The letter from Angelina's uterus examination that was deliberately forged by someone turned her married life with Axton, which was originally like heaven, into hell. Her mistake, Angelina kept the letter secretly until one day, Evelyn, her mother-in-law, found out the contents of the letter stating that Angelina could not have children. Axton, as Angelina's husband, did not accept and felt that he had been cheated by the woman for three years of marriage. The man also brought his affair woman to Angelina's presence and asked her to agree to a letter of agreement. With what kind of plan will Angelina survive and take revenge on them?

Chapter 1 Part 1.

"Your time is up, Angelina Sandore, to become Mrs. Axton Barayev Almero!" The loud voice came from Mrs. Evelyn Almero, the old woman who was now pointing to the right where Angelina, the daughter-in-law, stood.

The situation in the living room was tense when Angelina's secret was revealed. For two weeks, she had been hiding something from her husband's family. The big secret was written on a piece of paper from one of the major hospitals that showed she could not have children.

The evidence was in Evelyn's right hand. She crumpled the paper tightly until it was round, then threw it right in front of Angelina's face.

"All this time, you deceived us all! No wonder that after three years of marriage, my son was not blessed with offspring! It turns out that your womb is defective!" Evelyn scolded her daughter-in-law.

"Mother, forgive me!" Angelina tried to approach Evelyn, but her steps stopped when her mother-in-law's gaze was full of hatred.

"I'll call Axton. He must know about his wife's lies!" Evelyn picked up her cell phone, swiping quickly at the screen.

"Mom, please don't call Axton," Angelina said, reflexively pulling Evelyn's hand until the phone almost fell.

"Idiot!" Evelyn's eyes widened sharply at Angelina.

"Please don't tell him. I can explain everything. Please, Mom!" Angelina's palms were clasped together, begging her mother-in-law to keep her secret.

But apparently, that unlucky day had arrived for Angelina. The sound of a car rumbling outside the house signaled that Axton-her husband-had returned from Evelyn's family-owned company.

"See? Axton is home! You'll be kicked out of this house in no time!" Evelyn smiled wryly.

Angelina looked down. Her heart was racing. She thought of ways to keep Axton from getting angry with her. She could already imagine how disappointed Axton would be if he heard her mother-in-law's complaints.

The tall, wide door opened. Axton walked into the living room. His forehead wrinkled slightly when he found his wife and mother there. Axton looked at the faces of the two women in turn.

"Mom, Angelina, what happened?" Axton asked.

Evelyn walked over to her son, standing at eye level with Axton, who was still carrying his briefcase, while Angelina, filled with a sense of dread, looked at her husband.

"Right now, you should divorce Angelina and throw this useless woman out, Axton!" ordered Evelyn, pointing at Angelina.

"What does that mean, Mommy?" Axton looked confused.

"Angelina has lied to all of us! She has lied to the Almero family!" said Evelyn in a loud voice.

"Lied to? Explain; I don't understand," said Axton, unable to grasp where his mother was going.

"All this time, Angelina has been deliberately hiding the truth that her womb is defective! She will not be able to provide offspring for the Almero family's successor!"

Of course, Evelyn's explanation surprised Axton. His sharp eyes were fixed on Angelina, then moved to the floor where the round paper was lying under Angelina's feet.

"Is that so, Angelina?" Axton cast a questioning gaze at his wife.

Angelina was nervous, unable to explain why. If she told Axton the truth at that very moment, her marriage would be ruined. If her marriage was destroyed, Angelina's life would also be ruined, leaving her stranded on the streets. Angelina didn't want that to happen. She couldn't be discarded by the Almero family. She had to defend her marriage.

"Answer, Angelina! What Mom said is all true!" Axton's voice began to rise.

"I'm sorry, Axton. I... can explain everything," Angelina said in a trembling voice.

"Are you not going to be able to give me offspring?!" Axton asked sternly.

Axton clenched his hands into fists, his teeth chattering with anger. Angelina stepped in front of him and then knelt at his feet.

"Axton, don't hate me," she said, looking down. "I know I was wrong. I'm sorry I did that stupid thing. I was afraid you wouldn't love me anymore."

"Don't give her any mercy, Axton! She's a poor, ignorant woman! She doesn't deserve to be your wife. She doesn't deserve to be part of the highly esteemed Almero family! How will people out there judge? A noble daughter-in-law can't produce offspring? Shame on you!" said Evelyn, fed up with seeing Angelina clutching Axton's feet, which were still clad in dress shoes, begging for pity.

