Chapter 1 WD

Chapter 1

"Please! Please don't do this now... I am not ready." She pleaded desperately, trying to stop the man from tearing off her clothes.

"You have never been ready, I can no longer hold back" the man groaned, his voice filled with determination.

"Please! At least not now" she tried to beg more maybe he would listen but it was in vain.

"No! Now, you'd better pull yourself together and lay sexily on the bed for me or you are really going to hate this moment"

"No! No! No!" She shook her head, trying to stop him but he would not listen and raising his hands up, he slapped her hard, making her fall to the bed that was behind them.

Her body collapsed into the soft material with a gasp followed by cries as she rubbed her palms together, begging him to leave her alone.

"You have been my girlfriend for six months! Six months and you do not want me to have sex with you?! You must be kidding" he grunted as he tied her hands tightly with his tie that had been thrown on the bed few minutes ago.

Pressing her roughly down to the bed, he jerked her ripped shirt off her body and began to press her body roughly.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as he pulled down her panties with quite a lot of effort.

In the process, her kicking leg hit his face and he gasped, then spat on her.

"Hit me one more time and you are not going to like me ever again!!" He pushed down his trousers and pulled himself in between her legs as she tried weakly to get her legs closed but she was too weak against the bigger man.

He pulled his way through and let his manhood drive into her virgin pussy, breaking her and tearing her apart.

"Aaaaaargh!!!"

She let out a loud scream.

*

"Aaaaaargh!!!" She screamed as she woke up from the dream.

She was sweating profusely and panting heavily when she woke up. She ran her hands over her body and was relieved that she was still totally clothed.

Her alarm went off at that minute and she turned it off with still heavy breaths. She got off her bed and opened the curtains for light to shine into the room before stepping in front of the only mirror in the room.

She checked her neck and found that the bruise was still there from the rape incident after all it had only been just a week since she had been raped by her now EX boyfriend, Lucas.

She hated him so much and wanted to kill him if she could. He had not only had sex with her forcefully, he had made her first time hell, he had made her start growing afraid of sex and still yet after all of this, he had broken up with her right after the sex with the most hurtful words ever.

The sex, the breakup or the hurtful words... She could not say which was more painful.

"The only reason I was after you was because I wanted to get in between your legs and now that I have done so, it's nothing magical or pleasing, you are just like every random pussy"

She blinked back the tears that were gathering in her eyes as she recalled the words of her ex boyfriend.

"I am the fool but I will never be a fool again" she mumbled and let her hair down to cover the bruise on her neck.

The one she hated the most was him, her ex boyfriend, Lucas and the concept she hated the most since that ugly event was love. After all, if it was not for love, they would never have come close enough for him to be able to take advantage of her.

She gulped hard, vowing once more to do away with love.

She stepped away from the mirror and head into her bathroom to get ready for the day's work at the restaurant.

She was Lucienne Gray, 26 an orphan with no single relative, she hardly felt love all her life and the one time she thought she felt it had ended last week, she worked at Creamy Restaurant, a restaurant that was not too far from her home, there was not much details about her, to her, she was just one insignificant person in the midst of billions of people in the world.

She finished taking her bath in no time and dressed up randomly after which she made use of some makeup to cover up the bruises that she had.

When she was sure that the bruises were properly covered, she picked her bag and her phone, checking her mail as she stepped out of her room, there was no messages for her, she sighed softly like she had been expecting a message.

Well, she had been, after all she had applied for the position of a secretary at the Winston Corporations.

"Maybe I am just as unlucky as I have always been and still can't get this job" she mumbled and stepped out of her home only to find out that it was cloudy.

It definitely was going to be a rainy day, she stepped back into her home and moved over to the umbrella in her home.

She reached to pick it but hesitated, that jerk, Lucas had bought the umbrella for her and she wanted to rip the umbrella apart at that moment but she knew she needed to use it for the day.

She'd better keep it and save the money for getting a new one.

With a sigh of resignation, she picked the umbrella and stepped out of her home, locking the door behind her.

She walked through the streets and got to Creamy Restaurant in no time but she was a bit too early and her boss was not there, the restaurant was still locked and she had to stay outside, holding the umbrella to shield herself from the rain that had just started.

A few minutes later, a man dressed in all black and wearing a face cap approached her and Lucienne could only wonder what the shady man was doing, walking up to her.

"Who are you?" She asked the man when he was close enough but he said nothing.

The streets were pretty dry, perhaps due to the fact that it was raining, Lucienne panicked slightly, it was obvious to her now that she was growing afraid of men rapidly.

Her hands trembled slightly and the umbrella dropped from her hands, rolling over to a spiky wood that stabbed into it but Lucienne cared less about the umbrella at that minute.

"Do you have coffee?" The man finally spoke up.

"Ugh?"

"I want coffee, do you have coffee?" The man reiterated and she let out a sigh of relief, knowing that the man was just a customer.

"We are not opened yet sir so the answer is no"

She still could not get a glimpse of the man's face as the man kept his gaze down and his face cap helped with it too.

The man looked over to umbrella and walked over to a black car, which made Lucienne conclude quickly that black was the man's favorite color.

