Reborn of the Demon Empress

It was raining heavily.

Loud noises of thunder followed by the strike of lightning.

There were several dead bodies on the cold floor. Bloods were scattered around on the floor like water. Diana withdrew her Gun seeing that she had executed her intentions as planned.

"Burn their bodies". Her voice was threatening like lighting itself. Some part of her body was covered in blood, her hair swayed backwards caused by the sudden air outburst.

"Yes Boss!". They replied at the same time to Diana that already made her way out. Behind her was Karl, her one and only trusted bodyguard.

Not minding the pouring rain, Diana made her way out. Immediately she came outside of the building, the cool air of the rain welcomed her, red liquid started gushing down from her body because of the rain water.

Diana's face at this moment was like that of a vengeful spirit, her both eyes were fierce. Her face showed no emotion of any such. Her walk was so elegant, every step she took was fearless like a Boss she was.

After getting over to where the car was parked, Diana entered the back seat of the car after throwing the key to Karl that caught it.

In no time, the car started after the two were already settled in. Karl then drove out speedily from that environment.

After a 10 minutes ride...

The large gate before the car opened up after hearing the very first beeping that the car made.

Soon that very car drove inside speedily, the water on the floor splashed roughly because of that.

Bossy Diana came down from the car after the car completely stopped. She headed straight to the large Mansion in front of her without turning her back.

Karl soon followed after Diana.

Getting inside the Mansion, she went up to her room, after which she then headed straight to her bathroom.

Diana stood under the shower as the water poured on her head, downwards to her legs. Red liquid also poured down from her body.

Soon she was done with bathing so she came out from the bathroom. She put on her clothes before making her way to her pool.

Diana sat and relaxed her body on the chair close to the water. Her mind was all cleared because of the blood of others that she shed.

Karl was staring at Diana from afar. He sighed deeply in relief and anxiety after seeing his very opportunity. He was holding a glass cup with a bottle of wine.

After recollecting himself, he walked right over to where Diana was relaxing herself.

Luckily there was a glass table near Diana, he helped open the wine. After opening the bottle of red wine, he poured a little down on the cup before handing it over to Diana who collected it from him.

"You may leave. I'd like to be left alone". She ordered him. Her voice was firm and rigid when she said that. And in no time, Karl pledged his respect to her before excusing himself from her presence.

"What a nice way to enjoy this rainy view". She muttered before directing the glass cup to her mouth. In one swift move, she gulped down the red wine into her system.

"So distasteful". She said in annoyance before placing the cup on the table beside her. Diana rested back her head on the chair as she enjoyed the view before her.

But that wasn't for long, she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. That made her groan out in pain. Diana clenched her hand into a fist because of this.

In no time she fell on the floor and started vomiting and coughing out blood.

"What is happening to me!". She coughed out forcefully because of the way she yelled out.

Diana felt her life force fading away. Suddenly all she could see was darkness. She couldn't move any more despite all her efforts put into it.

With the last of her strength, she tried her best to get up from the floor but she only ended up falling inside the pool. "K... Karl!". She tried calling as she was beginning to drown already.

"Is this how my life will end?. I didn't actually believe so". Diana completely let the darkness take over her. Her body already became stiff, and her heart stopped beating completely.

Karl that was behind watching all these moments, he came out from his hiding place. He walked to the pool where he could clearly see the figure of someone.

"I'm sorry Boss. But this is the only way, you have to die for us to live". He muttered.

Karl waited for a little while before helping Diana out of the water. Her body was already cold and stiff like ice. Even though in death, her beauty can't be hidden.

Karl carried Diana in his arms before heading outside from the Mansion. He was to announce to others about the tragic death of their brutal, fierce lady Boss.

...

"Huh?. I didn't die?". Diana got confused when her both eyes that were shut suddenly opened up.

She got even more confused when she tried getting up but only ended up hitting her head hard against some wooden cover.

"How did I get in here?". She wondered because all she remembered was that she fell inside the pool after she felt a sharp pain in her stomach.

"Whatever!". Diana then forcefully opened up the wooden cover that was preventing her from completely moving her body.

Her eyes widened in great shock and disbelief when she saw the way that everyone stared at her as if they saw a ghost. Diana didn't want to think much about this, so she quickly got up and moved away from the golden casket-like box. She was even still wondering how she ended up here.

Diana suddenly came to halt when she finally noticed something. The way these people dress, it's extremely weird to her. She scanned her environment thoroughly. Diana deeply sighed when she saw that no one was ready to talk. They were all focused on staring at her.

"Since you guys aren't ready to talk, then I perhaps will. Take away those hidden cameras!. I'm not a movie star you know. Do you people know who I am!". She burst out on them. How could they bring her here to shoot a movie without her own notice!?.

"Your Majesty!!!". Diana heard them suddenly start yelling and tearing up. At first she thought that they were just crazy, but this came to her as a surprise because they never stopped yelling and tearing up.

