"Hey babe.." I kissed Eric's cheek and hugged him briefly.

"Hey love, I miss you so much." Eric smiled.

"I miss you too so.. how's Italy?"

"We went here for a meeting so.. we never went out a lot." Eric here is my highschool sweetheart, we've been dating for almost 7 years now and we're getting married in 2 months which is so exciting. Eric has been working with my dad ever since he graduated from business school and my dad loves how he works so.. you know the rest.

"Let's go eat lunch, I'm so hungry." I said and he nodded.

"Let me finish this and let's go out after that.. okay?" He said and I smiled. I walked to the sofa and set my eyes on him. It's crazy that we will be so in love for 7 years and I can't contain my happiness to know that he will be my husband and we will have a happily ever after.

Eric is really sweet, romantic, caring and just everything that you want in a guy.. he has it. I'm one lucky girl who has him. In high school, he's not Mr. Popular and so was I. We both met through lab class and ever since that class.. we dated.

Our relationship has a lot of bumpy roads and we almost break up a couple of times but we keep going strong until now. He proposed to me 6 months ago and of course I answered yes!

"I'm finished.. let's go." Eric stood up from his chair, he walked to the hanger to take his suit. He put it on and checked himself in the mirror. I got up from my seat and walked to him.

"Let's go." I said and he took my hand smiling widely at me. I took his car key and we walked out of the room. We took the lift down to the basement straight to his car. He opened the door for me and I always love it when he does that. I got into the car and he closed the door. He walked to the other side and got into the car. I put my seatbelt on as he started the car.

"So how's work? You doing' okay?" He asked as he put his own seatbelt on.

"Yes, I will have a couple of shoots tomorrow." I said.

"Good to hear that babe.. I'm glad that you're happy." He said and he drove out from the basement.

"I am happy, I can't wait to change my last name to yours soon." I said as we held hands.

"Me too, you're mine." He said as he kissed the top of my hand.

"Forever." I added.

"Yes, forever."

"I'm talking to the new restaurant that we talked about last week. The new brunch restaurant downtown.."

"Oh.. I remember. Let's go there!"

"I am taking you there, you have been talking about it since last week." As usual.. he's the best!

"2 months to our wedding.. can't believe this is happening." I squealed again.

"I'm yours and you are mine, babe." He glanced at me and I just can't stop being so excited for our wedding. I already have this gorgeous wedding dress and everything is already prepared so well.

Suddenly I felt my phone vibrate inside my bag, I took it out and read a message from my dad saying that I have to see him after this because it's an emergency. I raised my eyebrows for it because why isn't he contacting Eric?

Eric can help him with everything right? What kind of emergency is it until I have to get involved?

"We're here." Eric said and I turned my head to the road. He drove into the parking lot and parked his car. He got out first and then he walked over to my side to open the door for me.

"Thankyou." I said as I got out and he smiled. We walked to the restaurant with our hands intertwined. We sat down on the seat near the window as always because I love to look out the window when I'm eating. My mom always does it and it reminds me of her every time.

"So.. what do you want? There's your favorite here.. chicken waffle and strawberry pancakes." Eric said and I looked at the menu.

"I want a chicken salad.. I'm in a mood to eat salad today."

"Do you want to share the pancakes?" He smiled and I chuckled.

"You know me so well.." I said and he raised his hand to call the waiter. He ordered a mushroom soup and chicken sandwich. I told the waiter that I want a chicken salad and Eric added the strawberry pancakes.

"Let's have dinner together tonight, I'll pick you at 6.30?" Eric asked.

"Okay.. and can we eat at-"

"Pottie?" He cut me and I smiled.

"Of course, we can babe." He said and I did a little dance. My head turned around to see the new restaurant and I love the interior so war and the marble tables.. I love it.

Suddenly my phone rang and I took it our from my bag, it's my dad again.

"Hello." I answered.

"Tatiana, I want you to come to my office in an hour. Come here without Eric." I raised my eyebrows when he said that. I looked at Eric and he looked at me confuse.

"Okay.. is everything okay?"

"I'll explain to you later on." My dad said in a panic tone and then he ended the call.

"Who?"

"My dad, he wants to see me later on." I said and he nodded.

"He seems.. worried and panic.. is there a problem with the company?" I asked Eric and he shook his head.

"The company is fine." Eric said and I nodded.

"Okay then.." I said but I still feel so worried and suspicious with dad's action. He never called me with that kind of tone and even forcing me to go to the office.

I stood in front of my dad's office and took a deep breath before going inside. I knocked the door two times and walked in. I saw my dad sitting on the sofa with his eyes closed.

"Dad, are you okay?" I asked my dad as I closed the door. He opened his eyes and he shook his head.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I walked closed to him. I sat beside him and he sighed.

"The company.. is bankrupt." He said and my eyes widened. I was speechless and I know how much this company means to him. It's everything for him and the fact that it's bankrupt broke my heart too.

"How?"

"It's not shocking news for me because I know it's slowly going down but I've been trying to lift it up for about 3 years but it got worse." He said in a really sad tone.

