ROMANTIC DOCTOR
Episode 1
"I'm not gonna marry him mom...and that's final!" Jocelyn yelled, walking away from her mom who followed her immediately.
"You are gonna marry him because he's the man we've chosen for you!" Angeline snapped.
Jocelyn turned around to look at her. "I don't love Adam mom. I don't! Why is it so hard for you to understand? Huh?"
"Marrying Adam will only strengthen our families Jocelyn. It's only be going to increase our fame and popularity."
"That's all you ever care about mom! Why are you treating me this way? I'm your only daughter!"
"Of more reason why we want you to get married to a guy of our status. A guy who's worthy of becoming your man."
"So...it doesn't matter if I love him or not?" Jocelyn asked.
"Get married to him first and you will start loving him after that."
"You are unbearable mom." Jocelyn shook her head and left the house.
*
She got into her car downstairs and zoomed out of the massive compound.
She drove slowly on the road, so mad at everything.
She was only 23 but her mother was already forcing her to get married to the most arrogant man she's ever seen on Earth.
"Damn that b*stard. I don't know why he won't get the hell out of our lives! I don't love him. Is that too hard to understand?" Jocelyn asked herself.
She looked at herself in the rearview mirror and sighed.
Although flustered, she still looked as gorgeous and pretty as ever.
Jocelyn had this elegant beauty that drew so much attention to herself. She has gotten so used to the attention already.
But unfortunately, she couldn't believe that her mother was urging her to settle down with an arrogant cock.
*
She finally stopped the car in front of a house and switched off the engine before coming out.
Jocelyn walked to the main entrance of the house and walked in. She got into the living room and saw two of her friends chatting loudly and having drinks.
"Jocelyn!" Paula and Dianne called, a little bit surprised to see her.
Jocelyn didn't say a word as she sat on a sofa, looking pissed off.
"Are you okay?" Dianne asked, going to the bar to get another bottle of wine.
"It's my mom guys. She wouldn't stop pressuring me to marry that jerk." Jocelyn said angrily.
"Oh boy." Paula mumbled and buried her head in her palms.
Dianne returned with the wine and poured some of the drink in a glass for Jocelyn. "Take dear and come down. You don't have to get worked up all because of that."
"What can I do! That woman won't stop until she achieves her aim! I hate that guy with passion. He's not even handsome." Jocelyn sobbed as she gulped down the whole of her drink.
Her friends sat beside her, giving her the comfort she needed.
*
*
Jocelyn got home and met her mom waiting for her in the living room. She tried walking past her but the woman stopped her.
"Stop right there young lady. Where are you coming from?"
"Where else? I've been with Diane and Paula." She replied.
"After walking away from our discussion? Why have you become so spoilt?" Angeline snapped.
Jocelyn turned to look at her. "Well I've always been spoilt mom because you made that possible. I'm only getting worse all because of you!"
"Shut that mouth up." Angeline warned.
"I'm going to my room. I've had a very stressful day." Jocelyn said and walked away straight to her room.
Jocelyn got into her big room, took off her shoes and laid flat on the bed.
She sobbed, really sad about what was about happening to her.
All her life, she had always wanted a cute guy who would love her so much like his own life.
She remembered her first meeting with Adam and shook her head as more tears came out.
It had been so boring and frustrating with his stupid thick hair and beard.
Although he was nice to her, she hated the way he talked to the waitress who served them.
"He's got a horrible voice!" Jocelyn cried out, kicking her legs in the air.
After crying for a while, she slept off.