"Y... your Majesty?. Are they referring to me". She thought because she wasn't getting any of these at all.

Diana got pissed off because they never stopped yelling out, this only just made her feel dizzy. She thought that it was maybe a movie they were shooting, but as of this case, she could only see that perhaps they are all mad. That should really be the explanation of why they were all behaving like this. She scoffed. "Maybe these dudes do take their job seriously to this extent". She thought.

Diana didn't mind at all, her main focus was on how she was going to get out of this place. She still hasn't yet gotten an explanation of what had happened to her last night. Why did she suddenly feel that sharp pain and end up falling inside the water?. The most mysterious part of it all, "How is she still alive at this moment?". She will figure it out but after she gets the hell out of here.

Diana's eyes widened in surprise when she saw the weirdly three dressed men in front of her. It seems like they were preventing her from going. She bore a wicked smirk on her face before she charged herself towards them. [She is a great fighter, there is no way a bunch of movie amateurs are going to stop her].

But she got it all wrong. Before she could even lay a finger on one of them, Diana was already knocked out.

"Take the Queen inside to her chamber!". An elderly man's voice ordered the guards to do exactly as he said. Soon Diana was carried to her chamber by one of the guards.

"Father!. I was scared to death". A young lady cried out... After she got over to her Father, he welcomed her into his arms for a hug. He let her sob all she wanted.

Rowan pet on her back. "It's ok dear. She's alive and you don't have to take her place any longer". He assured her. Rowan's voice was sweet and lovingly as he assured her, his hand was still placed behind her back. He was still smoothing her up.

After breaking the hug, Rowan deeply sighed after seeing the face of his beloved daughter. Her eyes were still covered in her tears. Her eyes were swollen, it was almost even unrecognizable.

Rowan didn't fail to also notice how rough and unkept her hair was. His precious Mia had been crying ever since her niece's death. She was to take over in marriage for the sake of the kingdom after the demise of the Queen.

It was quite shocking news to Mia when they announced to her the sudden awakening of the Queen. At first she thought that it was all a lie, but until she saw that for herself.

"It's okay my dear. I'll make sure that your niece never attempt suicide again. The gods were on our side this time. Your niece is not meant to die yet, not after she fulfils and saves the kingdom from great bloodshed".

"Mm". Mia gently rubbed her head on her father's chest.

"My dear. You're not to inform her about the marriage yet, it seems like her suicide attempt really did something to her brain. You are not to speak of this to her yet". He said.

Mia released herself from her father. "Sure Father". She assured him before on her way.

After getting to her room, she immediately fell down flat, right on her bed. Mia hasn't fallen asleep for the past two days after the death of her niece. She was deeply in great thought and pain because of the marriage ceremony that might come for her in her niece's place. She was just in great relief that her niece woke up from her death sleep. "Thanks to the gods". Mia muttered before she soon fell asleep.

Inside a large chamber...

The decorations of the room were all in black, paintings of the Queen were perfectly arranged all over the room. There also seems to be black candle sticks that were lit on.

The slim beauty figure that was lying unconscious on the bed was being attended to by the best imperial doctor.

"Ah". Diana moaned out in pain from finally opening her both eyes. She almost gave a punch right on the face of the doctor, but because she was feeling extremely weak at the moment, she just couldn't.

Diana allowed the doctor to help her sit up. The first place her hand made contact with was her neck that hurt. That was the spot where she was hit before she passed out.

"Your Majesty". Diana didn't say anything after hearing what the elderly man called her. Her one hand was placed on her forehead as she felt her head. She was already getting a headache due to this, and this was unusual to her.

"Heavens smiled upon our kingdom and decided to bring you back to us".

To be sure that the man was referring to her, Diana turned to her back, even by her side but she saw no one else beside her.

"Could it have been that I died and was now in another world?". Diana began with her reasoning. She wasn't a fool and has already found out that this isn't a movie at all.

This here is real and happening before her, but she still couldn't get the reason why. She fell inside the pool. She thought that last night was going to be her last moment alive. But how come she ended up here after waking up?.

"Who are you?". Hearing her voice at this moment, she noticed that her voice wasn't the same as her bold fearless voice. The voice even got her by surprise because of how soft and sweet it was.

A thought suddenly went through her head. Spotting a large mirror not far from the bed, Diana stood up out of curiosity before running straight to face the mirror.

"Are you alright your Majesty?". The doctor asked but Diana didn't reply back.

She almost even lost her balance of the sight before her in the mirror.

This isn't the fierce face she used to have. Her smooth, tender and sharp beauty face that showed no emotion, was replaced by an innocent, drop gorgeous, smooth face. This face type can't even hurt a fly.

Diana didn't know what just happened, it was as if she lost control of her body and ended up falling on the floor where she then lay unconscious again.

