Navigating "Another World," a colossal virtual reality game that mirrors our planet's nations as in-game kingdoms, Ryan selects the mage class. Yet, his adventure leaps into unforeseen territory when he stumbles upon a concealed chest containing a magic sword. Thus, commences his journey, unraveling a tale of magic, power, and discovery in a world where reality and fantasy seamlessly merge.

Chapter 1 The Game Begins

Ryan Sartega's life had never been easy. At CSU, one of the Philippines' largest universities, he was a quiet loner, perpetually relegated to the back of the classroom, an easy target for bullies. Yet, amid the taunts and jeers, a spark of excitement burned within him. The announcement of "Another World," the first-ever virtual reality game, promised an escape from the confines of reality.

Ryan had been saving diligently from his part-time job at a local bookstore, pinching every peso he could to afford the coveted gaming helmet. The moment finally arrived when he held the sleek device in his hands, his heart racing with anticipation. With the helmet secured and his heart pounding, he stepped into his room, ready to immerse himself in a world of adventure.

As the virtual world unfurled before him, Ryan found himself standing in a vast, lush landscape. An ethereal figure, adorned in flowing robes and radiant wings, appeared before him. The angelic being introduced itself as Seraphiel, the guardian of Another World, and offered guidance for the journey ahead.

"Welcome, traveler, to Another World," Seraphiel's voice resonated in Ryan's ears, imbued with a comforting warmth. "Here, your path is yours to shape. There are four major categories, each with three main jobs. The categories are warrior, weapon specialist, healer, and mage."

With each word, Ryan's excitement grew, and he hung onto Seraphiel's every utterance.

"Warriors encompass the Shield Warrior, Guardian Knight, and Berserker paths," Seraphiel continued. "Weapon specialists wield the Swordsman, Assassin, and Ranger roles. Healers channel their energy through the Cleric, Druid, and Oracle classes. Lastly, the mage category comprises the Elementalist, Summoner, and Cursemancer professions."

As Seraphiel's voice faded, Ryan felt a surge of decision-making pressure. He knew deep within that the mage's path was his calling. The allure of manipulating elements and conjuring magic held an irresistible appeal. His eyes brightened as he announced his choice, "I want to be a mage. An Elementalist."

Seraphiel's smile was luminous, radiating approval. "Excellent choice, young mage. Now, what shall be your in-game name?"

Without hesitation, Ryan declared, "Kulas."

"Very well, Kulas," Seraphiel nodded. "Your journey in Another World begins now."

In a heartbeat, the scenery transformed. Gone was the lush landscape; instead, a sprawling cityscape emerged. Towering spires reached toward the virtual sky, bustling streets echoed with footfalls, and a vibrant marketplace hummed with life.

Kulas marveled at the intricate details of the virtual world. With a newfound sense of purpose, he navigated through the city, his excitement palpable. As he wandered, he encountered other players, each unique in appearance and attire. The realization hit him-these avatars were fellow travelers, fellow dreamers.

It wasn't long before Kulas found himself in a training area, a designated space for newcomers to acquaint themselves with the game's mechanics. His hands tingled with anticipation as he raised them, summoning a small ember of fire. The flames danced to his will, a testament to the power he held as an Elementalist.

Chapter 2 Everwing City

In the vast expanse of Another World, where nations transformed into kingdoms, the Philippines stood as a sovereign realm. Within its borders lay cities that rivaled the grandeur of any reality. Everwing City, one of the four major metropolises in the kingdom of Phylus, beckoned to Kulas like a beacon of adventure and opportunity.

As Kulas stepped foot into Everwing City, he was greeted by a sprawling urban landscape that seamlessly blended the architectural marvels of the Philippines with the fantastical elements of the virtual realm. Towering skyscrapers intertwined with ethereal spires, creating a mesmerizing harmony of the real and the unreal. Bustling streets were adorned with vibrant market stalls, and the air was charged with a sense of camaraderie.

Having grown from a novice to a level 1 mage, Kulas stood in the heart of the city's training area. He had embraced the life of a dedicated adventurer, honing his magical abilities through battles with virtual foes. As his gaze swept across the area, his thoughts turned to his progress. It was time to assess his newfound strength.

Opening the interface that displayed his stats, Kulas found himself in an RPG-esque screen, reminiscent of a character sheet. His initial attributes, all set at 5 points, glowed softly: Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Stamina. He took a deep breath, his fingers hovering over the distribution controls.