***Three weeks later***
Adam Dixon stepped out majestically from his car as soon as his bodyguard opened up the door.
He looked around as he stood, adjusting his tie. As usual, that arrogant look was sitting in his face.
He was standing in front of Jocelyn's house. They were having a date and he had come to pick her.
Adam turned to look at Carl, his bodyguard. "Go and inform my pretty angel that I'm here for her." He spoke with confidence as he looked at Carl.
"Yes boss. Right away." Carl said. He turned to go but the main entrance to the house opened and Jocelyn showed up.
She stood in front of the door, glaring hard at Adam. She came down from the front lawn and walked down the driveway to meet him.
"You are finally here. I was waiting for you." Adam said, moving closer to her.
Jocelyn scoffed and moved back. "Really? Don't you ever get tired?"
Adam's brows raised. "Get tired of what?"
"Showing your ugly face in front of me? I really can't believe you had a meeting with my mom to force me on a date I don't wanna go!"
"You are My wife to be and you won't talk to me like that!" Adam snapped.
Jocelyn stared at him, amazed and laughed. "Wife to be? Me?"
"Yes. You. There's nothing you can do about it. Now get into that car and let's go. We have a very romantic day ahead of us." Adam said, holding her hand.
"Let me go! You don't have to drag me!" Jocelyn yelled, yanking her hand from him.
Furiously, she walked towards the car.
Episode 2
They got to a Chinese restaurant and sat at the VIP room.
Despite all the special treatment, Jocelyn was still looking so mad as she sat across the table from Adam.
"Come on. Forget about what happened few minutes ago and enjoy this moment with me. Look around....it's so romantic."
Jocelyn frowned at him. "When are you gonna understand that I don't like you one bit?" She asked.
Adam smiled. "You are gonna like me after I show you how great a guy I am." He replied, reaching out and touching her hand.
Jocelyn gathered all the patience in her not to hurl the water in front of her in his annoying face.
A waiter came by with a menu, bowed to them before presenting the menu.
"Take your eyes off her you moron." Adam suddenly barked at the waiter who stared innocently at him.
"Excuse me sir?"
Adam jumped out of his seat and gave the young man a thundering slap.
"Adam!" Jocelyn gasped, finding it hard to believe he slapped the waiter.
"How dare you! Do you know who I am?" Adam raved at the waiter who was still covering his cheek with his hand, looking so shocked.
"Get me your manager! You must get fired today!" Adam raved on.
"Adam! Just stop it! Look around...you are embarrassing me!" Jocelyn groaned.
The few people in the VIP were already staring at them.
"I don't care. All I care about right now is this guy getting fired!"
"Then if you won't keep quiet...I'm out of here!" Jocelyn yelled and ran out of the room.
"Jocelyn!" Adam shouted and ran after her.

Angeline came into Jocelyn's room, wondering why she ran into the house the way she did.
She saw her sitting on the bed, sobbing.
"Jocelyn? Did anything happened with Adam? I thought you guys went out on a date?"
Jocelyn stared up at her mom. "Was there ever a day when nothing happens with that jerk?"
"Oh come on, Jocelyn. Not again. Why can't you just get to know this guy once and for all? You guys are getting married next month. Did he tell you?"
Jocelyn gasped, her eyes filled with horror. "What did you say, mom?"
"You heard me. Your marriage is taking place next month. You still have a whole lot of time to get to know him." Angeline said and left the room.
Jocelyn shook her head, shivering. "No....mom....you can't do this to me! No!" She cried.
She couldn't imagine getting married to Adam and living with him for the rest of her life.
It was unimaginable!

Adam came into his room and found his phone ringing on the bed. He snatched it up and frowned once he saw the caller.
It was his mom and he knew exactly she was calling.
"Mom" He said gruffly.
"Adam! You finally picked up today, isn't it?"
"Mom. What's it this time around?"
"You dare to ask me that when you know exactly what I'm talking about? When are you gonna come over to see your son?"
"I got him a nanny, did I not? Let her take care of him. What else am I paying her for?"
"Why have you decided to keep this baby a secret, Adam?"
"Because he's going to get in my way of getting married to Jocelyn. Don't you get it?"
"Why don't you marry Lucio? She's the mother of your child..."
"I'm not getting married to a call girl, mom."
"You knew she was a call girl and still got her pregnant." His Mom taunted.
"I was drunk. Can we drop this discussion, please?"
"No we can't!"
"Then I'm hanging up. Bye!"
"Adam....!!"
He hung up the call before his mother could complete her statement.
He sighed deeply and threw the phone back on the bed before sitting down to put off his shoes.
He was still mad about what happened at the Chinese restaurant.
He couldn't believe Jocelyn left home there. All alone.
He had tried catching up with her but couldn't. He had to go to his office to cool off before coming home.
"I don't care what you think about me, Jocelyn. I'm mad about you and that's all that matters. I'm gonna marry you whether you like it or not!"