"So what are we going to do?" I asked as I held his hand.

"Mr. Romeo will come in a few minutes and I will ask him to invest in our company and give him a big percentage of the share." I hope this Mr. Romeo will help my dad because or else I will see my dad being sad and broken hearted.

Suddenly there's a knock on the door and my dad got up from the seat instantly. He walked to the door and opened it. He smiled widely and shook the man's hand. I got up from the sofa and walked towards the door.

My eyes widened and I gulped to see.. him. So he's Mr. Romeo. He saw me and he didn't look surprised at all. My dad led him inside and my dad asked him to sit. He smirked at me and then he turned to my dad.

"Mr. Romeo, this is Tatiana, my one and only daughter." My dad introduced me to him and he smirked looking at me. I was trying to avoid his eyes.

"Tatiana, this is Mr. Romeo."

"Deandre Romeo." He put his hand in front of me and I shook it. I don't have any other choice than being polite because he will be my dad's company investor at some point.

"Please sit down." My dad gestured to him to sit and he walked towards the sofa. He sat down, put right leg up to the table and looked at us arrogantly. I sat down beside my dad and I can't believe this guy's attitude. He looked around the office and then he turned to my dad.

"I hate talking about useless things so I'll just get to the point, Mr. Kamerie." Deandre said and my dad nodded.

"I will invest 5 million dollar for your company but I won't give it to you for free. I want 2 things." He said in an arrogant tone. He sat up straight and he turned to me smiling evilly.

"Please tell me.. I will grant your wish." I can't believe my dad said that.

"First, I want 60% of the share for 10 years and I will send 7 of my people to work here. Is that okay with you?"

"Yes.. I can tolerate that."

"The second one.. I want your daughter." He said as he pointed at me. My eyes widen and I got up right away. My anger rises up that second.

"I'm engaged!" I said as I showed him my ring. He smirked and leaned back to the sofa. He turned to my dad and raised his eyebrows.

"It's up to you, Mr. Kamerie. It's your choice."

"Yes, you can take my daughter." My dad said and that shocked me more.

"Dad!"

"Great." He said and he took his phone out. He called someone and I turned to my dad.

"Dad! I can't believe you sell me to a guy that we both don't even know." I bursted out.

"Bring the contract in.." He said and ended the call.

"I don't have any other choice." My dad said without looking at me.

"Dad! I'm engaged to Eric and we're going to get married in 2 months!" I bursted and tears came out from my eyes. I was angry.. my body burned in anger and I looked up to the ceiling.

Suddenly someone walked into the office with a black file in his hands. He gave the file to Deandre and Deandre opened it on the table. He pushed it towards my dad.

"Call Eric.." My dad told me and I walked out from the office. I walked towards Eric's office and bursted into his office. He was surprised to see me crying.

"You should go to my dad's office." I said.

"What? Is there something wrong?" He asked in a panic tone, I dragged him to my dad's office.

"So.. you're her fiance?" Deandre got up from his seat. He walked towards me and Eric. He stood in front of us and looked at Eric arrogantly.

"Who are you?" Eric asked in a rude tone.

"Respect him, Eric! He's our investor and our one and only hope!" My dad bursted coldly.

"What?" Eric asked my dad disbelief. Suddenly Deandre took my left hand and took off my engagement ring.

"Hey!" I hissed.

"What the-" Eric said and he almost punched Deandre but my dad stopped him. Deandre threw my engagement ring away and I looked at the ring on the ground. I was speechless. I turned to Deandre disbelief and he smirked.

"You're not his fiance anymore.. You're mine." He said as he slipped a new ring on me. I looked at it in disbelief. The ring is two times bigger than Eric's.

"You!" Eric was going to punch him but my dad pushed him away.

"You need to respect me, Eric, or else you will sleep on the street tomorrow." Deandre said in an arrogant tone. I was going to take off the ring but Deandre stopped me. He pulled me into his arms and when I was going to push him away, he whispered to my ear.

"If you take it off, your father.. your ex-fiance will end up on the street without their clothes. Do you want that, beautiful?"

"You bastard!" I pushed him and he laughed evilly.

"We're settle then.. James, I will marry your daughter in 2 months and tomorrow she will move to my mansion." Deandre said.

"You! Son of a bi-" Eric bursted.

"You're a really good actor, Eric. You really are.." Deandre said and that stopped Eric. That made me confused, good actor? What does that mean?

"I'll see you tonight, Tatiana." Deandre turned to me and smirked.

"You asshole!"

"Thankyou." He said and then he and his secretary walked out the door with the contract on his secretary's hand. I was speechless.

"You signed.. the contract?" I asked my dad.

"I don't have any other choice."

"You sold your daughter, James!" Eric bursted.

"The company is bankrupt, Eric. If he didn't invest, we all will end up on the street without even a cent to live!" My dad bursted and Eric's face changed.

"What?"

"Deandre Romeo will invest 5 million dollars for us and he asked us for 60% of share only. We will go back to our path, Eric."

"Dad! I'm engaged to Eric!"

