Stop!" Shiro shouted, his voice raw, tears in his eyes. But they kept taunting, circling closer. He could feel the energy building inside him, it was getting out of control. Chapter 1 The Awakening

The first punch landed hard on Shiro's stomach, knocking the wind out of him. He staggered back, breathless, the laughter of his classmates filling the air. Before he could react, a second punch caught across his jaw, sending him falling to the ground. The familiar wave of shame twisted in his chest, but beneath it, something darker stirred.

" Come on, freak !!" one of the bullies sneered. "Show us your powers! Do something!" Shiro clenched his fists, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

They didn't understand him so did he. He had always known he was different. Since childhood, strange things had happened to him and around him ; a cup shattering when he was angry, the air going cold when he was scared, his classroom becoming so hot when he's sad...even having dreams that seemed a little too real and familiar. And lately, it had grown stronger, harder to control.

He felt it now, bubbling just beneath the surface. Heat prickled at his skin, and the earth beneath him trembled ever so slightly, responding to the storm inside him.

" Stop!!! " Shiro shouted, his voice raw, tears in his eyes. But they kept taunting, circling closer. One of them shoved him hard in the chest, and he stumbled, his body scratching across the rough pavement.

And that's when it happened.

The ground beneath his feet rumbled, harder this time. Stones and bits of pebbles began to rise into the air, swirling around him. The bullies froze so did everyone, their faces twisting in confusion and fear. They had wanted to see his power, and now they were.

Shiro could feel the energy building inside him, it was getting out of control. He had never felt it like this -- so wild, so powerful. He couldn't stop it. His heart raced as the ground beneath him split, a crack shooting across the concrete, towards where the bullies stood.

The air crackled with electricity, and his skin buzzed with an otherworldly charge.

His mind screamed at him to get control, but the power surged beyond him.

"Run !!" one of the bullies yelled, stumbling backward as they ran away.

Shiro' instincts took over, and he turned, his feet pounding against the concrete. He had to get away too -- away from them, away from the chaos he had unleashed.

He sprinted down the school gate, his heart racing, sweat pouring down his back. His mind swayed, trying to make sense of what had just happened. He knew he had this power-he had known for years. But never like this. Never this powerful.

Buildings blurred past him as he ran, his breath ragged in his throat. He could still feel the energy crackling under his skin, surging through him like some electric current. He had to calm down, had to find a way to stop it before it got worse.

But the panic was too strong. His legs felt heavy, his vision dizzy and blurry. He ran through alleyways, past rows of buildings and streetlights, but no matter how far he went, the power inside him wouldn't quiet.

Then, it all hit him at once as he fell to the floor. His legs buckled beneath him, the strength in his limbs vanishing. He collapsed onto the cold ground, gasping for breath, his mind racing.

The world spun around him, and darkness crept in at the edges of his vision. The last thing he felt before losing consciousness was the gentle patter of rain on his skin and the distant rumble of thunder, echoing in the sky.

**********************

Shiro woke up with a start. His body ached, and his clothes clung to him, soaked from the rain. The alley was empty, silent except for the occasional drip of water from the rooftops. Slowly, he pushed himself up, every muscle protesting in exhaustion. He had no idea how long he had been lying there, but it was dark now, and the streetlights cast long.He needed to get home.

When he reached his front door, he hesitated. He knew what was waiting for him inside-questions, accusations, more disappointment.

He pushed the door open, and his mother's eyes widened as soon as she saw him.

"Shiro, what happened to you? " she asked, rushing over. "Your school called and they said......you ran off" she held his hands looking sad.

Before he could answer, his father appeared, his expression a mix of concern and frustration. Behind them, the usual voices of his relatives echoed from the living room. They never missed a chance to judge.

"I'm fine," Shiro muttered, his voice low. "Just got caught in the rain."

His mom helped him to the couch, her hands gentle, but her eyes were worried. "You don't look fine. You're drenched, and you look like you've seen a ghost. What happened in school???"

"I'm good, really and nothing happened," he insisted, avoiding her gaze. He wasn't ready to explain the chaos that happened earlier -- or the fact that he wasn't sure how he'd stopped it. It's not like they would believe him or anything.

"People are talking, Shiro," his father said, arms crossed, voice hard. "You're drawing attention again."

Shiro clenched his jaw, biting back a retort. What did they expect? He couldn't control what was happening to him. He hadn't asked for this power, this... curse, as they liked to call it.