**Two Months Later**
Jocelyn stared at the beautiful wedding gown on the coat stand in front of her.
Her friends were with her in her room, getting her ready for church with the makeup artist.
It was finally her wedding day. She was finally going to marry a girl she never liked!
"Cheer up, Joe.... It's your wedding day." Dianne mumbled, touching her cheeks.
Jocelyn stared at her friends and tears gushed out immediately. "I don't wanna marry him."
The makeup artist quickly wiped the tears so it wouldn't cause a lot of damages to the makeup.
"You are ruining your makeup. Stop it already." Paula sighed.
Jocelyn frowned deeply. She knew the idiot would be somewhere now, celebrating his victory. She shook her head, determined to cut short his happiness.
*I'm not gonna let this happen.* She said inside of her.
Since there was so much security that she couldn't escape, Jocelyn decided to do something drastic.
She smiled and looked at her friends. "Can you please, excuse me for a while? I will like to have some moments to myself." Jocelyn said with a fake smile.
"Alright dear. Call us when you are alright." Dianne said.
"Tell Mom not to bother coming please." Jocelyn said.
They hugged her and left with the makeup artist.
Jocelyn stared around, panting.... making sure no one else was in the room.
She pulled out the top chest in her drawer and brought out a container filled with pills.
Hurriedly, she stood up and ran into her washroom with the pills.
She stood in front of the large mirror, breathing heavily as she stared into it.
"Let me see if you are gonna get married to a corps you bastard!" She said through clenched teeth and emptied the countless pills into her palm.
She poured everything at once into her mouth and drank some water, shoving the whole thing down her throat.
Slowly, she returned back to her room. Before she could sit back down, the pills started taking effect.
She gasped, touching her stomach. The next minute, she screamed out loudly as the pain hit her lower region.
She rolled on the floor, dying. She was almost passing out when her mom and other people rushed into the room.
Episode 3

*
"Nurse!! Nurse!! Please get a stretcher! There's an emergency outside! My daughter is dying!!" Angeline cried heavily as she ran into the reception.
The two nurses behind the counter rushed towards her. They got the stretcher and ran out to help the patient.
However, they were shocked to see it was someone wearing a wedding gown!
Jocelyn's face and white gown was full of blood due to the bleeding from her mouth and nose.
"Please stay in the waiting hall. You can't follow us to the emergency room." One of the nurse cautioned Angeline and her friends.
As the nurses were pushing the stretcher towards the emergency room, a guy who was walking by, stopped and stared down at Jocelyn.
He was shocked to see her in such a condition in her wedding dress.
Whatever happened to her? He thought as he watched them taking her away.
The nurses rushed away with Jocelyn while Angeline fell on the floor crying.
"Oh God! What have I done to myself! My daughter! My only precious daughter was gonna kill herself? Does she hate this day that much!" Angeline wept.
Dianne and Paula stood, staring down at her. They were also mad at her for letting this happen to their friend.
"Will she make it! Will she ever make it?" Angeline cried.
Paula sighed and bent down beside her. "It's okay, aunt. Jocelyn is a strong girl. She's gonna pull through but when she does, don't ever chose for her whom to marry." She said softly.
Angeline stared at them and shook her head. "I don't want her to die. She's the only precious thing in my life."
"She won't die." Paula mumbled again.