Feeling a unique intuition, Kulas directed the cursor to Agility, allocating his initial five points there. It was an unconventional choice for a mage, but Kulas believed in versatility. Agility would grant him swiftness and nimbleness, qualities that could potentially save his life in tight situations. The interface acknowledged his choice with a faint hum, the points reallocated with a digital shimmer.

His heart raced as he observed the change in his stats. Agility now stood at 10 points, while the others remained at their base value. Kulas pondered the ramifications of his decision, knowing that this divergence from convention would shape his journey in unexpected ways.

As he finalized his decision, a message notification blinked on his screen, informing him of his increased capabilities. His health points (HP) had increased to 120, and he now had 15 points to allocate upon leveling up.

Eager to put his newfound agility to the test, Kulas ventured into the training area, his staff gripped firmly in his hand. The training dummies, arranged in neat rows, awaited his magic. With a deft movement of his fingers, he summoned a torrent of flames that engulfed the first dummy. The fire danced and crackled, reflecting his growing proficiency.

Kulas continued his assault, each spell manifesting more powerfully than the last. He felt the weight of his choice in his stats as his movements became more fluid, more controlled. The fire in his hands roared as he cast spells with practiced precision, a display of agility intertwined with magic that was uniquely his.

As he practiced, Kulas was not alone. Fellow adventurers, avatars of various classes and levels, trained alongside him, their own skills on full display. Bonds formed through battles and shared experiences, evident even in these unspoken interactions.

Chapter 3 Magic Sword Lightning Edge

As Kulas stepped out of the training area, the bustling streets of Everwing City greeted him with a sense of vibrancy. The city's energy was contagious, invigorating his spirit for the adventures that lay ahead. The training area, a place of honing his magical skills, had prepared him well for the challenges to come. Still at level 1, he was acutely aware of the arduous journey that lay ahead to reach even higher levels in the realm of Another World.

As he meandered through the city, lost in thought, a figure caught his eye. An NPC, cloaked in humble attire, stood near a bulletin board. Approaching cautiously, Kulas listened as the NPC explained a simple yet essential task. The quest was straightforward: defeat 20 level 1 redboars and collect their meat as proof of the deed.

With a nod of determination, Kulas accepted the quest, the digital quest log displaying the requirements and rewards. The redboars were known to inhabit a forested area not far from the city, their level 1 status indicating that even these seemingly harmless creatures posed a challenge to low-level adventurers.

Kulas ventured into the forest, his senses heightened as he scanned the surroundings for any sign of movement. It didn't take long before he spotted the first redboar, a stout creature with fiery eyes. His heart raced as he approached, staff in hand, ready to engage in his first real battle.

The battle was a test of both skill and strategy. Kulas invoked his elemental magic, conjuring flames that danced around his staff before unleashing them upon the redboar. The creature retaliated with swipes of its tusks, each clash sending sparks flying. Kulas's health points (HP) dwindled, but his resolve remained unshaken.

With precise movements and a keen understanding of the redboar's patterns, Kulas emerged victorious. As the redboar fell, it disintegrated into a burst of light, leaving behind its meat and a rewarding 10 experience points (EXP). Kulas's spirits lifted as the experience bar in his interface increased by increments of 10.

Battle by battle, Kulas engaged the redboars, the thrill of combat mingling with the satisfaction of every victory. Each defeated redboar brought him closer to his goal of 200 EXP, the requirement for leveling up to level 2. The forest echoed with the sounds of battle as Kulas continued to hone his skills, his focus unwavering.

As he neared the count of 20 redboars defeated, Kulas's steps led him deeper into the forest. The undergrowth grew thicker, the shadows darker. In the heart of this wilderness, he faced his final opponent, the 20th redboar. With his magic and determination, Kulas triumphed once more, watching the creature dissolve into light.

Yet, as the light subsided, Kulas's eyes widened in awe. Before him lay a chest, concealed amidst the foliage. Excitement tingled in his veins as he opened the chest, revealing a single item within. The interface displayed the name of the item in radiant letters: "Lightning Edge (Magic Sword)."

Kulas's heart raced as he beheld the sword, its hilt crackling with energy. The interface presented him with its stats:

•Lightning Edge (Magic Sword)

•Level 1

•Attack: +15

•Magic Enhancement: +10

•Experience to Next Level: 50

With a sense of wonder, Kulas realized that the sword had its own potential for growth, its level increasing in tandem with his own. A surge of gratitude washed over him as he cradled the sword in his hands, its power coursing through his veins.