"He's cursed," one of his aunts muttered from the back. "That's the only explanation."

Shiro felt his anger bubbling up again, but he pushed it down. There was no point arguing. They wouldn't understand. They never did.

His mother touched his arm gently. "Just get some rest, Shiro. We'll talk tomorrow."

Nodding, he stood and dragged himself up to his room.

As soon as he hit the bed, his mind started racing again. He thought about the crack in the ground, the way the power had surged through him like it had a mind of its own.

What the hell was happening to him?

Chapter 2 Revelations reveiled

Shiro found himself in a strange place. It wasn't exactly a forest, but rather a foggy, empty void. The air was thick, almost suffocating, and the sky above was shrouded in gray mist. He had seen this place before, it looked so familiar-somewhere, in dreams or fleeting thoughts-but he couldn't quite place it. He blinked, trying to comprehend what was happening.

Tiny shapes moved in the distance, whispering among themselves in a language he couldn't understand. They were blurry before, like half-formed images in the back of his mind. But now... now he could see them clearly. These creatures were unlike anything he'd ever seen. Small, with brightly colored fur covering their bodies, their hands and legs skinny and delicate. They had two antennae that twitched constantly, and their eyes seemed to glow in the fog. They moved as if unaware of Shiro's presence, passing by him without fear.

Shiro wasn't just confused, he was scared. As he stood frozen, trying to make sense of it all, a small voice broke through the whispers.

"Hey, you!" Shiro spun around to see one of the creatures standing right behind him. It was slightly bigger than the others, but not by much. It had bright green fur and stood on its thin legs, staring up at Shiro with curious, beady eyes.He looked at the creature strangely and reached out, almost instinctively, to touch it.

"Don't touch me! I'm not some object!" the creature snapped, backing up quickly. "I'm Korin. I'm your best friend"

"Best friend?" Shiro said, staring at the small creature in disbelief.

Korin stepped forward, extending one of his little hands to shake Shiro's thumb. He talked fast, his words spilling out like a rushing stream. "Yeah, Best friend, but you won't remember." Korin whispered to himself.

"What... what are you?" he asked in a low voice, afraid that speaking too loudly might cause the creature to disappear or blow away.

Korin crossed his arms and gave him a smug smile. "I am a Frid. We are all frids" He said gesturing to the others. We are guardians brought into the world to watch over Supernaturals, that's what we Frids do."

"But I'm not a---"Shiro was more confused now.

"Yes you are, the powers, the energy you feel..the things that happen around you"Korin explained.

"How do you know all that???"

"I was made for you. I know your name, your life, everything, it's like a superpower of mine."

"This is just--" Shiro let out a shaky laugh. "I must be dreaming..."

"As a matter of fact, you are," Korin replied with a grin. But he paused, noticing Shiro's expression shift as he closed his eyes tightly, trying to wake himself up.

"Shiro, don't-" Korin warned, but it was too late.

Shiro woke up with a jolt. The fog, the creatures, Korin-it was all gone. His heart pounded as he sat up in bed, beads of sweat rolling down his face.

His room was dark, silent, and normal again. He let out a breath of relief, shaking his head. "Weird dreams," he muttered, standing up to head to the bathroom. He splashed water on his face, trying to shake the remnants of the dream. But as he stared at his reflection in the mirror, he couldn't help but feel a strange heaviness in his chest. Something about that dream was different.

"Shiro..." The voice made him jump. His eyes darted around the room, looking for its source, until his gaze settled on the sink.

Standing there, right next to his toothbrush, was Korin.

"Hello, Shiro," Korin said cheerfully.

Shiro stumbled back, knocking over his toothbrush holder, was he dreaming? "I ought to be" he thought, his heart racing again.

"No way... I'm still dreaming???"

Korin chuckled. "Nope. I told you, I was made for you. I'm not going anywhere now that you've allowed me to communicate. You can't hide from me, Shiro. I see everything that's happening to you."

Shiro's mind spun, struggling to process what was happening. "How... how are you real? This doesn't make any sense."

Korin floated closer, his antennae twitching excitedly. "You'll figure it out soon enough. You've got a lot more going on inside you than you think. Powers, connections, a whole world you're part of."

Shiro stared at him, his hands gripping the edge of the sink. "What do you mean? What am I connected to?"

Korin floated down in front of him, his little hands resting on his knees as if he was preparing to give a big, serious speech.