Axton bent his body, firmly gripping Angelina's wrists as he pulled her to her feet. Angelina grimaced with pain.

"Do you know the consequences if you dare to play with me, Angelina?" The baritone voice sounded sinister.

"Get out of my house right now!" Axton yelled right in front of his wife's face.

"I'm not leaving!" snapped Angelina.

Axton's anger peaked. He dragged Angelina roughly, walking quickly as he brought her towards the main door.

"Axton, please! I love you so much!"

"Six years of your life. Don't you remember our sweet memories?"

Angelina was still trying to hold on in the last seconds before she was completely dumped by the Almero family.

"Don't mind her talk! That woman doesn't deserve to be with you, Axton!" said Evelyn, anxious about Angelina, who was still persistent.

"Please, Axton. Please...!"

The sound of Angelina's moaning did not discourage Axton from throwing his wife's thin body onto the porch. Angelina fell to the floor.

Axton and Evelyn stood side by side, looking down at the floor with contempt for a woman who could not have offspring.

Angelina was disposed of like a carcass that smelled, as if something disgusting must be destroyed immediately.

"You've dared to lie to me all these years! Now bear the consequences!" Axton grumbled, not feeling sorry for his wife at all.

With her face flushed with tears, Angelina replied, "But I'm still your wife, Axton!"

"Anyone who dares to deceive me is my enemy!" Axton said.

Chapter 2 Part 2.

Hearing Axton's confession, Angelina was disappointed and heartbroken. The husband who had been the last goal in her life immediately dropped Angelina to her lowest.

Axton Barayev Almero is a man with a stubborn character, firmly educated by Evelyn. He is also a CEO with strong principles. Anyone who dares to betray him does not hesitate to be thrown away and even made to suffer.

"Don't talk like that. I'm not a criminal!" Angelina got up from the floor and knelt at her husband's feet again. "We can talk about this matter properly. I never deceived you, Axton."

Axton looked away in the other direction. He didn't want to meet Angelina's teary eyes.

"Please listen to me, Axton. I received the lab results from the doctor about two weeks ago. I wanted to tell you, but you were always busy."

Angelina hadn't finished explaining when Evelyn's voice cut into the conversation, making Angelina pause.

"Nonsense! That defective woman is making excuses to prevent you from getting a divorce! I'm pretty sure you've been framed by her for a long time. I know you won't let go of my son just like that! You're afraid of becoming a beggar on the streets, aren't you?"

"Really, Mom. I'm telling the truth," Angelina argued, hoping Axton would believe her.

The argument made Axton take a deep breath. Disappointment graced his handsome face.

"Already caught red-handed, still evasive. What sin has the Almero family committed to get a son-in-law with a uterine defect like you? Before Axton gets even worse luck, get out of here!" Evelyn admonished while pulling Angelina's hand to keep her away from her son.

"Please, Mother. Don't kick me out. I have no family other than Almero," Angelina said, not wanting to move from her husband's feet.

"Axton, I'm sorry. I love you so much. Let me stay here as your wife!"

Although Angelina had whined apologetically who knows how many times, Axton remained haughty and did not respond. Instead, he swung his long left leg and kicked Angelina's right shoulder until it fell backwards. Axton didn't care, he continued his fast pace until he got into the car. Then he turned the key and drove the four-wheeled vehicle out of the yard.

Meanwhile, Angelina's anguished moans sounded heartbreaking. A woman who tried to defend her marriage to the point of dropping her pride in front of her husband but never got any attention.

"Servants...!" Evelyn yelled at the servants for a long time.

The two maids also approached Evelyn, the mistress.

"Hurry up and pack Angelina's things, and don't leave anything behind!" she said, not wanting to have a daughter-in-law like Angelina.

"Let me pack it myself!" Angelina replied as she stood up.

"You stay outside! Dare to come into the house, and I'll make sure you never walk again!"

After giving a warning to her daughter-in-law, Evelyn immediately closed the door and locked it.

Angelina's tears that she had been holding back finally fell down her cheeks. She never thought that her love story with Axton-the man who became her lover six years ago-would end so tragically. It was a beautiful love story for her, filled with memories of joy and sorrow. Forgetting Axton was impossible for Angelina.

Half an hour had passed. Angelina was outside the house. She didn't change her position; she just stood waiting for the door to open. Then, the two maids came to her, each carrying Angelina's large suitcase. They handed it over to the owner.

"We don't know what happened to you, Angelina. Hopefully, after leaving this house, you will have a good fate," said one of the maids. Of course, they felt sorry to see Almero's daughter-in-law being kicked out so disrespectfully.