She watched the man open his car and bring out an umbrella, he returned to her and stretched the umbrella to her.

"Ugh? Thank you so much but there is no need for it" she tried to refuse but the man simply dropped the umbrella on the floor beside her.

"Next time, hold onto your things properly, who knows what next you might damage" with those words, the man turned and left for his car.

Lucienne looked towards the damaged umbrella.

"Good riddance" She mumbled.

Lucienne bent down and picked the umbrella up, there were two letters on it.

WD.

"WD? Weird but nice" she pressed her lips into a thin line as she watched the black car zoom away.

Chapter 2 Lucas

"I am almost there" Damien ends the call and focuses once more on driving, the face cap he had on earlier was now in the backseat and his face was revealed now.

He had a face close to what he called perfection, he had small eyes, one that could hardly be seen when he laughed really hard but it had been long since he had such laughter so that didn't happen regularly, he had a pointed nose that trailed down to small, pinkish lips, his hair was jet black but his hair never maintained one color for too long, he usually dyed it different colors when he felt like.

He would definitely not call himself someone crazy about fashion but he always made it a point to dress well, his clothes were of high quality, that was sure after all his company was the biggest in the whole of the city.... Winston's Corporations.

He parked the car in the car park of the company, stepped out of his car and proceeded to his office with a briefcase in his right hand.

He got into the company with fast but still yet calm steps. The place went silent as everyone hurried up with their job and tried to seem busy even if they were not.

He got into his office and settled himself down into his seat.

"Good morning and Welcome boss" his personal assistant greeted him, it was a male and he was almost always with his boss.

"Get me a cup of coffee" Damien requested without giving a response to the greeting of his personal assistant. Derek, was used to it however and hurried out of the office to get what his boss wanted.

Damien Winston, 28, CEO of Winston Corporations, he came from the biggest family in city and was popular amongst girls, one of the reasons why there was always a face cap in his car.

He was the no 1 bachelor of the city, every girl wanted him, a lot of them came to Winston's Corporations to work because of him.

He picked up a file and ran his eyes through it, his brows furrowed, an evidence that he was not satisfied with the document.

Derek walked in just right then and placed the cup of coffee on the table.

"What's this?" Damien asked, pushing the file to Derek.

Derek pressed his lips into a thin line, knowing that he was displeased already.

He opened the file.

"It is the contract we prepared for the partnership between we and Tustin Corporations" he replied.

"Derek... You prepared a contract and it already has two visible typographical errors and what is with the third clause?" He asked and Derek quickly glanced at the third clause but could find nothing wrong with it.

"I... I can't seem to find out what is wrong with it" he mumbled.

"Leave with it, only come back when you have figured out what is wrong with it" he dismissed Derek.

"Yes sir" Derek replied and walked out of the office, still trying to figure out what was wrong with the third clause.

Damien sighed softly and shook his head before taking a sip of his coffee and burying himself in his laptop.

"Hello brother!" He heard a loud and annoying voice.

Damien groaned and reluctantly raised his head up to see the guy who had called out to him, Lucas Winston, his elder brother.

"Lucas" he called.

"You should at least give a little bit of respect" Lucas said to him, taking the seat.

"As you can see, I am busy and I do not want to get involved in any chit chat with you" he diverted his attention back to the laptop but Lucas pulled the laptop away from him.

"I am here to congratulate you on your upcoming wedding" Lucas gave him a shrewd smile.

"Thank you brother. You should also settle down soon else you are going to die on top of a lady soon" he replied.

"Thanks for your concern little brother" Lucas replied with a fake smile and then leaned back into the chair he was seated on, his eyes roamed around the room with a soft smile.

"This place would be mine very soon" Lucas declared.

"Enough of your fantasies, Lucas"

"Oh, that is what you think they are? Fantasies? I bet you'd be surprised to see those fantasies come true then" Lucas moved closer to where Damien was seated.

Damien only gave a fake smile in response.

"I think you should be acting on those fantasies now or it is never going to come true" he added.

"I am already acting on them, I am going to take away everything from you, everything you have ever owned, be careful, I might take away your wife" he smirked at Damien.

"Lucas, you have always been the loser. At home, when we were little, you were a loser, at academics, you were the loser, sports? You were the loser and now business, you are still the loser. Learn to be comfortable with being the loser, maybe that way you would be able to become the winner of losers"

Lucas gritted his teeth and grabbed the collars of Damien who did not even move a muscle.

"One day, you will grovel on the floor in front of me, regretting that you ever said all of those shitty words!" Lucas let go of his collar and stormed out of the office.

Damien adjusted his collars and looked towards the door through which Lucas had just exited.

He gave his eyes a small roll and moved back to get working but his phone rang.

He groaned and regretted not turning off his phone earlier.

He picked the phone, the caller was his mum.

He picked the call and placed it on speaker.

"Hello mum"

"Hey son"

"I am at work mum, what do you want to tell me?" He asked, his tone quite impatient.