"Listen, Shiro, you're not just some ordinary guy with weird powers. You're part of something way beyond your understanding. There's a whole other world tied to yours, and it's been watching you for a long time. The powers you have, the energy you feel... it's all part of that. Your soul is like a flame relit in a new lantern, Shiro and trust me, the powers you've seen so far? They're only the beginning."

"What do you mean by that? About my soul" Shiro wondered.

"The wierd dreams you often had, the sense of familiarity you felt wasn't just ordinary, you've been there before-- we've been there;me and you" Korin explained.

Shiro' mind raced. "Are you saying... I'm not from here?"

Korin shook his head. "Oh no, you're from here. But you're also from there." He floated back a bit, scratching his furry head with his tiny hand. "You were reborn Shiro, you were once a savior of the Surevaal and- also my best friend" Korin said as his fur changed color indicating he was sad.

Shiro was still processing everything the Frid just told him.

"You've always had this power inside you Shiro but only now is it waking You're gonna witness all kind of things"

Shiro stared at him. "What kind of things?"

Korin's smile faded. " Good and bad. You'll have people who are gonna trust in you and want you to succeed and others that don't want you to succeed. The kind that want to stop you before you realize what you're capable of."

Shiro blinked. "Capable of what?" Korin gave him a long, serious look.

"Saving this world, and the other one."

Shiro stood up, his legs trembling. "This is crazy. I'm just... I'm just a normal guy. I don't want all of this"

Korin smirked. "You're not normal Shiro, you saw what happened yesterday, right? That wasn't normal. You're far from it, Shiro. You're extraordinary, and I'm sorry but whether you like it or not, you've got a job to do, you've got a huge potential too."

Shiro turned to the mirror, staring at his reflection. His tired eyes, the dark circles beneath them, his pale skin... he didn't look like a hero. He looked like a mess.

"I'm not ready for any of this," he whispered, more to himself than to Korin. Korin hovered closer, his antennae flicking. "You'll never feel ready, but that doesn't mean you aren't. You've got more inside you than you know. And whether you like it or not, the time's coming when you'll have to face it."

Shiro sighed, gripping the edge of the sink. He could feel it too, deep inside. The power was growing, but with it came fear, uncertainty, and something darker that he couldn't quite shake."What do I do now?" Shiro asked, looking back at Korin.

Korin grinned.

Chapter 3 Serevaal: The Supernatural World

In the hidden world of Serevaal, a place parallel to Earth but filled with extraordinary, supernatural creatures, The extraordinary world was unlike Earth, but not completely different either. The sky was a deep, shifting purple, and the ground, though solid, pulsed faintly with energy. Tall, sleek structures floated high above the ground, their bases resembling ships or large hovering crafts, serving as homes for the people. They weren't animals, nor were they humans. These were beings of the elements-each one tied to fire, water, earth, or air.

Most possessed the power of one element, a rare few controlled two.

The people lived in harmony with the elements-fire, water, earth, and air.

Severaal had existed for more than a millennium and they had maintained the balance of power, ensuring peace. 300 years ago, a great evil known as the Dark One awakened, threatening to plunge their world into chaos.

The last time this happened, a hero had risen. His name was Elro, the greatest master of the elements. Elro had the rare ability to control all four elements, a gift no one else possessed. When the Dark One tried to destroy Serevaal 300 years ago, Elro was the only one who could stop him. He sacrificed his life to save the world, but his death came with a prophecy: Elro would be reborn when Serevaal needed him again, reborn in the human world. And now, the Dark One had returned, and so had Elro--- as Shiro.

In Serevaal, the Council of Protectors had gathered to discuss the situation. These creatures were like humans in shape and size, but their appearances were otherworldly. Their skin reflected the elements they controlled-some glowing with the colors of fire, others flowing like water, solid as stone, or light as the wind.

A figure stood at the center of the council chamber, his blue skin glowing like water. His name was Zerix, he was a one of the protectors of the Stone of Elements. He addressed the council with urgency.

"The reborn, has awakened his powers, he bears the name Shiro," Zerix said, his voice echoing in the chamber. "The Dark One stirs, and he is searching for him to make use of his power. If he succeeds, we all know what could happen; he will control all the elements, and Serevaal will be destroyed."

The council members shifted uneasily. They knew what was at stake. The Dark One cannot find Shiro now that he's(Shiro) aware of what he can do.

"We must now bring the reborn to Serevaal," said Cora, the head of the council, with red skin that shone like flames. "He must remember who he is and learn his powers before the Dark One gets him.."