Angelina also took the suitcases from the maids' hands. She nodded while sighing softly, looking more resigned and unsure of what to do.

Axton's car came back in, making Angelina's gaze shift toward where her husband's car had stopped.

"Axton, I know you won't let my life suffer," Angelina said silently. There was a slight smile on her lips as she saw her husband returning home.

However, the faint smile disappeared instantly as she saw Axton open the front car door to a beautiful young woman with waist-length blonde hair and an attractive appearance, suggesting an expensive and elegant lady.

"Who is that woman?" asked Angelina silently.

Axton took her hand without hesitation. They looked very intimate walking together to where Angelina was standing.

Not wanting to get into trouble, the two waiters who were still there immediately returned to the kitchen.

"Are you leaving already, Angelina?" asked Axton when the two stopped in front of Angelina.

"Who is he?" Angelina's eyes couldn't look away from the woman's smooth white hand that grasped her husband's hand tightly.

Her chest began to tighten, not expecting Axton to come with another woman. What did the man mean?

The woman extended her right hand with a sweet smile as she looked proud. "I am Moreen Aluna, assistant in Mr. Axton's office and soon to be Mrs. Axton Barayev Almero."

Angelina's eyes widened in shock at Moreen's confession just now.

"Tell me, Axton. What he's talking about is not true! I will not let any woman take my place as Mrs. Axton Almero!" Angelina firmly denied everything.

"Yes, Moreen is right. Soon we will be married!" said Axton with an innocent face.

"I disagree!" said Angelina.

"After all, who asked for your blessing? You only need to sign this agreement if you still want to be part of the Almero family!" said Axton while holding out a piece of paper to his wife.

"Good! All the plans are going well! And I can't wait to become the daughter-in-law of a noble family!" the cunning woman cheered inwardly.

Chapter 3 Part 3.

At first, Angelina didn't want to sign an agreement that was so burdensome to her. However, she could not let Moreen win against her.

Angelina also chose to stay with the Almero family. For the sake of the integrity of her marriage to Axton, she was willing to accept the bitterness of seeing her husband married to another woman.

Surviving is not only because of her love for Axton. Realistically, the Almero family is very rich, and during her time as Almero's daughter-in-law, Angelina has never lived in deprivation.

There was no fancy wedding party to formalize Axton and Moreen's relationship; it was just an exchange of rings, witnessed by both sides of the family.

In her private room, Angelina sat pensively wringing the fabric of the clothes on her chest. Her heart was really hurting. Who would want her not to be able to get pregnant? Angelina also wanted to make the Almero family happy by giving them many offspring.

According to Angelina, all women in this world are perfect, even if a woman cannot have offspring, because it is not her will.

For about three hours, she lamented her unfortunate fate. Until eleven o'clock at night, she finally got up from the sofa.

However, the sound of the bedroom door opening made Angelina turn her head to the side. She was quite surprised to see Axton and Moreen walk in without hesitation. The two of them looked very intimate and harmonious.

"Axton, what did you bring that woman into our room for?" Angelina's forehead wrinkled faintly.

"You don't need to protest so much, Angelina! I'm tired of fighting with you. Moreen and I will rest here!" Axton said without turning to Angelina.

"Sit down, dear. No need to be shy; this is your home and also your room," Axton pleaded as he gently stroked Moreen's long hair.

Moreen smiled happily and sat on the sofa in the room. But Angelina's heart burned with jealousy at Axton's sweet gesture toward his honey.

"Alright, I'll find another room," said Angelina.

It felt like Angelina's energy had run out to fight Axton's stubbornness. She chose to give in. After all, it was all for the sake of her mental sanity. If she continued to see Axton and Moreen's romance, it would be very bad for her.

"Who gave the order to leave the room? You, stay here! And sleep down there!" said Axton, pointing to the floor beside the bed.

Angelina gasped in shock. Sleeping in the same room with them? Axton's request was crazy!

"That's impossible, Axton! I wouldn't want to sleep with that woman!" argued Angelina, the fingers of her right hand slowly moving to squeeze behind her back.

While Moreen smiled wryly, he silently said, "Keep getting angry, Axton dear, let Angelina suffer more!" Moreen really enjoyed the fight between Axton and Angelina. That was exactly what he wanted: for Axton to love her more.

"You haven't forgotten the agreement, have you? Your life is under my control!" grumbled Axton who wanted to get back at Angelina.

"Never mind, Angelina. My husband wants to rest soon. Why do you always provoke his anger? How can Axton not turn to me if you always disobey?" said Moreen who wanted to show that he was much better than Angelina.

