Miracle. I felt the same way I always felt when the rollercoaster would stop suddenly and then pull me forward with force.
Opening my eyes I was looking at Silver, and beside her was her mom, I looked behind her to see my mother with a pride expression in her face, it's here when Miracle and I hear Miranda say with a squeal holding her hands to her chest in two tiny fists.
"They did it! They did it! Our babies did it!" She fist pumps the air above her while she adds, "Yes!" I chuckled at her actions of enthusiasm.
Looking back at Miracle she was moving her hands around examining her hands like a five year old child, furrowing her eyebrows she said.
"How is this possible?" She looked at me and I shrugged my shoulders to hear her add while she pointed at me, "I was you, and now I'm me?" Luna Miranda calmed down enough to answer me.
"Your souls embraced their emerge of healing, and by allowing yourselves to heal you have allowed the souls to exchange to contribute to their real bodies! This is what Maranda was talking about!"
I looked back at my mom who was chocking up on her proud face, I felt like a million dollars to know this is what we had to do to stay in control of this power, but it also terrified me to know it could kill me at the same time.