Zerix shook his head. "It's not that simple. Shiro has a family there, they do not know he's Elro reborn. He still believes that he's just an ordinary human boy, even though his powers are starting to surface."

"Someone would have to convince him then, we have no time to waste," another council member, Rexar, said, his skin dark green signifying Earth. "If the Dark One finds him first, he will twist the boy's powers for his own ends. He must be guided and protected."

Zerix nodded. "I have an eye on him through his guardian, Korin; he was Elro's guardian too" Zerix murmured. "I know we need to act quickly, but the little Frid said the boy is confused, and definitely not ready."

The council turned their attention to the Stone of Elements, a glowing orb in the center of the chamber that pulsed with energy. It was the source of Serevaal's elemental balance, and it had begun to flicker-a sign that the Dark One's power was coming soon.

"He needs to come here sooner, Zerix," Cora said. "He is the only one who can stop the Dark One, just as he did 300 years ago."

"Lest I remind you, he is still just a boy," Zerix cautioned. "If we reveal too much to him too soon, it may overwhelm him. He must come into his powers gradually."

The council fell silent, the weight of the decision hanging over them. They knew that Shiro had no choice but to confront his destiny. The prophecy had spoken; 300 years, the Dark One would rise again, and a savior would emerge to stop him. Shiro was that savior.

"I understand perfectly Zerix, but we cannot put the people of Serevaal at risk" Rexar insisted, looking at the council.

"Rexar is right,We shall prepare for his arrival," Cora said finally. "Guardian Korin should watch over him, till he is brought to Serevaal."

Zerix bowed his head in agreement. "I will make sure he does."

************************************

Outside the grand council chambers of Serevaal, life thrived in the streets. The tall, twisting structures that was built on the ground sparkled, powered by the elemental forces of the people. Creatures moved through the streets. Some carried on conversations, while others casually manipulated the elements they controlled.

Small, playful beings darted through the roads, flicking flames from their fingers or kicking up gusts of wind as their parents watched.

Near the council was a school, a large academy with large training grounds stretched out, filled with those who were still learning to control their powers and also help fight the Dark One's forces when it eventually came. One group was focused on fire, their hands crackling with embers and flames. Another group worked with water, bending and shaping it effortlessly, another controlling air and earth.

Among them was a young girl named Mei, standing apart from the others. Her skin was silver . She was quiet, watching as the others practiced, her hands resting against the cool, dry earth. Unlike the others, her connection to her element, the earth, was weak. No matter how much she tried, it never responded the way she wanted.

"Mei, you're staring again," a voice said behind her. Mei turned to see her instructor, Rena, approaching. Her skin shimmered in with silver, a reflection of the Earth she commanded. Her long white hair draped over her shoulders. She was a master of both Air and Earth. Rena had an air of authority, though she was gentle when she spoke.

"I'm not staring," Mei muttered, though she quickly glanced back at the others. "I just can't... do what they're doing."

Rena knelt beside her, eyes soft but serious. "You don't need to be like them. Your connection will come. Just be--- patient."

Mei let out a sigh, her frustration clear. "What if it never comes? What if I'm just... powerless?"

Rena shook her head. "No one is powerless here. You feel the earth, don't you? You've told me you can sense it."

"Barely. It's like a whisper. Everyone else can move mountains and I can't even lift a pebble," Mei replied, kicking at the ground in frustration.

Rena smiled faintly. "It's not about force. The earth doesn't respond to anger or frustration. It listens to calm, to balance." She paused, then added, "Let's try something else."

Mei glanced up. "What?"

"Come with me." Rena gestured for her to follow, and Mei reluctantly stood up. They walked over to a quieter part of the training grounds, where the earth seemed undisturbed by all the trials.

Rena placed her hands on the ground. "Kneel, and just listen."

Mei raised an eyebrow but followed her instructions, placing her hands gently on the grass." Now close your eyes," Rena instructed, her voice calm. "Stop trying to make the earth obey you. Just listen."

For a moment, Mei hesitated, but she closed her eyes. She focused, not on her frustration, but on the faint hum beneath her fingertips. Slowly, she felt a subtle vibration, like a heartbeat. She opened her eyes in surprise as small stones around her began to tremble and rise.

"See?" Rena smiled. "You're not powerless, Mei."

Mei stared at the pebbles in amazement before they settled back down. "I... I did that?"

Rena nodded. "The more you understand the earth, the stronger your bond will be."