"Remember that you have to go visiting the Hillards tomorrow morning and have your first meeting with your future wife"

"I know mum even though you know how much I hate it to get married, especially to someone I have never seen"

"This is all for the company, you should know that"

"That is the only reason I am doing this"

"Loosen up when you go over there tomorrow and ensure that you get them a gift or two"

"Sure" he ended the call and immediately turned removed his private sim from the phone, dropping the sim on the table and finally being able to concentrate on his job or maybe he still was not able to focus completely, not when he had a fake marriage on the way.

Chapter 3 Hang On

Cherry had been in her room all day, she had been sulking in the room due to the fake marriage that her parents had arranged for her but she knew that she could not escape the marriage, after all, this had been her destiny all her life.

She was getting married to Damien Winston, but definitely not for love. Her parents did not care about her loving him or not too, she had a task to fulfill in the home of Damien Winston, she was to get rid of him one way or the other once she had become his bride.

She either had to kill him directly, paving way for his elder brother to get the position of the CEO or she had to figure out a way to get him to transfer his shares to her family.

In whatever way, she was marrying him to ruin him.

"Cherry" She heard the voice of her maid who was more like a female bodyguard to her, Diana.

Cherry however gave no response to the calls from Diana.

Even though she had been informed about this marriage three years ago by her father, and she had been preparing for it but now that it was close to happening, she felt weirdly uncomfortable.

"Cherry" she heard the deep voice of her father come from the door and she sighed softly.

"Father" she called in response and got out of bed to open the door for him to step in.

She loved her father a lot and her mother? Well, she had none but she had a step mother and a step sister.

She unlocked the door and let her father in.

"How are you feeling? Gosh! You look so weak and frail" her father was clearly worried about her health.

Cherry had not had a thing to eat or drink since the day before.

"She has not eaten anything for a day now" her body guard like maid informed her father.

"And you have been watching her?! Go and get her something to eat right now!" He ordered and she scurried out leaving just Cherry and her father in the room.

"Cherry" her father called softly, placing her hands in his.

"We have talked about this over and over again, I do not think there is reason for us to talk about it again. The Winston family is the richest in the city, we are the third richest but you know that..."

"Being anything apart from the best is never an option" Cherry completed the words of her father.

"You are so smart! We can only reach the top through the Winston's family and I know all that I have done to make sure that this marriage works out, you have to make Damien fall for you. I know how wise you are, Cherry, that is why I trust you to know how to get things through with Damien Winston. I know you are going to find a way to get him to transfer some of his shares to us" he replied.

"But what about killing him?" Cherry asked.

"You will kill him only when we have exhausted all of our options."

"I have an idea... Once you get there, try to find any sort of dirt on him, if you are able to find something on him, it would definitely make things easier for all of us" he replied her.

"I will do that, dad" Cherry replied.

"That's what I want to hear from you" he gave her a smile.

"I will go take a bath" Cherry got up from her bed.

"I would take my leave then" Her father exited the room, giving her the needed privacy.

She undressed, tied a towel around her chest and stepped into the bathroom, she decided to make use of the bathtub but just as she stepped into it, she slipped into the soapy water and hit her head against it, slipping into a state of unconsciousness immediately.

*

Lucienne had a pretty bad day at work, she had issues with a customer who would not stop ordering her around and screaming out for her.

It had taken a lot in her not to talk back at him, perhaps if she had gotten a message from Winston's Corporations, she would have screamed back at him.

"Goodbye" she gave a small bow and waved at her boss as she left for the day.

It was pretty late but it was still yet raining, she made use of the umbrella the strange man had given her that morning and began to find her way back home.

She had eaten at the restaurant and so was just going home to sleep.

She was about few minutes away from her street when she saw a familiar person across.

She panicked.

It was Lucas, her ex boyfriend and he was walking the street with another girl.

She felt her heart tighten and clench in pains. She had wasted six months loving the wrong person.

She looked towards him, perhaps to get a better view of the girl he was walking with but he suddenly looked towards her side. Lucienne panicked once more and sought to find a way to escape from him, she did not want him to see her, she did not want to see the smirk on his face as he told her how ugly and plain she was, she didn't want him to see the tears in her eyes.

She began to run through the streets, taking giant leaps until she stepped into a puddle... No, it was not a puddle, it was a sewage hole that had been left open in the rain.

With a loud scream, she slipped into it and the umbrella covered the sewage.

She struggled, holding onto the edge of the sewage hole tightly till she could struggle no more.

A tear slid down her eyes and her eyes closed as she slipped into unconsciousness.

*

Damien parked his car and stepped out of the his car. He definitely would not have alighted from the car but his umbrella had caught his attention.

He had given it to a lady at Creamy Restaurant that morning. Moving closer to the umbrella, he picked it up and ran his fingers over the words... WD, Winston Damien.

That was when he noticed human fingers holding tightly onto the edge of the sewage hole.

His brows furrowed but then he reached out and with quite a lot of effort, he pulled out the lady from the sewage.

"Hey!! Wake up!" He shook her body but there was no movement.

"Lucienne!" He slapped her cheeks, panicking when he saw her face.

With the look on his face, he definitely knew Lucienne and with that worried look that crossed his face, she definitely was special to him.

He carried her in his arms immediately and rushed her into his car, leaving the umbrella behind in his hurry to get her to the hospital.

"Lucienne, hang on please."