In the emergency room, the nurses were putting on their gloves, getting ready to operate on Jocelyn.
"Is doctor Philip on his way already!" One of the nurses said hurriedly as she moved about, getting things in order.
"Yes..."
Someone came in and the nurses stared at him a little surprised.
"Doctor Eddie.....I thought you were gonna hand over today to the junior doctor."
Doctor Eddie, the guy who had watched Jocelyn while they were still rushing her in rushed toward the bed and stared down at Jocelyn's face. "I will handle this myself.
"Get me the equipments! Hurry!" Eddie said, opening Jocelyn's hospital cloth.
*
Few minutes later, they had started operating on her, washing the pills off her system.
Jocelyn was totally unconscious, almost at the brink of death.
Hours later, the operation was over and the nurses and doctor Eddie stepped out of the operation room after observing that the lifeline was reading just fine.
The operation was obviously successful.
"She's a strong girl doc. She was brought in, wearing her wedding gown.
"I wonder what happened to such a beautiful bride like that." One of the nurse, Zoe said.
Eddie nodded. "I saw them bring her in and decided to take care of it myself."
The other nurse, Rihanna who's been smiling at the young cute doctor touched his hand. "You saved her life Eddie. So proud to have a doctor like you around here."
Eddie smiled slightly before walking away. "Tell the family to calm down. The operation was successful." The doctor called over his shoulder.
"Rihanna! When are you gonna stop flirting with doctor Eddie? Just because he allows us to call him by his name doesn't mean you can be like with him."
Rihanna rolled her eyes. "You know I've always liked Eddie. Just look at him. So young and successful. He's the cutest thing I've ever seen on earth. I love his curly dark hair so much! He's got this romantic aura around him. His eyes....his way of taking...I can't wait to go out on a date with him!
"There are so many things special about Eddie Wayne. Did you see how miraculous he saved that bride's life? She was almost dead! I can't wait to be his girlfriend!" Rihanna fantasized.
Zoe chuckled and left, going towards the reception.

Angeline felt so relieved after the nurse told her the surgery was successful.
She was still worried because Jocelyn was still very much unconscious.
Jocelyn was wheeled out of the emergency room to another room where she would hopefully regain her consciousness.
Angeline was the first person to visit her. She say beside her, sobbing painfully. "I'm sorry for trying to force you to marry Adam out of my own selfish reasons. I never knew you hated him that much. I'm sorry honey. Just wake up. Your father would never forgive me if he comes back and finds out that something has happened to his only precious daughter." Angeline wept.
Dianne and Paula walked in and were so filled with emotion seeing their friend laying down there unconscious.
"She's gonna be fine, okay? She will wake up." Paula assured Angeline who smiled and nodded.
"She will." She replied touching the strands of her daughter's hair.

Eddie came into Jocelyn's room few hours later after her mom and friends left.
He stood at the door, looking at her. She was still unconscious but he knew she would make it.
He walked quietly to her bedside and stood, staring at her
face and wondering what would have happened to her on such an important day in her life.
He thrusted his hands into his coat pocket and breathed in, liking the fact that the excessive drug in her was successfully washed off.
He's never liked to admire anyone but he found himself, admiring this one.
At twenty five, he owned his own hospital with many doctors, both and young working under him.
His parents were super rich but he didn't depend on them for anything.
Everything he had was out of his own zealous nature.
At twenty, Eddie started working in one of his father's factory even while he schooled.
Eddie was not only handsome, he was a hot cute guy who has all his female nurses crushing on him.
But then, he would never get involved in them because he wasn't really the flirty type.
Eddie raised his hand towards Jocelyn's drip, checking the quantity left.
Suddenly, he felt her moving and looked back at her face only to see her opening her eyes.
"Where...am I?" Jocelyn mumbled, staring tiredly around.
Eddie smiled and folded his hand. "You are in the hospital." He replied.
