Reclaimed By The Alpha King

CHAPTER ONE

Selene's POV

My life had always been torn apart, loveless, and abused by everyone that crossed my path and I was already used to that. But I never thought that anyone would be able to hurt me so bad again to render me so broken, not until I met him.

It all began on a blessed Saturday afternoon, the blazing sun was overhead and the city was buzzing with the day's business. I was at the town's Mayor's bar where I worked as a waitress.

"Please get me water, can I get wine, please? Why are you taking so long?" The clamours of the people in the bar filled my ears and I had to hurry up so that I was going to meet all their orders.

My legs were already aching from the work but I was certainly not going to stop. I was a strong girl right from the beginning and that is exactly what has been keeping me strong.

I could feel sweat forming at the corner of my eyes as I went around the bar with glasses of drinks and cans of water balanced steadily in my tray.

I distributed the drinks as soon as I could. I had to serve everyone there as soon as I could because I also worked at a close by diner after my shift.

I watched the time closely and it was just ten minutes to twelve. "I have just ten minutes more minutes time here," I said swiftly to myself.

I distributed the rest of the drinks around as soon as I could and I went over to my boss, the Vampire Mayor.

"I am done for today sir." I said to him and he shot a stare at me. I was waiting for my allowance and he knew that. He shot a stare at me but I didn't care, all I waited for was my allowance.

He brought out the five dollar bill and pushed it over to me. "Here it is." He returned to me. I snatched the money away from him quickly. I was already running late and I was damn sure that my boss would already be foaming with anger.

I broke into a swift run towards the diner and I could feel my heart pounding hard against my chest as though it was going to burst through and cold Shivers ran swiftly down my spine.

I could see the diner just before me and I knew that I was already late as I could see my boss just before me, foaming with anger.

"Where have you been?" He growled at me with so much hate and anger in his voice when I got over to him.

"I am very Sorry!" I returned to him but he would not listen to a single word that I had to say as he growled at me with so much outrage in his voice.

He pulled away from me and I could not even tell if he was angry or not as he walked Into the diner and I walked slowly behind him but I was stopped by three panther shifters making me fall backward.

"I have gotrent someone else." He shot at me from behind and my heart sank.

"So you have been the one keeping all of us waiting?" They shot at me with smirks hanging on their faces while I stared right into their eyes.

But I was not a single bit afraid of them, I had already been oppressed in the past. This was not the First and it was not going to be the last, and from all these experiences, the only thing that I had learned to do was to act strong.

"What do you want from me?" I shot at them while they advanced slowly toward me and I fell backward with my heart pounding hard against my chest.

"What do we want from you? You kept us waiting so why don't we go to the waiting room?" They shot at me and before I could spit out a single word from my mouth, one of them held me tightly by my hands and licked his lips while the rest of the crowd laughed aloud.

They found it funny but I didn't. My heart pounded hard against my chest as I continued to stare into his eyes. "That's what you get for being such a fool." My boss hissed and walked by while I continued to stare.

I tried hard to break free from him but he had a strong grip on me. "Where do you think that you are going to?" He growled at me while I continued to struggle with him and the rest of them held me from behind.

"Come with us." They shot at me from behind and began to drag me away to the inner room and I struggled even harder but their grip on me was just way too strong.

"Stop right there!" A loud cry came from behind making everyone's eyes turn toward the direction of the sound.

It was a young man between the age of twenty. He advanced towards us swiftly with a frown hanging on his face and he shot a deadly stare at the three of us.

"Alpha Austin?" The Panther Shifters shot quickly and I could hear their hearts beating hard against my chest from the point where I stood.

Everyone in the bar gasped with surprise and my jaw fell apart in amazement. It was the legendary Alpha Austin from the Red Moon pack and I had always wished I would be able to see him one day, but here he was staring at me right in the eyes.

"Why are you disturbing her, why don't you just pick someone your size?" He shot at them with so much hate and anger in his voice.

"Well, she should have come a little bit earlier." They returned but one of the panther shifters firmly refused to leave me alone.

"I am not leaving her alone." He shot at Alpha Austin while everyone in the hall gasped.

He advanced towards them angrily and held him tightly by his neck while he gasped for breath.

"How dare you." He shot at him while he continued to gasp for breath.

"I am sorry my Alpha." He apologised quickly and threw him to the floor while he continued to gasp for breath and he ran out of the place with the others.

Then, he turned towards me and shot a stare at me but I wasn't afraid of him. I opened my mouth to appreciate him but then I began to perceive an odd Scent of commanon mixed with ginger, so sweaty that I could not help but continue sniffing.