"Shut up! No one needs your opinion!" snapped Angelina while glaring at Moreen.

"Keep your voice down, Angelina. What Moreen said is true. You are indeed a rebellious wife! Don't keep standing, go to bed, and don't make any more noise!"

After that, without any awkwardness in front of Angelina, Axton climbed into bed with his new wife.

Moreen looked back at Angelina for a moment. A sly smile was etched, mocking the poor woman.

...

Angelina lay on her side, her back to the bed. Her thin body was wrapped in a thick white blanket that covered her all the way to her head.

The sound of fondling could be heard on the luxurious mattress. Moreen's spoiled sighs seemed to deliberately provoke Axton's love-making passion to become even more passionate. It looked like the newlyweds were enjoying their first night.

"I've never enjoyed lips this sweet, Moreen. Your beautiful body makes it impossible for my naughty hands not to touch it. You are so amazing, Moreen."

Angelina's tears were unstoppable. Under the thick blanket, she cried silently. How could Axton praise Moreen without caring about her feelings?

Like a nightmare, Angelina indirectly had to watch her husband make love to another woman, making love on a bed full of beautiful memories with Axton. For three years, the bed had accompanied her, witnessing the harmony of her marriage. Now it must be replaced by a shameless woman snatching Axton from her.

***

This morning, Axton asked Angelina to prepare breakfast for him and Moreen. Of course, Angelina didn't want to. However, she was too lazy to argue, so she chose to do it.

She arranged one piece of bread spread with butter and peanut butter on a plate. Then Angelina prepared two glasses of milk with low sugar.

The sound of intermittent footsteps sounded behind her as she began to approach. Angelina knew who had come to the table. She turned around, her eyes scanning the faces of Axton and Moreen in turn. Suddenly she remembered the events of last night, which were very painful. It seemed like they had dated until late in the morning. But why didn't Axton apologize to her? As if there was nothing wrong with last night. Angelina's heart was deeply hurt.

Moreen looked absolutely perfect. Her wet hair was flowing straight, complemented by a very beautiful face makeup, and she was wearing a plain magenta-colored dress that shaped her curves. Not only that, her body smelled of expensive perfume.

Angelina began to look at her own appearance and compared it to Moreen's very different appearance. Angelina's simple appearance did not seem suitable for a CEO like Axton.

"Have I been paying less attention to my appearance? Is that why I am no longer attractive in Axton's eyes?" Angelina wondered to herself.

"Don't stare, hurry up and serve Almero's new son-in-law!" Evelyn admonished Angelina. The old woman joined the dining table, sitting in the chair next to Moreen.

"Mother... Are you up this early?" Moreen greeted her with a sweet smile.

"I should be the one asking that. You're a new couple, why not enjoy some time together?" Evelyn concluded. She could not wait to hear that Moreen was pregnant with her first grandchild.

"I have a lot of work at the office, ma'am," Axton said.

"Ah, Axton. Hurry up and find some free time so you can honeymoon with my favorite daughter-in-law."

"I'll try, ma'am," Axton smiled between bites.

"Remember, Axton, you must impregnate Moreen immediately."

Hearing her mother-in-law's words, Angelina swallowed slightly depressed, starting to feel uncomfortable.

"Take it easy, ma'am. I have taken good care of my womb." Moreen gave Angelina a haughty look. "Not to worry, I'll be pregnant soon, so Axton will love me even more," he continued.

"Not just Axton, the entire Almero family will love you very much, Moreen."

"Ah... I can't wait to get pregnant." Moreen was already imagining how she would receive many gifts from the Almero family.

It was hard for Angelina to contain her emotions as she stood near the dining table, even though she seemed to be ignored. She wanted to leave, nor did she want to witness their intimate conversation. However, she did not want to show her hurt; she had to look as if the situation would not break her.

Angelina pulled back her chair. However, Evelyn's displeased gaze made her nervous.

"Who asked you to join us?" Evelyn asked.

"I'm still Axton's wife, ma'am. It's only right that I be here!" said Angelina, sitting in her chair right next to Axton.

"It's okay, ma'am. Let Angelina stay here," said Moreen.

"Moreen, that's very kind of you. This time, Axton didn't choose the wrong woman," praised Evelyn, increasingly impressed with her new daughter-in-law.

"No good woman would ruin another woman's marriage, ma'am!" Angelina said silently, not wanting to disturb the atmosphere.

She let her mother-in-law flatter Moreen for the time being. While watching the drama, Angelina would calculate how to deal with the woman who dared to take away her happiness!