"Your Majesty!!!". The elderly doctor got really frightened to death when he saw Diana fall on the floor. His shout brought a lot of attention, because others made their way into that particular room where the noise was coming.

[They'll make sure never to lose their beloved Empress to death again!].

Inside the Empress chamber...

They were all patiently waiting for the Queen to awaken. Even though the elderly imperial doctor had assured them that it was going to be okay, they still didn't dare to move an inch from the room. Their heads were lowered before her as a sign of respect they all have for her.

They all make way on the arrival of elder prince Rowan and his daughter. Rowan deeply sighed when he saw the pale figure unconscious on the bed.

He gestured for them to leave after getting over to the side of the bed. And soon the room was empty. Only the two (Rowan and Mia) were together inside the room with Diana that was still unconscious.

Mia's face was pale again at the sight of this. Her heart was fearing for the worst that could happen. She was thinking, what if she dies again?... Does that then mean she was going to be the one marrying off to an unknown guy?. She can't let that happen. She would rather die than witnessing herself get married to an enemy of the Kingdom.

"Fa... Father. Do you think...?".

Rowan doesn't know how to express his assurance over this worried daughter of his, he only strokes her gently on her shoulder before facing his unconscious brother's daughter.

Rowan went ahead and pressed his two fingers on her forehead. He sighed in relief after seeing that her condition isn't that of a big deal. She should wake up in no time. [Her wedding with the Lord was just in three days].

Luckily for them, the Lord doesn't know of the bride suicide attempt.

Diana unconsciously moved on the bed. It didn't take long before she opened her eyes. Actually, her body sensed some other people present inside the room with her. She doesn't know how that happened, but she could just feel it inside of her like it was something knowing and natural to her.

"Darcia!!!. You're finally awake!. I really thought I lost you again. I can't let that happen!. I don't want to get married to that freak in your place!". After realizing her mistake just now, Mia covered her mouth with her hand, but that was already too late because Diana already had heard about what she just said.

Diana was first confused by the name, but what made her even more confused was the moment when she heard "Married that freak in your place". She doesn't understand what she meant by that.

Rowan hid the disappointment that he had for his nosy daughter. With the knowledge and elderly strategy that he had, Rowan tried explaining it the opposite way around to Darcia, but this Darcia isn't the same old naive young lady.

She already figured everything out in just one goal. "That means Darcia committed suicide just because of marriage?. Just how bad is the groom?. Is he perhaps worse than me?". She thought.

...

"Father. What do you think is wrong with Darcia?. Why did she send us both out of her room? She's behaving strangely, don't you think so?". Mia asked. Just a while ago when she tried explaining about the marriage to Diana, she just sent them out from her chamber.

Mia couldn't help but to wonder. The Darcia that she knew wasn't like this. As a Queen she doesn't even have full authorities of her own. Her Father was always the one helping out. She even considered Darcia as a gentle, innocent type. Who knew that she would change just overnight?.

Rowan didn't give a straight answer to Mia. He only told her that it was normal for her to behave like how she did. After all, it's really a graceful thing if she woke up from death. What more could they expect?. Rowan told his daughter, a price must be paid in return.

No matter how much Rowan explained it to Mia, she still didn't quite grab what he said. She only nodded in acknowledgement just to maintain the flow.

Diana was sitting back straight on the bed. She let her head relax on the bed edge. Her one hand was placed on her chin, even her brows furrowed.

With every passing minute seems like a nightmare to her. She could only wonder if all these were real. Diana loosened the hair bun, suddenly her hair scattered down behind her back and also in front of her face.

"Who did this to me?". Her face darkened at the thought of this. Diana isn't a dumb lady, so she already figured out that Karl was the one behind all of these. He must be the one that poisoned her in the hope that she dies. "That sly fox!". Her voice showed only anger and yet at the same time, it was like a melody that flows and sings right inside the ears of many.

Diana knew that now that she had transmigrated to another world, she'll have to blend in with the identity of the real host. Her beloved name Diana was now replaced as (Darcia). "What a nice name for a dark strong lady. Tsk tsk tsk. But too bad, you weren't strong enough".

Diana (Darcia) was lost in her thoughts. For the first time in her entire life she was ever troubled like this. She was lost in her thoughts but she was sure of one thing. She can't stay here at all, or even in this world.

She will definitely find her way back home and deal with that bastard that stabbed her in the back.

"There must be an explanation about this, and I'm going to find out exactly what that is!". Darcia (Diana) hand was clenched tight into a fist.

What pained her the most is that the very body that was now hers was vulnerable. How is she expected to survive in such a world with a weak body?. This thought still bothers her right till this moment. Seems like she doesn't have any other option but to start from the scratch.

Because of her great mindset, Darcia believed that everything was going to turn out just right, as the way she had planned it.

She took all the valuables inside the room and packed it up with a bag that she could find. Even though this body was weak, Darcia still has the mindset and both the strategy of Diana. (The lady Boss of Diana underground).