Then, my wolf confirmed the truth. "Mate! Mate!" My wolf kept screaming while I continued to stare into his gaze.

CHAPTER TWO

Selena's POV

I stared into his eyes lost while my wolf continued to yell inside of me. "Mate! Mate!" It kept screaming.

All my life, I had always waited for the day that I was going to find my mate, the one that was going to love me and rescue me from all these sufferings and I had finally found him. And to even make things better for me, the moon goddess had decided to give me the Alpha of the Red Moon pack, the largest known Werewolf pack.

I noticed that he was also sniffing and now, I was dead sure that he was my mate.

My lips trembled as the word Inched out slowly from my mouth and my heart pounded hard against my chest.

"Mate!" I shot out the word from my mouth but immediately I said the word, I could see his heart Popping in his chest with anger and I wondered why.

"Hasn't he perceived the Scent? Hasn't he felt the bond?" I thought in my head confused as random thoughts crossed through my mind.

"Mate?" He shot back but not in an acceptance, in a way of questioning and I stood there, still staring into his eyes.

"How is it even possible?" He growled at me and I fell backward. I could already feel tears forming in my eyes but I was able to push them back.

"The moon Goddess chose us." I returned but he spat on the floor almost immediately. "Choose who and who?" He shot at me with so much irritation in his voice.

"Do you think we can ever be together as mates? You are the talk of the town for crying out loud. The Vampire Mayor's Mistress, your debts from gambling are littered everywhere and you expect me to be your mate?" He spat on the floor and everyone in the hall burst into loud piercing laughter.

I felt so ashamed at first that I could see tears forming in the corner of my eyes but I was able to restrain them. "I was a strong girl and I was going to remain that," I said to myself.

"That means you are rejecting me?" I shot at him wanting him to spill out the word right from his mouth and he burst into laughter immediately which tore my heart into a million pieces that could never be fixed again.

"Are you that deaf as much as you are a flirt?" He growled at me. "Okay, if you want me to make it official, I would. I, Alpha Austin, Alpha of the red moon pack, reject you, my mate." Be shot at me.

The crowd laughed as the bond in me was broken into shreds. I stared into his eyes with anger written all over it. I could feel my anger rising so badly that I had to clutch my hands to control my rising anger.

"Fine!" I yelled back at him. "I will stay out of your life and you stay out of mine!" I growled at him while a thick frown was hanging on his face. I never needed you in the first place and you never needed me either so you just fuck off from my life." He growled at me.

I stared back at his cruel face and back at the glaring crowd. I could no longer stand what was happening there, I had to run for it as soon as I could.

"I hate you," I growled at him and I broke into a swift run out of the place while my heart pounded hard against my chest as though it was going to burst through.

I could no longer restrain the tears that were forcing themselves to drop down from my eyes and I let them down slowly.

The sky grew dark and thunder tumbled, followed by a swift flash of lightning, it was about to run.

I ran faster. "I hate you Alpha Austin and I will never have anything to do with you, ever again," I growled as I ran away to our house.

I ran faster because I didn't want to be beaten by the rain. I saw my home a few miles away but I wasn't happy at all, that was the Genesis of my abuse, where all my problems compounded and I am still struggling to come out of.

When I got home, my mum was standing at the door with a thick frown hanging on her face. "And where do you think you are heading to?" She shot at me and her face twisted with disgust.

"I.." I tried to say but she would not allow me to spit out a single word from my mouth.

"But what?" She shot at me, foaming with anger. Do you think I didn't see the mail that he sent this morning or I am a fool? She shot at me. "You know I needed the money and what did you do, go late to work all because you wanted to punish me or what?" She shot at me while I continued to stare at her speechless for a while.

"But..." I tried to say but she would not give me breathing space to even finalize my statement.

"No, but." She shot a stare at me. "You are going back out there and I need that money. I don't care where you get it and how you get it. Just get it and until then, you can live anywhere else except here." She shot at me and closed the door tightly behind her.

I stared at her and I was about to sob but I was able to hold myself. This wasn't certainly the first time that this was occurring.

And I had always used that my mate would come one day to take me away from all these sufferings but he came only to break me even more. "I am never going to have anything to do with him again," I vowed silently with so much hate and outrage in my voice.

I stayed beside the house while the rain began to drop down slowly from the sky and I shivered hard from the cold.

CHAPTER THREE

Selene's POV

I lay on the hard floor and I eventually slept off on the bed but even in my sleep, my mind knew no rest.