"You can marry him and then get divorce." Eric suddenly said and I turned to him disbelief. I was speechless to hear him say that. He was angry 2 minutes ago and now he agreed?

"Eric.. are you out of your mind?" I asked him.

"After the company is stable, we can pay him back and you can divorce him." He added and I scoffed coldly.

"Tatiana.."

"You're not my dad and you're not my fiance anymore!" I bursted angrily and walked out from the door. I left the office and drove to my apartment. I walked into my room and cried my heart out.

"Don't talk to me!" I pushed Eric away and took my luggage out from my apartment.

"Tatiana.. listen to-"

"Listen? Listen? You agreed about me marrying that bastard? Are you crazy?" I bursted angrily at him.

"Tatiana.. listen to me.. listen to me.." He grabbed both of my hands forcing me to listen to him. I pulled my hands away from him and took my luggage with me.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"Away from all of you!" I hissed as I walked into the lift. I pressed the L button and closed the lift door. I walked out from the lift and my eyes widened to see Deandre standing there leaning to the wall. He smirked at me and then he walked to me.

"Going somewhere, Tatiana?" He asked.

"Just leave me alone." I said as I walked past him. He caught my wrist and I turned to him.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"You're my fiance remember?" He said as he pointed at the ring. I sighed and I know I can't run away like this but I need time to process everything. Yesterday was a really crazy day for me.. I can't believe that my dad sold me to this bastard and then my own fiance agreed that I should marry this crazy sick bastard and then divorce him after my company get enough money to pay him back.

"Can I.. can I go to LA for 2 days? I promise I will be back here."

"No." He said coldly.

"Tatiana!" I turned my head to see Eric walking towards me and Deandre.

"What the heck is she doing here?" I turned my head to Deandre when he said that. Did he just say she?

"Let's just go.. you're moving into my house." Deandre took my hand but I stopped him. I pulled my hand from his grip.

"Tatiana.." Eric caught my wrist.

"What is she doing here?" Deandre asked in a cold tone and it made Eric turn to him.

"You! You rui-" I stood in front of Eric when he was about to punch Deandre. I glared at him hard.

"Tatiana.. look."

"Don't even think about talking to me.. we're done." I said straight to his face. I walked out from the building and turned my head to Deandre.

"Where's your car?" I asked him. I turned to the valet chauffeur and the chauffeur ran to take his car. He walked towards me and stood beside me.

"I don't want to marry you." I stated and I turned to him. He ignored me and all I want to do know is to kill him. My phone rang and I took it out of my bag. It's my dad and I turned my phone off.

When the car came right in front of us, Deandre walked to his driver side and I opened the passenger seat by myself. It's not that I want him to open the door for me but he's acting like a cold jerk. I threw my luggage to the back and put my seatbelt on. He started to drive away..

"Where are we going?" I asked and he ignored me once again. I asked him once again but he ignored me.. again. What's his problem?

His phone rang and he put on his ear piece on accepting the call.

"Hey buddy." He smiled when he said that. I can't believe my eyes to see him being cold and then he turned into another person in a split second. Oh god..

"No.. I'm off to somewhere. Yeah.. I'll just see you at dinner.. Hey Crystal.." Crystal? He knows her?

"Okay.. I'll see you at dinner, L. Bye!" He ended the call and threw his ear piece back to the small drawer.

"You know Crystal? Okay if you don't want to answer that.. at least can you tell me where we're going? Are you trying to kidnap me? Deandre Romeo!" I asked and he suddenly stopped his car on the side of the road. He turned to me with his cold eyes and vibe.

"Do you always ask this many questions?" He asked as he leaned closer to me. My eyes stuck on his and I leaned backwards. I gulped nervously and suddenly he pressed the open button of my seatbelt. He smirked and opened his seatbelt. He opened the door and got out from the car.

I took a breath of relief and got out from the car. I closed the door and he immediately locked the car. He gestured to me to follow him and I walked to him. He lead me to a.. wedding dress store. I was speechless. He gestured to me to enter the store first and I entered it.

"Good afternoon, what can we do for you?"

"I want you to find the perfect wedding dress for her." Deandre said in a cold tone and I looked at him disbelief.

"Let us talk for a second." I said to the employees and they leave us alone. I turned to Deandre.

"What's with all this?"

"You and I will get married in a month." He said simply like it was nothing.

"What? Look! I can't marry you! I don't love you and I don't even know you!" I hissed coldly and looked around because I don't want other people to hear my private conversation with him.

"Do I look like I care?" He raised his eyebrows and I was kore than speechless to face this jerk.

"Do you want my dad's company that bad?" I asked and he ignored me. He walked inside and gestured to the employees to help me find a wedding dress.

I tried to look around the store and glanced secretly at Deandre once in a while. I'm planning to run away because I don't want to deal with Deandre nor my dad nor Eric now. I hate all of them. They all treated me like trash.

"I'm smart enough to know that you're trying to runaway, Tatiana. Runaway from here.. You will see your dad and Eric in the street without a piece of clothes to cover them." He said in a cold tone and I looked up to the ceiling.

"What have I done?"