My mind journeyed to the time that I was born. I was Born to a Werewolf mom and a warlock father making me a hybrid but I was more of a Werewolf.

I could still remember that morning that I stood before the Council of Alpha Elders all because I had not yet wolfed out. But the truth was I had. I was afraid to display my Alpha human and half wolf because I was going to be executed

"You are not a Werewolf, you are a witch just like your father." One of the Elders spat out at me with fury.

"But is it my fault that I have not yet wolfed out?" I returned swiftly while they continued to stare at me.

I waited impatiently for their judgment. I was already tired of everything that was happening there and my mother knelt beside me.

"You and your mother are banished from the pack." They shot finally while my mother kept yelling at the top of her voice like a wounded lion.

"But I haven't done anything." She yelled at the top of her voice while I continued to stare at the men there foaming with anger.

It was right here that I decided that I was going to firm like a lioness because lamenting doesn't solve any problem, actions do.

"Fine, I accept your judgement, I am going to and never return to this pack." I returned to them and my mother shot a deadly glare at me but the indifferent look on my face remained.

"How dare you." She shot at me angrily. "You are such a misfortune and I regret ever giving birth to you." She shot at me and the words made all the hairs on my body stand and my heart was torn apart into shreds.

I stare into her eyes and the only thing that I could see was hate and disgust and my heart was torn apart into shreds. I could feel tears already forming in my eyes but I didn't allow a single drop of them to fall to the ground.

"Be strong Selina, be strong," I said to myself and I stood up from the floor, ready to leave and I shot a deadly glare at the elders. "I will be back." He fired at all of them and turned to leave.

"What can you do?' They shot after me from behind and I could feel my anger rise so bad that I had to clutch my hands to control it. This wasn't the best place to display my anger certainly.

"But she is the one at fault here. She is the abnormal wolf. Why should I also be banished with her?" My mother shot as the pack guards walked over to her to pull her away from the pack but she continued to struggle with them.

"You are the one who got married to that warlock knowing fully well what it was going to result in." They shot back at her and that was how we were chased out of the pack.

We relocated to the supernatural town just a few miles after the pack, filled with all kinds of supernatural beings.

My mom refused to talk to me throughout the process of her relocation until we got to our new home. She shot a deadly glare at me with a thick frown hanging on her face.

"What are you doing here?" She shot at me angrily and I was taken aback by her question. "What does she mean by that?" I said to myself confused.

"We can't live together, not when you are the cause of all my problems already." She shot at me and I was really confused. I just came into the town and I didn't even know my left from my right, how does she expect me to find a job and a new home?

"But.." I tried to say it but she would not allow me to say a single word.

"No, but." She returned quickly. "I already found a vampire Mayor and you will be working for him From henceforth." She shot at me.

I was happy, at least now I was going to search for a job but her offer sounded way too suspicious. "I will be getting all your income until our debts are fully cleared out." She shot at me and I was really confused. "What debts was she talking about?" I thought in my head confused.

I began work but I wasn't paid for months. I had to inquire and I was informed that my Mom had stockpiled debts acquired through gambling for me to pay.

"Splash." A splash of hot water sprinkled all over my body, making me jump up from the floor where I slept.

"What are you still doing here you fool." She growled at me and I only shot an indifferent look at her, while I tried hard to absorb the pain. She was still my mother after all.

She shot a deadly glare at me. "Leave my house and never return. You are officially disowned by me... I am not your mother and I never knew you." She shot at me.

I was broken at first. But it was only another rejection. I wasn't going to allow them to weaken me, rather they were going to make me as strong and fierce as a lioness.

I walked out of her life not knowing the direction to even take now. I Walked slowly towards the Vampire Mayor who was also my landlord.

But I was already tired of having sex with him to pay my rent. Not after what happened today at the diner and my mate calling me a flirt.

"What should I do now?" I said to myself confused. He was my last and I had to go to him, maybe he was going to give me listening ears and help me this time.

I walked over to the bar where he would be and immediately he saw me, he shot a smirk at me, knowing the reason that I was there.

"I.." I wanted to say but he cut me off almost immediately.

"I already Know the reason that you are here, we can get down to work quickly." She shot a smile at me but I shook my head to his surprise.

"I am not here to sell my body again for rent. I came here so that I will give myself a little more time to pay my rent and immediately I spat out the word from my mouth, he shot a deadly glare at me.

I could feel my heart beating hard against my chest as I stared into his eyes then I saw him pulling something from his pocket.

"What is that?" I thought in my head confused.
